Abstract

In Indonesia, the process of improving the quality of education is followed by several inhibiting factors, one of which is the world condition shrouded by the COVID-19 pandemic. This pandemic has an impact on the education sector in Indonesia by increasing the dropout rate. In general, this is rooted in the family's economic crisis during the pandemic. Many parents are unable to pay for education because their income is low and not commensurate with the high cost of education that must be spent. As for the potential of zakat in Indonesia, zakat can be an important instrument capable of being a solution to overcome educational problems if it is interspersed effectively. Therefore, this study intends to explore and attempt to measure the effectiveness of the distribution system of zakat funds on educational programs at one of the National Amil Zakat Institutions, namely LAZ Yatim Mandiri. This study uses a descriptive qualitative method, the techniques used to collect the data are observation, interviews and documentation which were analyzed by triangulation, using data reduction, data presentation, and data conclusions as well as strengthening the analysis with the effectiveness ratio calculation method. The results showed that the distribution system of zakat funds in the education program at LAZ Yatim Mandiri consisted of 6 stages, there are: 1) Determining the mustahik target for the Sa nggar program, 2) Recruiting teachers and determining the location of the sanggar, 3) Program socialization, 4) Recruiting students, 5 ) Acceptance of students, and 6) Monitoring of sanggar students. In addition, this study also shows that the LAZ Yatim Mandiri educational programs, which called the Sanggar Al-Qur'an and the Sanggar Genius, have been effective. This study indirectly shows that the level of effectiveness of the zakat institution program will increase the collection of zakat funds. Furthermore, the benefits of zakat can be felt by many people in need, especially during this pandemic.

Abstract

IAIN Bengkulu consists of four faculties. One of them is the Faculty of Economics and Islamic Business (FEBI). FEBI IAIN Bengkulu has a very small department and the only one in Bengkulu Province it has is the Zakat and Waqf Management study program. Of the 4 study programs at FEBI IAIN Bengkulu, only this study program has little interest. The purpose of this study is to explain the learning outcomes of graduates in the curriculum of the Zakat and Waqf Management Study Program. To Explain How SWOT Analysis Against CPL Zakat and Waqf Management Study Program. To Explain How the Planning and Development Strategy of Zakat and Waqf Management Study Program. This type of research is qualitative with research methods to find naturalistics carried out in natural conditions where the object develops as it is, research is not imitated and the existence of research on object dynamics is not influenced. So whatever is found in the field does not improve the data. That data is analyzed and then written in the research report. The results of the research are the Learning Outcomes of Graduates in the Zakat and Waqf Management Study Program Curriculum According to Users The graduates of the curriculum in the Zakat and Waqf Management study program have met the standards and some are in accordance with graduate users and some knowledge that needs to be adapted to graduate users including IT-based knowledge and applications, deepened Religious knowledge, especially Tahfis and about the ethics of a charity. SWOT Analysis of the CPL of Zakat and Waqf Management Study Program Graduates Based on Users Strategy is a comprehensive plan that integrates all resources and capabilities that have a long-term goal to achieve an expected goal. The Study Program can move quickly and correctly, when there is the ability to determine a new position with a new paradigm and orientation which is also called repositioning. The repositioning of the study program is carried out by assessing and reviewing the results of the SWOT analysis of the research results above from all strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats so that it can determine which ones must be improved and which ones must be strengthened according to the themes and components. Among the MAZAWA study program development strategies that will be implemented include preparing short, medium and long term strategic plans. The short-term strategic plans of the MAZAWA study program include evaluating the development draft of the Merdeka Learning curriculum for the Merdeka Campus

