Dalam Pengembangan dan pengolahan SDA maritim memerlukan kerjasama multidisiplin ilmu, dimana kesemua disiplin ilmu tersebut berperan besar dalam menjadikan Indonesia sebagai poros maritim dunia. Oleh karena itu diperlukan inovasi dan sinergi untuk menghasilkan riset tentang teknologi kelautan oleh perguruan tinggi, lembaga-lembaga penelitian dan industri dapat memberikan kontribusi terhadap issue tersebut. Tujuan Zona Laut adalah sebagai wadah menyalurkan pemikiran, ide-ide cemerlang dan konstruktif komprehensif sehingga menjadi bagian usulan-usulan solusi bagi kemajuan pembangunan Sumber Daya Kelautan Indonesia. Abstract

Fishermen are very dependent on the season. Measuring the welfare of fishermen requires indicators that are quick and precise to see a picture of the welfare that has been achieved. One indicator that is believed to be used to see household welfare is the Fishermen's Exchange Rate (NTN) indicator. The purpose of this Fishermen's Exchange Rate research is to find out the characteristics of fishermen and the achievement of Fishermen's Exchange Rates in Situbondo Regency so that it can be used to provide input in the formulation of targets and formulation of policies to improve fishermen's welfare. The method used in this Fishermen Exchange Rate research is a survey. The number of respondents in the Fishermen Exchange Rate (NTN) Study was 189 respondents. The characteristics of the respondents in this study include the age group and educational level. Characteristics of fisherman respondents by age group consisted of 43% of fisherman respondents in the age group of 41-50 years, 22% in the age group of 30-40 years, 20% in the age group under 30 years and at least 15% in the age group of 51-60 years. The results of the analysis of the characteristics of fisherman respondents based on their level of education showed that the majority of respondents graduated from elementary school (SD) and below, namely 69%, 23% graduated from junior high school (SLTP) and only 8% had attended senior high school (SLTA) education. The NTN value of Situbondo Regency for the period January - October 2022 is 1.043 or the NTN value is around number one, which means that fishing families in Situbondo Regency in 2022 are only able to fulfill their daily needs and are categorized as vulnerable to poverty and are not yet able to consume secondary or tertiary needs, to save in the form of investment goods.

Abstract

Kompleksitas dinamika pelabuhan sesuai dengan struktur mekanis membuat pemahaman tentang penguatan strukturpelabuhan sangat bervariasi. Bahkan, dalam makalah analisis ini, kami akan berharap dapat memberikan tinjauan ringkastentang pengamatan, teori, dan hasil model pada beberapa beban signifikan akibat gaya seret fluida baik gaya hidro danaerodinamika yang disebabkan oleh lambung kapal ke dalam struktur pelabuhan (quay wall). Beban ini adalah varian dandapat diklasifikasikan dalam makalah kami sebagai hambatan yang disebabkan oleh beban angin selama tambatan kapal,rotasi kapal di area belok serta hambatan yang disebabkan oleh kapal yang lewat di kapal yang ditambatkan. Dengan katalain, Tambatan kapal sangat penting untuk pelabuhan dan terminal, yang bekerja dengan kapal besar dan kapal denganarea permukaan angin besar yang akibatnya menciptakan gaya hidrodinamik dan aerodinamis yang tinggi pada sistemtambatan dinding kapal dan dermaga. Selanjutnya, kami menerapkan alat CFD untuk menentukan hambatan fluida yangbekerja pada lambung dan dinding dermaga pelabuhan dengan menggunakan estimasi observasional dan dibandingkandengan data eksperimental di beberapa pelabuhan tersibuk di dunia untuk memvalidasi keakuratan CFD.

