Abstract

This study aims to identify and describe the moral values that can shape the character of students in the folklore of the Torch War, and to find out how to instill character values in students.The method applied in this research is a qualitative method. The data collection technique in this study was carried out by conducting a literature study. The data sources in this study were journals and folklore of the torch war.Based on the results of the researcher's analysis, the folklore of the torch war contains several moral values contained in it, the value of responsibility, empathy for others, belief in tradition, courage, gratitude towards God, belief in the oneness of God. which can be implemented to shape the character of students. The formation of student character through the folklore of the torch war can be applied in various ways by reading folklore and then students analyze the story, so that indirectly students know the moral values contained therein, these values can later be used as guidelines in carrying out daily activities in environment, then it can be through activities before learning, after learning, and outside of learning, or by teaching good and bad things contained in the values contained in the folklore of the Perang Obor.

Abstract

The leadership style in his capacity as a leader will determine the success of improving the performance of teachers under his leadership. The purpose of this study was to analyze the form of using democratic leadership style to improve teacher performance at SD Negeri 1 Srobyong. This study uses a qualitative descriptive approach with a meta-analysis method. Data collection techniques by observation, interviews, tracing journals and documentation studies. The data analysis techniques in this research are data reduction, data presentation and conclusions. The results show that the democratic leadership style is seen to be more task and teacher oriented by creating a pattern of good relationships, making decisions with a deliberation system by involving their subordinates, efforts to increase teacher performance motivation, and schools are always open to receiving criticism and suggestions from their subordinates and together to find solutions to existing problems.

Abstract

This study aims to improve Civics learning achievement through the Problem-Based Learning method assisted by the Kahoot media class V Elementary School for the 2021/2022 academic year. The research was carried out in March 2022. The subjects in the study were fifth-grade students. The study used classroom action research procedures including planning, implementation, observation and reflection. Data analysis is qualitative data. The results of the student’s learning achievement in the initial test showed that of the 18 students, 10 were completed with a percentage of 55.5% and 8 were not completed with a percentage of 44.3%. The first cycle data showed that 13 students completed the percentage of 72.22% and 5 did not complete the percentage of 27.77%. In the second cycle there was an increase in 17 students who completed the percentage of 94.4% 1 did not complete the percentage of 5.55. Thus learning achievement increases.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the form of compliance and violation of the principle of language guidance in students of class V elementary school N 2 Jambu Mlonggo Jepara with a total of 25 students. In the school environment, students are expected to be able to control what is said.Because the school environment is where students study and form character. Language guidance becomes the basis for the assessment of a person's character. But in fact in the teaching process there are still some students who use disrespectful language to tem. This research method uses a qualitative descriptive approach. Research data collected in the form of recordings of dialogue and student consultation with fellow students and students with teachers. Data collection in this study used observation methods, recording techniques, and interviews. From the results of the study found that there are speech students who adhere to the maxim of wisdom, maximal generosity, maximal appreciation, maximality, maximality, maximal agreement, and maximsimistic. However, there are also student speeches that violate these maxims.

Abstract

This study aims to determine whether or not there is an increase in mathematics learning outcomes using visual media about fractions of fourth grade elementary school students. This study uses a qualitative research method with a classroom action research approach. The subjects of the research were the fourth grade elementary school students, totaling 16 students, consisting of 9 male students and 7 female students. The object of this research is the result of learning mathematics about fractions through visual media. The data collection instrument used a formative test sheet. The results of this study indicate that in the first cycle the score is 65 with an average grade of 56 so that classical learning completeness is 44%, while in the second cycle the score is 65 with an average grade of 80 reaching 100%. Based on the data obtained and the analysis from cycle I to cycle II, student learning outcomes have increased by 56%. Thus, it can be concluded that there is an increase in mathematics learning outcomes in grade IV elementary school by using visual media

