Abstract

The Independent Curriculum in education provides freedom for students to learn independently, but teachers have obstacles related to the lack of knowledge of the independent curriculum because they do not have experience with the concept of the Independent Curriculum. In addition, the difference from the K-13 curriculum to the independent curriculum has resulted in problems experienced by some teachers in developing learning tools, namely that teachers have not been able to develop CP, TP, and ATP properly. Thus, this study aims to analyze the difficulties experienced by teachers when developing CP which is simplified into TP and developed into an ATP. This study used qualitative methods with data collection techniques using questionnaires. The questionnaire was given to grade 1,2, and grade 4,5 teachers who have used the Merdeka Curriculum in several schools in Sumedang Regency. Then, data analysis was carried out using the Miles and Huberman model which consists of three stages, namely data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing. Based on the results of the analysis, it shows that the total number of teachers who experience difficulties is 76 people or around 27.6% of the total 300 teachers, so efforts are needed to overcome teachers' difficulties in developing CP, TP, and ATP.

Abstract

Imagination in education is considered to be just imagination, illusion and fantasy due to a lack of knowledge of the nature of imagination itself. This research will comprehensively discuss the fundamentals of imagination in education. The method used uses literature studies that elaborate and examine and critically sort literature sources that are relevant to the topic being researched to produce quality research. The research results show that imagination plays a very fundamental role in education, this is proven by imagination as a source of knowledge where imagination is not limited by binding principles of thought. Imagination is the result of human sensory experience which is depicted by producing ideas, thoughts or works that are original and authentic. Futuristic pedagogy is a bridge in connecting imagination with education that prioritizes the principle of humans as multidimensional creatures who have the ability to think about the future, overcome problems and answer future challenges, to provide solutions to issues in society.

Abstract

The low ability of sixth graders in writing procedural texts on sculpture making is attributed to a lack of understanding of procedural texts, difficulties in communicating knowledge into written form, and challenges in constructing effective sentences. This research aims to enhance the ability of sixth graders in writing procedural texts on sculpture making through the application of the Merdeka Belajar approach integrated with Project Based Learning (PjBL) and Tri-N. The study employed a Classroom Action Research (CAR) methodology, conducted in three cycles. Each cycle consisted of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection phases. The subjects of the study were sixth graders from SD Negeri Candiyasan Wonosobo. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and procedural text writing tests. The findings revealed a significant improvement in the ability of sixth graders to write procedural texts on sculpture making. In the first cycle, the pass rate for the procedural text writing test remained relatively low at 10%. In the second cycle, there was a significant increase in the pass rate for the procedural text writing test to 38%. The third cycle demonstrated optimal results, where almost all students achieved the pass rate, showing an increase of 52%. Therefore, it can be concluded that the Merdeka Belajar approach integrated with PjBL and Tri-N is effective in enhancing the ability of sixth graders to write procedural texts on sculpture making at SD Negeri Candiyasan Wonosobo.

Abstract

The problem that often occurs in the era of globalization education in Indonesia is the lack of religious knowledge, one of the factors is the neglect of Islamic religious values in the learning process and the lack of student morals. The research is qualitative research. While the type of research is descriptive in nature. This research is classified as field research when viewed from the place where the research was carried out. The subjects in this study were school principals, Islamic Religious Education teachers, and students of MIN 6 BIMA. While the object is coaching in growing students' spiritual intelligence. The data comes from observation interviews and documentation. In this case the researcher acts as a full participant, where the researcher is a planner, implementer, data collector, analyzer and becomes a reporter on research results. The results of the study show that the efforts of the akhlaq aqidah teacher in cultivating the spiritual intelligence of students at MIN 6 BIMA lead to the formation of morals through religious activities, habituation and learning in the classroom. Religious activities at MIN 6 BIMA are considered very effective, because the activities carried out at school are habits that are intended as provisions to deepen faith, broaden knowledge about Islam and form Muslim and Muslim women who are able to filter out negative influences from their environment and become a young generation who good morals in everyday life.

Abstract

Professional and quality human resources (HR) services are highly dependent on the existence of a reputable organization. The only way to fulfill these requirements is through a reputable educational institution. It is hoped that competitive Human Resources (HR) will be created at national, regional and international levels through quality education. A good sign of a quality Islamic educational institution is its track record in both academic and extracurricular fields, as well as national and international accreditation status. In an effort to improve the level of Islamic education in Indonesia, this research examines the quality management system used by educational institutions. The principal, deputy principal, head of department, and resource persons were additional research informants at SMK Muhammadiyah 7 Gondanglegi. This research combines a descriptive approach with qualitative methods to describe field research findings. The use of qualitative descriptive methods makes it easier for researchers to explain research results by describing the steps taken by SMK Mutu in determining curriculum and strategies to improve student skills, especially in the Automotive Light Vehicle Engineering (TKRO) department as a Center of Excellence. Research findings show that improving the quality of student competency at Muhammadiyah 7 Gondanglegi Vocational School is by implementing a collaborative curriculum with industry, namely by aligning the curriculum, project-based learning, bringing in teachers from industry and carrying out TEFA activities. In addition, educational institutions plan well and implement their plans as intended, which directly affects the quality and progress of these institutions.

