Abstract

This study designs ergonomic school chairs for children with autism, addressing their unique physical and sensory needs often neglected in schools. Conducted at SLB Yayasan Autisma Semarang, the research involved teachers and parents to identify user requirements, supported by students’ anthropometric data. The rational method guided the design, using the 5th, 50th, and 95th percentiles to ensure fit. The chair emphasizes comfort, safety, and sensory-friendly features through soft, heat-resistant materials, a safety belt, rounded edges, and a stable structure. Calm colors-gray, light blue, and pastel green-were chosen to reduce sensory overload. This inclusive design supports proper posture and comfort during learning.

Abstract

Permasalahan utama dalam evaluasi kemasan Siomay Gondrong adalah memastikan desain kemasan yang efektif untuk menarik konsumen sekaligus menjaga kualitas produk. Faktor-faktor seperti estetika, fungsionalitas, dan daya tarik visual sering kali sulit diukur secara kuantitatif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menerapkan logika fuzzy sebagai alat evaluasi yang mampu menangani ketidakpastian dan subjektivitas dalam penilaian. Metode yang digunakan melibatkan pengumpulan data melalui kuesioner dari konsumen dan ahli desain, yang kemudian diolah menggunakan sistem logika fuzzy berbasis aturan. Sistem ini mengintegrasikan variabel seperti estetika, daya tahan, dan keberlanjutan dalam menghasilkan skor evaluasi akhir. Hasil riset penelitian menunjukkan sistem fuzzy logic memberikan hasil jawaban netral. Kesimpulannya, sistem logika fuzzy belum sepenuhnya memberikan hasil yang efektif dan fleksibel untuk mengevaluasi desain kemasan.

Abstract

CV. XYZ is a company that operates in the interior sector, especially natural stone design and installation services. In the development of production activities there are shortages or excess stocks of supporting materials. The aim of this research is to help CV. XYZ identifies the causes of uncontrolled stock of supporting materials and prevents potential losses due to shortages or excess stock of materials. To determine this potential, the FSN method is used to classify supporting materials. then proceed with calculating using the EOQ method to find out the company's optimal order quantity. Then use Monte Carlo simulation to forecast needs for the following year. Where the results of these calculations will be used as suggestions for improvements to reduce the potential for excess and shortage of stock in the coming year. From the results of the analysis, potential shortages and excess stock arise due to the absence of special calculations and classifications which cause inventory to be ineffective

Abstract

The achievement of spare parts readiness has decreased in the VUCA Supply Chain era of PT Pamapersada Nusantara. Spare parts readiness is an important factor for the Supply Chain department at PT Pamapersada Nusantara because it is the key to the continuity of a maintenance activity so that mining activities run smoothly, so the purpose of this study is to be able to provide spare parts in the VUCA Supply Chain era through Claim Warranty using the PDCA (Plan, Do, Check, Action) method. The results and discussion were obtained six root causes of the problem, then PDCA and Min-Max analysis was carried out as a method of controlling the readiness level. The stock level condition is applied with a Min of 3 and a Max of 5 to maintain a readiness level that is always available.

Abstract

Optimizing workover operations in the oil and gas industry poses significant challenges in balancing resource efficiency and execution time. Previous studies explored lean manufacturing as a strategy to cut waste and the assignment method as a tool to optimize resource allocation. However, few have combined both approaches within the context of workover operations. This study addresses that gap by analyzing how lean manufacturing and the assignment method can work together to improve efficiency in the workover of Well MN-0153 at the Minagish Field, West Kuwait.The research uses a quantitative approach, focusing on operational data analysis and resource optimization. Data came from field observations, document reviews, and interviews with operational personnel. The integration model was built through Lean-based waste analysis and optimized resource allocation using the Assignment Method. Results indicate that combining the two methods shortens work duration and improves both equipment and workforce utilization.This study contributes an optimization model that enhances productivity and reduces operational expenses in workover projects. It also offers practical recommendations for the oil and gas industry to streamline work processes through a more systematic and efficient approach. Keywords: Lean Manufacturing, Assignment Method, workover, efficiency, optimization, oil and gas

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menentukan kebijakan pemesanan optimal untuk bahan baku produk di UD Machillah Jaya dengan menggunakan metode economic order quantity (EOQ) dan just-in-time (JIT). Pendekatan yang digunakan pada penelitian ini bersifat kuantitatif yang bertujuan untuk menentukan kuantitas dan frekuensi pemesanan optimal, total biaya persediaan, serta perhitungan analisis sensitivitas untuk biaya simpan dan biaya pesan. Dari hasil analisis Pareto, diketahui bahwa bahan baku plat baja 3 mm adalah bahan baku yang paling krusial dan harus dikelola secara optimal. Hasil pengolahan data menunjukkan bahwa penerapan metode EOQ pada bahan baku plat baja 3 mm menghasilkan kuantitas pemesanan optimal sebesar 54 lembar dengan frekuensi pemesanan 42 kali per tahun dengan total biaya persediaan Rp 4.316.953. Sementara itu, dengan pendekatan JIT, kuantitas pemesanan optimal adalah 58 lembar dengan frekuensi pemesanan 39 kali per tahun dan total biaya persediaan Rp 4.330.669. Total biaya persediaan dengan metode EOQ menunjukkan efisiensi biaya lebih tinggi dibandingkan pendekatan JIT dengan penghematan sebesar 13,66% dari kondisi eksisting perusahaan. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data, diusulkan bahwa metode EOQ dapat diterapkan oleh UD Machillah Jaya sebagai metode kebijakan pemesanan yang optimal.Kata kunci: pengendalian persediaan, economic order quantity, just-in-time, UMKM

