Abstract

Loading between phases must always be considered in order to reduce the imbalance, which results in an increase in neutral current and loss of conductor power. Non-linear loads can cause harmonics that affect the increase in copper losses in the transformer. Harmonics can cause distortion of the voltage and current waveforms, so attention must be paid to the specified limits so as not to interfere with the performance of electrical equipment. In addition, these parameters can affect the main electrical parameters, so they must be considered at the specified limits. This study aims to analyze the condition of load imbalance, harmonic content, and the effect on power loss in distribution transformers at Universitas Bangka Belitung. Parameters were measured using a Meterel Power Meter Analyzer type MI 2592 Power Q4 for ten days with the comparative method as a data analysis method. The average current unbalanced percentage is 9.91%, with the highest value at 24.31%. Energy due to power loss in the neutral conductor is 0.46 kWh/10 days, and the total conductor loss is 18.122 kWh/10 days.

Abstract

Bukittinggi City is a city in West Sumatra Province that is one of the popular tourist destinations for the public and tourists. The existence of tourist objects around the city center greatly affects the structure of urban space, in the use of space itself, it is very visible from the distribution of tourist facilities locations that spread around tourist objects that can attract hospitality and trade activities that spread to the downtown area in Bukittinggi. This study aims to determine how the spatial transformation of Bukittinggi City is based on tourism development from 1984 to 2021 and the factors that influence the development of the space. The method used in this research is qualitative. This study found that the City of Bukittinggi when viewed from the area of development of the City of Bukittinggi reflects a concentric pattern, this can be seen from the location of the city of Ngarai Sianok which limits the development of the city to the west and north. Based on the performance agreement letter from the Public Works and Spatial Planning Office of Bukittinggi City in 2020, the percentage of suitability for spatial planning and utilization is 37.50%. The building mass in a developing tourist attraction has a heterogeneous textured area texture, where the shape of the mass and space configuration have different sizes, shapes, and densities. The high density of building mass only occurs in the core area of the city with a percentage above 80%. The Bukittinggi City Regional Spatial Plan article 28 paragraph 2 explains that there are 5 types of road networks, namely primary arterial roads, secondary arteries, secondary collectors, local roads, and freeways. The road network in Bukittinggi City is growing rapidly towards the city center and in several residential areas. The distribution of tourist facilities is generally located in the city center and a small part is spread along Jalan Soekarno Hatta and Jalan Sudirman. The distribution of tourist objects has formed a concentric space in the city's core area with local and regional service scales.

Abstract

The gravity method is a geophysical method that can be used for exploration activities to identify subsurface geological structures through variations in the gravitational field due to differences in rock mass density below the surface based on measurements of variations in the earth's gravitational field. In this study, the gravity method was used to detect subsurface structures. The modeling is used to identify based on the gravity anomaly data that has been obtained and also see the structure of the regional geology of the area. The values depicted at the study site for the complete Bouguer anomaly range from 69.3 mGal to 95.5 mGal. The first horizontal derivative map of the research area shows the maximum value as the contact area or changes in the value of the anomaly caused by geological structures. Then the second vertical derivative map shows the 0-boundary plane identified by faults. In the analysis of the FHD curve, it shows that there is a maximum value that indicates the boundary of the contact area of the layer, and SVD shows a value that passes the zero limit so that it delivers the existence of a fault structure in the Suoh area of West Lampung.

Abstract

The impact of spontaneous fermentation on the physical and chemical characteristics of fluidized cassava starch treated in a sedimentation tank were examined. Tapioka, aci puter, and elot are three types of casava starch products that were made from starch slurry collected at various periods of spontaneous fermentation. By different spontaneous fermentation time, the appearance of granules was significantly changed. Besides, there was diffrent response color to iodine test indicating a different amylopectin chain-length distribution pattern. Among them, there were significant differences in moisture content, swelling power, water absorption ratio, gel formation ability and pH value. These studies showed that spontaneous fermentation might be used to modify casava starch products.