Abstract

Salah satu fungsi dasar zakat ialah dari fungsi ekonomi yaitu zakat dapat mengubah mustahik (penerima zakat) menjadi muzaki (membayar zakat). Perintah zakat selalu disandingkan dengan kewajiban sholat. Melihat pentingnya zakat maka harus ada pengelolaan yang baik didalamnya.  LAZNAS Baitul Maal Hidayatullah Gerai Ponorogo, yaitu sebuah Lembaga Amil Zakat Nasional yang dapat meraih penghargaan fundraising terbaik oleh IFI dan juga mendapatkan penghargaan pendistribusian terbaik oleh BAZNAS. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui strategi penghimpunan dana zakat di BMH Gerai Ponorogo dan untuk mengetahui hasil dari strategi fundraising yang telah dilakukan oleh BMH Gerai Ponorogo. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan menggunakan pendekatan studi kasus. Sumber data dalam penilitian ini adalah data primer dan data sekunder. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini adalah wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Setelah data-data yang diperlukan terkumpul, kemudian penulis menganalisis data tersebut menggunakan teknik analisis SWOT. Hasil dari penelitian ini diketahui bahwa BMH Gerai Ponorogo dalam strategi fundraising dari segi kekuatan (strengths) dalam hal marketing dengan pemanfaatan teknologi dan informasi dengan pendekatan media-media sosial, manajemen yang baik antara pusat dengan cabang BMH yang mampu merealisasikan program BMH dengan baik, melaksanakan brifing setiap hari sebelum melaksanakn tugas dan evalusasi setiap selesai melakukan tugasnya. Kelemahan (weakness) dari strategi fundraising dari SDM BMH karena beberapa pegawai ada yang tidak melanjutkan kerjanya disana dengan berbagai alasan lainnya, kelemahan lainnya yaitu selama pandemic corona muzaki BMH beberapa bulan ini mengalami penurunan dikarenakan lockdown Indonesia membuat muzaki tidak dapat kemana-mana. Peluang (opprtunities) dari fundraising BMH yaitu masyarakat ponorogo memiliki jiwa sosial yang tinggi, banyaknya lembaga diponorogo sehingga menjadi peluang  BMH itu sendiri, dalam membayar zakat muzaki dapat membayar di BMH mana saja walaupun bukan di kota nya itu sendiri. Ancaman (threat) fundraising dari kebijakan pemerintah di perubahan peraturan perundang-undangan zakat yang membuat BMH kembali menyesuaikan dengan peraturan perundang-undangan. Hasil yang telah dilakukan BMH Ponorogo menggunakan strategi menyentuh hati donator melalui door to door, mejemput dana, mengedepankan akhlak dalam bersosialisasi, memanfaatkan media elektronik, surat kabar, menyelengarakan event-event seperti lomba tahfidz, memanfaatkan media sosial seperti IG, FB WA, dan juga menerapkan menitip brosur ke beberapa warung makan dan hotel. Dari strategi tersebut terbukti bahwa dana zakat yang dihimpun BMH Ponorogo bertambah setiap tahunnya.

Abstract

Ekonom kontemporer yang mengikuti cara pandang ekonomi klasik Adam Smith, berkeyakinan bahwa sebuah perdagangan atau bisnis tidak mempunyai tanggung jawab social, dan bisnis terlepas dari etika. Untuk itu, tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana penerapan etika berdagang yang diajarkan oleh Rasulullah di Toko La Tansa Sport dan untuk mengetahui kesesuaian penerapan etika berdagang Rasulullah di Toko La Tansa Sport. Adapun jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian lapangan (Grounded Research). Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kualitatif deskriptif yang dilakukan secara deskriptif analisis dan menggunakan teknik observasi, dokumentasi, dan juga wawancara yang digunakan untuk mengumpulkan data. teknik analisisnya adalah model Miles dan Huberman. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa kegiatan berdagang di Toko La Tansa Sport menerapkan asas-asas etika yang diajarkan oleh Rasulullah seperti asas Shiddiq yang ditunjukkan dari cara Toko La Tansa Sport menanamkan prinsip penjualan yang saliim dan prinsip rasa takut dalam menipu, asas yang selanjutnya adalah asas Amanah yang juga ditunjukkan dari cara Toko La Tansa Sport menjaga dan menjamin kualitas barang yang akan dijual, kemudian adalah asas Fathanah yang juga dapat dilihat dari penerapan shalat berjamaah di setiap waktu shalat dan menghentikan aktivitas toko selama beberapa waktu, dan juga berbagai promo dan fasilitas yang disediakan oleh Toko La Tansa Sport, kemudian asas yang terakhir adalah asas Tabligh yang diterapkan Toko La Tansa Sport dengan membiasakan para staf dan karyawan untuk mejelaskan dagangannya sedetail mungkin tanpa ada yang dikurangi atau dilebihkan.            Kata Kunci: Perdagangan, Etika Rasulullah dalam Berdagang, Toko La Tansa Sport

