WAHATUL MUJTAMA: Jurnal Pengabdian Masyarakat is a scientific multidisciplinary journal published by Pusat Penelitian dan Pengabdian Masyarakat (P3M) Sekolah Tinggi Ilmu Islam dan Bahasa Arab (STIBA) Makassar. It is in the national level that covers a lot of common problems or issues related to community services. The aim of this journal publication is to disseminate the conceptual thoughts or ideas and research results that have been achieved in the area of community services. WAHATUL MUJTAMA: Jurnal Pengabdian Masyarakat contains various activities of the teaching staff and students in Sekolah Tinggi Ilmu Islam dan Bahasa Arab (STIBA) Makassar in handling and managing the various potentials, obstacles, challenges, and problems that exist in society. Implementation of service activities also involve the participation of the community and partners. Service activities are organized into an activity aimed at improving the welfare of society. In the following year of publication, the journal is going to publish twice a year (June and December). Any interested author could submit the manuscript following the submission guidelines. Please read these guidelines carefully. Authors who want to submit their manuscript to the editorial office of WAHATUL MUJTAMA should obey the writing guidelines. If the manuscript submitted is not appropriate with the guidelines or written in a different format, it will be REJECTED by the editors before further reviewed. The editors will only accept the manuscripts which meet the assigned format. Every article that goes to the editorial staff will be selected through Desk Review and Initial Manuscript Evaluation processes by Editorial Board. Then, the articles will be sent to the Mitra Bebestari/peer reviewer and will go to the next selection by Double-Blind Peer-Review Process. Further details on reviewing policy and processes are available on submission guidelines.

Abstract

Muslimah Event is one of the routine activities which is carried out once a year by STIBA Makassar students. The activity with the theme Building Muslimah Character with the Qur'an and Arabic in the Millennium Era aims to restore people's love for the Qur'an and Arabic. This activity was enriched by a series of various competitions. This event took place at the Grand Diamond Ballroom by Myko Makassar because it is a strategic place and is in great demand by Muslim women in particular. This activity was carried out in collaboration with three SMEs; 1) Da'wah Department of the Women's Student Executive Council (DEMA); 2) Memorization Division of UKM Raudhatul Huffaazh Putri; and 3) the Language Development Division of UKM al-Fusha which synergizes with each other to spread the da'wah of the Qur'an and Arabic, especially in the city of Makassar. The results of its activities were successful in bringing as many as 1221 Muslim women. As a follow-up to the activity, 81 people formed Halaqah Tahsin and Arabic Language which were divided into 10 groups

Abstract

Bullying is currently a phenomenon in the school environment and has been designated as one of the "grave transgressions" in Education by the Indonesian Minister of Education and Culture. Consequently, this phenomenon requires attention and concerted corrective-preventive efforts to minimize its occurrence within the school environment. The purpose of this community service activity is to foster comprehension and enhance the capabilities of teachers within the internal Wahdah Islamiyah, enabling them to prevent and address bullying through a thought and behavior approach. The counseling, employing a thought and behavior approach, essentially adopts a cognitive-behavioral approach that has been tailored for broader application among teachers within the internal Wahdah Islamiyah school system. The results of this community service initiative demonstrate an augmentation in the comprehension and proficiency of teachers at Internal Wahdah Islamiyah, empowering them to prevent and address bullying through a thought and behavior approach.

Abstract

Islam makes da'wah an obligation because by means of da'wah, Islam can reach people across generations and across eras. The aim of this research is to find out the productivity of Muslim women's da'wah and enthusiasm for learning at the end of the pandemic, especially in East Lombok. This research is qualitative research with a sociological approach. The research results show that the pandemic which lasted almost two years did not reduce the enthusiasm of students to carry out their work programs offline. This is also supported by the enthusiasm and enthusiasm of Muslim women and children in East Lombok to take part in activities held by STIBA Makassar KKN students. The work programs implemented include kindergarten teaching, TPA teaching, social service, Tablig Akbar specifically for Muslim women and the Pious Children's Festival.

Abstract

The Bojonegoro University Collaborative Thematic KKN activity carried out in Sidomukti Village, Kasiman District, Bojonegoro Regency, is a community service activity which aims to increase the village development index so that Sidomukti Village can become an independent village through community empowerment. All work programs are prepared based on the Developing Village Index, which is divided into environmental, social and economic dimensions. The method for implementing this activity is by observing the conditions of the village and community, and then the results of these observations are discussed and coordinated with the community so that a work program is obtained, including (1) Procurement of trash bins, (2) Counseling for MSMEs on Digital Marketing, (3) Provision of Reading Parks, (4) Teaching in Elementary Schools, (5) Socialization of the Use of BPJS, and (6) Renovation of Kamling Posts. The community fully supported this work program and produced results as planned. The results of KKN's activities are that people have thrown away rubbish in the places that have been made, children have liked reading books, people have become aware of the importance of BPJS, and MSMEs have understood digital marketing. This KKN activity also pays attention to aspects of the Village SDGs so that even though the activity has ended, it still has a sustainable impact.

Abstract

The Community Service Program (KKN) V for STIBA Makassar students aims to increase Islamic knowledge and religious skills in the people of Bolaromang Village, Buttono Pao District, Gowa Regency. Implementation of activities begins with mapping problems and needs using SOAR analysis. After analyzing the problems and needs, work programs are then prepared according to the needs of the community as a form of community service (PkM). The stages of PkM activities include: the observation stage, the preparation stage, the implementation stage, the mentoring stage, and the evaluation stage. Some of the programs/activities that have been successfully implemented are: Al-Qur'an Illiteracy Eradication, Religious Development, and the Saleh Children's Festival. From these activities, enthusiasm and support from elements of the village government, the taklim assembly, and the community were seen in quite large activities. The community feels the benefits after participating in this KKN program, including an increase in knowledge, insight and religious skills. The sustainability of this program is in the form of further coaching for the community, especially for fathers and youth.

