Abstract

This study aims to find out the factors that cause children to become disgrafia and find out the services provided to disgrafia children in class III elementary school 2 Klepu Semarang. This research uses qualitative types and case study designs. The research sample was a special needs student in class III of Klepu State Elementary School 02 Pringapus District, Semarang Regency. The data collection methods used are interviews, observations, documentation and field records. The results of this study show that educational services provide several inclusion education programs to overcome children with learning problems which include the use of media that support children to be more interested in learning and also curriculum modifications carried out by classroom teachers along with special accompanying teachers. In addition, there are several factors that cause children to have learning difficulties due to the lack of attention that parents give to children. As well as the absence of communication between teachers and parents in overcoming difficulties in learning to write children.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to describe (1) the causes of difficulty in cursive writing in fifth grade students at MIN 1 Rembang; (2) the teacher's efforts to help the difficulty of cursive writing in fifth grade students at MIN 1 Rembang. This research is a descriptive qualitative type. Data collection techniques in this study used the interview, observation and documentation methods. The subjects of this study were fifth grade students at MIN 1 Rembang. Key research results that First, the causes of difficulty in cursive writing in fifth grade students at MIN 1 Rembang in the 2021/2022 academic year, including (1) cursive writing control control, (2) slow writing in cursive, (3) how to write does not follow the flow the right line. Second, the teacher's efforts in dealing with the difficulties of cursive writing experienced by fifth grade students at MIN 1 Rembang in the 2021/2022 academic year, namely by (a) the teacher providing direct guidance to students who have difficulty writing cursive, (b) the teacher providing an explanation. back for students who do not understand cursive writing, (c) teachers provide regular training so that students' writing skills can improve according to the application of writing, (d) teachers provide opportunities for those who have good skills in cursive writing to explain to their friends who cannot write in cursive, and (e) teachers can change learning strategies to be more creative.

Abstract

Reading skills are very important for students because the center of learning is reading. Various subjects and information that can be known and mastered by students through reading activities. When entering elementary school age, children are taught to read and write. In this case, children are required to improve their reading skills to obtain information. The purpose of this study was to find out the difficulties experienced by students in the Indonesian language subject in finding main ideas on the weather theme, the sub-theme of the influence of weather on human life in third grade elementary school, describing solutions to overcome difficulties in finding main ideas. The type of research used is a qualitative research type, with a case study research design. The subjects of this study were the third grade students of SD 2 Ngembal Kulon, totaling 15 people. In this study data collection using test methods, documentation, interviews, observation. Data analysis techniques from data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results showed that the causes of difficulty in finding the main idea were not understanding the meaning of the main idea, vocabulary that did not know its meaning and sentences were too long. Based on the results of the research and several other relevant studies, the solution to overcome the difficulty of finding the main idea of paragraphs for third grade students of SD 2 Ngembal Kulon is that teachers can optimize the use of media that can attract students' attention and change the use of methods or learning models that have been used so far to be more varied.

Abstract

This study aims to improve critical reasoning skills on the material of classifying print media discourse information in 5th grade elementary school students by using a project based learning model. The type of research used is Classroom Action Research through 2 cycles with the instrument used is a critical reasoning rubric. The research subjects were students of grade 5C at SDN Pati Kidul 01. This study showed that in cycle 1 the total score of students was 227 points with an average score of 9.46 or 47.3%. Furthermore, in cycle 2 the total score of grade 5C students at SDN Pati Kidul 01 increased to 346 points with an average score of 14.42 or 72.1%. Thus, the use of the project based learning model has succeeded in increasing critical reasoning skills in classifying information about printed media discourse for 5th grade students of SDN Pati Kidul 01.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to determine the speaking skills of first graders using the storytelling method, and to find out the factors that cause weak speaking skills of 1st grade students of SDIT AL Hikmah Mayong Jepara. The type of research that the researcher uses is descriptive qualitative, while the subject is taken using a purposive sampling technique with a total of 6 students. Researchers conducted classroom observations and teacher interviews, then classified students' speaking skills into three categories, namely high, medium and low. The results showed that there were 6 students who had high speaking skills, 12 students had moderate speaking skills, and 10 students had speaking skills. low. One of the factors that cause students to have high speaking skills is that students have the confidence to tell stories and students are often invited to communicate by their families when at home, while the factors that cause these students to have moderate speaking skills are students already have self-confidence, but students do not fluently with the pronunciation of the sentence, it is because students are not used to speaking well. And the factors that cause students to have low speaking skills are students are shy and feel afraid to tell stories in public places

