Abstract

The implementation of the independent curriculum at MI Al-Mahad An-Nur has been running for one year. Therefore, this study aims to determine the implementation of the independent curriculum in English subjects at MI Al-Mahad An-Nur. This research uses a descriptive qualitative research type. Data were obtained through interviews, observations, and documentation. The data were then analyzed through data collection, data condensation, data presentation, and conclusions. Based on the research results, the implementation of the independent curriculum in English language learning at MI Al-Mahad An-Nur has been carried out well. The teachers at MI Al-Mahad An-Nur have done thorough lesson planning by analyzing students' needs, preparing teaching modules, and participating in training related to the implementation of the independent curriculum. Additionally, the teachers at MI Al-Mahad An-Nur have used enjoyable teaching methods in the learning process. Although some challenges were encountered during evaluation, these challenges were overcome, ensuring that the implementation of the independent curriculum in English language learning at MI Al-Mahad An-Nur can run well.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the feasibility and effectiveness of smart box media in learning science elementary school students. This research is a type of Research and Development (R&D) with Borg and Gall design. Researchers use different types of methods to collect data, such as observation, interviews, questionnaires, documentation, and tests. The researchers used one group pretest-posttest experiment design. Experiments were conducted to test the effectiveness of smart box media in improving cognitive abilities in science learning. The results obtained from the needs analysis that has been done, using student response questionnaire, questionnaire practitioner / teacher, and questionnaire validation of experts can be concluded that the development of smart box media is getting a very decent category with the acquisition of value of 89% of the results of expert validation and 98% of the results of validation of practitioners. Then from the questionnaire the student's response was obtained by 90%. Analysis of the learning outcomes of the respondents became the subject of research, obtaining a score on the pretest 54 increased to 81 on the posttest, with an average value of 0.592 or 59% which is interpreted as moderate and quite effective. It can be concluded that the sets-based smart box media is included in the category of very feasible and can be used as auxiliary media in Learning Natural Sciences (IPA). Further research is needed in order to design learning process activities using sets-based smart box media in science learning in elementary schools.

Abstract

This study aims to enhance the motivation and learning outcomes in mathematics for second-grade students at Cita Hati Christian School through the implementation of Polya's procedure in cooperative learning of the Teams Games Tournament (TGT) type in Mathematics lesson. This research uses the classroom action research (CAR) method conducted in two cycles. Each cycle consists of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The subjects of this study were 22 second-grade students. The instruments used in this study include observation sheets and learning outcome tests. The results of the study indicate that the implementation of Polya's procedure in TGT-type cooperative learning can improve students' motivation and learning outcomes. This is evidenced by the consistent average motivation scores of 100% in both the first and second cycles. Additionally, students' learning outcomes also showed improvement, with the average test scores increasing from 91% in the first cycle to 95% in the second cycle. Thus, it can be concluded that the use of Polya's procedure in TGT-type cooperative learning is effective in enhancing the motivation and learning outcomes in mathematics for second-grade students at Cita Hati Christian School.

Abstract

This research aims to develop interactive e-Modul media based on AI Chatbot for accounting subjects and evaluate its impact on students' learning interests. Qualitative methods are used through in-depth interviews with teachers and students as well as classroom observations using the E-Module. The results showed that this interactive e-Modul was well received by teachers and students, with a significant increase in student participation and enthusiasm. Students feel more motivated and helped in understanding accounting material, while teachers feel helped by Chatbots that provide quick and accurate answers. Although there are several technical obstacles, such as limited Chatbot knowledge and access problems, the results of this study indicate that the use of an AI-based interactive e-Modul Chatbot has great potential to increase student learning interest. Continuous development and support of adequate technology infrastructure are needed to optimize the implementation of this learning media in the future.

Abstract

Democratic education exists to address the challenges of globalization in Indonesia. Changes in the educational landscape driven by globalization have encouraged innovation, especially through the introduction of the independent curriculum. This study aims to examine the role of educational democracy in implementing the independent curriculum, which prioritizes democratic values with the goal of fostering creative, critical, and productive individuals, thereby enhancing the pedagogical quality of education. The method used is a literature review, examining various sources such as books, journals, and relevant publications. The independent curriculum seeks to create an educational process based on the principles of freedom, independence, and equality, guiding individuals toward a better life. Democratic education encompasses not only procedures but also values that respect human dignity. Literature review results from several sources indicate that implementing democracy in education through the Independent Curriculum has a significant impact on improving the quality of education in Indonesia, where all students are provided with engaging learning experiences. The Independent Curriculum, moreover, emphasizes principles of freedom, independence, and equal rights, aligned with the spirit of high-quality democratic education and integrated with the use of technology in the process.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi perbedaan dalam kemampuan berpikir tingkat tinggi (HOTS) siswa terkait konsep hidrostatika dalam IPA terpadu tipe connected antara kelompok yang mengikuti pembelajaran berbasis masalah (PBL) dan kelompok yang tidak. Selain itu, studi ini juga bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh dari penerapan model PBL terhadap kemampuan berpikir tingkat tinggi siswa. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah eksperimen dengan desain kuasi-eksperimental, dilaksanakan di kelas VIII MTs Muhammadiyah Al-Haq Palu. Sampel terdiri dari dua kelas: satu kelas eksperimen menerapkan PBL dan satu kelas kontrol menggunakan metode discovery learning. Data dikumpulkan melalui tes keterampilan berpikir tingkat tinggi yang berbentuk tes esai dengan 6 soal. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tidak ada perbedaan signifikan dalam kemampuan berpikir tingkat tinggi antara siswa yang menggunakan PBL dengan yang tidak, sebagaimana dibuktikan oleh hasil uji beda (t-test), dengan nilai signifikansi (2-tailed) sebesar 0,183 > 0,05. Namun, penerapan PBL dalam konsep hidrostatika dalam IPA terpadu tipe connected terbukti efektif meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir tingkat tinggi siswa, dengan N-Gain kelas eksperimen sebesar 0,65 (kategori sedang) dan kelas kontrol sebesar 0,63 (kategori sedang). Selain itu, setiap indikator keterampilan berpikir tingkat tinggi menunjukkan peningkatan yang lebih signifikan pada kelas eksperimen dibandingkan dengan kelas kontrol.

