Abstract

The role of teachers to achieve KKM in the affective, spikomotor, and cognitive domains. In the reality of education, many students are unable to complete the KKM. Because, teachers are not able to find and apply appropriate, consistent, and continuous methods in the learning process applied by the teacher. Where, the teacher focuses more on students who easily understand the subject matter. So that students who have difficulty understanding lessons are ignored and end up skipping school or going to class. The author describes the peer learning method as an approach in improving the abilities of each student in the affective, spikomotor, and cognitive domains during daily, semester, and national exams in achieving KKM. The author uses qualitative methods in gathering information through observation and the accumulated results of affective, psychomotor, and cognitive values. The author hopes that this paper can be a contribution for schools in Jayawijaya, Wamena.

Abstract

Every parent definitely wants the children to succeed in their life. However, most parents do not understand the true key of success. On the other hand, they are not able to accompany and educate their children to be success. The purpose of this study is to search the exposure of the Bible about the concept of success, the way a child raised by the parent or adults based on the examples from the Bible. The method used in this study is a literature review research and the exegesis of Bible. Based on the Bible success promised by God is a success in wealth and an ability to have wisdom needed to manage the daily problems. Besides, the important thing for a child to be success based on the exposure of the Holy Bible, is by reading, meditating and being careful to do everything written in the Scripture.

Abstract

This study aims to find the contribution of students 'perceptions about the teaching skills of PAK (X) teachers to students' interest in learning (Y1) class VII SMP Era Ibang Medan, second; the contribution of students' perceptions about the teaching skills of PAK teachers to the learning outcomes of PAK students (Y2) grade VII SMP Era Ibang Medan. Third: the contribution of students' perceptions about the teaching skills of PAK teachers to the interests and learning outcomes of class VII students of SMP Era Ibang Medan. The sample of this research is 130 people. To determine whether there is a relationship between independent and dependent variables, analyzed using the product correlation formula from Person's Moment. Based on the results of the research, the contribution of students 'perceptions about the teaching skills of PAK teachers to the learning interest of grade VII students of SMP Era Ibang Medan obtained a value of 0.382> 0.361, the contribution of students' perceptions to the teaching skills of PAK teachers on the learning outcomes of students in class VII SMP Era Ibang Medan was obtained. the value of 0.698> 13.040 and the contribution of students' perceptions about the teaching skills of PAK teachers to the interests and learning outcomes of class VII students of SMP Era Ibang Medan. Therefore, it is necessary to have a measured evaluation to see the skills of PAK teachers in teaching to increase student interest and learning outcomes.

Abstract

Write This research is a Classroom Action Research (CAR) which aims to see the results of PAK learning through the application of the Think-Pair-Share Technique Cooperative Learning Model Application. The subjects of this study were students of class VIII SMP Parulian 3 Medan with 30 students as respondents. The subject of study is Life of Gratitude. The research instrument was a test given to students as many as 11 questions for the first cycle and 15 questions in the second cycle. Each cycle is carried out with different materials according to the learning limits at school. Each cycle consists of a planning stage, an action stage, an observation stage, and a reflection stage. In the first cycle, there was an increase in student PAK learning outcomes, namely 46.39% with the incomplete assessment category. Whereas in cycle II, there was also an increase in student PAK learning outcomes, namely 84.88% with the complete assessment category. This means that the application of Think-Pair-Share Learning can improve SMP students' PAK learning outcomes.

Abstract

Teacher competence is one of the factors causing the creation of teaching effectiveness. An educator’s success effectively produces students who can take advantage of knowledge and lessons in everyday life. In the Sunday school commission, teachers who are competent in teaching are also needed. Even though the teaching staff or teachers who teach are not professionals, they should have quality teaching standards. The purpose of writing this thesis is to determine the extent of the influence of the competence of Sunday school teachers on the effectiveness of teaching children in the GPdI El-Shaddai church, Makassar. The author uses this type of quantitative research using a questionnaire and conducting interviews via telephone addressed to teachers, administrators, evangelicals in the GPdI El-Shaddai Makassar congregation. From the research that has been done, it can be concluded that: 1) The competence of Sunday school teachers greatly affects the effectiveness of children's teaching. 2) Increasing teacher competence is obtained through training and evaluation, which are held annually. 3) a Sunday school teacher must be a role model and must first provide a good and right example to his students. 4) teaching aids and study rooms, and other supporting media are needed during the teaching process.

Abstract

God is the God who wants to reveal Himself to humans. God also revealed what He wanted humans to do in the 10 Commanments. The law provides for the things that humans must do in relation to God and with others. The first law in human relations is the law concerning parents and children. Children must respect their parents. In fact, there are many events that show the fading of the values of respecting parents. This paper tries to reexamine the fifth law regarding respect for parents by analyzing Deuteronomy 5:16.  The analysis is done by looking for the meaning of the word "honor" and synthesizing several interpretations of the meaning of honoring parents.From this analysis it was found that through parents, a child is born into the world. Parents are God's representatives. The relationship between parent and child is the highest relationship in human relations. God gives orders for children to respect their parents. Respecting parents can be done in the form of submitting to parents, obeying parents and caring for parents in their old age. This has implications in the process of family education where parents are responsible for educating their children, children must be taught about things that God has done and submit to authority.

Abstract

The various problems related to children character and behavior are emerging in manydiscourses. Bullying, group fighting, moral violance, and crime are often involved children whether as the performers or victims. This phenomenon can not be separated to the existance of the family as the very first “school” for the childen. This research is conducted to see the corelation between the family congruity according to Colossians 3:18-24 and children’s social intercourse ethics. This research involved fith grade 50 students of Christian Elementary School of Kalam Kudus in Yogyakarta as the sample. The research found that there is a strong correlation between the family harmony and student’s social intercourse ethics. The parent’s example in managing relation between the family membersis a strong factor in shaping children’s social intercourse ethics, due to the fact that the children are good imitator.
