Abstract

This study aims to analyze how national character development is implemented and its direction, goals, and top priorities in Indonesia. This study used the systematic literature review method with a qualitative approach. Fifteen reputable national journal (Sinta) articles and ten reputable international journal (Scopus) articles were looked at for 25 pieces. The data analysis technique used in this research was thematic analysis. Thematic analysis is one way to identify patterns and find themes through the researchers' data. The results of this study showed that Indonesians developed their national character by getting used to participating in leisure and intra-curricular activities and learning. The direction of building a solid national identity was done in three stages. The consolidation stage focuses on ensuring people understand the Pancasila philosophy, the stabilization stage in various subjects, curriculum and school, family and community participation, and the development stage to increase the inauguration of Pancasila ideology-based curriculum. The most crucial part of building national character was ensuring kids grow up to be good, tolerant, and creative citizens, work together, and have integrity and a global outlook.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze strategies universities can use to develop appropriate digital competencies for economics, business, and accounting lecturers and also provides an overview of the framework. This study employed a narrative literature review method with a qualitative approach consisting of several steps: compilation, tabulation, research result comparison, and summarization. The literature sources were the related articles dated within the last 15 years (2009-2023) acquired from reputable international journal sites (Emerald, Elsevier, Springer, Routledge, and MDPI). Content analysis technique was used to analyze the data. The results of this study showed that some existing frameworks in the world rarely include digital ethics dimensions. The digital competency framework for accounting lecturers consists of several elements, including the capacity to use digital sources, assessments, teaching and learning processes, as well as empowering digital literacy for students, small and medium-sized enterprises' people (UMKM), and also now BUMDES' people as well. Strategies that can be carried out by universities in developing human capital for lecturers of economics, business, and accounting in digital competence are by approaching the human capital component through university policies, providing organizational infrastructure and culture (Organization Climate), strategic leadership, or currently being able to adopt digital leadership (leadership component), and various training according to the needs and areas of expertise of lecturers.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the management of digital transformation in the context of Indonesian universities. The explanatory research was employed, utilizing a survey questionnaire administered to a randomly selected sample of 302 individuals comprising members of the ICT alignment team, change team, staff, and lecturers within the PTS environment in the LLDIKTI IV area, Banten & West Java provinces. The data analysis in this study employed covariance-based structural equation modeling (SEM) procedures. Findings from this research indicate that achieving a radical transformation from traditional campus settings to digitalization, while adopting an incremental approach towards a smart university necessitates effective leadership and cultural support. A leadership coalition capable of institutionalizing new values, which subsequently become norms and guide the organizational culture, empowers members and fosters motivation for change oversight and participation. Ultimately, successful change management towards a smart university relies on leadership and culture, collectively institutionalized as a shared mental program, thereby shaping the meaningful trajectory towards a smart university.
