Abstract

As a prosperous and developed country, of course the State of Brunei Darussalam has implemented a very good education, economy and government system in accordance with the state ideology that is firmly held, namely Malay Islam Beraja (MIB). In the aspect of education, socio-economics and leadership in Brunei Darussalam embody Islam that is Rahmatan lil alamin according to the explanation we have conveyed. Education in Brunei Darussalam is characterized by the dominance of Islamic Religious Education which is specifically managed by Kesultanana in the Haji Sultan Hassanal Bolkiah Foundation (YSHHB) as well as at the tertiary level such as at UBD (Universiti Brunei Darussalam), KUPU (Kolej Universiti Perguruan Ugama) Seri Begawan and UNISSA (Sultan Sharif Ali Islamic University).The Sultanate government as fully responsible for the education process also integrates Islamic religious education with science, where according to the teachings in the Qur'an and Hadith, all have a connection and are beneficial to humans. Likewise with progress in the economic sector, where the State of Brunei Darussalam is a producer of oil and gas in Southeast Asia and even globally, which supports the welfare of its people. A government system that continues to maintain security and stability by adhering to the MIB ideology, carrying out Islamic teachings very well, this can be seen from every policy and regulation delivered by the Sultanate.

Abstract

Allah has perfected this Islamic religion and all aspects in it such as maghdhah forms of worship, ghoiru maghdah and so on, no need to be added and subtracted like maghdhah worship, namely prayer, fardu prayer and sunnah, there are standard rules of both time and number. rekaat and its terms and guidelines, but in the modern era there is a prayer ritual performed on the last Rabo month of Shafar with certain rules and conditions, until now there is no basis for the argument. In his book Mujarrobat, Shaykh Ad-Dairobi states, "According to some scholars of enlightenment, every year there are 320,000 calamities that are sent down to the world, and all those calamities are revealed on the last Wednesday in the month of Shafar (Wednesday Wakesan). So that day, is a heavy day compared to other days in a month ". So there is a group of people who make a practice in the form of prayer to reject it. However, this prayer is not prescribed.

Abstract

The accumulation of cases always increases from year to year. For this reason, the Supreme Court issued Supreme Court Regulation (Perma) No.1 of 2016 concerning mediation procedures in court, as an effort to reduce the number of cases that go to court, including divorce. but unfortunately mediation does not show the expected success rate in religious courts. This research reveals the failure and success factors of mediation in the Jambi religious court, the role of the mediator in resolving divorce cases and exploring the effectiveness of mediation in divorce cases. This research is located at the location of divorce cases, namely the Jambi City Religious Court, the Kuala Tungkal Religious Court and the Sarolangun Religious Court. The results of this study prove that; first, the mediation success rate is only 4%. The failure factor for mediation is the lack of judges as mediators, there is no incentive funds for mediators who succeed in reconciling the mediator who does not have sufficient skills in dealing with the parties. Second, the role of the mediator in resolving divorce cases is not only as a facilitator but as a catalyst, educator, supporter and psychiatrist depending on the case at hand.

Abstract

Palembang City is one of the big cities in Sumatra, there are also Medan City, Banda Aceh City and Lampung City which are growing rapidly in terms of education, social economy and culture. In this paper, the author wants to convey to readers that in the area of Sumatra Island, there is one area that is the center of learning the Qur'an, namely the city of Palembang. Palembang City is not only famous as a City of History where at that time there was a war with Dutch Colonialism, the AMPERA event or the Mandate for the Suffering of the People and other historical events. The author wants to look at the aspects of learning the Qur'an in Palembang City, one of which is the center of learning is Bayt Al Qur'an Al Akbar which is located in the Musi II Gandus area of Palembang City.

Abstract

Principal supervision aims to improve teacher performance. Next is teacher performance, namely strengthening teacher characteristics in an effort to improve the quality of work life, as stated by Sellar and Maura, which states that teacher characteristics have traditionally been assessed as a desired indicator or as teacher quality, the latter is closely related to the impact of values, attitudes and understanding as a professional practitioner educator. For teachers to be effective in the information age, they need to get to know students more about their backgrounds and learning styles. Teachers must be effective and act positively in the classroom to improve educational outcomes. In order to do this they must have the will to enhance cognitive learning inthe process.

Abstract

This study describes the construction of social solidarity built by Muslim youth in Indonesia through social media. Researchers in compiling this study used thematic analysis and literature related to the research theme. Islam as a religion has universal value in building social solidarity through the teaching that believers are like one body, which are interrelated. The parable that was conveyed by the Prophet Muhammad SAW which was narrated by Muslims became social capital that Islam could become an agent of unity in the country of Indonesia. Seeing the phenomenon of the flow of information that is so easy on social media, of course, it is hoped that the message of unity will be able to move Islamic youth who arenow dominating cyberspace to build social solidarity towards National Resilience.