Abstract

Internet is a global network that connects electronic media with other media. The conveniences offered by internet services have changed people's lives. It is what eventually led to the term of e-commerce/market-place as an online business.  Management has also become more thorough in determining its online business strategy, as there would be a lot of competition to increase customer satisfaction and loyalty. One solution to compete is to apply experiential marketing, which could stimulate customer experience to increase satisfaction and ultimately lead consumers to become loyal to a product or service. However, in consuming products as Muslim, we have to make sure what product we consume according to Islamic Principles. This paper aims to analyze the effect of experiential marketing on online business on Islam's consumption behavior, especially for the University of Darussalam Gontor for Girls collegian in Mantingan, Ngawi, East Java. The method used in this paper is multiple linear regression analysis, with a total sample of 342 respondents and the analysis tool uses Eviews7. This paper shows that the experiential marketing dimension consisting of sense, feel, think, act, and relate simultaneously has a significant influence on the principles of consumer behavior in Islam, which consists of the Syariah Principle, Quantity Principle, Priority Principle, Social Principle, and Environmental Rule. It is shown that online product and service providers can apply experiential marketing to increase customer satisfaction and loyalty.

Abstract

Implementing an effective waqf fundraising strategy management is essential. Waqf funds are needed by guardians or mutawalli in order to manage them productively. However, it is not easy to raise funds because of the non-obligatory status of waqf unlike zakat. Especially in today's contemporary era, the challenges are getting tougher. Although historically waqf has played a significant role in easing the burden on people in need, however in current conditions it must be managed strategically. This study purposed to identify the impact of implementingwaqf fundraising strategies in tazakka waqf institutions and finding various alternative strategies to be recommended for further implementation. This type of research is a field research that using a qualitative approach with a triangulation model. Data collection was obtained from observations, interviews and documentation collection related to the current situation. in the strategy analysis of this research using SWOT analysis, the results showed that the tazakka waqf institution has applied the theory of fundraising strategy proposed by Sargeant which divides the fundraising strategy into four strategies, namely; Dialogue fundraising, corporate fundraising, multichannel fundraising, donor retention and development. As for the results of strategy analysis by using swot analysis, this study resulted in eight recommended strategies to be implemented by tazakka waqf institutions.  This study can be a reference for waqf fundraising strategies in waqf-based educational institutions or waqf institutions. This study provides consideration for waqf institutions in choosing waqf fundraising models to develop waqf institutions in achieving the goals, vision and mission of the institution.

Abstract

According to Indonesian Law no. 11 of 2009 concerning welfare, social welfare is a condition for the fulfillment of the material, spiritual and social needs of these citizens in order to live properly and develop themselves so that they can carry out social functions. The birth of the Law of the Republic of Indonesia No. 41 of 2004 concerning Waqf which leads to empowerment of waqf, is one of the instruments in building the socio-economic life of the community. According to data released by the Indonesian Waqf Board (BWI), the number of donated land locations in Siman District is 147 places, with a land area of 12.70 hectares, covering 5.22 hectares that have been certified as waqf land and 7.47 hectares are not yet certified land. The number of donated land in Siman Subdistrict that has not been certified is more than that which has been certified. Siman subdistrict, Ponorogo was chosen as the place for research because of the large number of waqf lands and boarding schools whose management was not optimal in several places and this had an effect on the welfare of the community. This study aims to determine how much the potential and impact of the Management of Productive Land Waqf in Siman District on Community Welfare. The method used in this research is quantitative methods and data collection techniques using primary data (documentation and questionnaires) and secondary data (official documents of the Siman District Office of Religious Affairs, data from the official website of the Indonesian Waqf Board and from the Central Statistics Agency). The sampling technique was simple random sampling and data collection used a questionnaire method with a Likert scale. Data analysis used simple linear regression and data processing used SPSS 21 software. The results of this study indicate that the management of productive land waqf has a relationship with the welfare of the community. The results of this study indicate that the greater the potential of Productive Land Waqf Management, the greater the impact on Community Welfare. For now, the welfare of the community has only been affected by 18.1% by the management of the productive land waqf, while the sisanaya is influenced by other variables not examined in this study. Researchers suggest that the management of productive land waqf can be maximized.

