Abstract

The ineffectiveness of word-of-mouth marketing techniques and the low ability of partners (Cita Mandiri Women Farmers Group) in utilising digital media have made nutmeg products not optimally marketed. The service activity aims to improve the ability of partners to create promotional content so that they can do marketing through social media. Service activities are carried out in three stages, namely 1) The preparation stage by conducting observations and identifying partner problems. 2) The implementation stage by conducting training and assistance in creating promotional content and online marketing techniques through social media. 3) Evaluation stage. Involving the Wanita Tani Cita Mandiri group in community service activities with structured training programmes, ongoing mentorship, and partnerships with online communities, this group can develop digital skills, create more creative promotional content, and expand their market reach. With the implementation of this solution, Wanita Tani Cita Mandiri can optimise the potential of social media as a marketing tool, increase their income, and overall make a positive contribution in the economic and social empowerment of the local community. In conclusion, through collaboration, training, and innovation, this group can make social media-based promotional activities a driving force to achieve economic independence and sustainability.

Abstract

The problem faced in the Mbok Ndut Catering and Bu Sri Catering catering businesses is that there is no label on the packaging and does not have media as a promotion, so it requires rebranding the packaging design in the form of labels and promotion of the business on social media. The purpose of this community service activity is to provide solutions to the problems being faced. The method used is to provide training in the form of tutorials on how to manage Instagram accounts and how to operate the Google Maps application. The results of this community service are to help the two MSME players create a logo design, create an official Instagram account, create a content design for Instagram posts, create a packaging design in the form of labels, add the location of the Catering business address through the Google Maps Application, train or teach the two MSME players, manage Instagram by posting the menu that we provide with interesting content, and how to operate the Google Maps Application. Thus, in the future it can make it easier for the two MSME players to introduce their business to the wider community.

Abstract

Digital transformation in Industry 5.0 has become a driving force in moving companies to improve the quality of services provided to customers and ease of work. The company's needs in carrying out strategic work and policies cannot be separated from the use of systems to help manage company data. DC Mall rents out its locations to parties such as shopping centers, supermarkets, exhibition corridors, restaurants and electronics stores. One of the routine tasks in managing DC Mall is paying utilities and rent for each unit. Payments are made to the mall management every month. Efforts to develop an information system that can cover all parts of mall management, including finance, customer service, marketing and others. The aim of this activity is to implement an information system at DC Mall that is beneficial for employee and company performance. The new system is designed to cover the weaknesses of the previous system. This service activity, which includes observation, data collection, design, implementation and evaluation, was carried out for approximately three months, starting from November 10 to January 19 2024. Each member is responsible for making observations, surveying locations, collecting data, helping create information systems and training employees, and compiling service reports. Based on the results of the service, it can be concluded that the creation of the new DC Mall information system has been successful based on feedback from employees in operating and carrying out their duties.

Abstract

Cyber security is a crucial aspect in today's digital era, especially with the increasing use of electronic transactions in various sectors of society. Through a community service approach, this programme implements a series of counseling activities, and a cybersecurity awareness campaign in Sukun Sub-district. This activity aims to increase cyber security awareness and electronic transactions in Sukun Sub-district, Malang City. The methods used include seminars and distribution of educational materials. Evaluation was conducted to measure the effectiveness of the programme in improving the knowledge and behavior of the community regarding cyber security and electronic transactions. The results of the activity evaluation questionnaire showed a significant increase in community understanding and awareness of cybersecurity threats and steps that can be taken to protect themselves when conducting electronic transactions. In conclusion, the community service approach is an effective strategy in increasing cybersecurity awareness and electronic transactions in Sukun Sub-district, Malang City. It is hoped that this activity can make a positive contribution in creating a safer and more trusted digital environment for the community.

Abstract

The development of Financial Accounting Standards has changed in line with business development. On June 30, 2021 DSAK endorsed the SAK for Private Entities (SAK EP), which will be effective January 1, 2025 replacing the SAK for Entities Without Public Accountability (SAK ETAP). Accounting education has a role in the successful implementation of SAK in Indonesia. IAI West Java helped socialize the new SAK to SMK teachers throughout West Java. The aim of this activity is the accounting teachers are expected to get an overview of the SAK EP and obtain references of this topic. The socialization method includes lectures as a material delivery technique, questions and discussions as a form of increasing and developing the potential of professional teachers. Based on the results of the socialization participants' responses, it was found that the implementation and usefulness indicators showed a very good category, this shows that the socialization activities were carried out very well and this activity contributed benefits to participants in enriching accounting knowledge, especially related to the latest SAK. The aim of the activity has been achieved very well, namely increasing the teachers' knowledge about the latest information relating to the latest financial accounting standards (Private Entity SAK).

