Abstract

Cioccolato brownie is a business engaged in the food business, namely brownies. In doing business, Cioccolato brownie performs the traditional process of presenting information to consumers to obtain product and development information. Where by contacting and communicating through the admin or business owner via short messages. Therefore, consumers will take a long time to get the desired business or product information. Meanwhile, business owners or admins also become inefficient and inefficient in running a business, because they must be effective in sending messages that may be carried out between one consumer and another. Therefore, to overcome the problems faced by Cioccolato brownie, a virtual assistant chatbot based on website, line and telegram was created. A virtual assistant chatbot named Ciovita. The method used in the development of a virtual assistant with the Waterfall Model is modeled with Usecase, activity diagram and sequence. The final result of the development of this virtual assistant chatbot is a website, line and telegram that can facilitate the provision of product information on Cioccolato brownie, so that it will help Cioccolato brownie in carrying out its business activities more effectively and efficiently.

Abstract

Buyung Fitri's sea fish stand is a trading business that provides fresh sea fish which it operates in the Senapelan, Pekanbaru. This stand is capable of handling wholesale and retail sales. The absence of financial records that should be required in the trading business is a problem for the stand’s owner. Therefore, a recommendation solution is given to the owner to build a website system. This system can manage transactions that occur in the sea fish business to become financial reports. This system is build based on a website using the PHP CodeIgniter framework and MySQL. In addition, this study also built a mobile app that is used to view financial reports needed by users later. Based on black box testing, it can be concluded that both systems can run well. Then based on performance testing, it can be concluded that the website system built can be accessed quickly. While the android system has low memory usage so it can run well.

Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic has caused the acceleration of digitalization to occur throughout the world in various aspects of life, one of which is in the world of education. The openness of access to learning resources has not been the right solution for humans to learn independently. There are details in the learning process that require the guidance of a teacher called a mentor. In line with this, PT Nusademy Solusi Indonesia (Nusademy) built a marketplace mentoring platform that allows learning to take place in a network between users and mentors. Nusademy provides an opportunity for users to able to choose learning topics and mentors according to their needs. In it, there are steps for mentoring orders, which are currently still being processed manually by the admin every time there is a transaction. So, we need a system that can bridge users with mentors to share benefits without having to depend on admin availability. Python is a programming language that has characteristics suitable for autonomous system development and integration with third-party services. This study aims to create, implement, and test an automated order mentoring system on the Nusademy Web Application which is integrated with the Xendit payment application, the Google Calendar scheduling application, and the Google Hangouts video-conferencing application. The automation system provides automatic services in billing, checking payment status, communication processes between users and admins, communication processes between admins and mentors, creating virtual mentoring rooms, and notification of mentoring agenda reminders. The system is launched on a cloud computing-based server which can enable automatic capacity scaling based on user requests using Google Cloud Run. Testing of the order mentoring automation system is carried out by considering aspects of system capability, system reliability, level of effectiveness, user experience, and business analysis.

Abstract

In today's era technology has begun to enter into various aspects of human life, one of which is in the field of agriculture. The majority of farmers in Indonesia still carry out farming activities without using technology assistance. This of course has its own advantages and disadvantages, and one of the drawbacks is not knowing the cause of why a plant dies but not because of disease or not growing plants optimally and watering plants in large quantities at certain times every day. Based on the problems above, the author tries to design a tool that can monitor the state of the soil and also carry out watering automatically, using the prototyping method. Tools and materials used such as arduino nano as a microcontroller, humidity sensor to read the value of moisture in the soil and soil pH sensor to read the pH value of the soil. The tool will send data to the user's smartphone so that it can be monitored and controlled by the pump remotely. It is hoped that the tool can ease the workload of farmers or can also provide additional information regarding the condition of the soil where the plants grow

Abstract

In the Academic Potential Test of new students at the Raudhatul Akmal Islamic College (STAIRA) Batang Kuis, do not yet have a Computer Based Test (CBT) or a computer-based exam for the freshman academic potential test exam. So that the exam is still carried out manually and costs a lot of money in its implementation. But it also makes the exam process less carried out because some students can cheat when filling in answers by cheating friends. Therefore, in this study aims to create a web-based Computer Based Test (CBT) application and randomize the questions in it by applying the Linear Congruent Generator (LCG) method. The result of this study is a web-based application for academic potential test exams that are expected to overcome the problems that exist in the current STAIRA Batang Kuis. The order of the questions will be automatically randomized when students conduct an academic potential test exam based on their respective student identification numbers.

