Abstract

This study examines the effectiveness of mediation in resolving breach of contract disputes arising from loan agreements secured by land title certificates. The primary focus of this research is to analyze the impact of mediation on both disputing parties and to identify the legal implications of the mediation outcomes. The methodology employed is a normative legal approach, supported by descriptive-analytical analysis of primary data in the form of legal regulations concerning mediation and default cases, as well as secondary data obtained from journals, books, and recent legal articles. The findings indicate that mediation is an effective alternative dispute resolution method, as it reduces costs, time, and the potential for damaged relationships between the parties. Furthermore, the role of the mediator as a neutral party is proven to be crucial in fostering a conducive atmosphere and assisting the parties in reaching a fair agreement. However, the effectiveness of mediation can be hindered by the public's lack of understanding of mediation procedures and the limited skills of mediators. Therefore, this study recommends improving the quality of mediators through continuous training and enhancing public legal awareness so that mediation can become the primary option for resolving breach of contract disputes.

Abstract

The development of digital platforms has made social media an important marketing tool that plays a crucial role in the success of a business. One of the features that attracts consumers is TikTok live streaming, which enables real-time interaction between sellers and buyers online. This study aims to analyze the impact of TikTok live streaming on increasing consumer purchase intention. Using a qualitative method, the research collects data through interviews conducted with active users of TikTok live streaming, as well as an analysis of the content created by sellers. The results of this study reveal several key factors that influence consumer purchase intention, namely real-time communication conducted by the seller, delivery speed, and ease of obtaining discounts and attractive promotions. Respondents are interested in shopping during live streaming due to several main factors, such as the seller's interactive communication style, clearer product displays thanks to live demonstrations, and the sense of urgency created by exclusive promotions and limited stock. Additionally, trust in the seller also increases through real-time interactions, where consumers can ask questions and receive immediate answers before making a purchase decision. This research provides valuable insights for business owners on strategies that can be implemented in live streaming, particularly in building audience engagement and encouraging purchase decisions more effectively.

Abstract

Leadership plays a strategic role in determining organizational effectiveness. Amid increasingly complex and dynamic organizational environments, awareness leadership has emerged as a contemporary leadership approach that emphasizes self-awareness, empathy, ethical consciousness, and meaningfulness in leadership practices. This study aims to examine the extent to which awareness leadership contributes to organizational effectiveness, particularly in fostering a healthy, productive, and sustainable work culture. A Systematic Literature Review (SLR) method was employed to synthesize and analyze relevant peer-reviewed studies published in reputable international journals. The findings indicate that awareness leadership has a significant and positive influence on organizational effectiveness through several interrelated mechanisms. First, it enhances leaders’ self-awareness regarding organizational vision, values, and strategic goals, enabling more reflective, ethical, and aligned decision-making. Second, awareness leadership strengthens interpersonal relationships by promoting empathy, authentic communication, trust, and collaboration, which in turn improve employee engagement, psychological safety, and organizational commitment. Third, this leadership approach facilitates the development of an adaptive, inclusive, and sustainability-oriented organizational culture that supports continuous learning, innovation, and long-term resilience. the review also reveals that empirical research on awareness leadership remains limited, with a predominant focus on conceptual and qualitative studies. This highlights the need for future research employing quantitative and mixed-method approaches to strengthen empirical validation and explore cross-cultural and sectoral variations. Overall, awareness leadership represents a promising paradigm for enhancing organizational effectiveness through human-centered, values-driven, and sustainable leadership practices.

Abstract

This study examines the application of Artificial Intelligence (AI), specifically Natural Language Processing (NLP), as a strategic tool in reviewing government procurement contracts to mitigate legal risks. Manual contract review processes are often inefficient, prone to human error, and unable to keep up with the volume and complexity of government contracts. Using a normative-judicial legal research method, the study analyzes how AI integration can enhance legal certainty, efficiency, and accountability in public procurement. Through document digitization, standardized contract formats, and audit trail systems, AI can identify ambiguous or risky clauses, verify compliance with regulations, and provide recommendations supported by legal data and precedents. The study also investigates the current legal framework in Indonesia, identifying gaps that hinder AI implementation in administrative practices. While the ITE Law and Presidential Regulations offer a foundation for digital systems in governance, there is still no specific regulation governing AI use in legal decision support. Comparative insights from the UK, US, EU, and Morocco show that AI has improved review accuracy, reduced processing time, and strengthened public sector integrity, although concerns over transparency and algorithmic accountability persist. The study concludes that the integration of AI into procurement contract management offers significant potential for bureaucratic reform and risk mitigation, but requires robust legal frameworks, clear boundaries of responsibility, and institutional readiness. With adaptive policy support, ethical oversight, and inter-agency collaboration, AI can serve as a transformative instrument for enhancing good governance, preventing legal disputes, and protecting public officials in the execution of procurement responsibilities.

