Abstract

The community has the right to utilize public open spaces. Therefore, the government has the responsibility to provide public open spaces and provide supporting facilities that can be used by the community according to their designation. Manado City in implementing Law Number 26 of 2007 has provided public open spaces for the community. The availability of public open spaces has been utilized by the community for sports activities, recreation or simply interacting with others. The open spaces that are often used by the people of Manado City besides the Blessing Park and the coastal reclamation park are also the Sparta Tikala Field, the Wenang National Unity Park, and the KONI Sario Field. However, in its management and utilization, several complaints are still found from the community. This study was conducted to identify and analyze community satisfaction in the management and use of green open spaces in Manado City. The research design used is qualitative with a descriptive approach. Data were obtained by conducting interviews with the community who use green open spaces and the managers of green open spaces. Observations were made by visiting the existing green open spaces directly and observing all the facilities available and the activities carried out by the community when they were in the green open space. Secondary data collection was conducted by utilizing Google Scholar and ResearchGate to obtain references that can support the achievement of research objectives. Data analysis was conducted using the stages of data reduction,

Abstract

Minahasa Regency, North Sulawesi Province has many potential resources that continue to be developed to support the tourism sector. However, the government has not yet made local wisdom based on religion a potential to be developed into a tourist destination. The community living in the Jawa Tondano Village has historical value in fighting for the independence of the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia and in the spread of Islam in Minahasa Regency. Social interactions that occur with the Minahasa tribe do not fade the value of Javanese ethnic wisdom and the religious nature of the descendants of Kiay Mojo. Kampung Jawa Tondano is a community in Minahasa Regency that has the potential to be developed as cultural-religious tourism based on local wisdom. This study was conducted to analyze the potential of Kampung Jawa Tondano Village physically and non-physically to be developed as a Religious Tourism Village in Minahasa Regency. This study will be conducted using a qualitative design with a case study approach. Data were collected directly through interviews with village government leaders and community leaders and conducted observations to identify all the potential in the Jawa Tondano Village. Secondary data collection was also conducted by utilizing the village profile and searching for references to various electronic publications that are in accordance with the research object. The analysis technique was carried out by means of data reduction, data display and conclusion drawing and verification.

Abstract

The challenge in implementing quality management effectively in MSMEs lies in the tight market competition and the dynamics of the ever-changing industrial environment. Although MSMEs have great potential to improve the economy and absorb labor, various obstacles such as low product quality, limited human resources and technology still hamper development. This study aims to determine and analyze the effect of the implementation of Total Quality Management on the quality competitiveness and improvement of operational performance of MSMEs in Makassar City. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistical techniques and Structural Equation Modeling (SEM), with validity testing through normality and reliability tests. The results of the study indicate that the implementation of Total Quality Management (TQM) has a positive and significant effect on the quality competitiveness of MSMEs in Makassar City. TQM improves product quality, makes MSMEs more competitive in the market, and helps manage the production process more efficiently, reduces errors, and increases customer satisfaction. Although TQM also has a positive impact on operational performance, its effect is not significant, indicating that other elements such as human resources, technology, and the business environment also influence. Overall, TQM contributes to improving operational performance through quality competitiveness and operational efficiency. The output produced from this study is in the form of scientific publications. Theoretically, it becomes a theoretical basis for quality management practices, quality competitiveness and improving operational performance in Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises in Makassar City.

This research is based on a literature review, direct discussions, and insights from a seminar presented by agribusiness owners, namely Mitra Tani Farm and Sangreat Natural Indonesia, to provide a deeper understanding of the application of the circular economy in the field. The findings indicate that circular economy-based strategies can improve operational efficiency and business resilience, while also providing positive environmental sustainability impacts, as demonstrated through case studies at Mitra Tani Farm and Sangreat Natural Indonesia. The prototype phase of this study outlines managerial implications that can be applied by agribusiness SMEs to enhance business sustainability. This article offers practical guidance for SMEs to achieve long-term sustainability while meeting market demands for responsible business practices.