Abstract

This paper aims to reveal and explain the dynamics of Islamic boarding school kiyai in relation to national politics and review the repositioning of the role of the kyai in the dynamics of national politics. Although there have been many analyzes regardingthe role of the kyai, the fact is that the ups and downs of the pesantren's kiyai position are increasingly visible. This can be proven by the practical involvement of the kyai in politics so that it has an impact on the existence of the pesantren education institutions that they manage. The results of the author's analysis illustrate that it is time for the kiyai to return to their central role as the main figure in the management of pesantren, this is important to do so that the existence of pesantren inthe modern era is maintained and focuses on reformulation of the bastion of morals and morals of the ummah which is increasingly worrying. The reformulation that the author offers is through the internalization and adaptation of modern civilization for kyai and focuses on improvements in educational institutions, both in the fields of economy, socio-culture, and technology.

Abstract

This study aims to describe and analyze in depth the management of the boarding school leaders in developing the entrepreneurial spirit of the santri, starting from planning, organizing, implementing, monitoring and evaluating programs. The results of research from three Islamic boarding schools in Jambi Province regarding the management of the boarding school leadership in developing the entrepreneurial spirit of the santri found that it was in accordance with the function in management theory, namely: (1)Planning carried out by the boarding school leadership is the formulation of goals (vision, mission), entrepreneurial advice and infrastructure, planning of Ustad and Santri and curriculum. (2) Organizing: Islamic boarding school leaders share job descriptions for each pesantren program, granting authority, assigning tasks; (3) Implementation: The cultivation of life skills in Islamic boarding schools consists of two forms, namely hard skills and soft skills. Hard skills include teaching and directing entrepreneurship in the field in the form of: Plantation, agriculture, animal husbandry, pesantren cooperatives, catering, fashion, fish farming, carpentry, welding. Meanwhile, the soft skills are: organization of the students, planting foreign languages, independent students, calligraphy, IT, prayer, learning the art of reading the Koran, etc .; (4) Monitoring and Evaluation: Total quality control, visits to business premises, individual learning, evaluating the results of activities, taking clarification and correction steps, assessing and correcting all programs. The conclusion of this research is that the management of the boarding school leadership in developing the entrepreneurial spirit of the santri has been going well, with the various life skills beingtaught to make the students independent.

Abstract

In Law Number 41 of 2004 concerning waqf and Government Regulation Number 42 of 2006 concerning the implementation of Law Number 41 of 2004 concerning waqf which regulates immovable and movable waqf to provide opportunities for those whose lives are simple but want to do good. Of the eleven City Regencies in Jambi Province, one of them is Tanjung Jabung Timur Regency. Tanjung Jabung Timur Regency has 11 sub-districts, 20 sub-districts and 73 villages (out of a total of 141 sub-districts, 163 sub-districts and 1,399 villages throughout Jambi). In 2017, the population was 222,834 people with an area of 5,445.00 km² and a population distribution of 41 people/km². The research methodology used is sociological/empirical research and uses a qualitative approach, referring to all regulations or laws and regulations relating to the legal issues under study, namely research on the norms contained in the Qur'an and Al-Hadith. The results of the study, namely the regulation of waqf property management, show that the current waqf property management regulatory system is a pattern of regulation of waqf property management which is still considered traditional-consumptive. This can be known through several aspects: Leadership, Recruitment of nazira human resources, Operationalization of empowerment, Patterns of utilization of results, and control and accountability systems.

Abstract

This study aims to find a profile of Quality Management Implementation in three Private Vocational High Schools with a detailed aim of finding an implementation model to provide information to all other private vocational high schools that have not achieved “A” accreditation so that they can achieve “ A “ accreditation. This research is a qualitative research, where the reseach is conducted in three private vocational high schools in Jambi city which are accredited “A” represented in Yadika, PGRI 2, Pelita Raya schools. Data collection techniques using observation, interview and documentation, data Analysis using the Cresweel model and data valiidity techniques using data triangulation. The results of the research on Implementation of Quality Development Management at private vocational high schools in the form of innovative ideas that are applied in the field, cover a number of aspects that are quite broad because the customers of a Bujan scholl are only students but also administrative staff, teachers, and stakeholders or the community. The Conclusion of this study is that the Quality development management in Increasing the Competitive Advantage of Private vocational high schools in Jambi Provinces is the existence of a solid and responsible team commitment and cooperation in order to get special attention from the community and become an option for the community, the success factor of the Implementation of Quality development management, what can increase competitive advantage in private vocational schools in Jambi Province is organized management, supported by reliable human resources, good relations with the enviroment and the world of work, mature leadership policies, support from foundations and a solid work plan.
