Abstract

This study examines the management of teacher competence in implementing Android-based differentiated instruction within a vocational education context. Grounded in the increasing demand for technology-integrated and student-centered learning, this research aims to analyze (1) the managerial processes underlying teacher competence development, (2) the characteristics of Android-based differentiated instruction, and (3) the multidimensional competencies required by teachers. A qualitative descriptive design was employed, with data collected through in-depth interviews, participant observation, and document analysis involving school leaders, teachers, and students at SMK Negeri 2 Palopo, Indonesia. Data were analyzed using the interactive model of Miles and Huberman, including data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The findings reveal that teacher competence management operates through a systematic cycle of planning, organizing, implementation, and evaluation, supported by institutional structures and continuous professional development. Android-based differentiated instruction is characterized by personalization, interactivity, flexibility, real-time monitoring, and collaborative learning environments. Furthermore, teacher competence is identified as a multidimensional construct encompassing technological, pedagogical, evaluative, managerial, and motivational dimensions. This study contributes to the discourse on digital pedagogy by highlighting that effective technology integration is contingent upon strategic competence management within educational institutions. The findings offer practical implications for policy and practice in enhancing teacher capacity and advancing adaptive, inclusive, and technology-driven learning systems.

Abstract

This study concludes that the implementation of self-management strategies at MTs Al-Mawasir Padang Kalua constitutes a systematic and effective approach to reducing truancy behavior through the integration of goal setting, self-monitoring, self-evaluation, and reinforcement processes. These stages enable students to develop self-regulation, responsibility, and behavioral awareness, indicating a shift from externally imposed discipline toward internally driven control. The findings also reveal that successful implementation is not solely dependent on individual student effort but is strongly influenced by institutional support, including teacher guidance, counseling services, and collaborative school structures. However, several challenges—such as low student motivation, limited family support, and structural constraints within the school—highlight that self-management requires both internal readiness and external reinforcement to function optimally. Therefore, this study affirms that self-management represents a strategic and sustainable intervention for addressing truancy, provided that it is implemented through a comprehensive framework that integrates behavioral, motivational, and environmental dimensions within the educational context.

Abstract

The rapid growth of digital technologies and online platforms has significantly transformed marketing practices, leading to the increasing importance of social media marketing in contemporary business strategies. As scholarly interest in this field continues to expand, it becomes essential to understand the intellectual structure and thematic development of social media marketing research. This study aims to map the knowledge structure and identify key research themes within the social media marketing literature through a bibliometric analysis. Using data retrieved from the Scopus database, this research applies bibliographic coupling and network visualization techniques with the assistance of VOSviewer to analyze relationships among publications and identify major thematic clusters within the field. The findings reveal several interconnected research streams that highlight the role of social media in shaping digital marketing strategies, consumer engagement, brand relationships, and consumer decision-making processes. The results also demonstrate that social media marketing research is inherently multidisciplinary, integrating perspectives from marketing, digital communication, and business management. By mapping the intellectual structure of the field, this study contributes to a deeper understanding of the evolution of social media marketing research and provides a foundation for identifying emerging research directions and future research opportunities in digital marketing.

Abstract

Digital leadership has become increasingly important in Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SMEs) as firms face growing pressure to adapt to digital transformation, innovation demands, and changing competitive conditions. However, the literature on digital leadership in SMEs remains fragmented across related themes such as technology adoption, innovation capability, and business performance. This study aims to map the development of research on digital leadership in SMEs through a bibliometric analysis of Scopus-indexed journal articles published between 2021 and 2026. The dataset consisted of 453 English-language journal articles within the Business, Management and Accounting subject area. Descriptive analysis was conducted using Scopus Analyze Search Results, while thematic mapping was performed using VOSviewer through keyword co-occurrence analysis. The findings show that research on digital leadership in SMEs has grown rapidly, particularly after 2023, and has developed as an interdisciplinary and internationally distributed field. The thematic structure remains strongly anchored in digital transformation and digital technologies, while digital leadership appears as an emerging but increasingly strategic theme linked to innovation capability, competitive advantage, and organizational performance. The study suggests that the field is shifting from a focus on operational digital adoption toward a stronger concern with leadership capability and long-term competitiveness. These findings contribute to a clearer understanding of the intellectual structure of the field and provide directions for future research and practice.

Abstract

This study examines the sociological and juridical dimensions of community empowerment through the social forestry scheme implemented at LPHD Puwesu, East Luwu Regency, Indonesia. Forest management in Indonesia has long faced various challenges, including illegal logging, land conversion, tenure conflicts, and limited community access to forest resources. Social forestry has emerged as a strategic policy to promote sustainable forest management while improving local community welfare. This study aims to analyze the implementation of the social forestry scheme, identify supporting and inhibiting factors, and examine its contribution to community empowerment in the forest area. The research employed a qualitative approach with a case study design. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, observations, and documentation involving LPHD administrators, local government officials, forestry extension officers, and community members. The findings reveal that the social forestry program at LPHD Puwesu has strengthened community participation, improved legal access to forest management, and enhanced environmental awareness among local residents. However, the implementation still faces challenges related to limited human resources, institutional capacity, funding, and community understanding of sustainable forest management. The study concludes that social forestry serves as an important instrument for participatory and sustainable forest governance while also functioning as a mechanism for community empowerment and legal recognition of local forest management practices.

Abstract

Research on talent management and the academic workforce in higher education has expanded across multiple disciplinary areas, yet the literature remains conceptually dispersed and lacks an integrated bibliometric synthesis. This study aims to map the development, intellectual structure, and emerging themes of talent management and academic workforce research in higher education. A bibliometric review was conducted using the Scopus database, with data retrieved through the TITLE-ABS-KEY field and refined through a staged screening process. The final sample comprised 650 English-language journal articles published between 2015 and 2025. The analysis combined performance analysis and science mapping to examine publication trends, influential contributors, collaboration patterns, and thematic evolution. The findings show that the field has grown steadily, with an annual growth rate of 13.04%, indicating increasing scholarly attention to the strategic role of academic talent in higher education. The literature is interdisciplinary and widely distributed across journals, institutions, and countries, although author collaboration remains relatively fragmented. Conceptually, the field has evolved from traditional personnel and workforce concerns toward broader and more strategic themes, including leadership, job satisfaction, work engagement, well-being, workload, and institutional sustainability. These results suggest that talent management in higher education is increasingly understood as a multidimensional institutional strategy for attracting, developing, supporting, and retaining academic staff. This study contributes by providing a comprehensive intellectual map of the field and offering directions for future research on sustainable academic workforce management in higher education.
