Abstract

Performance is the result of work produced by employees through several aspects that must be passed and has stages to achieve it and aims to improve the performance of the employees themselves. This study aims to determine the effect of work ethic, leadership style, and work environment on employee performance either partially or simultaneously. The study was conducted at the Alor Barat Daya District Office, Alor Regency with a population and sample of 40 employees. Data collection techniques using observation, interviews, questionnaires, and literature study. Data analysis using research instrument test, namely validity test, reliability test; classical assumption test, namely normality, heteroscedasticity, multicollinearity, and linearity tests followed by multiple linear regression tests. Hypothesis testing using partial test and simultaneous test. The results showed that either partially or simultaneously work ethic, leadership style, and work environment had a significant effect on employee performance.

Abstract

The Department of Population and Civil Registration of Karawang Regency is one of the Regional Apparatus Organizations in Karawang Regency which has the authority to administer Population Administration. This paper aims to describe the quality of public services organized by the Disdukcapil Karawang Regency in providing services for making electronic ID cards during the Covid-19 pandemic. This paper is analyzed using a qualitative method, the qualitative method emphasizes the problem aspects of the obstacle factors in the process of making an e-KTP during the Covid-19 pandemic, while the descriptive method is used to analyze the data that the author has obtained from the Disdukcapil Karawang Regency. Disdukcapil Karawang Regency as a service provider for the community is constrained during the Covid-19 pandemic situation. To analyze and determine the quality of population services during the Covid-19 pandemic, the authors collect data obtained through observation and interviews based on the dimensions of the quality of public services according to Zeithaml in Boediono (2003:114), namely, tangible (physical evidence), reliability (reliability), responsiveness (responsiveness), assurance (guarantee), and empathy (empathy). By using qualitative research methods, it is hoped that the authors will be able to produce data in the form of words or writings that are descriptive in nature in improving the quality of population administration services during the Covid-19 pandemic at the Disdukcapil, Karawang Regency.

Abstract

This study aims to determine and analyze collaborative governance in the management of Green Canyon Nature Tourism in Medalsari Village, Pangkalan District, Karawang Regency. In analyzing the author uses Ansel and Gash's collaborative governance theory which has four variable dimensions including initial conditions, institutional design, facilitative leadership and collaboration processes. This research is a descriptive qualitative type with data collection taken through the triangulation technique of interview, observation and documentation and then analyzed through three stages, namely reduction, presentation and conclusion drawing. The results of this study indicate that collaboration in the management of Green Canyon Nature tourism does not run optimally because of the lack of participation and knowledge of the actors involved, both public and private, and the government's role in initiating collaboration with the public and private sector is not visible.

Abstract

In the current era of democracy, every leader has his own character with a distinctive leadership style, as a country that adheres to a democratic system, the implementation of government administration is always required to comply with real democratic principles. But along the way, the development of democracy is colored by various systems that apply, one of which is guided democracy, a system that gives sovereignty to the people, but the decision is determined by the head of government or the president. This is in line with the concept put forward by Colin Crouch related to post-democracy that this condition is in line with the guided democracy system, namely the vagueness of public participation. This research uses qualitative methods and will provide a discussion of post-democracy in guided democracy.

Abstract

The problems and challenges of education in the 21st century have a very essential urgency because they involve the learning process in the classroom. The problem is the dysfunction between the use of technology and educators in mastering the technology which is useful in 21st century learning. In this study, qualitative methods were used with data collection techniques using various reference journals and books that were relevant to the discussion in the article. The results obtained in this study are educators must be willing and able to try to have several competencies related to the teaching and learning process in the classroom, mastery of these competencies for example is digital literacy in the 21st century. The conclusion in this study is to be able to improve the quality of learning in the classroom. educators can use technology in their learning, this technology can be developed with digital literacy competencies in the midst of the rise of technology in the 21st century. Mastery of teacher competence in digital literacy should pay attention to several aspects such as the characteristics of students, use of technology, and the environment in a learning that puts forward technology-based learning in the 21st century

Abstract

This study aims to examine and analyze the quality of public services at the Lemahabang District Office, Karawang Regency in Making Job Seeker Identity Cards (AK-1). This study uses the concept of a descriptive qualitative approach with triangulation of data collection which includes interviews, observations and documentation to then be analyzed using the Miles and Huberman model, namely reduction, presentation and conclusion drawing. The discussion of this research is reviewed in accordance with the principle of public services based on Public Service Standards according to (Decree of the Minister of PAN and RB number 63/KEP/M.PAN/7/2003 concerning General Guidelines for the Implementation of Public Services) which include service procedures, completion time, service costs , service products, facilities and infrastructure and competence of service officers. The results of the study indicate that it is still necessary to optimize the facilities and infrastructure sector where there must be additional computers, printers and repairs to the waiting room for the community. The rest of the making of the Job Seeker Identity Card (AK-1) carried out by Lemahabang District has been running according to the procedures determined by the Karawang Regency Manpower Service.

