Jurnal Ilmiah Wahana Pendidikan (JIWP) Diterbitkan sebagai upaya untuk mempublikasikan hasil-hasil penelitian dan temuan di bidang pendidikan . Jurnal ini terbit 4 bulanan, yaitu bulan April, Agustus dan Desember. *Ruang Lingkup* Memuat hal kajian, analisis, dan penelitian tentang perancangan, pengembangan, pengelolaan, pemanfaatan, evaluasi, dan penelitian dalam bidang pendidikan yang berkaitan dengan peningkatan kinerja dan memfasilitasi belajar di lembaga pendidikan formal, non-formal dan informal serta lembaga-lembaga pelatihan. *Deskripsi* Jurnal Ilmiah Wahana Pendidikan merupakan media komunikasi ilmiah bagi dosen, guru, widyaiswara, mentor, mahasiswa, dan praktisi pendidikan lainnya serta pemerhati kependidikan. Jurnal ini dimaksudkan sebagai wadah untuk menyebarluaskan hasil kajian, pemikiran, penelitian, dan evaluasi yang relevan dengan kawasan pendidikan yakni perancangan, pengembangan, pengelolaan, pemanfaatan, evaluasi dan penelitian dalam bidang pendidikan, pembelajaran dan evaluasi. Artikel yang diterima dan diproses oleh redaksi adalah artikel secara substansi berhubungan dengan kawasan pendidikan.

Abstract

The teaching methods used in elementary school the practical experience of Indonesian teachers in the classroom still must be enhanced. The purpose of this study is to analyze, within the context of actual field experiences, the growing trend of educators making use of various forms of educational media in the classroom. The quantitative method was used for this analysis. Thirteen people were employed as the sample by applying each of the four-learning media at a variety of class levels. The total number of learning media that was studied was around 52. Within the scope of this study, it was determined that there are four distinct categories, namely school location, research subject, learning model, and learning media. the findings, all of which can show results in each finding related to the location of teachers applying in elementary schools located in villages, cities, and isolated areas, then various research subjects, there are low class and high class, the most frequently used PBL learning model, and power point media, which is a solution for teachers to convey material in class. Therefore, this study showed that the majority of teachers applying in elementary schools’ location, research subject, learning model, and learning media could be implemented.

Abstract

Globalization has created business opportunities that are expanding worldwide. In this increasingly connected business environment, intercultural communication is very important. Cultural differences which include language, values, norms, and beliefs affect the way people interact and do business. This article will discuss the background and importance of intercultural business communication in the era of globalization. This study analyzes the impact of globalization on business and identifies intercultural communication challenges that organizations face. Furthermore, this article discusses the benefits of developing intercultural communication competencies and strategies that can be used to enhance effective communication between different cultures.

Abstract

Currently, there are cases of stunting in several sub-districts in the city of Pekanbaru. Nutrition programs carried out by the Pekanbaru City Health Office are expected to help improve the nutrition of target groups at risk of stunting so that there is a decrease in stunting in Pekanbaru City. This study was conducted to determine the results and factors that hinder the implementation of nutrition programs by teh Health Department in Reducing Stunting in the City of Pekanbaru. The theoritical concept used is the Charles O. Jones policy implementation theory which consists of 3 indicators, namely organization, interpretation, and application. The result of this study show that the nutrition program in spesific nutrition intervention in the form ofproviding PMT to pregnant women and toddlers, providing TTD to adolescent girls and pregnant women has been implemented, but the results are not optimal enough. This can be seen from the fact that there are still cases of stunting in Pekanbaru City. Factors that hinder the implementatin of this programbare the posyandu so that the weiging rate of toddlers has not reached the target, the uneved distribution odf nutrition officers owned,and cooperation in hospitals in theadvanced refferal flow of handling stunting toddlers from puskesmas.