Abstract

Seaweeds are the top aquaculture species produce in the Philippines, where Region IV-B including Occidental Mindoro has been the 2nd top producers in 2018. Therefore, the main focus of this study is to generate new ideas about the market trends and demand for seaweeds which in turn will be beneficial in the creation of new products and innovation. This research was conducted in Occidental Mindoro including 100 farmers and 384 consumers of seaweeds and carefully selected using random sampling. A two-fold survey instrument and a descriptive method were used in collecting and analyzing the data. There is a downturn with the production volume of some farmers of about 10-20% in recent years because of the changes or fluctuations in market demand and usually producing 1-5 tons. While, majority of the farmers are cultivating less 100 kgs. for each species namely: Eucheuma denticulatum (spinosum), Kappaphycus striatum (vanguard), Kappaphycus alvarezii (cottonii) using just one farm site. The farmers refused the adoption of technology due to limited financing; and development of seaweed-based products are occasionally done. Fluctuations in the selling price is experience in a very frequent manner and has vastly been acknowledged seasonal production variations as an influencing factor. The major strategy used in seaweeds is competitive pricing, allowing this sector to take advantage within the competition and only few are engaged in product innovation. The demand analysis implies that there is a promising and interesting market for product development and innovation focusing on the seaweed products that are fresher, nutritious, and compliant to food safety regulations. Based on the findings, it is suggested that the seaweed farmers shall adopt technology and be engaged in training programs that supports environmental sustainability; and be involved in product development and innovation addressing the health benefits and compliance with food safety regulations.

Abstract

The Philippines is vulnerable to environmental impacts, from the destruction of homes, disruption of livelihoods, displacements, and death, prompting more studies of its effects in Environmental psychology. The study’s results are important in understanding the involvement of the relationship among climate anxiety, pro-environmental behaviors, perceived self-efficacy, and perceived collective efficacy among individuals who are most impacted by climate change. This study explores the mediating role of Perceived Efficacy in the relationship between climate anxiety and pro-environmental behaviors of 312 Filipinos aged 18 to 30 through an online survey. A positive correlation was found between climate anxiety and pro-environmental behaviors in both private and public spheres. In the mediation analysis, higher anxiety resulted in results of increased perceived efficacy, showing an increased involvement in pro-environmental behaviors among young adult Filipinos. This highlights the significance of perceived efficacy in promoting environmental actions among young adult Filipinos, suggesting an understanding of possible measures to alleviate the effects of climate change for young adult Filipinos affected by the health impacts and climate-related fatalities.

Abstract

Early childhood education curriculum implementation is complex and localized, impacted by teachers' attitudes, cultural backgrounds, and professional judgment. This study fills gaps in our knowledge of how early childhood teachers alter, implement, negotiate, and incorporate hidden meanings into curriculum policies in various educational settings. We used a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) to examine 20 Scopus-listed peer-reviewed articles from 2019 to 2025 on early childhood education curriculum implementation. This study found themes synthesis examined teacher adaptation and operational curriculum (17 studies), enactment of official curriculum (18 studies), hidden curriculum (14 studies), and negotiated curriculum and teacher agency (17 studies). The results reveal that it will not be simple to put the curriculum into action. Instead, local requirements, cultural values, and teachers' teaching ideas shape it in a dynamic and intentional manner. Teachers have influence because they adapt content to students' needs, base learning activities on classroom activity, and include moral, ethical, and social elements in hidden curricula. It provides a complete picture of how early childhood and primary school teachers applied the curriculum in practice, adding to research.