Abstract

Archives are very important, so their management is very important to pay attention to. many companies pay less attention to the arrangement of archives, we can see this from the arrangement of company archives that accumulate in warehouses or are not maintained so that it is difficult to find them again if needed. One of them is the Karawang Pratama Tax Service Office. Taxes are a primary business that continues to be carried out every time, the impact is that there are many archives that need to be managed. Therefore, archives clearly play an important role in an organization or company. Because without archives it is impossible for someone to be able to remember all the documents and records that are so complex in managing company files. Archives that are well organized, orderly and orderly are a must for the smooth storage of documents in the presentation of information. The research method in this study used a descriptive method with a qualitative research approach, namely a study that aims to provide an overview of how archives are in the service section of KPP Pratama Karawang.

Abstract

Learning outcomes are influenced by two factors, namely internal factors and external factors. Factors discussed in this study are external factors, namely learning methods. In this study, the learning method used is the Reciprocal Teaching (RT) model and the Numbered Haed Togther (NHT) learning model. The problem in this study is whether there is a difference in learning outcomes for the Reciprocal Teaching (RT) model and the learning outcomes for Numbered Haed Togther (NHT) economics subjects in the labor material of class XI IPS students at SMA Negeri 2 West Halmahera. The population in this study were students of class XI IPS at SMA Negeri 2 Halmahera Barat in 2021. From the population, 2 classes were taken as samples, namely class XI IPS 1 and XI IPS 2 as the control class. In the experimental class, the Reciprocal Teaching (RT) learning model was applied, while in the control class the Numbered Haed Togther (NHT) learning model was used. Data collection methods in this study were observation, learning outcomes tests and documentation. Before using the research instrument, the test items were first tested for the level of validity, reliability, degree of difficulty of the items and the distinguishing power of items. The results showed that students who were taught using the Reciprocal Teaching (RT) learning model had a better level of effectiveness compared to students who were taught using the Numbered Haed Togther (NHT) learning model. This is shown by the average score of students in the experimental class (XI IPS 1 taught by using the Reciprocal Teaching (RT) learning model, which is 80.91 better than students in the control class (XI IPS 2 taught using the Numbered Haed Togther model). (NHT)) with an average score of 76.14. Likewise with classical learning outcomes. Students who are taught using the Reciprocal Teaching (RT) learning model classical completeness reaches 95.45%, while in the control class taught by the Numbered learning model Haed Togther (NHT) has 82.61% classical completeness.Based on the results of this study, it can be concluded that there is a difference in the learning outcomes of the experimental class (Reciprocal Teaching (RT)) and the learning outcomes of the control class (Numbered Haed Togther (NHT)).

Abstract

Commodity export is an important activity because it can open up new market opportunities abroad. Besides being able to increase investment and foreign exchange for a country, palm oil is a plantation product that plays an important role in the Indonesian economy, palm oil is the largest foreign exchange earner. In palm oil exports, the volume tends to increase from 2016 to 2019 but when viewed from the export value of palm oil, it tends to fluctuate. Therefore it is necessary to predict the price of palm oil to help make commodity export decisions and also help palm oil investors in maximizing profits, in this study to predict the price of palm oil used data mining methods with the implementation of the Linear Regression and Random Forest algorithms using rapidminer, with data sharing scenarios training and testing is divided into three, namely 90:10, 80:20 and 70:30 to determine the performance of the algorithm. The data that will be used for research is historical data on palm oil prices taken from investing.com. From the results of the implementation of the algorithm obtained in the 90:10 data sharing scenario, the best algorithm is Random Forest with RMSE 25,106 results, in the second scenario with 80:20 data sharing the best algorithm is Linear Regression with RMSE 31,174, in the third scenario 70:30 Linear data sharing. regression has the best result with RMSE 30,227. then from the three scenarios, the Linear Regression algorithm gets the best performance

Abstract

This study aims to examine and analyze the performance of employees in the Spatial Planning Department of Public Works and Spatial Planning in Karawang Regency in optimizing public services. This study uses a qualitative descriptive approach with the data collection technique used is triangulation including interviews, observation and documentation, then analyzed through the Miles and Huberman model which includes reduction, presentation and drawing conclusions. The discussion of this research is reviewed using Mitchell's performance theory (Sedarmayanti, 2001:51) where there are five dimensions namely work quality, timeliness, initiative, ability and communication. The results of this study indicate that the performance of employees in the Spatial Planning Division of the DPUPR Karawang in quality shows good results with a lot of creativity that appears, but in punctuality there are still many who arrive late, the initiative is very high with a fairly agile work response, the ability of the employees There is no doubt about the DPUPR and there is a close relationship between employees in terms of communication.
