Abstract

In this study, glass fiber and palm fiber reinforced composite materials were used with a honeycomb structure, especially a sandwich. The use of this composite material was chosen because it is environmentally friendly and can also be recycled. The use of glass fiber and fiber fiber reinforced composite materials was chosen because it is a lightweight material and also palm fiber is an abundant material and has not been utilized optimally, strong and also cheap. Material testing is done without knowing the compressive strength of the composite material itself. From the test data obtained, it shows the ability to build a honeycomb construction with the average load results being 16,979 N, 11,148 N, 10,948 N. Solidworks is a simulation software used in this study to be used to compare the maximum capacity of stress, strain and displacement results. material testing with simulation results obtained shows that the critical area for stress in each specimen is 25.92 MPa, 17.01 MPa and 16.71 Mpa

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of learning achievement on social studies subjects with the formation of social competence of students of class VI Public Elementary Schools in North Sulawesi Province, and to find out how the influence of ethnicity in the formation of social competence of students of class VI of State Elementary Schools in North Sulawesi after attending the subjects Social Science lessons. In this study, the data collection methods used were: the questionnaire method (questionnaire): the questionnaire in this study consisted of questions that were used to collect data related to the Social Competence variable. Documentation method is used to retrieve data about learning achievement which can be seen from the value of learning outcomes in the form of values ​​from report cards. Hypothesis test using regression analysis significance test, simple linear, simple correlation, significance test and simple correlation analysis, partial correlation analysis and significance test of partial correlation analysis. This study proves that there is a significant effect of the learning achievement variable on the formation of social competence in grade VI elementary school students based on ethnicity throughout North Sulawesi. The influence of learning achievement on the formation of social competence of sixth grade elementary school students based on ethnicity throughout North Sulawesi is 7.3%. But the effect is significant when the value of learning achievement increases. The sixth grade elementary school students have higher learning achievement in this study. But still in the medium category or the same as other ethnic values. The relationship between learning achievement and the formation of social competence is in the low category.

Abstract

In this study, the sandwich structure is known as a core attached to two rigid and strong shells; The core distributes the load from one shell to another. While the skin contributes to bending and turgidity, adhesives that carry shear and axial loads to the core material are used as bonding agents. As a binder in this composite used polyester resin. The honeycomb sandwich panels made are 50mm high and 50mm wide, while the panel lengths are made in three variations, namely with honeycomb lengths of 50mm, 75mm and 100mm. This honeycomb sandwich panel was tested by bending test to obtain flexural strength and stiffness values. Of the three panels that were made identically for each honeycomb core height, the highest flexural strength and stiffness figures were obtained in the panel with a honeycomb core height of 50mm, namely with a flexural strength number of 5.08kg/mm2 and a stiffness value of 12.74kg/mm.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine whether the Family Environment Affects the Compliance with Student Disciplines at the State Elementary School II Tomohon, Matani District, Central Tomohon, and to find out how much the Family Environment Affects the Compliance with the Student Disciplines at the State Elementary School II Tomohon, Matani, Central Tomohon District. In this study, the data collection methods used were: the questionnaire method (questionnaire). The questionnaire in this study consisted of questions that were used to collect data related to social competence variables. The school environment at State Elementary School II Tomohon has been well implemented in supporting the teaching and learning system. The implementation of teacher professionalism at State Elementary School II Tomohon is still quite good. Teacher professionalism has a low or no relationship with the creation of a good school environment. The influence of teacher professionalism on the school environment at State Elementary School II Tomohon is significant and linear, so that the better the professionalism of the teacher, the better the school environment.

Abstract

Pekanbaru City is one of the cities with a population of 1,028,237 people. This will have an impact on uncontrolled population growth if it is not immediately overcome by implementing the maximum family planning program. The role of extension workers is very important in providing information regarding the importance of implementing family planning. So to be able to assess the implementation of family planning counseling, it is necessary to assess based on skills, professionalism, and responsibility and identify inhibiting factors in the implementation of the kb program counseling. In carrying out this research, researchers used qualitative methods with a descriptive approach. The results of this study also explained that the implementation of counseling for the family planning program by extension workers during the Covid-19 pandemic has been maximized. information because the use of this technology is one of the connecting media in providing information, the number of Human Resources (HR), namely extension workers, needs to be increased in quantity and there is still low community participation in carrying out the family planning (KB) program.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to improve the learning outcomes of the fifth graders of elementary school Indonesian. This research activity was carried out at Kombi State Elementary School. This activity was carried out using the classroom action research method. Classroom action research activities according to Kemmis and McTaggart's instructions consist of four components: 1) planning, 2) action, 3) observation, 4) reflection, using a spiral model. Based on the results of the study, it can be said that the application of the Role Playing learning model can improve teacher performance in the implementation of learning to write simple dialogue texts. Where the achievement of learning outcomes in cycle 1 is only 60.2% has not reached the minimum completeness criteria value, and increased in cycle 2 to reach 80.6% has reached the minimum completeness criteria value. Improving the way teachers in carrying out the learning process is able to improve student learning outcomes. Increase student activity in learning.

