Abstract

The purpose of this paper is to describe the background of the birth of transformational leadership, its development and its implementation in the Islamic education institution. Discussing the research conducted by several people to look for a new paradigm of ideal leadership behavior after feeling some of the unsatisfactory leadership behaviors. The new paradigm is transformational leadership. The method used to achieve the objectives of writing is literature study. General conclusions show that transformational leadership behavior arises and is recognized as the most ideal leadership theory to date,when compared to the transactional leadership theory and situational leadership that existed before. Transformational leadership includes 4 i, namely Idealized Influence, Inspirational Motivation, Intellectual Stimulation, Individual Consideration.

Abstract

Teacher certification is a program from the government, teacher certification is an effort from the government in improving teacher quality coupled with an increase in teacher welfare so that it is expected to improve teacher performance which will have an impact on improving the quality of education in Indonesia on an ongoing basis. Teacher certification is more specific for teacher welfare, improving processes and the quality of education outcomes, and increasing teacher professionalism. Therefore, it is important for the author to reveal the correlation between teacher certification and the existence, professionalism of teachers and improving the quality of education. From the findings of the author, First; There is no significant influence (relationship) between certification of teacher's existence. This is indicated by the results of the analysis of 06.00%, which means that the magnitude of the effect of variable teacher certification benefits on the existence of teachers is classified as very weak. Because teacher certification benefits are not the only variable that affects the existence of a teacher. There are other variables that also influence the existence of a teacher, including the personality and social aspects of a teacher. Second; There is a significant (relationship) influence between teacher certification on teacher professionalism. This is indicated by the analysis results of 31.90%. which means that the magnitude of the influence of teacher certification allowances on teacher professionalism variables is classified as strong enough to influence and predict teacher professionalism variables. Third; There is no significant influence between teacher certification on the quality of education. This is indicated by the results of the analysis of 00,000% or no influence at all. Which means that the magnitude of the effect of teacher certification benefits on the quality of education is very weak because, the quality of education is influenced by many other factors embodied in the 8 (eight) coverage of education quality standards, namely: graduation competency standards, content standards, process standards, education standards and education staff, management standards, educational funding standards, and educational assessment standards.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to know the use of the Snowball Throwing method in improving the result of fourth grade student learning at MI Al-Jihad Astana in thematic lesson theme 7 the beauty of Biotech in may Country of Brondong Lamongan Academic Year 2017-2018. The type of research data used in this study is the quantitative-qualitative approach (mexing method). The subjects of this study are class IV MI Al-Jihad Astana Brondong Lamogan Lessons year 2017-2018 amounted to 33 students. The techniques used in data collection are interview techniques, documentation, observation and tests. Based on the analysis and discussion it can be concluded that the use of the snowball Throwing method can improve the results of learning thematic lessons at MI Al-Jihad Astana Brondong Lamongan Lesson Year 2017-2018. This can be proven by the learning outcomes for each cycle. In cycle I, the average score of student learning test result is 67.73 the lowest value is 45.00 and the highest value is 90.00. It is known by comparing the pre-cycle values ​​with the Cycle I value, the test result where the Cycle value I is greater than the pre Cycle of the mean value, that is: 67.73> 55.30. While on the second cycle, the average value of the test is 75.91, while the lowest value was 55.00 and the highest value was 95.00. this can be known by comparing the value of the first cycle with the second cycle, the test results where the value of the second cycle test is greater than the first cycle of the average value of 75.91> 67.73. And in the third cycle it can be seen that the average value of the test results is 83.79, while the lowest value is 65.00 and the highest value is 100.00

Abstract

Mathematical subjects are indicated as subjects that are difficult and saturating and are also less attractive to many students. Teachers as educators are required to be able to have skills in making interesting classroom activities. Activities that can make students interested can be in the form of games. So the researcher raises the question in the form of how games containing elements of mathematics can stimulate students to learn multiplication operations and also how the use of the method of Jarimatika on multiplication of mathematics subjects can increase learning motivation of IV students of MI Miftakhul Ulum Slorok, Garum, Blitar. To answer the research formula, researchers used a qualitative research approach with the type of classroom action research in the form of a spiral cycle with activities including planning, action, observation, and reflection. Data collection techniques used are: (1) observation; (2) questionnaire; and (3) interviews; (4) documentation. Data obtained from actions are then analyzed. Qualitative data are analyzed qualitatively, while the data are quantitative, enough to use descriptive analysis and visual presentation. So the results of the research using the method of Jarimatika on multiplication of mathematics subjects in fourth grade students of MI Miftakhul Ulum sub-district, Garum, Blitar regency can improve student learning outcomes from the pre test results of only 43.75% to 81.25% in cycles I and 93, 75% in cycle II. Indicators of increasing student motivation can be seen from the increased enthusiasm and enthusiasm of students in participating in teaching and learning activities, there does not appear to be a feeling of laziness and fatigue, they always show joy and happiness during the lessons, and the curiosity they apply by always practicing and memorizing the use of the jarimatika method when they calculate multiplication.

Abstract

Class management or arrangement in class is a matter that really needs to be noticed by a teacher, because with good classroom management, in the form of setting a table chair, writing board, cabinets, bookshelves, student seating, students will be comfortable in the learning process. Interest in learning is an encouragement or desire in humans to engage in learning, both in school and outside of school management is a process of supervision carried out on all things involved in implementing policies and achieving goals. In general terms, management is the arrangement or arrangement of an activity.

