Abstract

Pereng Village has declared itself as a creative village since 2023. The village, which is part of Mojogedang District, Karanganyar Regency, besides being an agricultural village, also has potential that can be developed to accelerate the realization of a creative village. However, innovative design touches have not been optimally applied in its arts, culture, and economic and business activities. The questions are: 1) What potentials are there to support a creative village? 2) Why is the image of a creative village important? 3) How can innovative design play a role in supporting the realization of a creative village? This problem was examined through qualitative research with a design theory paradigm with a contemporary interpretation. The results and discussion are that Pereng Village has potential in the agricultural sector in the form of straw waste processed into paper. It has great potential in the arts and culture sector in the form of Reog performing arts, shadow puppet production by local craftsmen, and the formation of a gamelan community. Pereng Creative Village has superior products that, if developed, can benefit the village's economic growth. Innovative design can be aligned in the context of packaging and marketing superior products that are acceptable to today's consumer tastes. The conclusion is that all potential development in Pereng Village requires support until it becomes self-sufficient. Suggestions are needed for government and private sector funding to realize this independent, creative village

Abstract

This study stems from the need for digital transformation in the health sector to improve the quality of services that are effective, fast, and safe. This study aims to analyze the implementation of Electronic Health Records (EHR) in improving the efficiency and quality of services at the Pejeruk Community Health Center, Mataram. The research method used was a quantitative approach with a correlational analytical design, using Spearman's correlation test to determine the relationship between the variables of EHR, efficiency, service quality, and patient satisfaction. Data were collected through questionnaires filled out by health workers and patients who interacted directly with the EHR system. The results showed that there was no significant relationship between the implementation of EHR and efficiency (r = -0.071; p = 0.676), service quality (r = -0.057; p = 0.737), or patient satisfaction (r = -0.071; p = 0.676). However, there was a significant relationship between efficiency and service quality (r = -0.367; p = 0.026), indicating a negative influence between increased efficiency and service quality. These findings indicate that the implementation of RKE at the Pejeruk Community Health Center is still in the adaptation stage, so it has not had an optimal impact on improving service quality and efficiency. Based on these results, it is recommended that training on the use of RKE for health workers be improved, digital infrastructure be upgraded, and continuous evaluation be conducted to optimize the benefits of the health information system in supporting quality services.

Abstract

The understanding of the concept of green tourism from the perspective of tourism law in Indonesia is the objective of this study. Green tourism, also known as eco-tourism, is a sustainable tourism concept that emphasizes a balance between environmental conservation, energy efficiency, and the social welfare of surrounding communities. Based on a normative juridical approach, which includes legislation, literature, and related documents, it shows that the concept of green tourism is not explicitly regulated in national law. However, in principle, it is reflected in Law Number 10 of 2009 concerning Tourism, Law Number 32 of 2009 concerning Environmental Protection and Management, as well as various derivative regulations. The implementation of green tourism, in this case in North Sulawesi, has not been fully carried out successfully. This research can serve as input for aligning regulations and the issuance of Regional Regulations on Sustainable Tourism. The analysis technique in this study uses a descriptive method by first presenting the data, then analyzing it, and subsequently drawing conclusions. The concept of green tourism is aligned with the vision and mission of tourism law in general, and is part of the implementation of sustainable tourism development in Indonesia. The legal basis already exists, but there is a need to issue specific regulations focused on green tourism, implement a mandatory certification system, utilize green technology, and apply a digital/online monitoring system to oversee the implementation of sustainable tourism.

Abstract

Self-regulation is a crucial skill for students living in Islamic boarding schools (pesantren), where daily life is characterized by intensive social interactions, strict routines, and high demands for independence. In such contexts, peer support becomes an important social factor that may influence students’ ability to regulate their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. This study aims to examine the effect of peer support on students’ self-regulation in pesantren settings. This study employed a quantitative correlational design involving 252 male and female students from Islamic boarding schools in Gunung Pati District, Semarang, selected through proportional sampling. Data were collected using the Peer Support Questionnaire (PSQ) and the Self-Regulation Questionnaire (SRQ). Multiple linear regression analysis was conducted to examine the contribution of different dimensions of peer support to students’ self-regulation. The results showed that peer support had a significant effect on students’ self-regulation (R = 0.654; R² = 0.360; p < 0.01), indicating a moderate to strong effect size. Specifically, emotional support, companionship support, and validation significantly predicted students’ self-regulation, while informational support did not show a significant effect. These findings suggest that affective and relational aspects of peer support play a more important role than informational support in fostering self-regulation among students in pesantren.

