Abstract

Metode mengajar merupakan cara seorang guru dalam menyajikan materi pelajaran di lokal. Metode pengajaran digunakan oleh guru untuk menciptakan lingkungan belajar dan mendasari aktivitas guru dan peserta didik. Diantara metode mengajar yang digunakan adalah metode ceramah dan metode diskusi. Pada metode ceramah penyajian berlangsung satu arah yaitu dari guru ke siswa. Guru menjadi sumber imformasi. Biasanya metode ceramah ini siswa menjadi kurang aktif. Metode diskusi penyajian guru dilakukan dengan diskusi mengenai suatu topik pembahasan yang berkaitan dengan materi yang sedang di bahas. Sedangkan motivasi belajar merupakan kekuatan yang mendorong seseorang dalam melakukan sesuatu dan tentunya demi memenuhi keinginannya atau mewujudkan tercapainya tujuan pembelajaran. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di MTsS YPI Al-Madjid Pematangsiantar dengan hasil : 1) terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan antara metode pembelajaran dengan hasil belajar siswa, 2) terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan antara motivasi belajar dengan hasil belajar, dan 3) tidak terdapat interaksi antara metode pembelajaran dengan motivasi belajar terhadap hasil belajar.

Abstract

The school culture and climate applied at SMK Al Hikmah Pulau Banyak is a climate that fosters a commitment to independence in organizing learning activities. Fostering the participation of school members in creating a safe and orderly environment, establishing clearly and realizing the vision by operationalizing the mission into activity programs; realizing cohesiveness and developing good communication through collaborative activities. The school culture that is implemented at Al Hikmah Vocational School through self-development activities, namely: Routine activities, namely activities carried out by students continuously and consistently such as Monday ceremony activities, major state ceremonies, nail hygiene checks, class pickets, congregational prayers, marching when enter class, pray before class starts and ends, and say hello when meeting teachers, educators and friends. School culture is carried out with spontaneous activities, namely activities carried out by students spontaneously at that time, for example, collecting donations when a friend is affected by a disaster or donating to the community when a disaster occurs. The teacher cultivates exemplary behavior, namely the attitude of teachers, education staff and students in setting an example through good actions that are expected. Discipline values ??(teacher's presence earlier than students), cleanliness, tidiness, affection, politeness, attention, honesty and hard work and confidence. Conditioning, namely Conditioning, namely creating conditions that support the implementation of character education, for example cleanliness of the body and clothes, clean toilets, trash cans, green yards with trees, posters of wise words at school and in the classroom. SMK Al Hikmah Pulau Banyak has developed and implementing character building values ??through the operational program of character value education units instilled in the form of religious values, mutual cooperation, cleanliness, discipline, togetherness, caring for the environment, and hard work. The main emphasis is on instilling Islamic religious values ??in students so that they will become generations of skilled and Muslim characters. SMK Al-Hikmah Pulau Banyak in building a school culture and climate which is applied in an effort to shape the character of students through routine and exemplary activities and apply religious values ??as well as possible. Students are given examples and habits in carrying out activities that reflect skills that are supported by religious values.

Abstract

An educational institution in realizing its existence in order to achieve a goal requires effective human resource management (HR). The correlation of HR management with teacher performance is two things that are very related and cannot be separated. This means that the ability to empower human resources in an educational institution will lead to improvements in teacher performance at the school, one of which is the development of human resource management programmed for teacher performance by the head of Madrasah Tsanawiyah Al-Fath Gebang. Based on the research problems that have been formulated and the results of the research that the researchers have done, the Level of Human Resource Management on teacher performance in MTs. Al-Fath Gebang Islamic Boarding School can be said to be very good. This can be seen from the acquisition of table percentages from the frequency distribution which all place teacher performance a) Intellectual quality including knowledge and skills), b) Education, c) Understanding of the field, d) Ability. In high level . This means that teacher competence is needed, especially in the learning process, not only one competency that must be mastered but strived to have all four of these competencies. There is an overall positive and significant influence of human resource management on teacher performance in MTs. Al-Fath Gebang Islamic Boarding School. This shows that human resource management is very much needed in the process of improving teacher performance.