Abstract

This study aims to describe the Quizizz  media as a learning evaluation application and improve learning evaluation results. This classroom action research was conducted in three cycles with one learning meeting in each cycle. Each cycle consists of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. Every meeting, students work on learning evaluations through quizzz. The research subjects were 15 students of class V SD 3 Karangampel Kaliwungu Kudus. The results showed that Quizizz  is a learning media for learning evaluation activities that make students feel motivated to do evaluations. Learning outcomes are shown from the increase in Quizizz  results. In the first cycle, the number of students who completed was 47%. The results increased in the second cycle to 73% and in the third cycle the students' completeness reached 87%. Students are more motivated to be able to do quizzz so that learning outcomes increase.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of the principal as a coach in the implementation of the TIRTA coaching model to improve teacher professionalism in Purwodadi District, Grobogan Regency. This study uses qualitative research with a case study approach. The study was conducted in Purwodadi District, Grobogan Regency with informants of principals, supervisors, teachers, and administrative staff. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and document analysis. Data validation techniques used triangulation of time, sources, and methods. The results of the study indicate that principals in Purwodadi District have played an active role as coaches in implementing the TIRTA coaching model. The implementation of this model has a positive impact on improving teacher professionalism, including improving pedagogical competence, motivation, and teacher performance. However, there are several challenges in the implementation of the TIRTA coaching model, such as limited time and resources. This study suggests the need for increased support and training for principals as coaches to optimize the implementation of the TIRTA coaching model in improving teacher professionalism.

Abstract

This study aims to apply the snakes and ladders game media that can overcome the lack of PHBS (Clean and Healthy Living Behavior) skills, especially washing hands with soap and sorting waste in mild mentally retarded students at SLB Idayu 1 Malang. This research method uses experimental research with a one group pretest-posttest design, namely (1) pretest (2) treatment (3) posttest. Data were collected through the results of the pretest and posttest. The data analysis technique used a hypothesis test, namely the Wilcoxon test. The results concluded that there was an average value of all mentally retarded students in the pretest and posttest of 49.00 and 89.00. Thus, it can be said that the snakes and ladders game media has an effect on increasing PHBS skills in mild mentally retarded students at SLB Idayu 1 Malang.

Abstract

This study aims to (1) develop Pop-up Cerbel learning media (2) determine the feasibility of Pop-up Book Cerbel learning media with intrinsic elements. This research design uses the ADDIE model. The place of this research was carried out at SD 04 Karangbener with the research subjects being grade IV students with a total of 17 students. This research was conducted in April-May 2024. Data collection techniques used observation, interviews, teacher and student responses and documentation. Researchers used pretests and posttests to determine the level of media effectiveness. The types of data in the form of qualitative and quantitative data were analyzed to obtain the product assessment feasibility category. The results of the study showed that first, the Pop-up Book Cerbel learning media with intrinsic story elements had been developed, second, the Pop-up Book Cerbel learning media received a feasibility score of 86.1% based on the results of the media expert validation test. Thus, the learning media in the form of Pop-Up Book Cerbel for grade IV passed the feasibility test and was used as a learning media that could improve the understanding of grade IV students at SD 04 Karangbener.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to describe the application of the inquiry method in improving the learning outcomes of Class IV Science Students Semester 1 SDN 3 Karangasem, Wirosari District, Grobogan Regency, Academic Year 2023/2024. This research method is a classroom action research with a research design referring to the Kemmis Mc. Taggart Model which is divided into 4 stages, namely: planning, implementation of actions, observation, and reflection. The types of data used are quantitative data and qualitative data. This implementation was carried out in two cycles and two meetings each. The subjects of this study were class IV 1 students of SDN 3 Karangasem. The research instruments were the results of the Science assessment, observation, interviews, and documentation. Data collection techniques include interviews, observations, documentation and test techniques. The results of the study showed that by using the inquiry method there was an increase in the learning outcomes of Science Students in Chapter 2 of the Form of Matter and Its Changes. In cycle I, the average score reached 54.34, which was categorized as still unsuccessful, while in cycle II the average score reached 78.26.
