The "AWAS (Activity Watch And See)" learning model was chosen with the assumption that it is very relevant to environmental subject matter, with the aim of being able to motivate students to be active, innovative, creative, effective and fun, as well as easy to manufacture and use.The goal to be achieved is to increase student learning motivation in the subject of Geography. The research subjects were students of class XI IPS 1 at SMA Negeri 1 Gantung, totaling 21 students. Research data were collected through daily observations and tests. Sources of data obtained from teachers, peers and students. The action hypothesis is UseThe "AWAS (Activity Watch And See)" Learning Model Can Increase Motivation to Learn Geography in Class XI 1 Social Studies at SMA Negeri 1 Gantung for the 2020/2021 Academic Year. The results showed that the use of the "AWAS" learning model in subjects in Geography on basic environmental competencies could increase students' learning motivation in class XI IPS 1 SMA Negeri 1 Gantung. This is evident from the learning achievement test data also shows an increase, namely in the pre-cycle as many as 11 students (47.6%) achieved the KKM with an average of 75.76, in the first cycle students who achieved completion were 61, 9% or 13 students. with an average of 76.57 and in the second cycle of 85.7% or 18 students with an average of 79.90.So after the whole cycle is done, it can be concluded that the use of The "AWAS (Activity Watch And See)" Learning Model Can Increase Learning Motivation Geography In Class XI 1 Social Sciences at SMA Negeri 1  for the 2020/2021 academic year. This study aims to: (1) Find out the effect of e-leaning on the geography education students’ understanding (2) Evaluate the geography education students’ levels of understanding after the use of e-learning. This study was One Group Pretest – Posttest Design. The effect of e-learning on the levels of understanding was measured using pretest and posttest which was continued with analyzing using t-test and statistical description. This study results: (1) There was an effect of e-learning on the geography education students’ levels of understanding in the hydrogeography material which showed with a p.value sig. (2-tailed) at 0.001 (lower than 0.05) and t-statistic value of 4.236 which is greater than t-critical value (4.236 > 1.796), (2). Geography education students’ levels of understanding after the use of e-learning increased as seen from statistical description which showed that 25% students (3 students) is partially understand and occuring misconception which is the rest of 75% (9 orang) students is partially understand without misconception

Abstract

A number of rivers in India and Indonesia are usually used by the people to fulfill their daily needs. To ensure the quality of river water is in reasonable limit, it is important to monitor water quality regularly. The objective of this study was to review  and compare the selection of water quality monitoring parameters in India and Indonesia. The used method was descriptive analyses. The results of the study showed several findings: first, in terms of regulation, India was lesser than that of Indonesia; second, India used the water quality index to assess the state of water quality, while Indonesia used the STORET method or the water pollution index; third, India had legally stipulated the main parameters in considering the status of water quality, whereas Indonesia had yet to stipulate it; and forth, there were 10 water quality parameters that were often used in both India and Indonesia, namely pH, BOD, COD, DO, nitrate, phosphate, temperature, TDS, TSS, and total coliform. Therefore, these parameters should be selected as the key parameters to monitor water quality.

Abstract

Tasikmalaya is one of the cities in West Java Province with a total population of 716,155 people in 2020 with a growth rate of 12.70% compared to the population in 2010. Cihideung District is the area with the largest population density of 13,202 people/km2 and Tamansari District is the area with the smallest population density of 2,083 people/km2. Meanwhile, the population density of Tasikmalaya City is around 3,887 people/km2. However, the number of existing hospitals has not increased significantly and is also unable to accommodate and reach this very large population. For this reason, it is necessary to add hospitals with strategic locations, one way to do that can be done with the help of a geographic information system. By using the descriptive-quantitative method, the existing data were analyzed using a correlation approach and depicted factually, systematically and accurately. Referring to the data from the overlay analysis, the determination of the new hospital land location should be placed in areas with high population density, these locations include the districts of Cibereum, Mangkubumi, Bungursari, and Purbaratu, as well as in the northern and southern areas of Tasikmalaya City.

The method used in this study is a qualitative descriptive method. This study describes/describes and finds out the impact of the existence of BTS towers on the education of students of SMKN 1 Jatiroto and the economic changes of the surrounding community. Data collection techniques used are through observation, questionnaires and documentation. The results of the study can be concluded that: (1) The distribution and coverage of the BTS Tower Tower signal in Jatiroto District is spread over three areas and there are five BTS Tower Towers. Each BTS Tower can reach a signal as far as 5km and this is also influenced by the topography of the surrounding area (2) The impact of the existence of a BTS tower on the education of students at SMKN 1 Jatiroto has a positive impact in the form of making it easier for students to access the internet, making it easier for students to learn. The negative impact is radiation from the BTS tower signal and anxiety about the collapse of the BTS tower. (3) The impact of the existence of the BTS Tower on the economic changes of the surrounding community is that it can increase economic income, such as increasing income for people who sell credit and make it easier to access the internet. The negative impact is the increasing number of people's needs to buy credit which results in an increase in public spending, radiation from BTS tower signals.

Abstract

The formulation of the problem in this study is how the influence of social capital on the interest in entrepreneurship with self-efficacy in STPKat students. This study aims to analyze the effect of student social capital on entrepreneurial interest with self-efficacy. In order to answer this problem, Bourdie's theory of social capital and Bandura's theory of self-affication are used. This research method is quantitative, with a focus on analyzing the influence of student social capital on the interest in entrepreneurship with self-efficacy. The analysis used in this research is simple linear regression analysis, looking for the effect of social capital variable (X) on entrepreneurial interest and self-efficacy (Y). The results obtained are social capital has a positive influence coefficient, 0.355 the higher the social capital of a student, the higher the self-efficacy, or an increase of 35.5%. Social capital has a significance t of 0.540, which means this significance is > 0.05, so social capital has no significant effect on entrepreneurial interest and self-efficacy in STPKat Semarang students. Test the coefficient of determination on the adjusted R Square value. the contribution of social capital (independent variable) 8.8% to self-efficacy, in the sense that 81.2% can be found in further research outside the social capital variable.