Abstract

Studies Fiqh very important to lead all activities in this life, be it the relationship between man and the Creator and fellow human beings. To understand all the science, particularly on the subjects of jurisprudence cannot be separated from the act of reading. One of the methods that implement activities that read and activities to socialize are a method of Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition (CIRC). The main purpose of using CIRC in learning is to increase reading interest of students, help students improve reading comprehension, and improve learning outcomes is low. Objectives: 1) To determine the application of methods Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition (CIRC) on the subjects of Fiqh subject Infak and Sedekah grade IV-A at Islamic Elementary School Tarbiyatul Islamiyah Tenggur Rejotangan Tulungagung. 2) To know the improvement of learning outcomes of students of class IV-A with the adoption of Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition (CIRC) on the subjects of Fiqh subject Infak and Sedekah in Islamic Elementary School Tarbiyatul Islamiyah Tenggur Rejotangan Tulungagun. This research was conducted at the Islamic Elementary School Tarbiyatul Islamiyah Tenggur Rejotangan Tulungagung in March 28 to April 29, 2015. This type of research is classroom action research using two cycles of action. Each cycle includes planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The subjects of this study were students of class IV-A with 17 students consisting of 8 boys and 9 girls. Learning process using teaching methods Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition (CIRC). Methods of data collection using observation, testing, observation, interviews, documentation and field notes. Mastery learning students achieved if the student received grades of 70 or more. Results of the study are: the results of post-test on the first cycle and second cycle that mentions the existence of the progressive increase learning outcomes. Originally the average value of the initial test (pre-test) 66.47 and the posttest cycle I the average value to 70 with learning completeness percentage of 70.58%, which means that the learning completeness percentage is still below the minimum completeness criteria that have been determined, is 75%. In the next cycle, the second cycle there is an increase in learning outcomes with the average value becomes 82.23. Percentage on mastery learning students in the second cycle already meet the completeness criteria predetermined, is 100%

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to understand the Strategy Analysis and the Key to the Success of Islamic Education Institutions. This study discusses various types of strategy analysis that can be done in Islamic Education Institutions so that they become competitive, quality and successful Educational Institutions. The method used to achieve the objectives of writing is literature study and discussion with friends. Data was obtained from the results of the search and literature review of the strategies and keys to the success of Islamic Education Institutions. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded: (1) Definition of Strategy Analysis, namely careful action planning in achieving and evaluating the desired goals and common goals. (2) Strategy Analysis that can be done in Islamic Education Institutions, namely by way of External Environmental Analysis (ALE) and by analysis of Internal Environment (ALI). (3)One of the Strategic Analysis Models in Islamic Education Institutions is a SWOT analysis model, TOWS analysis or Ballance Scored Card.(4) For the success of Islamic education institutions it should be pursued by several layered strategies, from internal business, as well as external ones.

Abstract

History of Islamic Cultural lessons are lessons that are closely related to past events, so that in the learning process many teachers only teach SKI material by simply telling their students. Of course in teaching and learning activities, a student who is only given a story by his teacher over time experiences boredom in learning, therefore a teacher is required to be more creative, innovative and progressive in providing learning to students so as to create a learning that is fun and even impressive . Therefore, a teacher should or should be in a digital era like this, it's time to use the media in the learning process in class. learning media is very helpful for a teacher to deliver his material so that it is easier and more enjoyable for students to accept. As for the media that can be used in SKI MI learning, at least two of the learning media can be used, namely Visual media which is divided into visuals that are silent or not projected and motion or projected visual media. Whereas the second use of instructional media in learning MI SKI is audio visual media which can be in the form of historical films or documentaries on the History of Islamic Culture.

Abstract

Revolution of industrial 4.0 is requires education to meet. so that education can meet the needs of human resources in the future. The digitization of the education system requires teachers to have additional competencies namely digital competencies. Digital literacy for teachers is a necessity in using information and communication technology to assist teachers in carrying out effective and efficient teacher tasks. Strengthening digital literacy can be done for teachers by explaining, by use of information and communication technology in helping to carry out tasks as a teacher among others, by use of digital technology as an additional source of learning, by use of digital technology-based learning media, the provision of rapid information, school promotion, connecting to students, as well as the publication of work and information. In practice, strengthening digital literacy can be done in the form of training.

Abstract

This artcile deals to the motivation; learning and motivatioan on academic performance of students. It proceeded by defining the motivation as a general term applying to the class of drives, desires, needs, wishes, and similar forces initiated for students and teachers, in order to induce the students to act in desirable academically productive manner; leaning and learning achievement as the outcome of learning. It constitutes the extent to which a students has achieved their educatioanl goals. Determinants of teacher-learner interactions for better students’ academic performance were found to include.There are two different kinds of motivation as intrinsic motivation and extrinsic motivation, intrinsic motivation is the act of completing an activity for the pleasure of doing the activity Itself. Extrinsic motivation, on the other hand, is the act of completing an activity in order to receive some type of reward from another source. As a result of these definitions, researchers began to question the effects of the different kinds of motivation, and school became a widely used testing ground. The presence of intrinsic motivation produces many behaviors that result in school success like sustained interest in tasks, risk taking, and the conquering of new challenges. Different forms of extrinsic motivation tend to take attention away from the most important aspect of school; a child's learning. Rewards can undermine intrinsic interest in an activity, and even deter a person from returning to an activity later on. Teacher motivation provides the desire in students to learn. This is because learners are encouraged to leran, to express themselvess through answering questions, taking part in both individual and group assignments; and getting involved or committed in the learning process by acquiring ideas, skill and concepts for total development.
