Abstract

Research aims: This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of risk management at Pelindo post-merger and measure its risk management maturity level. Moreover, the study intends to offer relevant recommendations for the company in developing risk management strategies and implementation. Design/Methodology/Approach: This study adopts a qualitative descriptive approach with a case study strategy, wherein the researcher analyzes an organization as the unit of analysis in a non-contrived setting, reflecting a natural environment without manipulation. Data collection techniques include interviews and document analysis, while data analysis follows the Miles and Huberman model with four main components: data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. Research findings: The study's findings indicate that the risk management maturity level at Pelindo post-merger is at the good practice phase, scoring 2.94 from the dimension and performance aspects assessment. Recommendations for improvement include enhancing risk culture, improving the effectiveness of risk management functions, and aligning risk strategy with the ERM transformation plan to increase the effectiveness and compliance of risk management. Theoretical Contribution/Originality: This research makes a theoretical contribution by assessing the level of risk management maturity in the context of mergers among state-owned enterprises (SOEs) in Indonesia's maritime industry. It uses measurement methods tailored to regulations from the Ministry of SOEs, providing a reference for other companies seeking to develop effective risk management strategies. Practitioners/Policy Implications: This research suggests that organizations should strengthen risk culture responsibilities in job descriptions at all levels, as well as adopt technology and automation for real-time risk monitoring to enhance risk management effectiveness and ensure alignment with corporate strategy. Research Limitations/Implications: The limitations of this study primarily stem from restricted access to internal and sensitive data, which constrains the depth of analysis and hampers comparison with industry best practices.

BeautyHaul, the first personal care e-commerce company in Indonesia, aims to strengthen relationships with customers and increase their loyalty through consumer involvement in brand communities and word-of-mouth (eWOM) marketing which have the potential to increase repurchase intention. Data were collected from a sample survey of 155 respondents using purposive sampling method, which were analysed through Partial Least Squares-Structural Equation Modelling (PLS-SEM) and PLS-Predict. The coefficient of determination R2 indicates the influence of independent variables on repurchase intention is 44%. The analysis findings show that customer participation, positive electronic word-of-mouth (eWOM) and online brand community trust has positive and significant influence on repurchase intention on direct effect. The result shows that positive electronic word-of-mouth (eWOM) and online brand community trust also have positive and significant influence as mediators between customer participation and repurchase intention. Abstract

This project aim is to develop smart greenhouse farming based on IoT system for monitoring the quality for the plant which use sensor and Node-RED as a website for monitoring. The monitoring system using microcontroller such as humidity sensor, soil moisture to control the condition of soil moisture level. The phenomenon of greenhouse plants is particularly significant since it has the potential to help improve the economy and cut manufacturing costs. Given the agricultural industry's lack of human resources, one of the cultivation techniques that have to be improved is hydroponic plants, also known as greenhouse plants. Hydroponic plant technology can be used in conjunction with hydroponic plants. Tropical greenhouses have various advantages in plant cultivation as well as practical manufacturing potential. This technology can be utilized to apply according to plant demands to maximize yield in agriculture. The project employed is a tool for monitoring soil moisture that is based on a prototype using an online platform for monitoring humidity and plant quality, and it can assist farmers in decreasing the budget for production.

Abstract

Augmented Reality (AR) technology has had an impact on changes in the world of education, especially improving the quality of education which has positively influenced the learning and teaching process, with the use of tools in education it has proven effective in improving the learning and teaching environment in the classroom and even changing the way we view education. This research aims to design a solar system application as an alternative AR-based learning media by integrating 3D models, animation and video to improve the learning experience of students, especially students of SDN Larangan 5 Tangerang. This is based on the lack of student learning experience, especially regarding the solar system material which is still lacking and not yet varied because so far SDN Larangan 5 has not used technology, especially AR technology in the learning process and still uses book texts and videos. This research used the Multimedia Development Life Cycle (MDLC) method and usability testing was carried out using the System Usability Scale (SUS) method with a total of 33 respondents with a test result of 78 which indicates the level of user satisfaction with the solar system application that has been tested on the respondents.

Abstract

Soil fertility is the ability of the soil to provide the nutrients needed by plants in adequate quantities and in a form that can be absorbed by plant roots. The aim of this research is to determine the level of soil fertility in the Aek Kundur river area regarding factory waste disposal in Lingga Tiga Village, District. West Bar. This research was carried out in June 2024 in Lingga Tiga Village, Bilah Hulu District, Labuhanbatu Regency with an altitude of 28 meters above sea level with coordinates N: 98022'44.34" E: 02032'34.23". Analysis of the physical and chemical properties of soil was carried out at the Laboratory of the Faculty of Agriculture, University of North Sumatra using an exploratory-descriptive survey method. Research results on the physical properties of the soil in Lingga Tiga Village have a clayey clay texture and in Liga Tiga Village have a clay texture. Furthermore, the chemical properties of the soil in Lingga Tiga Village have criteria, namely neutral pH, low organic C, moderate P2O5 and low soil fertility status in the Aek Kundur river area against factory waste disposal. For this reason, fertilization treatment is needed to improve soil fertility status.
