Abstract

Based on field studies, this study aims to improve student learning outcomes through the use of Student Facilitator and Explaining learning models in science subjects class V at SDN Biro. The subjects in this study were students of class V B of SDN Biro with a total of 22 students consisting of 8 male students and 14 female students. This type of research is classroom action research, which is carried out in two cycles, each cycle consisting of several stages: planning, implementing, observing, and reflecting. Classroom action research is said to be successful if it meets the limitation indicator of classical learning outcomes of at least 75 percent. The data obtained from this study include student learning outcomes taken through the provision of tests in the form of multiple choice of 10 numbers. The results of the first cycle showed that the average student learning outcomes were 68.18% with 69.31% of student activity while the percentage of teacher activity in the first cycle was 78% and had fulfilled the sufficient criteria. In the second cycle research the classical completeness average reached a percentage of 85%, and the percentage of teacher activity was 95.45% while the percentage of student activity was 88.63%. Based on the results of the second cycle it can be that learning with the Student Facillitator and Explaining models can improve the learning outcomes of fifth grade students of SDN Biro 2019/2020 school year.

Abstract

The problem in this study is that children's language development has not developed as expected. The aim is to determine the effect of storytelling methods on children's language development. The research method used is a quantitative approach and experimental research types. The subjects of this study were 21 children in Group B2 TK Adhyaksa XXII Palu. Data collection techniques are carried out through observation, interviews, and documentation. Data processing was done by using percentage techniques and t test (paired sample t-test). Data from the recapitulation of observations of children's language development before being given treatment in the form of a storytelling method, in the three observed aspects, there were 0% in the BSB category, 12.70% in the BSH category, 52.38% in the MB category, and 34.92% in the BB category. After being given treatment in the form of a storytelling method, from the results of the recapitulation of observations of children's language development in the three observed aspects, it was obtained an average of 55.55% in the BSB category, 22.22% in the BSH category, 22.23% in the MB category, and 0% in the BB category. Based on the results of the t-test calculation data, it is obtained that the value of tug> t table (20.088> 1.724), and a significant value of 0.000 <0.05. it can be concluded that Ho is rejected and H1 is accepted, which means there is an influence of the storytelling method on children's language development in Group B2 TK Adhyaksa XXII Palu.

Abstract

The main problem of this research is how relationship between workplace, work motivation, and implementation of guidance and counseling service. The research intended to identify and describe the relationship between workplace, work motivation, and implementation of guidance and counseling service. There were three variable in this research, is: workplace, work motivation, and implementation of guidance and counseling service. The samples on this research were 60 guidance teachers in secondary school. The data collected by having questionnaire. The data was analyzed in descriptive and inferentially. Descriptive analysis was frequency distribution and percentage. Inferential analysis intended to test the research hypothesis with single regression analysis and multiple regression analysis. The research showed that there were 36,66% of guidance teachers had support classification on workplace, there ware 35.00% of guidance teachers had high classfication on work motivation, and there were 33,33% of guidance teachers had high classification on implementation of guidance and counseling service. The conclusion of the hypothesis testing were a) there was a positive relationship between workplace and implementation of guidance and counseling service, b) there was a positive relationship between work motivation and implementation of guidance and counseling service, and c) there was a positive relationship between workplace and work motivation simultantly with implementation of guidance and counseling service.

Abstract

The research objectives were to determine the introduction of children in the cultivation of religious moral values, to determine the application of play activities, and to determine whether there was an effect of playing activities on the cultivation of religious moral values ​​in group B of Al-Khairaat Taipa Kindergarten, Taipa Village, North Palu District, Palu City. The formulation of the problem in the research is how to introduce children to the cultivation of religious moral values, how to implement play activities, and whether there is an effect of playing activities on the cultivation of religious moral values ​​in group B of Al-Khairaat Taipa Kindergarten, Taipa Village, North Palu District, Palu City. The research method used is a quantitative method with this type of research is experimental. The research subjects were 15 children. Data were collected through observation and documentation sheets. The data collection technique is done by using percentage technique and T-test. This is from the descriptive analysis, before being given the average value of the development of children's religious moral values, there were no children in the BSB category, 20% children in the BSH category, 26.67% children in the MB category and 53 children, 33% in the BB category. Furthermore, after being given treatment, the average value of the development of children's religious moral values ​​was 25% in the BSB category, 44.46% in the BSH category, 30 MB categories, and none in the BB category. Meanwhile, from the t test it can be explained that the t value is 18,500 with a significant 0,000. Because sig <0.05, it can be concluded that H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted, therefore, it can be concluded that playing puzzles has a significant effect on children's religious moral values

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to examine the effect of future planning information services on career choices, so that students are able to plan their careers optimally according to their potential. This study used a one group design research design. The data collection technique used a questionnaire, so the sample amounted to 29 people, namely students of class XI Ipa 1. Data analysis techniques obtained t-count greater than t-table (4,56>1,70). So Ha is accepted and H0 is rejected. The hypothesis which, states “there is a significant difference between career choices before and after being provided with future planning information services”. So it can be concluded that there is an effect of providing future planning information services on the career choices of class XI Ipa 1 students.

