Abstract

Rapid advances in financial technology have given rise to a new form of investment in the form of digital gold, which provides easier access and high efficiency, especially attractive to millennials. This study is important because it is necessary to ensure that the investment practice is in accordance with the principles of Islamic law, considering that there is still a debate about its halal. The main focus of this study is to examine the halal status of digital gold through a review of muamalah fiqh and sharia maqasid. The research was conducted with a qualitative approach through literature studies. Data sources were obtained from classical fiqh literature, DSN-MUI fatwas, OJK regulations, and relevant scientific journals. The analysis was carried out in a descriptive-qualitative manner with thematic methods, and using document triangulation techniques to ensure the validity of the data. The findings of the study show that digital gold can be considered halal if it meets the criteria of a valid contract, clear physical ownership, and is free from elements of riba, gharar, and maisir. However, many digital gold service provider platforms have not fully complied with these requirements, especially in terms of contracts and transparent proof of ownership. The lack of investor understanding and the absence of specific regulations are also the main challenges in ensuring compliance with sharia principles. This research contributes to building the relationship between fiqh muamalah and maqasid sharia. to assess the legitimacy of digital-based financial products. As a result, collective efforts are needed in ijtihad, increased transparency from service providers, and collaboration between education and regulation to build a responsive and competitive Islamic financial ecosystem in the digital era. This study advocates strengthening regulations based on sharia maqasid and encourages further research involving an empirical approach to the implementation of sharia fintech in the field

Abstract

This research explores strategies to increase technological awareness among Madrasah Ibtidaiyah teachers in Wonomerto through the utilization of digital media. This research aims to fill the void of studies on teachers' technological awareness in the madrasah context by using a descriptive qualitative approach with a single case study design applied, involving observation, semi-structured interviews, and document analysis for two months (May-June 2025). Data were obtained directly through semi-structured interview techniques, open-ended questionnaires, and review of relevant documents, and then analyzed using an interactive model. The results show four main findings: First, awareness arising from practical needs in the classroom, second, the contribution of internal learning communities in accelerating technology adoption, third, structural challenges along with adaptive response mechanisms, and fourth, the insertion of Islamic values in digital materials. The findings show that the combination of collaborative practices, locally developed innovations and reinforcement of moral values plays an important role in building teachers' confidence in supporting the sustainable use of technology. In conclusion, the integration of these three elements forms the foundation for a resilient and effective digital learning ecosystem

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the level of mastery of Qur'an reading by students of the Islamic Religious Education Study Program (PAI) UIN Ar-Raniry Banda Aceh using the maqra tahsin method. The focus of the research includes three main aspects: (1) the ability to apply tajweed, (2) the understanding of tahsin reading, and (3) the influence of educational background on Qur'anic reading competence. The research uses a descriptive quantitative method with a data collection technique through direct tests using validated maqra tahsin instruments. The research sample consisted of 40 students of the class of 2021 who were selected by purposive sampling, representing four categories of educational backgrounds: tahfiz Islamic boarding schools, non-tahfiz Islamic boarding schools, aliyah madrasas, and public schools. The results of the study showed that overall, PAI UIN Ar-Raniry students had the ability to read the Qur'an with an average score of 161.25 (category B). Comparative analysis revealed significant differences based on educational background, where students graduating from tahfiz Islamic boarding schools obtained the highest scores (188.2), followed by non-tahfiz boarding schools (182.7), aliyah madrasah (171.6), and public schools (155.7). Another important finding is the weakness in mastering gharib recitation (especially imalah, saktah, and naql) and fawatihu suwar in students with public school backgrounds. Based on these findings, this study recommends several improvement strategies, including: (1) an intensive coaching program based on campus ma'had, (2) the development of structured tahsin learning modules, (3) an integrated remedial system, and (4) a more comprehensive integration of the tahsin curriculum. The implications of this research are not only important for improving the quality of learning in the PAI Study Program, but also as a basis for the development of a more inclusive Islamic education policy