Abstract

The management of teacher competency development at Madrasah Aliyah Negeri I Langkat has been carried out very well by the madrasa so that teachers are able to have the competencies expected in educating. The management of teacher competency development is carried out through several competency development programs for teachers including subject teacher deliberations (MGMP) involving teachers in both public and private fields of study. Asking each teacher to prepare a learning implementation plan (RPP), prepare visual aids before teaching and giving apperceptions. In addition, efforts to develop teacher competence by managing time allocation for each subject taught by allocating more time for prioritized subjects both during the teaching and learning process in class and in the laboratory. Another form of management for developing teacher competencies is by appealing to each teacher to have their own creative and innovative learning methods so that they can be properly applied during learning. Increasing teacher competence can be seen from several indicators of improvement. The first indicator is seen from the teacher's mastery of the material covered and mastery of the class. Competent teachers will produce quality students as seen from the increase in student achievement. Increasing student achievement from various sides shows that the teachers who educate them have good competence. Other indicators can be seen from the development of students' interest and motivation in learning. indicators that teachers have good competence, can be seen from the development of students' talents. Teachers who have competence, especially social competence, will be able to become role models for their students. This competence can be seen from changes in attitudes, characteristics and morals of students who continue to experience changes for the better.

Abstract

This study aims to determine whether there is a significant effect of using short stories on improving reading comprehension for grade students VIII Mts Yp. Haji Datuk Abdullah. This research method is a qualitative method. The samples of this study were students of class VIII-1 and VIII-2 at Mts Yp. Haji Datuk Abdullah in the 2021/2022 school year. In this study, researcher took 60 students as samples. The researcher used 10 multiple choice questions to measure students' reading comprehension. In the data collection technique, the researcher used pre-test, treatment and post-test by giving a reading comprehension test. The results of this study indicate that there is a significant effect from the use of short stories. This can be seen from the difference in students' average scores from the pre-test and post-test scores in the experimental class which increased.The t-test average post-test score in the control class was 52 while the post-test score in the experimental class was 75 higher. then control class. in brief, the short story strategy can be applied to improve students' reading comprehension.

Abstract

Tuntutan masyarakat saat ini adalah pendidikan yang bermutu, sekolah dituntut memperbaiki atau meningkatkan pencitraan publik sehingga masyarakat yakin bahwa sekolah tersebut layak menjadi pilihan putra-putrinya. Lesson study dengan karakteristiknya nampaknya dapat digunakan sebagai salah satu alternatif untuk mengatasi masalah tersebut sehingga pencitraan publik sekolah meningkat. Memang Lesson Study banyak menekankan pada pembelajaran di kelas namun dampak kegiatan ini bisa pada aspek yang lain misal: peningkatan sarana pembelajaran, inovasi sekolah, perubahan visi dan misi sekolah, motivasi guru dan pimpinan sekolah, serta muncul aktivitas ekstrakurikuler dan lain-lain. Lesson study berbasis sekolah yang dilakukan secara rutin akan muncul inovasi pada sekolah sehingga dapat digunakan sebagai upaya memperbaiki citra publik sekolah, kegiatan bisa berlangsung dengan baik perlu adanya komitmen Pengawas Madrasah dan kemauan guru untuk memperbaiki diri.

Abstract

This study aims to find out how the communication management of the madrasah head improves the character of the students at the Al-Fath Gebang Islamic Boarding School, which includes communication between the head of the madrasa and students, teachers, staff, and all elements of the Islamic boarding school. Methodologically, this research is a qualitative research. Data was collected using in-depth interviews, observation and also documentation studies. After the data is collected, its validity is checked through validation standards, namely trust, transferability, dependence and firmness. The data analysis technique used is data reduction, presenting data, and giving conclusions from the research results. The findings in this study are: (1) In planning it focuses on the quality of graduates with good character who can master formal education and master education in Islamic boarding schools. This begins with careful planning based on the previous year's reflection, which is contained in the work program. MTs Principal Work Program. Al-Fath Gebang on the types of general activities, teaching, student affairs, manpower, infrastructure, administration, finance, and public relations. (2) Organizing the Madrasah Principal and being responsible to the Madrasah Principal in leading, planning, developing, directing, coordinating, supervising and controlling school activities in carrying out Public Relations programs in accordance with the vision, mission and work programs that have been set. (3) The implementation of this communication includes making Asma'ul husna signs, book study programs, sunnah prayers, tadars, and tahfizul Qur'an.

