Abstract

The city of Ternate is an area whose territory consists mostly of ocean, so the people need an understanding of accurate tools to detect sea water levels which have the potential to become tsunamis and sometimes accompanied by earthquakes. For example, the educational community, teachers who are members of the Ternate City Physics MGMP, need to be given socialization and training on how to operate Arduino Uno-based tools which can provide signals when exposed to high tides via their ultrasonic sensors. The method for implementing the Community Partnership Program begins with identifying problems in coastal communities and high school physics teachers, followed by socialization, demonstrations and training on how to operate Arduino Uno-based tools. The activity is known to have increased physics teachers' understanding of the existence and benefits of the Arduino Uno by 100% and skills in operating the tool by 89.1%. Activity participants rated this activity as very important with an average result of 97.4%; the accuracy of the activity method was 95.6%; instructor expertise in delivering material was 97.1%. All participants (100%) who took part in the activity stated that this skill was important in teaching physics at school.

Abstract

Garbage is an environmental and urban community problem that until now has no solution. Limited Garbage Disposal Sites (TPA) in Medan City, making this waste problem even more complex. The waste bank is an alternative in the waste management strategy. The waste bank is one of the programs that can change the pattern of people's views on waste management. Some of the problems that exist with partners include: Partners have basic problems such as lack of knowledge about the dangers of waste & waste management/sorting and lack of knowledge about waste banks, how they work, and generate income just by sorting and depositing them to the waste bank. The approach method that will be used is socialization about waste and its management, and how housewives can earn income from existing waste management. The expected output target is that the community is educated to sort waste and deposit waste into the Garbage Bank, so as to create a clean and healthy environment. It is hoped that the role of the Village Government will be in establishing this waste bank.

Abstract

Masalah yang diangkat dalam penelitian ini adalah mengenai konsep dan karakteristik Perlindungan konsumen dalam Undang-Undang Nomor 8 Tahun 1999 tentang Perlindungan Konsumen (selanjutnya disebut UUPK). Metode yang digunakan empiris kualitatif. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan Perbedaan kepentingan ini dapat memicu perselisihan antara konsumen dan pelaku usaha. Penegakan hukum perlindungan konsumen saat ini lemah dan cenderung melemah. Hal ini terlihat dari banyaknya aduan, aduan dan sengketa konsumen yang disampaikan melalui media sosial, suara pembaca maupun yang masuk ke BPSK, BPKN, LPKSM dan YLKI, namun sangat sedikit yang sampai ke proses pengadilan, bahkan kasusnya banyak yang diputuskan di BPSK, namun di pengadilan berbeda.

Abstract

This article or piece of writing investigates the relationship between relationships and organizations and student self-worth. The issue is concentrated on the organized relationships between the caliber of students at the University of Singapore's Karawang's Faculty of Economics. The findings based on the data collection through the distribution of questionnaires to the participants, the theoretical references from various sources related to the discussion of this research, and the qualitative analysis and presentation of three variables made up of relationships, organization, and self-quality were used to solve this problem. Based on the findings of this study, it was determined that organized connections have a significant impact on students' levels of self-esteem.

Abstract

Pelayanan publik merupakan sebuah bentuk kewajiban pemerintah untuk mengabdi kepada masyarakat dan sebagai bentuk realisasi pembangunan bangsa. Banyak hal yang bisa dilakukan untuk memberikan pelayanan yang lebih baik dalam aspek kependudukan. Tanggungjawab pelayanan kependudukan ini dipegang oleh Dinas Kependudukan dan Pencatatan Sipil. Salah satu bentuk inovasi terhadap peningkatan kualitas layanan kependudukan Kota Surabaya adalah dengan diterbitkannya sebuah sistem bernama Klampid New Generation (KNG). Abstract

Indonesia was reported to have been appointed to host the U-20 world cup in 2021, but had to be postponed due to unfavorable conditions at that time due to the Covid-19 pandemic. After long processes, Indonesia was still appointed by FIFA to host the U-20 World Cup. Of all the 24 countries that will compete, Israel is also a member of it. The news was certainly welcomed by the Indonesian people. However, on the other hand there are a numbers of people who are against it. Several politicians reportedly rejected the Israeli national team which resulted in the cancellation of Indonesia being the host. This issue then received the attention of all Indonesian people, including college students. This study discusses the perceptions of college students in Surabaya towards news on the issue of rejection of the Israeli National Team in the U-20 World Cup using descriptive qualitative methods and data collection techniques by in-person and online interviews. Based on the results of using 6 college student informants, 3 out of 6 active informants criticized politicians who refused through their social media. News on the issue of rejection is impacting on college students perceptions and can influence them to take action

Abstract

Phosphate is an essential nutrient for plant growth and development. However, most of the phosphate in the soil is in a form that is not directly available to plants. In increasing the availability of phosphate in the soil, more environmentally friendly microbes such as Rhizobia sp. One interesting approach is through the interaction between plants and bacteria Rhizobia sp. Recent research has shown that Rhizobia sp. can also have an important role in increasing the utilization of phosphate by plants. Rhizobia sp has the ability to produce phosphatase enzymes. The role of Rhizobia sp in increasing the utilization of phosphate in plants, it is hoped that more effective methods can be found in increasing the availability of phosphate and optimizing the use of phosphate resources in agriculture. The purpose of this research is to understand in depth the role of Rhizobia sp in increasing the utilization of phosphate by plants. This research was conducted at the Experimental Field of the Nusantara Technology University. The research method used in this study was a randomized block design with 2 variables, namely liming and isolates of Rhizobia sp. The results showed that the application of Rhizobia sp isolate had a significant effect on P levels and P uptake of soybean plants. Isolate Rhizobia sp. the best was treatment I9 (BGR 3), thus the isolate was effective in increasing the availability of phosphate and could be absorbed by plants effectively. Giving Rhizobia sp can increase phosphorus indirectly due to interactions between plants and Rhizobia sp. which produces the enzyme phosphatase.