Abstract

This study aims to determine the condition of parents/guardians of students who are not yet technology and information literate in helping children learn during the COVID-19 pandemic. The second goal is for parents to understand their role in assisting their children's learning during the COVID-19 pandemic. Researchers used quantitative methods. While the subject of this research is the parents of students at SDN 2 Ngabul Jepara. In collecting data, researchers used interviews, observations, and documentation. Then the data were analyzed, with two procedures, namely: a) data presentation b) drawing conclusions. The results of this study are a) Parents who do not really understand the development of technology and information find it difficult when accompanying and helping children in learning during the COVID-19 pandemic, so that the assistance is less than optimal. b) The role of parents in accompanying children when studying at home, namely, acting as a companion, motivating, facilitating, and helping to solve problems and being able to create a conducive situation for learning.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the low skills of students in writing narratives. This study aimed to describe the effectiveness of using Scrapbook media on the narrative writing skills of sixth-grade elementary school students. This research uses a descriptive qualitative research method. This study’s subjects were sixth-grade elementary school students of SD 1 Jepang. The sampling technique used is purposive sampling, which uses the entire sixth grade, which consists of 32 students. Data collection techniques using observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis techniques in research take place before in the field and during the field. The results showed that it was easier for students to write narratives using Scrapbook media. Interest in learning also increases with the use of these media. In addition, students' narrative writing learning outcomes also increased to an average of 75. From the results of this study, it can be concluded that Scrapbook media is effectively used in the narrative writing skills of sixth-grade elementary school students.

Abstract

Solar system material in the science learning process, some students have difficulty understanding the teaching material. So that their value is still below the KKM. For this reason, researchers conducted Classroom Action Research (CAR) using audio-visual media. The purpose of this study was to improve student learning outcomes by using audio-visual media. The object of this research is the sixth grade students of SDN 8 Suwawal, Jepara. Which has a total of 22 students consisting of 13 male students and 9 female students. This research was conducted in stages with 3 cycles. The results of this study an increase from each cycle, this can be seen from the average value of cycle 1 is 55.90 with a completeness rate of 31.8%. While the average value of 11 cycles is 70.9 with a completeness value of 59.10%. Then the average value of the cycle is 111.84.1 with a completeness value of 100%.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the low learning outcomes of language skills, especially the skills of writing paraphrasing poetry into elementary school prose. This study aims to obtain the results of the analysis of students' difficulties in writing skills. Paraphrasing poetry to prose for sixth grade elementary school students. The causes are, among others, the teaching methods of teachers who are less diverse, boring, lack of teacher skills that are not suitable for anticipating the difficulties experienced by students, students' lack of understanding of the diction contained in poetry, and lack of writing skills and developing story sentences. The analysis of the difficulties experienced by students in Paraphrasing material converting poetry into prose has never been done, so this affects the score of students who do not meet the KKM set by the school, which is 70. This observation uses a qualitative approach with data collection techniques carried out through observation, interviews and work results. Student. The object of this observation is a grade VI student at SD Negeri 3 Menawan and a document Paraphrasing poetry into prose written by a grade VI student at SD Negeri 3 Menawan. The number of students observed was 23 students. The result of this observation is to find out the students' difficulties in writing paraphrasing poetry to prose. These difficulties include students' difficulties in converting poetry into stories, conveying their thoughts into prose, assembling sentences, and the lack of understanding of the meaning of words in the poetry presented due to the lack of students' vocabulary. Based on the results of the analysis of students' difficulties in paraphrasing poetry, the teacher can determine the steps to teach Indonesian, especially Paraphrasing poetry to prose in elementary schools well.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the impact of changes in online andoffline learning patterns on the effectiveness of student learning in elementaryschools. This research is motivated by changes in online and offline learningpatterns on the effectiveness of elementary school students' learning due to thecovid 19 pandemic. Online learning is carried out by teachers without meeting inperson but students study at home by utilizing communication technology whichof course supervision and responsibility is not fully carried out by the teacher.This research is descriptive using a qualitative approach. The author is the maininstrument in obtaining detailed data. The object of this research is the studentsof SD Negeri 3 Karanggondang, Mlonggo District, Jepara Regency. The datacollections are through by interviews and questionnaires. The result of thisresearch is that online and offline learning patterns have an impact on theeffectiveness of student learning at SD Negeri 3 Karanggondang. Students ingeneral have difficulty participating in online learning because they are not usedto using technology. The students get the difficulties in accepting the materialsthat presented by the teacher. In online and offline learning, students becomedependent on their parents in doing assignments, so the teacher's assessmentcannot be a reference for learning achievement.