Abstract

Aplikasi Signal merupakan platform komunikasi yang dikenal karena fitur keamanannya, namun aspek ergonomi antarmukanya belum banyak dievaluasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis tingkat kegunaan (usability) antarmuka aplikasi Signal berdasarkan persepsi pengguna menggunakan instrumen System Usability Scale (SUS). Penilaian difokuskan pada empat dimensi: efisiensi penggunaan, kenyamanan visual, kemudahan navigasi, dan kecepatan belajar. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif deskriptif dengan responden sebanyak 60 mahasiswa pengguna Signal. Data diperoleh melalui kuesioner SUS dan dianalisis menggunakan SPSS. Hasil menunjukkan skor rata-rata SUS sebesar 55,92 yang dikategorikan dalam tingkat usability sedang. Temuan ini mengindikasikan bahwa antarmuka Signal masih memiliki kelemahan, terutama dalam aspek fleksibilitas dan dukungan penggunaan. Studi ini merekomendasikan penyempurnaan desain antarmuka melalui peningkatan keterbacaan visual, navigasi yang lebih intuitif, serta penyediaan bantuan dalam aplikasi. Abstract

The necessity of adequate housing constitutes a fundamental human need. CV Senjaya Makmur, a housing developer in Sidoarjo, faces the challenge of meeting the housing preferences of the millennial generation. The objective of this study is to ascertain the technical attributes required by millennial consumers to inform the design of residential houses. To this end, the Quality Function Deployment (QFD) method will be employed as a framework. The results of the study indicated that the factors considered by millennials include facade color, simple and trendy home design, construction cost, breathing house concept, distance to public facilities, long-term use, efficiency, and flexibility. The highest priorities are the cost of home maintenance (8.513%), the application of easy-care materials (8.494%), and cheap good quality finishing materials (8.329%). Other salient characteristics include optimal furniture arrangement (5.737%), integration of multifunctional spaces (5.508%), and the notion of multi-storey micro-houses (5.453%). These findings offer insights that can inform the design of residential properties to align with the needs and preferences of the millennial generation.Kebutuhan tempat tinggal layak merupakan kebutuhan primer manusia. CV Senjaya Makmur sebagai developer perumahan di Sidoarjo menghadapi tantangan memenuhi preferensi rumah generasi milenial. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengidentifikasi atribut teknis yang dibutuhkan konsumen milenial sebagai acuan perancangan rumah tinggal menggunakan metode Quality Function Deployment (QFD). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan faktor-faktor yang dipertimbangkan milenial meliputi warna fasad, desain rumah simple dan trendy, biaya pembangunan, konsep rumah bernafas, jarak dengan fasilitas publik, penggunaan jangka panjang, efisiensi dan fleksibilitas. Prioritas tertinggi adalah biaya perawatan rumah (8,513%), penerapan material mudah perawatan (8,494%), dan material finishing murah berkualitas baik (8,329%). Karakteristik penting lainnya mencakup penataan furniture yang baik (5,737%), gabungan beberapa fungsi ruang (5,508%), dan konsep rumah mikro bertingkat (5,453%). Temuan ini memberikan masukan bagi pengembang untuk merancang rumah sesuai kebutuhan generasi milenial.

Abstract

Ergonomics, Human Factor, and Occupational Health are crucial interrelated disciplines for optimizing human interaction within work systems. Bibliometric analysis offers a quantitative approach to map the development and intellectual structure of these fields. This study aims to conduct a computational bibliometric mapping analysis of scientific publications related to "Ergonomics", "Human Factor", and "Occupational Health" to identify research structures, developmental trends, and potential areas for future research. Publication data from 2014-2024 (comprising 536 articles) were retrieved from the Scopus database and analyzed using Publish or Perish software for data extraction and VOSviewer software for keyword co-occurrence analysis, clustering, and visualization. The analysis identified publication trends and mapped the research landscape into 6 major thematic clusters, showcasing interconnections and the evolution of topics within the three fields. Network, density, and overlay visualizations were used to present these findings. This study provides comprehensive insights into current research dynamics and identifies potential focus areas for future research in Ergonomics, Human Factor, and Occupational Health.