Abstract

Kale are plants that have a variety of nutrients that are good for the body, but there is a land function change that causes land to be cultivated is decreasing which is a production problem that can be overcome using the hydroponics wick system. This study aims to obtain the best treatment of the type of planting media for the growth and yield of kale plants (Brassica oleracea var. Acephala) on the hydroponics of the wick system. The research was carried out at the Telaga Desa screen house located in the KIIC Industrial Estate, Telukjambe Timur District, Karawang Regency from May to June 2022. The research method used was an experimental method with a single-factor group Randomized Block Design (RBD) environment design consisting of 8 treatments with 3 tests. The data is analyzed with a variety analysis and if the F test of 5% level shows significantly different results, it will be continued with the DMRT (Duncan Multiple Range Test) test at a level of 5%. The treatment of the type of husk charcoal media + peatmoss ratio (2: 1) gave the highest yield on the average plant height of 28.13 cm, on the number of leaves which was 18.79 strands, in the stem diameter which was 6.51 mm, on the leaf area of 64.80 cm², at the root length of 37.03 cm, and the fresh weight of the roots was 20.19 grams.

Abstract

Public interest in hydroponic mint is increasing in the market because mint is one of the herbal plants used as anti-bacterial and antiviral drugs (Riyanti, 2020). However, there are obstacles in cultivating mint plants, namely the small number of seeds and the availability of seeds so that the stem cutting method was chosen to increase mint production. In addition, mint cultivation uses a floating raft hydroponic system that can provide good plant nutrition and easy maintenance. This study aims to obtain the right combination of EC values ​​and aeration pressure for the growth and yield of mint plant stem cuttings. The research was conducted at the Telaga Desa screen house located in the KIIC Industrial area, Jl. Permata Raya, Puseurjaya, Kec. Telukjambe Timur, Karawang Regency from May to June 2022. The research method used was an experimental method with a single factor Randomized Block Design (RBD) environment consisting of 10 treatments with 3 replications. The data were analyzed by analysis of variance and if the 5% level F test showed significantly different results, then continued with the DMRT (Duncan Multiple Range Test) test at the 5% level. Parameters observed included number of leaves (strands), root length (cm), plant height (cm), plant fresh weight (grams), and plant growth rate (cm/week). The results showed that there was a significantly different effect of the combination of EC value and aeration pressure on the number of leaves aged 6 WAP, root length 6 WAP and the yield of fresh weight of the plant. The C4 treatment, which was a combination of EC 3.0 mS/cm + Aerator 0.012 mPa, gave the highest yield on the average number of plant leaves, which was 243 leaves, the average plant root length was 91.82 cm and the yield of fresh weight of the plant was 64.91 grams.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the application of the exercise teaching style and the commando teaching style to the improvement of the javelin-throwing learning outcomes for the students of the Department of Sports Education. The method used in this research is the experimental method. The research design used was a randomized two group pre-test and post-test design. The instrument used in this study was the javelin throwing ability test. The data collection technique in this study was to conduct a preliminary test and a final test of the javelin throwing ability for both groups. From the calculation of the research hypothesis testing, it is obtained that tcount is 1.30. Based on the t distribution table at 0.05 with degrees of freedom n1 + n2 - 2 = 10 + 10 – 2 = 18, the t table is 2.101. So tcount is smaller than ttable, namely tcount = 1.30 ttable = 2.101. Based on the test criteria, if tcount is smaller than ttable (tcount table), then accept Ho, which means HA is rejected. Thus, the conclusion of the test is that the average increase in javelin-throwing skill learning outcomes in the experimental group (X1) which is taught using the Exercise teaching style is the same as the average increase in the javelin-throwing skill in the experimental group (X2) which is taught using the commando teaching style.

Abstract

SS 400 steel (Structural Steel) is a type of low carbon steel (mild steel) which is classified into low alloy steel because its alloy composition is less than 8% with a composition of carbon (C) of 0.17%, manganese (Mn) 1.4%, phosphorus (P). ) 0.045%, and sulfur (S) 0.045%. Usually this steel is applied to bridge construction, plates on ships, oil tanks, and others. Almost every construction involves welding elements, although not a few in the welding process often cause residual stresses. Based on this, it is necessary to have a heat treatment process (stress relieving annealing) to reduce the residual stress and make the steel less brittle. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect on steel before and after the stress relieving annealing process at a temperature of 550oC with a holding time of about 30 minutes on the value of hardness and microstructure with Gas Metal Arc Welding (GMAW) welding process. The results showed that the highest hardness value was found in the raw material area of ​​the Heat Affected Zone (HAZ) of 353.14 HV and the lowest hardness value was found in heat treated steel located in the weld metal area.
