Abstract

This research endeavors to examine the effect of financial literacy and lifestyle on the financial management of eleventh-grade students at SMK Negeri 1 Surakarta, both individually and collectively. The research employs a quantitative method, with a population of 357 grade XI students at SMK Negeri 1 Surakarta and a sample size of 186 students. Probability sampling, specifically the proportionate stratified random sampling method based on the Krejcie and Morgan table, was utilized for sample selection. Primary data for the study were gathered through the administration of questionnaires, and data analysis was conducted using multiple linear regression analysis. The findings indicate that (1) financial literacy has a partial influence on the financial management of grade XI students at SMK Negeri 1 Surakarta, (2) lifestyle also has a partial impact on the financial management of these students, and (3) the combined effects of financial literacy and lifestyle significantly influence the financial management of grade XI students at SMK Negeri 1 Surakarta.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang dan menggunakan model manajemen literasi "Jus Carica" yang merupakan akronim dari Jumat Sehat Membaca, Mencari dan Menggali Wacana. Model manajemen literasi ini menjadi strategi peningkatan literasi siswa di Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan (SMK) Negeri 2 Sewon, yang dikembangkan melalui pendekatan membaca, mencari informasi, dan menggali wacana. Penelitian dilakukan dengan Metode DBR (Design Based Research) dari Mckenney & Reeves, 2013. Melalui metode DBR dilakukan desain, implementasi, dan evaluasi program pelatihan untuk pengembangan kompetensi literasi membaca bagi siswa. Pemilihan metodologi ini dan alasan mengapa mengimplementasikannya dalam di SMK, didorong oleh keyakinan bahwa perlu mengubah pendekatan sekolah terhadap program penguatan literasi, yang jelas dapat ditingkatkan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan dalam keterampilan membaca, kemampuan mencari informasi, serta kemampuan menganalisis dan mengelola informasi siswa. Dukungan penuh dari guru dan semua stakeholder di lingkungan pendidikan SMK menjadi faktor krusial dalam keberhasilan implementasi model ini. Melalui implementasi yang tepat, model ini dapat dikembangkan pada SMK lain dengan harapan dapat memberikan dampak positif yang signifikan pada kemampuan literasi siswa, membantu mereka lebih siap menghadapi tantangan di dunia pendidikan dan pekerjaan.

Abstract

Conducting learning assessments is a teacher's activity aimed at collecting evidence of learning objective achievement. Teacher competence plays a crucial role in formulating learning assessments, ensuring they go beyond written tests alone. An action research was conducted with the objective of evaluating the use of the GROW-ME Coaching Model to enhance English teachers' competence in developing learning assessments. The research was carried out in two cycles, each involving four stages: Planning, Implementation, Observation, and Reflection. Coaching was conducted during the Implementation stage following the GROW-ME model, including Goal, Reality, Option, Will/What Next, Monitoring, and Evaluation. The research subjects were three English teachers at Masa Depan Cerah Christian Elementary School. The results of the research indicate that the use of the GROW-ME Coaching Model is effective in improving teacher competence in crafting learning assessments. By the end of the second cycle, two subjects achieved scores of 91 (Excellent), while one subject scored 80 (Good). Thus, all three subjects met the success criteria with a minimum score in the Good category.

Abstract

Education has a crucial role in the advancement of a country. The disparity in the quality of education can be attributed not only to the educational process, but also to the subpar performance of teachers as educators. The objective of this study is to ascertain the impact of digital literacy, innovative work behaviour, and interpersonal communication on teacher performance. This study use statistical survey methodology to authenticate its conclusions. The Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Model (PLS-SEM) was employed by the researchers. The Serang City area in Indonesia is home to a collective of 19 public elementary schools. The research sample comprised 19 school administrators and 81 state elementary school teachers in Serang City, Banten, Indonesia. We implemented the sampling process using a stochastic technique. PLS path modelling is employed in data analysis. The research findings indicate a significant impact of innovative work behaviour, digital literacy, and interpersonal communication on teacher effectiveness, with a p-value of less than 0.05 for each relationship. The research findings hold considerable ramifications for school principals seeking to enhance teacher effectiveness.

Abstract

Creativity of PAUD teachers are needed in learning and teaching activities. Teacher competency influences student learning outcomes. PAUD teachers are required to have a set of attitudes, knowledge and skills in increasing stimulation of all aspects of early childhood development. Creativity as the ability to produce meaningful learning. Observation results shows that teacher’s creativity at Petra Christian Kindergarten is low. This research was conducted to determine the application of the GROW ME model coaching method in increasing teacher’s creativity in teaching and learning activities at Petra Christian Kindergarten, Jombang, East Java. This research is a qualitative methods research that refers to the Kemmis and Mctaggart model. The research was conducted in two cycles using the plan-action-observe-reflect stages in each cycle. Research results, the application of the GROW ME coaching model can increase teacher’s creativity in learning and teaching activities at Petra Christian Kindergarten. In the end of first cycle showed results of improvement in 9 research subjects with quite good intensity, an average increase of 12.4%, however, to continue to strengthen the results, another stage was carried out in the second cycle The results of observations in cycle II again showed various and almost even increases in the range of increases among the 9 research subjects. It is necessary to continue providing assistance to strengthen the further results.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to evaluate three main aspects: first, the suitability of Islamic Religious Education materials which apply a multiliteracy approach to improve student learning outcomes; second, ease of use of Islamic Religious Education materials with a multiliteracy approach in improving student learning outcomes; and third, the efficiency of Islamic Religious Education materials which utilize a multiliteracy approach to achieving student learning outcomes. This research was carried out at the Sahabat Qur'an Binjai IT Middle School during the first semester of the 2023-2024 academic year. The research method used is the development method using the Sugiyono model. The test subjects for this research were class VIII students, with a focus on developing multiliteracy-based PAI material. The resulting material has gone through a validation process by design experts, material experts and language experts, with an average validation result of 3.66 and a "very feasible" category. This product was also practically tested with an average result of 3.40 and the "practical" category. The research results show that multiliteracy-based PAI material has a high level of suitability for use in learning, based on expert assessment. This product has also proven to be practical in use. However, in terms of effectiveness, this material shows a moderate level of effectiveness in improving student learning outcomes, with statistical analysis showing tcount (4.26) which exceeds ttable (1.99) and N-Gain of 0.38 which is included in the "category" currently".