Abstract

The utilization of agro-industrial waste as a feedstock for fuel-grade bioethanol offers a strategic opportunity to reduce dependence on fossil fuels and support the transition toward renewable energy. This study provides a systematic review of the potential of various Indonesian agro-industrial wastes, including lignocellulosic and non-lignocellulosic materials, along with the variation in ethanol yields produced through pretreatment, hydrolysis, fermentation, and purification processes. The analysis shows that feedstock characteristics, pretreatment efficiency, and microbial fermentation performance are key determinants of ethanol yield. A major challenge lies in the purification stage, as ethanol obtained from conventional distillation does not meet the fuel-grade requirement of ≥99.5% v/v. Several dehydration technologies—such as azeotropic distillation, extractive distillation, molecular sieves, membrane pervaporation, and PSA—can achieve high purity with distinct operational advantages. This review highlights the importance of integrating suitable purification methods and optimizing the conversion process to produce fuel-grade bioethanol that is technically and economically feasible. Overall, agro-industrial waste demonstrates significant potential to support national energy security and sustainability

Abstract

This study conducts a systematic review to examine the evolving accounting implications of smart farming technologies for enhancing agricultural efficiency and sustainability. Smart farming represents a major shift in agricultural practices through technological innovations that improve productivity and environmental performance. Within this transformation, accounting plays a crucial role in ensuring financial feasibility, sustainability integration, and informed decision-making. The importance of this review lies in its ability to consolidate diverse methodological insights, clarify how accounting practices must adapt, identify gaps in the current literature, and illuminate the strategic implications of technological adoption for investment and risk assessment.Despite its potential, smart farming presents a significant research gap: widespread adoption often overlooks substantial initial capital requirements and ongoing operational costs that traditional accounting struggles to fully capture. Moreover, smart farming relies heavily on data, raising complex challenges concerning data privacy, ownership, security, and the valuation of data as an intangible asset. Environmental and social trade-offs further complicate existing accounting frameworks, which may be ill-equipped to integrate such multidimensional impacts. This review aims to synthesize existing scholarship to understand these emerging accounting implications. It specifically examines how smart farming affects traditional accounting practices, including shifts in cost structures, asset valuation, risk management, and sustainability reporting, while highlighting the opportunities and challenges introduced by new technologies. The methodology consists of a systematic literature search in Scopus using keywords related to “traditional,” “smart farming,” “accounting implications,” “efficiency,” and “sustainability.” Filters were applied for publication years (2015–2025), subject areas (Agriculture and Biological Sciences, Environmental Science, Business, Management and Accounting), and document type (Article). After abstract screening, 96 articles were selected for full-text review.Key findings indicate that smart farming redefines agricultural accounting, requiring broader integration of environmental, social, and governance dimensions. Adoption demands granular cost tracking, updated reporting frameworks, and robust risk management approaches. Future research should refine accounting models, create new sustainability metrics, employ interdisciplinary methods, and conduct regional comparative studies to support context-specific best practices.

Abstract

Market Day is an example of the application of entrepreneurship education through production, distribution, and consumption activities. Entrepreneurship education in higher education aims to make students independent and have an entrepreneurial spirit, with the hope that at least alumni will open their own businesses or partner with the industrial world and government. This type of research is quantitative research with statistical methods or alternative forms of measurement. The design applied in this study refers to a simple paradigm, namely a research framework that only involves one independent variable (Market Day) and one dependent variable (Entrepreneurial Interest). Market day activities carried out by students will be an indicator of whether they have an impact on entrepreneurial interest or not. Data collection techniques used questionnaires, documentation, and interviews. Data analysis techniques are descriptive and inferential. The results of the study show that the t-value of 6.465> t-table 0.2681, so ho is rejected and ha is accepted, meaning there is a positive and significant influence of market day activities on students' entrepreneurial interest, in addition to creating an entrepreneurial ecosystem by involving stakeholders who are able to support and encourage the formation of a good business world