Abstract

Pada 2019, pemerintah mencanangkan sebagian wilayah Kutai Kartanegara dan Penajam Paser Utara sebagai lokasipembangunan ibu kota baru Republik Indonesia. Lalu lintas kapal yang semakin padat di perairan Teluk Balikpapanseiring perpindahan ibu kota negara, akan meningkatkan risiko tabrakan kapal. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untukmengetahui tingkat risiko tubrukan kapal dengan menggunakan matriks konsekuensi/probabilitas. Matrikskonsekuensi/probabilitas menggunakan nilai frekuensi yang diperoleh dari perhitungan menggunakan traffic based modeldan nilai hasil yang diperoleh dari kasus tabrakan yang pernah terjadi sebelumnya. Dari hasil penelitian ini terlihat jelasbahwa risiko tubrukan di perairan Teluk Balikpapan termasuk dalam kategori ALARP, dengan risiko sedang dan tinggi.Ini berarti bahwa pemrosesan lebih lanjut diperlukan untuk membawanya ke tingkat yang dapat diterima.

Abstract

Tambak garam terdiri dari beberapa kolam dengan fungsinya masing masing. Pada kolam kolam air tersebut terdapat biota mikro lengkap dengan nutrien yang mendukung asupan nutrisinya. Nutrien yang terakumulasi terlalu banyak dalam air akan mempengaruhi kualitas hasil produksi garam. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kandungan nutrien yang terdiri dari nitrat, fosfat dan amonia serta pengaruhnya terhadap parameter kualitas air. Penelitian dilakukan pada 2 tambak garam di Kabupaten Bangkalan dan Pamekasan.  Pengambilan sampel air dilakukan di air baku, bozem, peminihan, dan meja kristalisasi  tambak garam yang kemudian sampel air tersebut dimasukan kedalam botol PET. Selanjutnya, sampel tersebut air dianalisis kandungan nitrat dengan metode brusin disulfanilat (SNI 06-2480-1991), asam askorbat untuk fosfat (SNI 06-6989.31-2005) dan alkalin sitrat untuk amonia (SNI 06-6989.30-2005). Hasil uji Kruskal-Wallis menunjukan adanya perbedaan kandungan nitrat, fosfat dan amonia  yang signifikan pada masing masing tiitk pengambilan sampel. Hal tersebut menunjukkan bahwa tiap kolam dengan kondisi kualitas air dan lingkungan sekitar mempengaruhi kandungan nutrien di air baku garam.

Abstract

Ship placement along a ferry route is commonly not similar according to tonnage and cargo capacity, such as what happened on the ferry route between Bira and Pamatata in South Sulawesi. The Bira-Pamatata ferry route is operated by three ferries, each with a different load capacity and tonnage of KMP Balibo 540 GT, KMP Kormomolin 884 GT, and KMP Bontoharu 1053 GT. Variations in load capacity and ship operating costs will undoubtedly affect the income disparities between ferry operators. The length of the distance of the ferry route and the number of frequencies also have an impact on how much a ship costs to operate. The purpose of this research is to establish how the length of the distance of the ferry route and ship frequency affected the operational cost for the ship of different sized. The benefit of this research is can be applied to estimate the optimum ship size regarding operational cost for a particular trajectory distance and frequency. The analysis's results establish that ship operational costs are influenced by distance. The cost of operating will rise linearly as the length of the distance of the ferry route increases. There is a rise in operational cost (Rp/SUP) for variations in distance of Rp.262.40 for KMP Balibo, Rp.213.13 for KMP Kormomolin, and Rp.234.49 for KMP Bontoharu for each 1-mile added. The ship's operating time is affected by distance as well. The frequency that can be reached by ship decreases as the distance gets lengthy because the operating time of the ship also gets longer. Operational cost (Rp/SUP) for variations in frequency tends to decrease exponentially as a result of decreasing fixed costs. The analysis's results establish the operational cost (Rp/SUP) for the three cheapest distance and frequency variations sequential by KMP Balibo 540 GT, KMP Kormomolin 884 GT, and KMP Bontoharu 1053 GT for the 87-mile below. When the distance is 87 miles above, the graphic lines between KMP Kormomolin and KMP Bontoharu intersect at specific frequency variations, resulting in lower operational costs (Rp/SUP) for KMP Kormomolin than KMP Bontoharu.