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the efforts of teachers, parents, and forms of collaboration in developing adolescent morals. This type of research is part of qualitative research using the Systematic Literature Review (SLR) model by searching 161 articles through the DOAJ and Garuda databases, selecting 13 articles according to the criteria. The research results show the teacher's holistic efforts through strategies towards students and their key role in shaping the character of teenagers. Collaboration between parents and teachers involves various methods, includes internal and external aspects, and adapts to the local cultural and educational context. This review indicates that collaboration between teachers and parents has a crucial role in shaping the character and morals of adolescents, supporting the view that moral education for adolescents requires synergistic support and cooperation. This research also provides directions for future research, including technological, cultural, organizational and behavioral aspects at different levels and regions.

Abstract

Many students tend to be more interested in seeing their classmates' work achievements than trying and considering doing the assignments given by the teacher. This condition causes delays in students' thinking processes and efforts, which prioritize the influence of others rather than trusting their personal abilities. This research aims to explore the impact of emotional intelligence and learning independence on student learning outcomes at Al-Ma'sum Stabat Vocational School. The research method uses a second item relationship test, including Ordinarity, Homogeneity and Linearity Tests. The results of the individual t test show that there is no correlation between X1 (emotional intelligence) and Y (PAI learning outcomes) in the learning of class X TBSM students at Al-Ma'sum Stabat Vocational School. However, the results of the F test indicate that there is a joint influence between X1 (the ability to appreciate people deeply) and X2 (student learning independence) on Y (PAI learning outcomes) in this class.

Abstract

Kegiatan pembelajaran mengunakan konvensional berpengaruh terhadap hasil belajar yang masih rendah, oleh karena itu pentingnya memilih model pembelajaran yang tepat untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir tingkat tinggi peserta didik. Penelitian bertujuan untuk memperbaiki model pembelajaran terhadap hasil belajar, maka perlu di terapkanya model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe jigsaw untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir tingkat tinggi peserta didik terhadap sebagai bentuk hasil belajar pada materi bentuk-bentuk interaksi manusia dengan lingkungan IPAS di kelas V SDN Tegalkalong. Metode penelitian ini mengunakan desain (quasi eksperiment) yaitu melibatkan dua kelas, kelas kontrol dengan mengunakan model konvensional sebanyak 30 peserta didik dan eksperimen dengan mengunakan model koopratif tipe jigsaw sebanyak 30 peserta didik dari kelas V SDN Tegalkalong. Mengunakan uraian soal pretest untuk mengetahui kemampuan awal dan postest untuk mengukur kemampuan akhir hasil belajar. Pada hasil tes akhir setelah penerapan model pembelajaran IPAS di kelas kontrol dan eksperimen nilai rata-rata peserta didik mengalami perbedaan terhadap hasil belajar bahwa diperlakukan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe jigsaw lebih tinggi mempunyai nilai rata - rata (100) sedangkan dibandingkan pada hasil belajar kelas konvensional mempunyai nilai rata-rata (80). Penelitian ini memberikan manfaat terhadap peserta didik yang terlibat dalam penelitian serta wawasan terhadap guru sebagai referensi dalam penerapan model pembelajaran yang telah diterapkan dapat berpengaruh positif. Kriteria ini menunjukan keberhasilan dalam menggunakan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe jigsaw sangat cocok di terapkan jenjang sekolah dasar dalam meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir tinggkat tinggi sebagai bentuk hasil belajar.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui seberapa besar peningkatan pemahaman matematis penjumlahan pecahan campuran siswa kelas V SD melalui pembelajaran Team Games Tournament (TGT) dengan penggunaan math quiz. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan desain penelitian berupa quasi eksperimen pretest-posttest non-equivalent control group design. Desain ini mempunyai kelompok kontrol, tetapi tidak dapat berfungsi sepenuhnya untuk mengontrol variabel-variabel luar yang mempengaruhi pelaksanaan eksperimen. Sekolah Dasar di Kabupaten Cirebon menjadi populasi dalam penelitian ini, dengan menggunakan dua sampel penelitian yang dipilih secara acak, yaitu SDN 1 Kebarepan dan SDN Tegalwangi 3. Hasil belajar siswa, angket, dan dokumentasi pendukung digunakan untuk mengumpulkan data penelitian ini. Setelah data terkumpul data dianalisis dengan menggunakan software SPSS 22 yang memungkinkan pengambilan kesimpulan melalui beberapa tahap antara lain uji prasyarat mutlak, uji paired sample T test, independent sample T test dan dilengkapi melalui hasil uji n-gain. Hasil penelitian ini menyatakan bahwa pembelajaran Teams Games Tournament cukup efektif untuk meningkatkan pemahaman matematis peserta didik pada materi penjumlahan pecahan campuran dibandingkan dengan pembelajaran secara konvensional. Pembelajaran menggunakan TGT berbantuan math quiz mampu menarik serta meningkatkan keaktifan dan semangat peserta didik.
