awshiyah: Jurnal Sosial Keagamaan dan Pendidikan Islam is an The Institute of Research and Community Services/ Lembaga Penelitian dan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (LP2M)-listed group journal, Institut Agama Islam Negeri (IAIN) Syaikh Abdurrahman Siddik Bangka Belitung, Indonesia. The Journal publishing original scholarly research in the comparative and interdisciplinary study of socio-religious community, and Islamic Education. Tawshiyah is committed to the publication of significant, novel research, as well as review symposia and responses. In addition, the journal includes book reviews and discussions of important venues for the publication of scholarly work in the study of religion. Tawshiyah has an international expertise editorial board and is committed to publishing work from scholars of religion around the globe, including occasional translations of important papers. Tawshiyah accepts papers on all socio-religious and Islamic education studies topics and themes with trans-disciplinary perspective: including the history, literature, thought, practice, material culture, and institutions of particular religious traditions and communities from a variety of perspectives such as social scientific, cultural, cognitive, ethnographic, economic, ecological, and geographic, theology or philosophy of religion. Tawshiyah expects that authors frame their research questions and present their results in terms of relevant theoretical or methodological discussions. Purely descriptive papers are not generally accepted for publication. Papers on theory and methodology are encouraged. All publications in Religion are intended to be of interest to a wide audience of academic scholars of religion; submitted work should be presented in a manner intelligible to more than specialists.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the Amtsilati method of reading the Yellow Book at the Raudlatul Muta'allimin Al-Baisuny Islamic Boarding School. To answer this question, this research uses qualitative research using descriptive methods. This research uses primary data sources and secondary data. Meanwhile, data collection techniques use observation, interviews and documentation. Then, the data analysis technique is through a data reduction process, data presentation stage and drawing conclusions and verification. The results of Amsilati's research in reading the Yellow Book show that the form of learning is using the Amtsilati method in the Amtsilati learning process it uses stages starting with the teacher reading the words in the yellow book then explaining the meanings and the students together reading nadzom-nadzom that has been given so that students become accustomed to it and memorise it more easily. Then, use media in learning, as well as practical learning time. Meanwhile, the supporting factor that influence the "Amsilati" learning method are the enthusiastic teacher’s evaluation of learning. Meanwhile, the inhibiting factors are low motivation to learn and an unsupportive environment.

Abstract

This article aims to discuss the nature of thinking in the perspective of Islamic psychology. Islamic psychology is an integral concept of the practice dimension and the scientific dimension, this practice-scientific dimension that fully binds humans into spiritual behavior patterns. The paradigm of Islamic Psychology shows that human 'reality' is bound through epistemological, ontological, and axiological aspects. This is in line with what is found in the Qur'an with the terms dabbara (contemplate), Faqiha (understand), tafakkara (think), Tadzakara (remember) and Fahima (understand). The Qur'an also describes various terminologies such as tadhakkur, which is a derivation from the root word dhakara meaning to remember, the term al-tafakkur comes from the word fakara meaning power or power that leads to knowledge, the term ta'aqqul in terms of language has several meanings, lexically the word ta'aqqul comes from the word 'Aqa which has the meaning of thinking while taddabur thinks of the meaning behind the explicit meaning, also called thinking about what is implied behind the explicit.

Abstract

Abstract Al-Ghazali's thoughts on the philosophy of Islamic education and character building have deep significance and are relevant in the context of society. This article discusses the contribution of Al-Ghazali, a prominent medieval scholar who offered a comprehensive view of education as a means of getting closer to God and character as the core of Islamic education to global religious thought. The main focus is on the purpose of education according to Al-Ghazali, which includes not only the attainment of worldly happiness but also the happiness of the hereafter. The article also explores the moral and ethical values that Al-Ghazali emphasized in character building. By considering the relationship between individual and social responsibility, this study evaluates the relevance of Al-Ghazali's views in facing the challenges of modern society. The practical implications of Al-Ghazali's thoughts on character building and Islamic education are also an integral part of the analysis. Artikel ini membahas kontribusi Al-Ghazali, seorang ulama terkemuka abad pertengahan yang menawarkan pandangan komprehensif tentang pendidikan sebagai sarana mendekatkan diri kepada Allah dan karakter sebagai inti dari pendidikan Islam terhadap pemikiran keagamaan global. Fokus utama adalah pada tujuan pendidikan menurut Al-Ghazali, yang tidak hanya mencakup pencapaian kebahagiaan dunia tetapi juga kebahagiaan akhirat. Artikel ini juga menggali nilai-nilai moral dan etika yang ditekankan Al-Ghazali dalam pembentukan karakter. Dengan mempertimbangkan hubungan antara tanggung jawab individu dan sosial, penelitian ini mengevaluasi relevansi pandangan Al-Ghazali dalam menghadapi tantangan masyarakat modern. Implikasi praktis dari pemikiran Al-Ghazali terhadap pembentukan karakter dan pendidikan Islam juga menjadi bagian integral dari analisis ini. Abstract