Abstract

The background of this research was that one of the educational leaders who made a major contribution to education in Indonesia was Ki Hajar Dewantara. The educational thought put forward by Ki Hajar Dewantara has a nationalist character. This pattern is influenced by his mastery in the field of general education and his thinking which places more emphasis on teachers. Ki Hajar Dewantara's thoughts in the field of education give a distinctive style to education in Indonesia. The objectives of this research are: To find out the concept of the teacher in the view of Ki Hajar Dewantara and from the perspective of Islamic education. This study uses document library research design for data collection using documentation with work studies. The results of this study are that the teacher concept in Ki Hajar Dewantara's view is reflected in the mottos he has proclaimed, for example ing ngarso sung tulodo (if in front gives an example), ing madyo mangun karso (if in the middle gives encouragement), tut wuri handayani (if behind gives encouragement). There are also momong, among, ngemong. It has a meaning, namely that teachers can educate their students and how to care for them by giving positive values in their lives. Meanwhile, in the perspective of Islamic Education, teachers must also have two criteria, namely Alim and Fair. These two things form the basis because if a teacher is not a pious teacher, then he will have difficulty teaching because he does not know anything that can be conveyed to students. While fair here makes a teacher who can be imitated by students and become an example for them. Never mind what the teacher has taught, even what students see from their teacher will be remembered and become an example.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendiskrisikan Peran ibu karir dalam pendidikan akhlak anak MI Miftahul Ulum Sooko Wringinanom Gresik Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan fenomenologi. Pendekatan fenomenologi, yakni penelitian yang dilakukan untuk memahami fenomena yang dialami oleh subjek penelitian, seperti tingkah laku, motivasi, cara pandang, dan lainnya dilakukan secara menyeluruh dan menggunakan bentuk kata-kata dan bahasa pada suatu kejadian-kejadian secara alamiah. Pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Data penelitian yang terkumpul dianalisis dengan menggunakan teknik analisis deskriptif kualitatif. Metode deskriptif dimaksudkan bahwa peneliti menjelaskan bahwa kondisi riil peran ibu karir dalam pendidikan akhlak anak di MI Miftahul Ulum Sooko Wringinanom Gresik. Hasil dari penelitian menunjukan peran ibu karir dalam pendidikan akhlak adalah Peran MI Miftahul Ulum Sooko Wringinanom Gresik dalam pembinaan Akhlak dengan memberikan keteladanan, pembiasaan di madrasah, memberikan nasihat dan perhatian. Sedangkan peran ibu karir dalam pendidikan akhlak anak MI Miftahul Ulum Sooko Wringinanom Gresik adalah disamping membimbing pendidikan akhlak anak, juga membimbing dalam hal penanaman aqidah dan ibadah dengan cara memberikan keteladanan, pembiasaan di madrasah, memberikan nasihat dan pemberian hukuman dan penghargaan. Faktor pendukung dalam membina akhlak anak yaitu : Keluarga, Sekolah, Masyarakat. dan Faktor penghambat dalam membina akhlak anak yaitu: Media elektronik, Keseringan bermain, Kurangnya dukungan dan perhatian orang tua.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to find out how to apply the Wafa method (right brain). To find out how to improve memorization of the Koran in students of MTs Ubudiyah Pangkalan Brandan, Langkat Regency. To find out the application of the Wafa method (right brain) in increasing Al-Qur'an memorization in MTs Ubudiyah Pangkalan Brandan Langkat students. The model in this study uses the Kurt Lewin research model which consists of 4 stages namely; planning, implementation of action, observation and reflection. The subjects of this study were in class VII MTs Ubudiyah Pangkalan Brandan using the Wafa learning method. Consisting of 35 students,. Data collection techniques using interviews, observation, documentation, and written test assessment The results of the research on student memorization increased after the wafa learning method was applied. It can be seen from the results of observations of student learning activities in cycle II that have increased compared to cycle I. The average observation cycle I was 67%, the average cycle II was 71.34 %. In cycle II there was an increase in the percentage of student learning activities of 4.34% of the cycle. While the results of learning to describe the material also experienced an increase, in the first cycle the first meeting of student learning outcomes to describe the material obtained an average value of 62.71 and the second meeting of student learning outcomes to analyze, the material obtained an average of 67. In cycle II the average learning outcomes increased, the first meeting of student learning outcomes to analyze material obtained an average score of 71.34 and the second meeting of student learning outcomes to analyze material obtained an average of 75.00. From the pretest before the action obtained an average value of 74.48 and the results of the posttest after the action obtained an average value of 87.17. If measured by N-gain, the average student ability is 0.49 in the medium category. This shows that the wafa learning method according to the students of Private MTs Ubudiyah Pangkalan Brandan is considered good, namely between the classification of 56-75%. Thus the application of the wafa learning method can improve students' material description abilities.
