Abstract

This study aims to analyze food security at the village level, especially in Hargorejo Village, because Hargorejo Village has made achievements in reducing food insecurity in Yogyakarta. Thus making Hargorejo Village a pilot village for food security for other villages, especially villages still experiencing food insecurity. This study uses a descriptive qualitative research method, with a literature study using secondary data from the analysis of previous research and several mass media. Researchers used Webb and Rogers' food security theory to find out more details related to food security in Hargorejo Village. There are several indicators of food security: food availability, access, and absorption. The study's results stated that sweet potatoes were the most dominant food supply in Hargorejo Village on the food availability indicator. With data from village food production in Kokap District, this village produced 2,777 tons of cassava per year, then on the food access indicator, in accessing food in Hargorejo Village. More dominant in using physical access than social and economic access. This is evidenced by the description, which shows that there is physical access in the form of opening new land and making reservoirs by the Village Head of Hargorejo Village to supply the availability of food and clean water. Finally, on the food absorption indicator, it is noted that this village has a good record of nutrition and intake, as evidenced by the distribution table for the energy and protein adequacy consumption of rice and cassava by farm and non-farmer households.

Abstract

The Subdistrict Regional Development Fund Program (DPWK) is an innovation from the Cilegon Municipality Government which aims to improve the administrative function of subdistrict government in providing services to the community, encourage accelerated and equitable regional development and encourage the acceleration of regional poverty reduction. The aim of this research is to determine the innovation capacity of the Village Regional Development Fund Program (DPWK) in supporting accelerated and equitable development in Cilegon Municipality. This research method uses a descriptive method with a qualitative approach. Data collection was carried out through interviews, observation and documentation. The research results show that the Subdistrict Regional Development Fund Program has been running well, although there are still several problems such as limited community empowerment programs and only prioritizing regional infrastructure development programs and the low collaborative capacity of program implementers. Abstract

ODF (Open Defecation Free) or Stop Open Defecation is a condition when every individual in the community does not defecate openly. Open defecation (BABS) behavior is still common in Meri Village. Thus, this research will examine in more depth the government's efforts to achieve ODF in Meri Village. This study uses a qualitative approach to the implementation of the first pillar in evidence-based policy theory (Evidence Best Policy) in Meri Village. The research design used is a descriptive research design with a case study approach. The results of the study show that various efforts have been made by the government in realizing the achievement of Open Defecation Free (ODF) in Meri Village, Purbalingga Regency. So that in terms of compliance from the side of the village government as the program implementer it can be said to have complied, but on the community side as the program target has not fully complied. This is because in practice, the implementation of the ODF program in Meri Village still faces various obstacles, such as the large number of people who still defecate openly, and the conversion of the function of the river as an estuary for sewage disposal from residents' latrines because many residents do not yet have a septic tank.

Abstract

Abstract

The increase in cases of violence against women and children in Nagan Raya Regency over the past few years has led to a mission to establish a women-friendly and child-caring environment through various efforts. One of them is through the implementation of the Family Learning Center Program (PUSPAGA) as a forum for the prevention and resolution of cases that occur within the family. This study uses a qualitative method by collecting data on PUSPAGA at the district and village levels, which aims to see the obstacles and barriers to implementation that occur in the field. The results of the study show that implementation constraints lie in the aspects of insufficient budget and human resources, lack of promotion of program introduction to the community and overlapping responsibilities of the village PUSPAGA implementers. Follow-up on these obstacles can be resolved through determining the right priority management by the district and village PUSPAGA implementers in optimizing program implementation.
