WAHATUL MUJTAMA: Jurnal Pengabdian Masyarakat is a scientific multidisciplinary journal published by Pusat Penelitian dan Pengabdian Masyarakat (P3M) Sekolah Tinggi Ilmu Islam dan Bahasa Arab (STIBA) Makassar. It is in the national level that covers a lot of common problems or issues related to community services. The aim of this journal publication is to disseminate the conceptual thoughts or ideas and research results that have been achieved in the area of community services. WAHATUL MUJTAMA: Jurnal Pengabdian Masyarakat contains various activities of the teaching staff and students in Sekolah Tinggi Ilmu Islam dan Bahasa Arab (STIBA) Makassar in handling and managing the various potentials, obstacles, challenges, and problems that exist in society. Implementation of service activities also involve the participation of the community and partners. Service activities are organized into an activity aimed at improving the welfare of society. In the following year of publication, the journal is going to publish twice a year (June and December). Any interested author could submit the manuscript following the submission guidelines. Please read these guidelines carefully. Authors who want to submit their manuscript to the editorial office of WAHATUL MUJTAMA should obey the writing guidelines. If the manuscript submitted is not appropriate with the guidelines or written in a different format, it will be REJECTED by the editors before further reviewed. The editors will only accept the manuscripts which meet the assigned format. Every article that goes to the editorial staff will be selected through Desk Review and Initial Manuscript Evaluation processes by Editorial Board. Then, the articles will be sent to the Mitra Bebestari/peer reviewer and will go to the next selection by Double-Blind Peer-Review Process. Further details on reviewing policy and processes are available on submission guidelines.

Abstract

The purpose of the STIBA Makassar Real Work Lecture (KKN) Batch V is as a form of community service which is a pillar of the Tri Darma of higher education, especially the development of the Al-Qur'an Learning group in Wakorambu village as the main program. The PkM implementation method begins with a field survey and then formulates community needs using the SOAR analysis method, after the analysis was carried out, it was found that a very urgent need was found, namely the development of the TPA group in Wakorambu village. The development of the Wakorambu Village Al-Qur'an Learning was carried out well in accordance with the expected goals.

Abstract

The purpose of implementing this KKN is to provide religious guidance to the local community. The method of implementing the Community Service Program begins with observing the condition of the community using SOAR analysis adjusted to the moment of the month of Ramadan which then resulted in several programs including:(1) Teaching the Qur'an with the Dirosa method; (2) TPA development; (3)10 days of memorizing the Qur'an; (4) Taklim Muslimah Weekly; and (5) Training of the corpse execution. All of these programs were warmly and enthusiastically welcomed by the local community and succeeded in bringing about the desired changes. So that even though the KKN has ended, there is a change in the attitudes and behavior of people who are more religious, as well as the ability to read the Qur'an is getting better.

Abstract

One of the Islamic boarding schools located in Jeneponto Regency, South Sulawesi, is the Ulul Albaab Islamic Boarding School. Ulul Albaab Islamic Boarding School focuses on fostering memorization and teaching of the Koran. The purpose of the STIBA Makassar Community Service Study Program batch V is as a form of community service which is a pillar of the Tri Darma of Higher Education in Indonesia. The method of implementing community service at the Ulul Albaab Islamic Boarding School begins with mapping the problems and needs of the Islamic boarding school using an instrument that is made in a simple way, namely SOAR analysis. Class V STIBA Makassar KKN students who are placed in Jeneponto Regency have carried out several work programs to improve the quality of human resources, especially students at the Ulul Albaab Jeneponto Islamic Boarding School. Among the work programs are the 10 Days of Ramadan Memorizing the Koran, Teaching Arabic, and Spreading Masks. Activities 10 Days of Ramadan Memorization of the Koran is PP's flagship program. Ulul Albaab Jeneponto. The activity aims to increase and strengthen the memorization of the activity participants, as a means for participants to take advantage of the time in the month of Ramadan by memorizing the Koran. The results of the study were 2 students memorized 2 juz, 2 students memorized 1 juz, and some participants managed to memorize half a juz and the formation of 5 tahfiz groups, 5 Arabic language groups from among the students.

Abstract

Broadly speaking, based on public opinion and the phenomena encountered, building an Islamic society requires the quality of material and presentation of actual khotbah. Moreover, in Batu Merah Village, Sirimau District, Ambon City, preachers are needed in filling out the Friday sermon schedule. Because of the scarcity of preachers, in the end many preachers tend to deliver khotbah with only scripts. The manuscript is then only read without paying attention to the context and conditions of the congregation. In the end, what happened was that the Friday sermon was only carried out as a ritual – a formality. Even though the momentum of Friday worship is very important to foster the spiritual quality of society. The Friday Sermon momentum is an opportunity to strengthen people's faith and beliefs, as well as directing them to adhere to Islamic teachings and Shari'a more firmly. Therefore, an actual Friday Sermon is needed that is oriented to the needs of the congregation. Especially on motivation in studying religious teachings. This activity is carried out to contribute to the spiritual development of society. Activities carried out with the lecture method. Where the congregation of al-Burhan mosque, Batu Merah Village numbered more than 100 people. The results of this activity can be seen by the condition of the congregation who are solemn and calm listening to the sermon. As well as testimonies from congregations who give appreciation to be able to develop it in other mosques.