Peningkatan kemiskinan acapkali identik dikaitkan dengan kehidupan pedesaan. Skill dan permodalan sering menjadi alasan masyarakat untuk sulit lepas dari belenggu kemiskinan. Hal tersebut tersebut terlihat kontras dengan berbagai potensi yang ada di pedesaan. Ditambah lagi berbagai ramuan metode pengentasan kemiskinan telah ditawarkan untuk menyelesaikan berbagai permasalahan kehidupan sosial ekonomi pedesaan. Oleh karena itu, rekonstruksi ekonomi pedesaan melalui community development berbasis zakat produktif menjadi salah satu terobosan tawaran yang bisa memberantas kemiskinan dari hulu hingga hilir.

Abstract

Ibtidaiyah have been carried out. However, there has been no survey of articles related to research on the implementation of the independent curriculum at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah in Indonesia. Thus, this research aims to classify all the research relate to research on the implementation of the independent curriculum at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah in Indonesia. Systematic Literature Review (SLR) method which is used to identify research result on the topic. These research data come from 9 articles of 9 which have been accredited by the Ministry of Research, Technology of Higher Education of the Republic of Indonesia in the Sinta 3, 4, and 5 categories. The result of the research mapped all the articles analysed into five categories namely; subject, class, student ability, and method used in the research. The result of this research exposed information related to research on the implementation of the independent curriculum at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah in Indonesia. Then research could became recommendation for further research on the implementation of the independent curriculum at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah in Indonesia Keywords: independent curriculum, madrasah ibtidaiyah, journals accredited in level 3, 4, and 5, systematic literature review.

Abstract

The philological approach in Islamic studies is an analytical method that examines ancient texts and written works to gain a deep understanding of the culture, thought, and values upheld by Islamic societies of the past. Philology, as a discipline within the humanities, focuses on the critical study of ancient manuscripts, including the Qur'an, Hadiths of the Prophet, as well as other literature and historical documents. This approach involves textual analysis, tracing origins, and interpreting the historical context of these texts. Through philology, researchers can identify changes, damage, and adaptations that have occurred in these manuscripts over time. Thus, philology not only plays a role in the conservation and restoration of ancient texts but also provides valuable insights into the development of Islamic thought and culture over the ages. Philological studies in Islam help in understanding and interpreting the intellectual and spiritual heritage that remains relevant to contemporary Islamic society.

Abstract

Metodologi pendidikan sangat menentukan dalam mencapai hasil belajar. Pembelajaran yang efektif serta aktif akan memotivasi siswa untuk lebih mewujudkan potensinya, dimulai dengan kecerdasan, kepribadian, etika, serta keterampilan yang bermanfaat bagi masyarakat. Pengaruh pendidikan agama Islam terhadap vitalitas manusia luar biasa pesatnya. Pendidikan agama Islam berlaku di setiap zaman, kapanpun, dimanapun. Siapapun yang mempelajari pendidikan agama Islam dapat memperoleh pemahaman yang sama serta utuh dari sumber-sumbernya. Studi ini merupakan studi literatur deskriptif serta eksploratif yang menyimpulkan metode pendidikan agama Islam ialah pendekatan pembelajaran yang memanfaatkan pendekatan metodologis serta terstruktur dengan mempertimbangkan serta melaksanakan seluruh unsur yang berkaitan dengan pencapaian tujuan Islam. Pemakaian metode serta pendekatan yang dinamis sangat menentukan efektifitas serta efisiensi pendidikan agama Islam. Studi ini menemukan beberapa metode yang dianggap relevan bagi generasi milenial, diantaranya adalah metode hiwar (dialog) yang bersumber dari Al-Qur'an serta Nabawi, Amtsal Alquran serta Nabawi, contoh, kebiasaan serta amalan, Ibroh serta Mau'izoh, Targhib serta Tarhib.

Abstract

Pulau Bangka memiliki sejarah panjang dalam proses Islamisasi, yang dimulai pada abad ke-17. Para ahli sejarah memiliki pendapat yang berbeda-beda mengenai waktu pasti masuknya Islam ke Bangka, namun ada beberapa jalur utama yang menjadi pintu gerbang penyebaran Islam di pulau ini, yaitu: Jalur Arabia, Jalur Johor (Malaysia) pada abad ke-14, Jalur Minangkabau, Jalur Banten, Jalur Kesultanan Palembang, dan Jalur Banjar (Kalimantan Selatan). Seiring dengan proses Islamisasi tersebut, didirikanlah surau-surau sebagai tempat ibadah dan pusat pengembangan Islam di berbagai desa di Bangka. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeteksi keberadaan surau-surau di wilayah Kabupaten Bangka Barat melalui peta yang dikeluarkan pada tahun 1916-1935, sehingga dapat diketahui jumlahnya pada kurun waktu tersebut yakni 33 yang tersebar di desa-desa di wilayah Bangka Barat.