Abstract

In today's era, which is supported by technological advances, personal assistance through the face can be carried out by sophisticated machines and robots. One of its applications is personal identification using data mining. But before conducting data training and data classification, it is necessary to carry out the process of data collection and data cleaning or data pre-processing. Currently the face dataset for personal identification at the Caltex Riau Polytechnic in particular is still in the form of raw data, namely in the form of a collection of images that have not been pre-processed. Therefore, this research will perform image preprocessing to clean up the image data that has been collected so that the data can become a cleaner source of information and can be used at a later stage. The data used in this study are image data or photos of Caltex Riau Polytechnic students. At the facial image pre-processing stage using the OpenCV library using the Python programming language. Images collected by 500 students for 5 students. The results of this study are the personal identification dataset of Caltex Riau Polytechnic students consisting of 280 images that have successfully passed the stages of grayscaling, cropping, resizing and Normalization. This dataset is stored in the file data_norm.npz. White box testing is carried out to determine the accuracy of the application of the image pre-processing stage with the test results stating that all functional basis paths applied are in accordance with the cyclometic complexity and its independent path.

Abstract

Musyawarah store is a grocery store that provides a variety of daily needs. The products sold at the deliberative shop include necessities, kitchen spices, toiletries, laundry soap, and house cleaners. So far, sales data has never been analyzed. Data analysis with data mining can generate new knowledge to help shop owners manage inventory strategies and display items for sale. This study aimed to determine the pattern of the high frequency of items sold in the Musyawarah grocery store using data mining methods. The Apriori algorithm analyzes sales transactions at the Musyawarah grocery store. Based on the observations and calculations that the authors have made of the final association results, namely, if you buy eggs, you will buy Indomie rebus with 50% support and 58% confidence, and if you buy Indomie rebus, you will buy eggs with 50% support and 100% confidence. While sasa is the product that does not sell well with the smallest confidence value.

Abstract

The hospital's Intensive Care Unit (ICU) and High Care Unit (HCU) systems are very important systems and are always used, so it is necessary to know the extent of their performance. Thus, the study aims to provide reference for xyz hospital regarding the condition (performance) of the current ICU and HCU patient systems. COBIT 5 is an information system capability evaluation framework with the build, acquire and implement (BAI) domain. Domain BAI focuses on developing, acquiring, and implementing information systems, applications, and services. It covers the entire IT project life cycle, starting with the planning and requirements gathering phases and continuing through the design, development, testing, and deployment phases. This study also uses qualitative approach with literature studies and quantitative approach for data analysis to measure capability level. Research respondents were heads and staff from the IT, ICU, and HCU divisions. The results of this study describe the level of capability achieved by hospitals in the BAI Domain, with an average score of 3.30 at the established level. This level illustrates that the application of information technology can achieve process results that are in accordance with the wishes of raft xyz management. This stage also illustrates that the xyz hospital has an information technology process that has been standardized thoroughly to achieve all processes. The results of this evaluation can also be guideline for the xyz raft house to make improvements and improve the performance of the ICU and HCU patient systems in meeting the needs of intensively treated patients.

Abstract

Economic growth in West Sumatra's Mentawai Islands is relatively undeveloped due to geographical conditions and human resource capacity. The status as a 3T region (Disadvantaged, Frontier, Outermost) inhibits Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) growth. Despite MSMEs being economic pillars that stimulate regional development, their progress remains slow. To counter this, our study proposes "Bulagat", an integrated marketplace with digital logistics aimed at enhancing economic and MSMEs growth in the Mentawai Islands. Bulagat will streamline MSME product distribution, broaden market reach, and boost income. Constructed using the Waterfall Model, Bulagat facilitates transactions between MSMEs and customers on an easy-to-use platform. The integration of logistics digitization aims to improve delivery safety and efficiency, thereby expanding MSMEs product reach in the Mentawai Islands. A tracking feature ensures successful delivery. The study suggests Bulagat has the potential to be an efficient tech solution supporting MSMEs product sales in Mentawai, overcoming geographical barriers, and strengthening the local economy and community welfare. This application aims to mitigate MSMEs challenges, drive economic growth, and enhance local community welfare.

Abstract

Corn is one of the substitute staple foods in Indonesia after rice. Maize crops grown in Indonesia often experience considerable losses due to maize plant diseases. Generally, plant diseases are initially caused by morphological changes in the leaves. Accurate detection and classification of diseases that appear on the leaves will prevent the widespread spread of the disease. This study will compare classification algorithms, namely Support Vector Machine, K-Nearest Neighbors, and Multilayer Perceptron to find the best algorithm in the classification of leaf disease in corn plants, namely, cercospora leaf spot gray, common rust, and northern leaf blight using the VGG-16 deep learning model used as image feature extraction. The results showed that the Multilayer Perceptron algorithm produced the best values with accuracy, precision, and recall of 97.4% each.