Abstract

This study aims to explore the strategy of using Augmented Reality (AR)-based interactive learning media in improving the understanding of Natural and Social Sciences (IPAS) concepts in grade V students at MI Miftahul Ulum Kanigaran. The method used was a qualitative case study with participants consisting of one experienced AR user teacher and eight students selected through purposive sampling. Data were collected through semi-structured interviews, participatory observations, and focus group discussions, then analyzed inducively following a cycle of data reduction, presentation, and verification. The results show that AR acts as a conceptual bridge that facilitates multisensory meaning, so that misconceptions of IPAS concepts can be minimized through three-dimensional visualization and instant feedback. An effective strategy includes three stages: (1) integrated planning, where teachers align AR modules with students' learning needs; (2) collaborative implementation, optimizing group discussions based on AR experience; and (3) structured reflection through the presentation of findings and peer feedback. Nonetheless, device and internet connection limitations and instructional design challenges are obstacles that require managerial support and ongoing training. This study concludes that the integration of AR with a targeted strategy and adequate infrastructure support can drive pedagogical transformation towards 21st century science learning in madrasah ibtidaiyah

Abstract

ABSTRACT This study examines the meaning and application of Problem Based Learning (PBL) by teachers at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Miftahul Ulum, Probolinggo Regency, as an effort to integrate Islamic values into the learning process. With a descriptive qualitative method, data was collected through semi-structured interviews, direct observations, as well as analysis of the Learning Implementation Plan (RPP) and teacher evaluation notes. The findings show that teachers use PBL as a contextual space to instill the principles of ta'awun, tawakkal, honesty, and responsibility in each stage of problem-solving that is close to the student's experience. Reflective approaches and dialogical discussions accompanied by the integration of Qur'anic verses and hadith have been proven to improve students' critical thinking skills while strengthening their spiritual awareness. The main obstacles identified are limited technological facilities and infrastructure, high administrative burden, and lack of special training for teachers. This study also highlights the active role of students in designing solutions and the influence of PBL on their learning motivation. Therefore, it is recommended to provide continuous intensive training for educators, adjust curriculum policies more flexibly, improve supporting facilities, and establish a community of practice between teachers. This step is expected to support the consistency of PBL implementation, improve the quality of learning outcomes, and form students' religious character holistically. The results of the research are expected to support the development of a more contextual madrasah curriculum

Abstract

The combination of information and communication technology in the teaching and learning process at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah is still constrained by various structural aspects and limited resources. Based on research at MI Nurul Ulum, the most significant obstacle lies in the availability of facilities in a number of classrooms that are not equipped with projectors, adequate computers, and stable internet access—so that digital learning practices cannot be carried out evenly. In addition, most teachers have not mastered the use of educational software and supporting digital media, so the effectiveness of the use of technology in the classroom is still not optimal. The lack of firmness in the internal policies of madrasas to support ICT integration further weakens these efforts; Existing directives are often only recommendations without clear evaluation mechanisms, incentives, or sanctions. The pedagogical aspect is also a challenge in itself, where educators are not fully ready to design and implement learning that combines technology with the nuances of Islamic values, because conceptual understanding and digital-based pedagogical skills are still limited. Similar findings in the literature confirm that the readiness of teachers as a whole is the key to the success of the use of technology in religious education, so that the shortcomings in this case are the main inhibiting factors. Therefore, integrated efforts are needed, ranging from improving ICT infrastructure and providing continuous training for teachers to rearranging madrasah policies that are more proactive in facilitating learning innovation. With a holistic strategy and full support from various stakeholders, the integration of information and communication technology at MI Nurul Ulum is expected to run more effectively and sustainably

Abstract

This study examines the legal implications of Constitutional Court Decision No. 138/PUU-XIII/2015 concerning palm oil plantation businesses in Indonesia, particularly regarding the requirement to obtain both a Plantation Business License (IUP) and Land Use Rights (HGU) cumulatively. While the decision was intended to ensure legal compliance, environmental accountability, and sustainable land governance, it has inadvertently created legal uncertainty for companies that had lawfully operated with only an IUP prior to the ruling. This has raised significant concerns about the retroactive application of legal norms and the risk of criminalizing actions that were previously considered lawful. By applying the principles of legal certainty, non-retroactivity, and justice within a democratic state governed by law, this research emphasizes the urgent need for transitional legal frameworks. These frameworks should aim to harmonize regulatory enforcement with investment protection, uphold the rule of law, and prevent arbitrary state actions. Ultimately, this study advocates for policy reforms that balance environmental objectives with the legal rights and economic security of legitimate business actors in the plantation sector