Abstract

The relationship between constructivist theory and Project-Based Learning (PjBL) is very close, as both share many of the same fundamental principles. The aim of this study is to determine the effectiveness and impact of implementing Project-Based Learning (PjBL) in learning chemistry. The method used in this study is a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) with Google Scholar. The results of this study indicate that the implementation of Project-Based Learning (PjBL) in chemistry learning has a significant impact on improving students' understanding, as well as developing critical thinking and collaborative skills. Project-Based Learning (PjBL) places students at the center of the learning process, allowing them to connect theory with practice through relevant and challenging projects. PjBL also impacts positively on students' collaborative skills. It also enhances students' motivation and engagement in chemistry learning. Since PjBL is centered on projects that are relevant and meaningful to students, they are much more motivated to be actively involved in the learning process. In order to ensure that the implementation of Project-Based Learning (PjBL) in chemistry learning is more effective and relevant to the needs of today's learners, teachers may utilise technology platforms such as Zoom, Google Classroom, or other online learning applications to facilitate collaboration and interaction between learners by online.

Abstract

The learning process that still revolves around teachers using only lecture methods and the lack of utilization of engaging learning media makes learning monotonous and boring. This study aims to develop the Monopoli Cerdas (MONCER) learning media to support the learning process on Theme 8. Bumiku Subtheme 1. Perbedaan Waktu dan Pengaruhnya. This research is a Research and Development (R&D) with the ADDIE development model through the stages of analysis, design, development, implementation, evaluation. The results of the study show that the Monopoli Cerdas (MONCER) media overall obtained a rating with a very feasible category, with the details of the media feasibility percentage as follows: subject matter experts with an average acquisition of 88.02%, media experts with an average acquisition of 83.75%, language experts with an average acquisition of 84.86%. In addition, there was a significant increase in student learning outcomes, namely by 21.13 points, and positive responses from students with a response rate of 91.94%. The MONCER media has been proven suitable for application and effective in increasing students' interest and motivation to learn.

Abstract

Batik adalah seni dan cara menghias suatu kain dengan penutup lilin yang dalam pembentukan corak dan pola hiasnya dengan menggunakan pewarna. Dua pewarna tersebut, yaitu zat pewarna alami dan zat pewarna kimia. Dalam perkembangannya zat pewarna alami makin diminati, selain karena memiliki warna cantik dan unik juga baik untuk kulit pemakai. Untuk itu, tulisan ini bertujuan memaparkan mengenai zat pewarna alam yang dapat digunakan sebagai alternatif pewarna batik. Sifat dari penelitian adalah penelitian lapangan dan penelitian kepustakaan. Teknik penelitian dilakukan dengan berbagai langkah, diantaranya: teknik Observasi. Data yang telah diperoleh kemudian disusun dan diklasifikasikan serta dianalisa secara deskriptif kualitatif. Serta untuk mendapatkan data pelengkap penelitian ialah dengan teknik penelitian kepustakaan. Dari studi ini, didapatlah hasil pembuatan batik dengan menggunakan berbagai zat pewarna alami. Baik yang sudah sering digunakan ataupun zat pewarna alami baru yang dapat digunakan sebagai pewarnaan dalam pembuatan batik. Dalam pengaplikasian zat pewarna alami direkomendasikan untuk menggunakan bahan sekitar agar nantinya dapat menjadi ciri khas warna batik Jepara dan disarakan untuk sering mencoba, agar dihasilakan warna yang sesuai dengan yang di inginkan.

Abstract

PAI plays an important role in the school curriculum that serves to shape students' character, morals, and spirituality. However, teachers are often faced with student learning difficulties. PAI teachers need to have effective learning strategies to help students overcome learning difficulties. This study aims to analyze teacher strategies, implement strategies and classify internal and external factors in experiencing learning difficulties. This study used qualitative research through a phenomenological approach. Data collection was carried out through observation, interviews and documentation. Observation was carried out at SMPN 3 Grogol Sukoharjo. Data analysis techniques used qualitative data analysis, namely data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. Based on the results of interviews with PAI teachers, there are still many students who are less motivated to take lessons and many students experience learning difficulties. Difficulties experienced in terms of process, material for reading and writing Al-Qur'an verses and expertise in memorization. PAI teachers must have effective learning strategies in overcoming student learning difficulties, namely 1). approaching students, 2). applying interactive learning methods, 3). coaching students through the rohis program, and 4). carrying out evaluations. Internal factors that affect student learning difficulties are: 1). low interest in learning the PAI subject, 2). low student motivation, 3). low ability to read, write and memorize the Qur'an. External factors include: 1). learning methods and media that are not in accordance with student characters, 2). parents pay less attention to their children, 3). excessive use of technology.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to explore how school brands can be used as a tool to instill character in students through learning the Koran. This research uses a qualitative approach with a case study method, which involves in-depth interviews with teachers, school principals, students and parents, as well as direct observation of Al-Qur'an learning activities. Research findings show that a strong school brand, appropriate strategy and implementation, as well as an appropriate evaluation program to measure effectiveness play a significant role in establishing a learning environment that supports the cultivation of discipline and responsibility. The strategies implemented include collaboration with student parents, building commitment from teaching staff, setting clear and measurable targets, interactive learning activities, and implementing positive habituation programs in students' daily lives. Measuring and evaluating the effectiveness of cultivating the character of discipline and responsibility at SDIT IQRA Serang City is carried out through various activities involving all elements of the school, including teachers, students and parents. Measuring and evaluating the effectiveness of character cultivation includes tahfidz d exam activities, counseling for students and parents, coordination meetings as well as progress reports and program preparation. The conclusion of this research is that a school brand that is well designed and implemented can be an effective means of developing discipline and responsibility in students, which ultimately supports the achievement of learning targets as well as students' academic and non-academic achievements.