Abstract

Matematika mempunyai peranan yang penting dalam membentuk kemampuan kognitif dan kemampuan bernalar kritis siswa di sekolah dasar. Namun, hasil belajar dari pelajaran matematika yang rendah di sekolah dasar merupakan salah satu masalah utama yang dihadapi dalam dunia pendidikan saat ini. Kesulitan memahami konsep-konsep dasar pelajaran matematika banyak dialami oleh siswa, yang berdampak negatif pada pencapaian akademis mereka secara keseluruhan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh pembelajaran berdiferensiasi terhadap hasil belajar matematika siswa di sekolah dasar. Penelitian ini menggunakann pendekatan systematic literature review. Data yang dipakai adalah artikel yang terbit dari tahun 2022-2024 sebanyak 200 artikel. Dari 200 artikel tersebut dipilih berdasarkan kriteria inklusi dan eksklusi sehingga terdapat 12 artikel yang memenuhi syarat inklusi. Hasil penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa: (1) pembelajaran berdiferensiasi dengan memperhatikan gaya belajar dapat meningkatkan hasil pembelajaran matematika siswa; (2) pembelajaran berdiferensiasi dapat dipadukan dengan model pembelajaran lainnya; (3) Pembelajaran berdiferensiasi dapat efektif dalam meningkatkan hasil pembelajaran matematika siswa di sekolah dasar, dan; (4) pembelajaran berdiferensiasi untuk pembelajaran matematika di sekolah dasar dapat membuat siswa tertarik untuk mengikuti proses pembelajaran.

Abstract

Learning media really supports the learning process for students, the results will have an impact on the level of student understanding in each subject. SMK Negeri 1 Bawolato is one of the schools whose students, especially class This research aims to utilize video tutorial-based learning media in entrepreneurship subjects. The aim is to increase student independence and interest in learning as evidenced by increased learning outcomes. Apart from that, this learning media is also expected to be useful for teachers and students in increasing knowledge related to the use of information technology. The type of research used is qualitative method research, where the results of the research show that there has been an increase in student learning outcomes. Initially students only passed at 75, now the average student completes at 80-95. Apart from that, the use of video tutorials also adds to the insight of teachers and students. The conclusion from this research is that teachers must continue to use learning media that suit students' interests, such as using video tutorials that utilize information technology.

Abstract

Pembelajaran adalah motivasi yang diberikan guru kepada siswa untuk memperoleh pengetahuan. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan media interaktif Wordwall untuk Pendidikan Pancasila pada elemen Negara Kesatuan Republik Indonesia (NKRI) menggunakan model Problem Based Learning (PBL) di kelas IV Sekolah Dasar Gugus 1 Kecamatan Padang Barat. Pengembangan ini bertujuan agar media tersebut valid, praktis, dan efektif. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah Research and Development (R&D) dengan model 4D. Penelitian dilaksanakan di sekolah dasar dengan pengumpulan data melalui angket dari ahli materi, bahasa, media, serta respon guru dan siswa. Subjek uji coba terdiri dari 28 siswa kelas IV di SDN 24 Ujung Gurun dan 28 siswa di SDN Percobaan Padang. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa media interaktif Wordwall mendapat nilai validitas materi 95%, bahasa 95%, dan media 87,5%, semuanya dalam kategori valid. Uji praktikalitas dari respon guru menghasilkan 89,5% dan respon siswa 91,7%, keduanya dalam kategori sangat praktis. Uji efektivitas menunjukkan hasil 91%, masuk dalam kategori sangat tinggi. Dengan demikian, media interaktif Wordwall dinyatakan valid, praktis, dan efektif untuk pembelajaran Pendidikan Pancasila di kelas IV Sekolah Dasar.

Abstract

Discipline is the key to success in various aspects of life. This research aims to analyze the discipline character of students in extracurricular drum band in elementary schools. This research focuses on two aspects of discipline, namely time discipline and action discipline. This research was carried out on drum band extracurricular activities at SDN Pakujajar CBM Kota Sukabumi. The research uses qualitative methods, data is collected through observation, interviews and documentation. The research results show that students who are members of the extracurricular drum band have a disciplined character. The character of this discipline includes discipline towards time and discipline towards actions. Time discipline is reflected in arriving on time and being able to make the best use of time. Discipline in actions is shown through obedience to rules, being orderly, being responsible for one's equipment, respecting each other and being serious when training. Disciplined character is created because of habits. With this, research shows that extracurricular drum band in elementary schools plays a role in forming disciplinary character. The drum band extracurricular can be a means of cultivating disciplined character that is useful in preparing students to face the outside world.