Abstract

Especially in the city of Bengkulu, there are two types of universities. In this research, the main attraction is PTKIN Bengkulu State Islamic Institute and PTN Bengkulu University. Based on observations made by researchers, it gives an attraction that some students from Bengkulu University have very detailed consumer behavior towards halal products, while knowledge about the definition of halal products is not so deeply discussed in their lecture world. Meanwhile, there are several students from the Bengkulu State Islamic Institute who are already well-known for their universities based on the Islamic religion, but are still not very detailed in the selection of halal products. By using a quantitative approach method based on the type of primary data through observation techniques with a sample of 132 FEBI IAIN students and 132 FEB UNIB students in Bengkulu City. Based on the results of the t-test calculation, the t-value is 1.42. Furthermore, thet value iscalculated compared with the ttable, which is 2.01. Based on the results of tarithmetic in this study, it is known that tcount < ttable is 1.42 < 2.01, so there is no significant difference in the consumption behavior of halal products in students of FEBI IAIN Bengkulu and FEB UNIB, although the groups of students who come from different scientific bases namely from Islamic universities and the general public did not show significant differences in consuming the product.

Abstract

BAZNAS as a philanthropic institution in charge of collecting and managing zakat funds contributes to the state to be able to improve the quality of human resources (Human Resources) to achieve development targets, one of which is through planning JABAR CERDAS education programs as a utilization step to maximize the zakat mal funds that have been collected. The purpose of this study is to find out the utilization and optimization of appropriate and targeted zakat mal funds in the JABAR CERDAS Education Program of BAZNAS West Java Province. In the preparation of this thesis, the author uses a descriptive qualitative approach. The data sources used are primary data and secondary data. Research data collection techniques are carried out by observation, interviews, and documentation. The data analysis, techniques used in this study are qualitative inductive with data reduction, data presentation, and the last step is the withdrawal of conclusions. The result of this study is the utilization of zakat mal funds in the JABAR CERDAS Education Program of West Java Province, which is overall creative consumption. But in addition, the programs implemented are conventional productive in which scholarship recipients are given opportunities in the form of mentoring activities as a form of human empowerment efforts that are expected to change those who were original as mustahik, it will become muzakki. The utilization stage is included in the distribution of utilization. For the utilization pattern, it can be seen that the utilization pattern implemented by BAZNAS West Java Province is a contemporary (productive) pattern.Keywords: Utilization, Zakat Mal, Education

Abstract

Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) play an important role in the Indonesian economy. MSMEs account for nearly ninety percent of all Indonesian businesses. MSMEs, which account for nearly half of all businesses in Indonesia, have enormous potential to boost the Indonesian economy. However, MSMEs, particularly micro enterprises, face challenges in running their businesses. Capital is an issue that always occurs in MSMEs. Access to capital loans has always been a barrier in the operation of small businesses, particularly Micro Enterprises. To Adress this productive zakat funds are one type of Instrument can assist MSMEs in facing barier acces to fund. This study attempt to examine the effect of productive zakat on developing MSMEs and what factors can affect MSMEs' growth. The quantitative approach is used in this study, and the research method is SEM (Structural Equation Modeling) used as analysis of techniqal. The results of this study indicate that the variables of capital and human resources have a significant and positive effect on the development of MSMEs. while zakat funds have a significant and negative effect on mustahik capital and religiosity. This shows that if the productive zakat increases, mustahik capital and mustahik religiosity will decrease. The suggestion from this research is that monitoring of productive zakat distribution needs to be improved and it is hoped that it will be more selective in giving to mustahik.Keywords: Zakat, MSMEs, SEM