Abstract

The socialization of the book Blessed and Empowered Land with the theme Maintaining Food Security and Welfare of the People was carried out online via Zoom webinar on Saturday, September 30, 2023. This activity was attended by 54 participants consisting of Wahdah Islamiyah cadres and administrators, agricultural instructors, and the general public. The socialization activity was divided into two sessions, namely a material presentation session, and a discussion session. In the material presentation session, the concept of strategies for revitalizing and optimizing the function of land to be more productive is discussed, to achieve food security and welfare of the people. In the discussion session, participants can ask questions and discuss with the resource persons. The results of the activity showed that the online socialization of the book Tanah Berkah dan Berdaya succeeded in increasing the understanding of cadres, Wahdah Islamiyah administrators, and the community about the importance of maintaining food security and the welfare of the people. Activity participants can understand the concepts and strategies for reviving and optimizing land functions to make them more productive. In conclusion, online socialization of the book Tanah Berkah dan Berdaya is an effective effort to increase public understanding of the importance of maintaining food security and the welfare of the people.

Abstract

Cash waqf has become a financial instrument that has great potential for advancing community welfare and strengthening the foundations of various development programs aimed at improving the quality of life in the community, including educational development. In this context, active participation from all levels of society, including educators or teaching staff, for example lecturers and education staff, is crucial in ensuring the success of cash waqf programs. This community service activity aims to increase literacy and understanding regarding cash waqf among lecturers and education staff through a Webinar on the Socialization of the Cash Waqf Movement for Lecturers and Education Staff in Islamic Colleges, taking place at the College of Islamic Sciences and Languages Arabic (STIBA) Makassar. The method used in carrying out community service activities is face-to-face lectures (socialization) through stages or activity flows, namely: observation, preparation, implementation, and evaluation. The results of this community service activity show that the participants looked enthusiastic and showed high interest in contributing to the cash waqf movement through KAWAN WAHDAH. Based on the evaluation results, it appears that this socialization can increase understanding and literacy regarding cash waqf, especially among the academic community in the STIBA Makassar environment. After this activity, the participants are expected to be able to actively contribute to becoming cash waqf through KAWAN WAHDAH or other programs. Abstract

This Community Service Program (PkM) aims to increase the religious understanding of Indonesian citizens in the city of Riyadh through the role of the Al-Hidayah Taklim Council. The PkM method used is the implementation of Al-Hidayah taklim assemblies, such as al-Qur'an halaqah with two main activities, namely tahsin and tahfiz, Arabic halaqah, scientific studies, including fiqh, aqidah, Al-Qur'an sciences. and studies with special themes according to certain moments. This activity program is carried out regularly on Fridays and Saturdays flexibly. The result of this PkM is that apart from being a place of learning that is able to increase religious knowledge for Indonesian citizens, the taklim assembly also acts as a forum that strengthens and strengthens friendship and social relations between Indonesian citizens, instilling the values ​​of solidarity and brotherhood, as well as moral and spiritual values. The taklim assembly also has an important role in assisting the Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia (KBRI) in providing protection and shelter for Indonesian citizens in the city of Riyadh. The taklim assembly as a social and educational institution plays an active role in collaborating with the Indonesian Embassy in ensuring the welfare and needs of Indonesian citizens, especially in religious aspects. The existence of the Al-Hidayah Taklim Council and its role has had a positive impact on Indonesian citizens in the city of Riyadh.

Abstract

Sukamahi Village is located in Megamendung District, Bogor Regency, West Java, one of the pilot villages for the One Billion One Village (SaMiSaDe) program in 2021. Sukamahi Village has agricultural and plantation potential. Most of the village residents have professions as farmers and own businesses such as food businesses and grocery stores in Sukamahi Village. Most of the women in Sukamahi Village are involved in PKK activities, farming and are housewives. Currently, there are no profitable business activities among the group of women residents of Sukamahi village. There are problems in various regions where local food businesses are generally less attractive, innovative, creative, and the majority are only wrapped in transparent plastic without any labels or information. The aim of organizing this community service is to provide knowledge about packaging processed food products that comply with good food packaging rules and can attract consumers' attention. The implementation method consists of initial observations and training activities. Initial observations include licensing, mapping communities that need training, and formulating appropriate training. The training activity provided material and direct practice in making appropriate products and packaging, ended with a question and answer session regarding what had been provided. Overall, the training on packaging processed food products went well and was beneficial for improving the skills and business marketing of the Sukamahi Village community. With more attractive and quality packaging, processed food business products from Sukamahi Village have a better opportunity to penetrate a wider market to help improve the economic level of business actors.

Abstract

Community service which includes efforts to improve the quality of human resources in religious aspects and as a form of concern in developing society. The methods used in implementing community service through real work lectures are: Observation, Interviews, Preparation of work program workshops (Village Seminars). After the analysis is carried out, a work program is prepared that is appropriate and needed by the community. GEMAR Movement to Cover Private Parts is one of the work programs where this activity is specifically for Muslim women in Allaere village with the aim of activities to build awareness of the entire community about the importance of a Muslim woman covering her private parts. This program has been running well and has shown initial results in accordance with the KKN objectives that have been planned, namely inviting 44 Muslim women as participants and forming 4 intensive study groups.