Abstract

The use of technology is the key to increasing effectiveness and efficiency in communication. One technology that is currently developing is chatbot, a computer program that can interact with humans via chat or text messages. Chatbots can speed up the flow of communication, simplify information retrieval, and increase the level of community involvement in various activities. Training in the use of ChatGPT Technology for writing correspondence is important considering the need for efficiency and quality in written communication, especially for Village PKK cadres. This training aims to improve cadres' ability to use ChatGPT technology to compose correspondence more effectively and efficiently. With this training, several significant outcomes were achieved. First, there will be an increase in productivity in the preparation of official and informal letters by Village PKK cadres, because the use of ChatGPT technology will speed up the process of writing and sending letters. Second, it can improve the quality of cadres' written communication, so that the message conveyed can be more clearly and effectively understood by the recipient. Lastly, the use of ChatGPT Technology can expand the scope of messages delivered to the people of Cimulang Village, Bogor, so that important information and education can be broader and more easily accessible to all residents. This training not only supports the efficiency and quality of communication but also strengthens relations between cadres and society as a whole.

Abstract

Indonesia is known as an agricultural region with a wide variety of agricultural and plantation commodities. Plantation commodities such as coffee plants are one of the superior products produced by farmers in Indonesia. Coffee plants grow in mountainous areas with relatively cold weather temperatures. Geographically, natural conditions support coffee plants to grow well even with limited technology. Community service activities aim to increase the competitiveness of coffee farmer groups through the application of technology. The community service activities were carried out in Mekarmanik Village, Cimenyan District, Bandung Regency, West Java Province. Service partner Tiwikrama Mukti Farmer Group is engaged in coffee plantations around Mekarmanik village. Coffee trees in this area are planted intercropped with rubber trees that grow on land owned by the PERHUTANI State-Owned Company. The method of implementing the service activities provides assistance with a set of grass cutting equipment and garden support equipment. This equipment can help farmers clean grass and weeds that often grow around the garden so that the growth of coffee plants can be better. In addition to providing agricultural equipment instruments, the service team provided simulations on the use of tools and counselling to farmer group partners regarding the market potential of coffee commodities. The results of community service activities in farmer groups after carrying out garden maintenance can increase coffee productivity. Coffee farmer groups also have a better understanding of coffee marketing circulation so that farmers obtain more optimal economic returns.

Abstract

Maps are complex data sets containing information on the location and objects of an area. Maps can show the distribution of various things on Earth, such as settlement patterns, mountains and others. ArcGIS is software that can be used in making village maps. Air Merah village is a village in Curup Tengah sub-district, Bengkulu, which until now has not had complete mapping for the area. The purpose of this service is to help present village data that can be accessed as spatial data information in planning development progress in Air Merah Village. Community service is carried out in stages of visiting the village head's office for administrative processes, conducting discussions with the team, collecting data through field surveys and interviews, making maps, and discussing the results of thematic maps, as well as holding a presentation to discuss the results of the map and handing over map printouts to village officials. This service activity was attended by lecturers, partners and students who were involved in all series of services both in the field and discussions, so as to produce village information maps. Based on the results of field surveys and modeling, Air Merah Village has an area of ± 10.7789 km2 and is located at latitude longitude -3.4801, 102.556365. Map making has received a positive response from the surrounding community and is expected to be able to provide location information and improve the inventory of Air Merah Village.

Abstract

The dynamics of students in high school currently face various strong and unique challenges related to understanding journalism and the use of social media tools in the millennial era. The use of computers is a real activity of Youth Catholic Community (YCC) which continues to be dynamic. The problems faced by Cenderawasih Catholic High School and Frater High School students in using social media are a lack of good and wise knowledge and understanding, still having an emotional nature or lack of self-control, and not using social media applications constructively. Student learning practices still require serious efforts to increase productivity to be targeted, effective and measurable. The training aims to educate school students in understanding journalistic concepts with 3 (three) main aspects in the use of social media in the millennial era, namely: cognitive (knowledge), affective (attitude), and psychomotor (skills) to produce creative social media content with character constructive. Training methods include pre-training (information questionnaire), training implementation (tutorial, practice, and presentation) and training evaluation (rubric questionnaire). The training has educated students in understanding journalistic concepts with 3 (three) aspects of using social media in the millennial era. The results of the evaluation of 30 students, namely: cognitive aspects of 18 people or 60.00%, affective aspects of 22 people or 73.33%, and psychomotoric aspects of 21 people or 70.00%, so it can be said that in general students have been able to understand the use of social media well good.

Abstract

The implementation of infrastructure and development of information technology (IT) services in educational environments such as schools and campuses plays an important role in supporting quality learning experiences. Regarding the introduction of IT infrastructure and service development in the educational environment. IT infrastructure covers various aspects such as providing hardware and software to meet educational needs, providing a reliable communications network, and ensuring data and information security. Services provided include training for teachers in the use of learning technology, technical support for students and staff, as well as implementation of related policies. With the right infrastructure, students and lecturers can access learning resources efficiently and interact in a technology-integrated learning environment. This service also plays an important role in increasing the technological literacy of students and teachers and ensuring the smooth operation of systems in educational environments. The services provided at schools can have a positive impact on improving the quality of education, preparing students to face the challenges of the digital world, and creating an inclusive and innovative learning environment. A holistic and coordinated implementation approach and ongoing support from all stakeholders will be key to achieving this goal.