Abstract

In the era of digitalization, the development of technology and information is growing. One of the developments in the digitalization era is in government services. One of these developments is the Digital Population Identity service program. The purpose of this Digital Resident Identity is to facilitate and accelerate public service transactions in digital form. The purpose of this study is to analyze the effectiveness of the Digital Population Identity service program in the Kandangan Village. This research method uses a qualitative approach using descriptive methods. Data collection was carried out through interviews, observation, and documentation. This study refers to the theory of effectiveness which consists of 4 (four) indicators, namely the accuracy of program targets, program socialization, achievement of program goals, and program monitoring. The results of the study show that the effectiveness of the Digital Resident Identity service program in the Kandangan Village, Surabaya City: 1) there is an increase in the enthusiasm of residents in activating Digital Citizenship Identity. 2) Kelurahan Kandangan, Heads of RT and RW, and the Surabaya City Population and Civil Registry Team also participated in disseminating information about IKD services in Kandang Village. 3) residents of the Kandangan Village are gradually switching from physical KTPs to digital KTPs, the aim of which is to facilitate and accelerate public service transactions in digital form. 4) the Kandangan Urban Village team and the Surabaya City Population and Civil Registry Office have monitored the Digital Population Identity service program in the Kandangan Village.

Abstract

Panemon Village is an area with soil conditions prone to landslides on the Lunto Rice Field road. This location is an alternative road that connects Sugihwaras District and Temayang District. During the rainy season the slopes are prone to landslides, thus disrupting traffic and causing danger to local residents. So it is necessary to construct a retaining wall structure to withstand lateral earth pressure caused by the fill soil due to topographical conditions as well as other additional loads. This study plans cantilever type retaining walls and sheet piles. aims to determine the value of safe safety, to withstand soil slides, to determine the value of stability against shear and overturning and the value of stability against collapse of soil carrying capacity, using the theory of Rangkine and Tarzaghi. The results showed that the dimensions of the cantilever type with dimensions H = 4.5 m, B = 2.25 m had a safety factor value for external stability overturning force 22.26 > 2.0, shear 2.57 > 1.5 with soil cohesion of 0.85, the angle of friction of the soil is 59.0°, the unit weight of the soil is 1.85, so the carrying capacity of the soil is 2984.65 greater than the soil stress under the wall qtoe = 2.36 and qheels = 47.70.

Abstract

Welfare according to language is safe, secure and prosperous, so that welfare includes security, safety and prosperity. In general terms, prosperity refers to a state of well-being, a human condition in which people are prosperous, in good health and at peace. According to Soetomo, the level of community welfare contains three indicators, namely: Social Justice, Economic Justice and Democratic Justice. Social Justice, namely justice that is evenly distributed to all people which includes: education, electricity and water. This study aims to determine the Effect of Financial Management Accountability Allocation of Village Funds, Village Policies and Village Institutions on Community Welfare in Kaera Village, Pantar Timur District, Alor District, both partially and simultaneously. Respondents of this study amounted to 76 people. This type of research is field research and is quantitative, using a questionnaire as a data collection instrument. The data was then analyzed using the t-test to determine the partial effect and the F-test to determine the simultaneous effect on people's welfare with the results of the study as follows: 1. Financial management accountability variable for village fund allocation, village policies, village institutions and community welfare has a Pearson product moment correlation value above the limit of 0.3 for the validity test. 2. The financial management accountability variable for village fund allocation, village policies, village institutions and community welfare has a Cronbach alpha value above the limit of 0.6 for the reliability test. 3. The financial management accountability variable for village fund allocation, village policies, village institutions and community welfare has a test value for each classic assumption test that is above alpha and passes the classic assumption test. 4. There is no effect of Financial Management Accountability Allocation of Village Funds partially does not affect Community Welfare as evidenced by the sig t test value of 0.623, which is greater than the research alpha value of 5% (0.05). 5. There is an influence of Village Policy on Community Welfare, as evidenced by the sig t test value of 0.013, which is smaller than the research alpha value of 5% (0.05). 6. There is an influence of Village Institutions on Community Welfare, as evidenced by the sig t test value of 0.019, which is smaller than the research alpha value of 5% (0.05). 7. There is an influence of Financial Management Accountability Allocation of Village Funds, Village Policies and Village Institutions on Community Welfare as evidenced by the sig F test value of 0.016 which is smaller than the research alpha value of 5% (0.05). From the results of the research and the conclusions of the research, the research team suggested to the village government respondents that in the future they should embrace the village community more and expand the opportunities for the community to convey their aspirations, besides that the village government also needs to implement policies that are beneficial to the village community. On the other hand, the research team also suggested that respondents from the Kaera Village community, Pantar Timur District, Alor Regency, should participate in realizing society by creating a law-abiding, tolerant, just society and providing participation in providing advice to improve the welfare of the general public in the village.
