Abstract

Character education in the current era is very much needed, because the Indonesian nation is experiencing a character crisis in the nation's children which results in the destruction of the Indonesian nation itself. In this case the school environment can be used as a means of building student character values. This research uses a case study qualitative approach. Data were collected using observation, interviews, and documentation methods. The purpose of this study is to describe the process and results of the formation of student character values ​​through the school environment at SDN Gelaran 2. The results of this study are (1) The formation of character values ​​for SDN Gelaran 2 students through the school environment is realized through habituation activities, examples, regulations made by teachers and schools, extracurricular activities, and also through the learning process in the classroom. The supporting and inhibiting factors in the process of forming student character values ​​through the school environment are the family environment, the community environment, and the children themselves (2) The results of the formation of student character values ​​through the school environment are very good. With the formation of student character values ​​through this school environment, students can behave well, be more polite and courteous to teachers and friends, students respect and respect each other more, students have a 5S culture (smile, greeting, greeting, polite, and courteous), and obey the rules. The polite behavior of students is shown by student attitudes such as greeting the teacher when passing by, respecting the teacher by walking behind him, saying excuse me when walking in front of the teacher, knocking on the door before entering the classroom, taking something with his right hand, looking down when the teacher is giving advice.

Abstract

Berfikir kritis sangat diperlukan dalam pembelajaran karena dapat mengembangkan pengetahuan secara luas bagi siswa. Kemampuan berfikir kritis dapat di bentuk melalui kegiatan proses pembelajaran di sekolah. Kemampuan berfikir kritis juga merupakan dasar dalam suatu proses pembelajaran. Model ini bisa digunakan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berfikir kritis siswa. Model Role Playing bisa digunakan sebagai model pembelajaran yang nyaman dan menyenangkan tanpa menghilangkan esensi belajar yang berlangsung. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan Pengaruh Model Role Playing Terhadap Kemampuan Berfikir Kritis Siswa. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Pre-Eksperimental Design dengan desain “one group pre test post test”. Populasi penelitian ini yaitu seluruh siswa kelas IV sebanyak 30 siswa. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data menunjukan bahwa hasil “pre test” sebelum diberikan perlakuan nilai paling rendah yaitu 40 dan nilai tertinggi yaitu 80 dengan nilai ratarata 64,87 sedangkan untuk “post test” setelah diberikan perlakuan nilai paling rendah yaitu 72 dan nilai tertinggi yaitu 100 dengan nilai rata-rata 88,00. ”Jadi, terdapat peningkatan setelah belajar menggunakan model role playing. Dalam hasil tersebut menyatakan bahwa ada pengaruh terhadap kemampuan berfikir kritis siswa kelas IV tingkat SD.

Abstract

Story books are media that attract children's attention because there children will be more interested in reading and understanding the story by using colorful pictures. This story book makes it easier for children to understand the contents of the story, especially books that discuss history if only described. Thematic books are very boring and unattractive and make children lazy to read them, so that there is a lack of understanding of the history of Indonesian heritage if children like to read interesting story books, children will easily understand about the history and create love for Indonesia, if the social studies material is class IV theme 5 sub-theme 1 is packaged with story book media, children will be happy to read it so that it fosters interest in reading so that students are interested in reading to the end. Abstract

The development of diorama media asan effort to provide education on water cycle diorama media is based on several gaps including students who have never received interesting education on water cyclematerial, diorama media are not available, on average students do not understand the water cycle process. Development of diorama media and implementation for students of SDN Sukorejo1Perak.the development aims to producevalid diorama media. thedevelopment of this diorama media uses the Borg and Gall development model. There are 8 development processes that have been implemented in this research, namely, 1) potential and problems, 2) gathering information, 3) product design, 4) design validation , 5) design improvement, 6) product testing, 7) product revision, 8)trial use. The assessment of the diorama media was carried out by instrument experts, material experts, media experts, users of educators, as well as fifth grade students of SDN Sukorejo 1 Perak. The aresults obtained by the media expert validator is 95,58%, the material expert validator is 82,35 %. The results of the percentage of instrument expert validators are 80%, the results of user of educator trials are 77,7%. The results of small group trials were conducted with 8 studens witha percentage of91,5%, field trials were conducted with 16 students with a percentage of 90%. Based on the results of theoverall data analysis, it can be concluded that the development of diorama media is feasible to beused as a learning medium.