Abstract

The 70 GT multipurpose fishing vessel is a type of vessel designed to operate longer at sea. This ship has a relatively wider cargo space with a variety of fishing gear (multipurpose). The ship is propelled by a 283 kW diesel engine and the source of electric power is supplied by a 20 kW diesel generator. The purpose of this study is to determine the amount of electric power used for ship lighting. The method used is the lumen method or the zonal cavity method. This method is used to determine the proper lighting standards on board according to regulatory standards from the American Bureau of Shipping (ABS) class. The results of the study showed that the total electric power needed for lighting on board was 0.4 kW. LED lights are an alternative in determining the type of lighting that is energy efficient and durable on board.-

Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic has caused the Indonesian government to restrict the movement of communities to prevent the spread of the Corona Virus. This regulation has been enforced by the local government of Makassar City as well. The restriction affects the community's economy, which includes business activities related to population movement. Similarly, the restriction impacts the sea transportation in Makassar City, particularly the Makassar-Barrang Lompo route. The limitation of the passenger-carrying capacity to 50% of the maximum ship carrying capacity and the limitation of working hours have caused a decrease in the productivity of sea transportation on this route. In addition, the population movement on the Makassar – Barrang Lompo route has declined, causing the demand for sea transportation to decrease as the number of service frequencies decreases. It directly affects the revenue of sea transportation. As the tariff applied during the pandemic RP. 25,000, this study aims to determine the minimum tariff for operating ships so that it can be seen with the decreasing productivity and number of ships frequency, whether the applied tariff can cover the operational costs of the ships. Determination of the minimum tariff using the Required Freight Rates (RFR) method. RFR is the minimum rate that can cover the expenditures related to ship operational activities. The result shows that the minimum tariffs for the six ships operating during the Covid-19 pandemic were Rp. 11582 – Rp. 32,486. This indicates that the minimum tariffs of some operating ships are still higher than the applied tariff. Therefore, the ship fares on the Makassar-Barrang Lompo route need to be reviewed if the policy of restricting people's movements is reenforced.

Abstract

Smart ports are an innovative solution for the world's port industry in the application of integrated technology and environmental sustainability to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of operational services. The concept of smart ports is usually widely adapted to container ports because most of the world's trade is carried by sea in containers. Terminal II of the New Makassar Container Port which is a new container port in Indonesia and is expected to develop into a gateway for world trade in Eastern Indonesia in order to improve the socio-economic region is required to innovate and keep abreast of world port trends. Therefore, to support Terminal II of the New Makassar Container Port to develop into a smart port, a study was conducted to determine the extent to which the port met the criteria for a smart port. In carrying out the research, direct observation and interview methods were used with selected respondents at Terminal II of the New Makassar Container Port. Based on the observation results, it was found that Terminal II of the New Makassar Container Port had fulfilled the productivity criteria in the operational domain and the safety and security management system criteria as well as the Integrated monitoring and optimization system.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the existence of public policy uncertainty in the concept of good governance which can be a source of non-compliance by people to law or public policy, understanding of competence and commitment to understanding the marketing of domestic products is still low and the facilities and infrastructure in increasing the marketing potential of domestic products are less supportive. The population in this study were MSME industry players and 250 respondents. Data collection was carried out using the questionnaire method via Google form and direct interviews. The test of this instrument was carried out on 50 industrial players in the 3 tp area. The methodology used uses a qualitative approach where data collection techniques use observation techniques (observations), literature studies and interviews (interviews). Analysis of the data used is to use a form of qualitative descriptive method. The observation results obtained are the ability to implement public services in carrying out and serving to provide services to help the community according to what is promised in an appropriate and reliable manner and the reliability of employees in providing services greatly assists the community in providing the promised services, accurately and as expected. The third dimension is Responsiveness ( responsiveness).