Abstract

This action research tries to improve the PKn learning outcomes of Grade VI students of SD Inpres 2 Ujuna. The subjects of this study were Grade VI students of SD Inpres 2 consisting of 37 students, consisting of 16 male students and 21 female students. Data was collected through teacher and student observation sheets and test results of the actions. The results of the study in the first cycle showed the classical absorption of students by 72.02% and the percentage of classical completeness of 54.05%. Whereas in the second cycle the percentage of classical absorption was obtained 82.07% and the percentage of classical learning completeness was 86.48%. Based on the percentage of completeness of learning outcomes in cycle I and cycle II, there has been a significant increase in classical absorption, an increase of 10.05% from the first cycle of 72.02% and the second cycle of 82.07%. Likewise in classical learning completeness of 32.435 from 54.05% in the first cycle and 86.48% in the second cycle. Based on these results it can be concluded that using the inquiry method can improve student learning outcomes of SD Inpres 2 Ujuna on Civics learning.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to improve student learning outcomes in fifth grade. This study uses a Kemmis and Mc. Taggart which consists of two cycles. In each cycle two meetings were held. The results of the study, the pre-action percentage of classical absorption 48.26% and classical learning completeness 18.51%, the results of the first cycle research with 66.86% classical absorption and classical learning completeness 78.26%. Increased in the second cycle with the results of the percentage of classical absorption of 76.52% and classical learning completeness of 91.30%. The average activity of teacher and student activities in the research activities of teachers in the first cycle of 71.42%, meeting student activities 75% , increased in cycle II teacher activity 92.85%, and student activities 92.85%. Based on these results it can be concluded that by applying the PKEM learning model can improve student learning outcomes in social studies subjects in class V SDN 2 Sindue.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the role of teachers in implementing Class Management to Improve Student Achievement in SD Inpres 1 Toboli Utara Parigi District. The results of this study indicate that the implementation of classroom management or classroom management carried out by the teacher is optimal, such as: the teacher before starting the learning activities make preparations first, before carrying out the teacher's learning, first condition the class so that learning takes place more effectively, before starting the learning the teacher has prepared the device first learning such as lesson plans, syllabus and others, the teacher before carrying out learning first provides motivation or reinforcement to students, the teacher before carrying out learning first checks the presence of students, before carrying out the learning process the teacher tells students to pray first, the teacher has created and maintain the atmosphere and classroom conditions in the course of the learning process, the teacher has encouraged students to study hard and diligently to achieve learning activities and teachers carry out supervision of students in progress its learning activities.

Abstract

Main problem in this study is inferiority of learning result by SDN Watusampu’s 4th grade students on arts and talent. This study purpose is proofing how giving task methods can improve SDN Watusampu 4th grade student’s learning results of arts’ class. This study’s sample is 31 students. Type of this study is study of action class which have 2 cycles, each cycles composed of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. Result of this study proving there’s improving of student’s learning result from first cycle to the second cycle. Study’s result on first cycle obtained result students who pass the class are 12 with percentage 38,71%, while on second cycle get significant improving with students who pass the class are 29 with percentage 93,55% and only 2 students yet. It shown from first cycle to the second cycle have improving 54,84%. According to this study, using giving task methods which implicated on art’s class can improving learning process on SDN Watusampu’s 4th grade students.

Abstract

The objectives of this study were (1) to see the implementation of the PPKn learning process in fostering democratic attitudes of students in class XI MIA 2 SMA Labschool UNTAD Palu; (2) the impact of the impact of the PPKn learning process on the behavior and attitudes of class XI MIA 2 SMA Labschool UNTAD Palu. This type of research is qualitative research with a qualitative descriptive approach. The unit of analysis in this study was students of class XI MIA 2 as well as the subject. The informants were 1 PPKn teacher and 8 students of class XI MIA 2 with purposive sampling technique. The data techniques used were observation, interviews, questionnaires and documentation. The results showed that the implementation of the PPKn learning process in fostering democratic attitudes of class XI MIA 2 students was carried out through two strategies. First, through learning materials to behave politely in democratic Pancasila in accordance with the 1945 Constitution of the Republic of Indonesia. Second, through various learning methods, methods of discussion, sermons and question and answer, and the media used by whiteboards, worksheets and module books, from the application The PPKn teacher gave students to make students behave more politely in accordance with Pancasila and the 1945 Constitution. The impact of the PPKn learning process on the behavior and democratic attitudes of class XI MIA 2 students, namely students becoming more tolerant, respectful, free to express opinions, open and communication, as well as upholding togetherness between students with each other. It can be perfected that the implementation of the PPKn learning process in fostering democratic values ​​of class XI MIA 2 students at SMA Labschool UNTAD Palu can be accepted by all students which can be seen from the student's behavior that reflects democratic values ​​both in class and outside the classroom.