Abstract

This study aims to determine student learning outcomes of critical thinking before using the PBL model on theme 5 sub-theme 3 learning 1 in grade 3 SDN Gedangan Student learning outcomes in critical thinking after using the PBL model on theme 5 sub-theme 3 learning 1 in grade 3 SDN Gedangan 1, and To find out the response after learning to think critically using the PBL model on theme 5 sub-theme 3 learning 1 in grade 3 SDN Gedangan 1. The results of this study are expected to provide ideas that can be used as a source of information to increase knowledge, as well as input and consideration for institutions that related to the PBL learning model. The design of this study was pre-experimental and the design used was a one group pretest-posttest design. The research subjects were 3rd grade students of SDN Gedaangan 1 Sumobito Jombang for the academic year 2021/2022. Data collection techniques using tests. The study was conducted in the even semester of January 2022. Students were given pre-test and before learning using the PBL learning model in learning theme 5 sub-theme 3 learning 1 in grade 3 SDN Gedangan 1, from the pretest and posttest tests carried out, the average pretest result was 62 with 18 students scored below the KKM and 16 students scored above the KKM, while the posttest average was 90, none of the students scored below the KKM. The positive response of student questionnaire data is 68.6%. These results indicate that the use of the PBL model in learning theme 5 sub-theme 3 learning 1 in class III SDN Gedangan 1 can have a positive effect on student learning outcomes and interest in learning. Bachelor of Education for Elementary School Teachers, Faculty of Tarbiyah and Teacher Training. Nahdlatul Ulama Islamic University Jepara. Supervisor: Muhammad Misbahul Munir, M.Pd. 140. This study aims to describe the implementation, supporting factors, barriers and student responses in applying multiple intelligences-based learning to high-class students at Panggung State Elementary School, Kedung District, Jepara Regency. This research is a qualitative descriptive study. The subjects of this study were teachers and high grade students (grades IV, V and VI). Data collection techniques in this study were observation, interviews, documentation and questionnaires. The data analysis technique in this study uses data reduction steps, data presentation and conclusion drawing. The results showed that the implementation of multiple intelligences-based learning activities consisted of 3 stages, namely initial activities, core activities and closing activities. In the initial activity, apperception and motivation were given. The apperception and motivation are in the form of alpha zone activities, warmer, pre-teaching and scene setting. While in learning activities students are facilitated to learn through the eight types of intelligence, namely: linguistic, logical-mathematical, spatial-visual, kinesthetic, musical, interpersonal, intrapersonal and naturalist. Learning assessment is done authentically. The supporting factor in implementing multiple intelligences-based learning is teacher competence. The obstacles experienced in implementing multiple intelligences-based learning are students. Student response data in this study were taken from student response questionnaires and can be categorized as very good student responses to multiple intelligences-based learning. Abstract