Abstract

This comprehensive qualitative literature study examines the profound impact of Auguste Comte's philosophy on the evolution of knowledge, specifically focusing on the analysis of philosophical perspectives regarding the classification of science. Through a systematic and critical analysis of diverse and reputable sources, this study explores Comte's thoughts and ideas, employing a philosophical approach to understand the influence of his philosophy on the organization and development of scientific knowledge. The findings highlight the hierarchical classification of science proposed by Comte, emphasizing the interdependence of scientific disciplines and the role of philosophy in synthesizing knowledge. The study contributes to our understanding of Comte's contributions and their implications for the evolution of knowledge

Abstract

The development of science and technology makes human life change, these changes include various things including information. The mass media, which used to only use print media such as newspapers, now uses the internet to convey information. The role of the media in providing information has an important role in society. Each media has its own characteristics in presenting its news. In this research, we will examine how the mass media present their news and package it in such a way that it becomes objective and interesting information. In this study, Zhongdan Pan & Gerald M. Kosicki's framing analysis model becomes the theory used to analyze Detik.com and Kompas.com media. The aspects studied are syntactic structure, script, thematic, and rhetorical. The results of the study show that the Detik.com media focuses on reporting how the response and statement from the head of the Pangandaran District BKPSDM regarding alleged illegal levies, while Kompas.com focuses on how the chronology of events came to the attention of the public and explains what incidents the victim experienced then what the response was from Head of BKPSDM Pangandaran Regency for alleged cases of extortion and intimidation.

Abstract

This research discussed a comparison of two services rendered by local governments that aim to know the effectiveness of government services through licensing applications. As the ages grow, the development of information technology and communications should be put to good use as well as in the services governments provide to their communities through electronic or online media. It is a qualitative study with an approach to case study and a descriptive analysis. According to research, the Bandung government has released 3 applications as a solution to easier the permit. GAMPIL applications can make it easier for small businesses. One door of investment and integrated service (DPMPTSP) of Bandung implementing an electronic service system implemented through Self-print Online Services System (SILONCER) integrated with the SAMIRINDU application. Thus, for the owners of Bandung districts, it is possible to register their efforts to obtain government clearance online. While the application may make it easier for people to obtain permits, it can be said that the implementation has not yet improved their own satisfaction because beyond the quality of human resources, facilities and infrastructure, socialization of communities is less and less widespread. Not only that, the application still has flaws like servers experiencing interference, signal interference and system interference.

Abstract

Islamic Religious Education (PAI) curriculum development is a complex process that involves various elements such as objectives, materials, activities, and evaluation. Islamic education curriculum development is important to create better teaching and learning conditions and meet the needs of students and society. In developing the PAI curriculum, the underlying principles such as the concept of Islam, the First Precepts of Pancasila, the 1945 Constitution, and the Law on the National Education System serve as guidelines. There are three main designs used in the development of the PAI curriculum, namely SCD, LCD, PCD, and SFD. Each design has its own advantages and disadvantages, and it is important for the curriculum designer to choose a design that fits the needs and goals of teaching PAI.

Abstract

The Digital Population Identity Application (IKD) which has been issued by the Directorate General of Population and Civil Registration of the Ministry of Home Affairs is one of the innovations as well as an adaptation during the transitional period in the development of digitalization in Indonesia. One of the cities implementing digitalization is the city of Surabaya. Surabaya City is one of the cities in East Java Province which consists of 31 sub-districts and has 154 sub-districts in it. One of them is Jepara Village. With so many residents in the city of Surabaya, automatically every day there are always problems related to population administration, one of which is the limited availability of E-KTP blanks. This problem is the basis for the application of Digital Population Identity (IKD). This study aims to determine the Implementation of Digital Population Identity (IKD) Activation in Encouraging Digitalization in Jepara Village, Surabaya City with the Policy Implementation model by George C. Edward III. The research method used in this study is descriptive qualitative using data collection techniques in the form of observation and documentation. The results of this study indicate that the Jepara Village has carried out the entire activation process according to the procedure. However, in order to maximize or improve related performance, there is a need for continuous outreach to increase citizens to activate Digital Population Identity (IKD).