Abstract

The Quran is a very perfect human guideline, because it regulates all aspects of human life, both worldly life including very small things and the afterlife. The Quran is an eternal book until the end of time as well as studying it. This paper aims to analyze the Quran learning during a pandemic in Kota Kefamenanu District, North Timor Tengah Regency. The Quran learning during the pandemic was divided into two, namely learning at the Al-Muhajirin Mosque TPA and learning the Quran for teenagers at home. This activity is carried out to practice knowledge and be willing to devote oneself for the benefit of humanity in general and the people of Kefamenanu City in particular. Even though independent KKN is carried out separately, it has very high enthusiasm. This Quran learning activity was carried out in the City of Kefamenanu at a mosque and private house, the face-to-face teaching and learning process ran smoothly until it was finished even in the midst of a pandemic. Parents also feel very happy because even during the pandemic their children can still study well and are not far from their respective homes so that they can be monitored.

Abstract

The purpose of implementing this KKN is as a form of community service by providing Islamic guidance and enlightenment to the residents of the Moncongloe Village, Moncongloe District. The method of implementing the KKN program begins with observing the condition of the community using SOAR analysis which then produces work programs and activities including: (1) Seminar on Socialization of Work Programs; (2) Signing of MoU on Cooperation in Religious Development; (3) Al-Qur'an teaching using the Dirosa method; (4) TPA development; (5) Teaching in elementary school; (6) Development of Mosque Youth; (7) Social Services; (8) Taklim Week on Islamic Materials; (9) Learning Police Taklim; (10) Lightning Islamic Boarding School; (11) Sole Children Festival; and (12) Tabligh Akbar Welcoming Ramadan. All of these programs were welcomed with great enthusiasm by the local community and succeeded in bringing about the expected changes. So that even though the Community Service Program has ended, changes in the attitude and behavior of the community's human resources are seen to be more religious in the religious field.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to reveal several strategies carried out by Makassar STIBA KKN students to increase the religious value of the residents of Bonto Marannu Village, Moncongloe District, Maros Regency, South Sulawesi. The method of implementing the KKN program begins with field observations of the conditions of the local community as an initial approach using SOAR analysis adapted to the moment of the month of Ramadan which then produces several religious programs including: (1) TKQ-TPQ Learning and Tahfiz Weekend; (2) Al-Qur’an Learning Dirosa Method; (3) Taklim Muslimah and Muslimah Grand Recitation; (5) Funeral Management Training; (6) Tabligh Akbar and Iftar Together. All of these programs went well with the enthusiastic support of the local community and succeeded in bringing about the expected changes. So that the results of the KKN work appear to be measurable from changes in attitudes and behavior of people who are more religious, in the form of enthusiasm for attending taklim and science assemblies, building muamalah and better communication with fellow citizens, as well as the ongoing commitment to continue to participate in the program that will be handled by Muslimah Wahdah Maros.

Abstract

The Community Service Program (KKN) Batch V of STIBA Makassar students aims to increase Islamic knowledge and religious skills in the people of Bonto Bunga Village, Mocongloe District, Maros Regency. Implementation of activities begins with mapping problems and needs using SOAR analysis. After analyzing the problems and needs, work programs are then prepared according to the needs of the community as a form of community service (PkM). The stages of PkM activities include: the observation stage, the preparation stage, the implementation stage, the mentoring stage, and the evaluation stage. Some of the programs/activities that have been successfully implemented are: Al-Qur'an Teaching (Kindergarten/TPA, Youth, and Adult Levels), Teaching Activities in Schools, Spreading Al-Qur'an, and “Tabligh Akbar” Preparation for Ramadan. From these activities, the enthusiasm and support from elements of the village government, the majelis taklim, and the community for the activities was quite large. The community feels the benefits after participating in this KKN program, including an increase in knowledge, insight and religious skills. The sustainability of this program is in the form of further coaching for the community, especially for fathers and youth.

Abstract

The objective of the STIBA Makassar Community Service Program Batch VI in Moncongloe Village is to realize community service which is a pillar of the Tri Dharma of Higher Education. The method of implementing this activity is to first map the problems and needs using the SOAR analysis instrument. After analyzing the problems and needs, a work program is prepared according to the needs of the community. The work programs that have been successfully implemented are Teaching TPA/TPQ, Teaching Arabic for Children, Clean Friday and Community Service and Tablig Akbar Welcoming the Month of Ramadan. All of these programs this work has been implemented and shows good initial results and will be continued by MWC Moncongloe Maros district.

Abstract

Mamampang is one of the areas in Gowa Regency, South Sulawesi, which geographically means an area that is quite far from urban areas. With these conditions, this area really needs assistance in community development, especially religious development. To help solve this problem, STIBa Makassar held Real Work Lecture (KKN) activities at this place as part of actualizing the role of STIBA students by compiling coaching programs for village communities which is also part of one of the pillars of the Tri Dharma of Higher Education. The method of implementing the community service program begins with mapping community problems and needs using SOAR analysis. After the analysis was carried out, the main program was prepared in the form of teaching TK/TPA, Dirosah Teaching, Implementation of preacher training, Friday preaching and also carrying out teaching programs in schools or Islamic boarding schools. All of these programs have been running well and have shown initial results in accordance with the stated KKN objectives.