This study aims to develop KUNRAJA media on Javanese script writing material in elementary schools in grade III UPT SD Negeri 43 Gresik for the 2020/2021 school year. The process of developing learning media uses the modified and simplified ADDIE model, namely, analysis (Analysis), design (Design), development (Development), implementation (Implementation) and evaluation (Evaluation). The results of the development of learning media in the form of KUNRAJA media contain material for writing Javanese script. Sources of data in this development research are material experts and media experts totaling 4 validators and class III students with a total of 28. The data collection used is the validation of learning media and student learning outcomes tests. With data analysis, namely, analysis of the validity of learning media, analysis of the practicality of learning media and the effectiveness of learning media. Based on the results of the descriptive analysis of the validation data, it was obtained that the development of the KUNRAJA media on the Javanese script writing material in elementary schools met the good criteria, as follows: a) The results of the validation of learning media conducted by 4 validators obtained a percentage of 100% by material experts 1 and a percentage of 100% by material expert 2 with a total average rating of 100%, and a percentage of 100% by media expert 1 and a percentage of 92.5% by media expert 2 with a total average rating of 96.25% which is categorized as valid and can be used in the learning process, b) Categorized as practical from the results of the analysis in the practicality of learning media by the validators indicating that the media can be used with little or no revision. c) while in the learning outcomes test, students who scored 70 were 28 students with a percentage of 93.1% which was categorized as effective for use in the learning process. Abstract

This development research aims to know the effectiveness of animal monopoly learning media (MONOWAN) theme 7 sub theme 2 about animals around me students in 1st Grade of MI Al-Ma'arif Sukomulyo. The process of developing learning media using a modified and simplified 4-D model is defined, design, develop and without disseminate. The result of the development of learning media in the form of Animal Monopoly. The data source in this development study is class I students MI Al-Ma'arif Sukomulyo who numbered 33 students. Data collection used is validation of learning media validation of learning materials, questionnaire response of students, and test of learning results. With data analysis, the analysis of the validity of learning media, the analysis of the practicality of learning media, and the effectiveness of learning media. Based on the results of descriptive analysis of validation data and trial data obtained that the development of Animal Monopoly learning media for materials on the theme of 7 sub themes 2 learning 1 grade I MI Al-Ma'arif Sukomulyo meets the criteria well, which is as follows : a) The results of validation of learning media performed by validators obtain 81,66% percentage that are categorized in valid and can be used during the learning process , b) Practically categorized from the results of analysis in the practicality of learning media by validators shows that the media can be used with little revision or without revision, c) Categorized effectively from the results of the analysis of learning completeness, the results of the percentage of classical learning completeness of 96,969%, then it can be said that the learning completeness of the learners has been achieved, and the percentage of the results of the student's response to the learning media of Animal Monopoly by 100% can be said to be positive. Abstract

The development of this textbook aims to be able to assist students in self-study at home as well as teachers in understanding students, especially in the topic of ​​circumference and area of ​​ two-dimensional figure. This research is a textbook development research using 3 of the 4 steps of the 4D Development Model, namely Define (defining), Design (design), Development (development). The results of the media in the form of Textbooks of the topic Circumference and area of ​​ two-dimensional figure. The data obtained from this study were teacher interviews and validation of learning media. There are four kinds of validation sheets used, namely one for material validation, presentation validation, linguistic validation, and graphic validation. Based on the expert validator's assessment of the Circumference and area of ​​ two-dimensional figure Textbooks for Grade IV Elementary School, the results of the material validator's assessment showed an average value of 90% which was categorized as valid. The results of the language validator show an average value of 91.6% which is categorized as valid. The results of the presentation validator show an average of 85.4% so it is categorized as valid. The results of the graphical validator show an average value of 95.8% which can be categorized as valid. The assessments of the validators can be said as valid with a few revisions or additions to complete the textbook. Keywords : 4D Model, Textbook, Perimeter and Area, two-dimensional figure

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the contextual learning model on learning outcomes of Natural Sciences material for the fifth grade elementary school students. The method used in this study is a quantitative method with the research design used is Pretest Posttest Control Group Design. The sample used in this study found 23 students consisting of 11 female students and 12 male students. Data analysis techniques used in this study include normality test, homogeneity test, and t-test. The results showed that there was a significant effect on the effectiveness of the contextual learning model in learning natural sciences on ecosystem materials. This can be shown by the value of the hypothesis test with a t-test of 5.501 > 2.015 (df; 44). On the other hand, which shows the significance value is the result obtained by 0.003 < 0.05 (5%). So it can be concluded that there are significant differences in the results of the post-test of students in the control and experimental groups.
