Abstract

This study evaluates the effectiveness of an ergonomically redesigned office chair, tailored to meet the anthropometric needs of employees. It addresses common issues associated with prolonged sitting, such as musculoskeletal discomfort and fatigue, which are prevalent in sedentary work environments. Utilizing anthropometric data from prior studies, the redesign incorporates modifications in key chair dimensions—such as seat height, seat depth, and backrest height—to enhance user comfort and reduce physical strain. The ROSA (Rapid Office Strain Assessment) tool was employed to assess posture and ergonomic risk for both the old and redesigned chairs. Findings indicate a significant improvement in ergonomic support and comfort with the new design, supported by a statistically significant reduction in ROSA scores, as confirmed through a paired sample t-test. Although the redesign effectively enhances comfort, further improvements are recommended, including adjustable lumbar support and backrest flexibility. This study underscores the importance of ergonomic adaptations in office furniture to support diverse body types and reduce occupational health risks.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the application of hygienic design to utilize the excess supply of cayenne pepper during the peak harvest season, where many harvests are not absorbed into the market. Meanwhile, during the harvest in the off-season, the amount of chili harvest is unable to meet market demand, resulting in a spike in the price of cayenne pepper. The spike in the price of cayenne pepper has quite high variability, where the lowest price is IDR 15,000.00 but the highest price can reach IDR 100,000.00. With the implementation of the use of the DrySter Eco House drying house, farmers can store excess harvest results when prices drop and process them as dried cayenne pepper supplies and then sell them when the supply of fresh cayenne pepper on the market is low and the selling price is high. The DrySter Eco House greenhouse system relies on solar energy as the main source. This approach utilizes a greenhouse structure equipped with temperature and humidity control technology, as well as air circulation assistance that utilizes energy from solar panels to maintain optimal conditions during the drying process. By using greenhouse technology, the water content of cayenne pepper can be reduced significantly in a shorter time compared to conventional open drying methods. The use of renewable energy not only reduces operational costs, but also supports environmental sustainability and is able to maintain the quality of dried cayenne pepper. This study includes trials and measurements of several variables, such as temperature and drying time, to compare the results of conventional drying with drying using the DrySter Eco House prototype. With the supply of cayenne pepper from prospective harvest waste, farmers can stabilize the supply of chili during the off-season while also obtaining additional income from the sale of dried chili.

Abstract

CV XYZ merupakan salah satu perusahaan industri pengolahan kayu berbasis plywood. Dalam manajemen perusahaan terdapat beberapa risiko pada rantai pasok yaitu ketidakmampuan supplier dalam memenuhi ketersediaan bahan baku, keterlambatan pengantaran bahan baku, breakdown mesin, dan distribusi produk terhambat. Pendekatan dengan metode SCOR dan HOR perlu dilakukan untuk meminimalisir risiko- risiko pada aliran rantai pasok perusahaan. Dari hasil penelitian didapatkan 25 kejadian risiko, 28 agen risiko, 3 agen risiko prioritas, dan 9 strategi aksi mitigasi. Tiga agen risiko prioritas tersebut yaitu (A11) ketidakmampuan supplier dalam memenuhi bahan baku, (A17) ketidakpatuhan karyawan terhadap SOP, dan (A20) mesin sudah tua dan mengalami penurunan kinerja. Dengan (PA2) yaitu penetapan kontrak tertulis dengan supplier sebagai strategi aksi mitigasi dengan peringkat tertinggi.Kata kunci: House Of Risk, Manajemen Risiko Rantai Pasok, SCOR

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis dan memberikan usulan perbaikan terhadap beban kerja mental pada operator mixing di PT Cosmotech Multi Mandiri. Beban kerja mental diukur menggunakan metode NASA-TLX secara subjektif. Data primer diperoleh melalui wawancara dan kuesioner terhadap sembilan operator mixing. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa beban kerja mental operator mixing tergolong tinggi hingga sangat tinggi, dengan faktor Own Performance dan Effort menjadi kontributor utama. Penelitian ini memberikan usulan perbaikan yang difokuskan pada peningkatan performa kerja dan pengurangan usaha yang diperlukan operator untuk mengurangi beban kerja mental. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif dengan melakukanstudi lapangan. Hasil penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan kontribusi bagi perusahaan dalam menjaga kualitas kerja karyawan dengan menyeimbangkan beban kerja yang diberikan. Kata kunci: Beban Kerja Mental, NASA-TLX, Operator Mixing This study aims to analyze and provide suggestions for improvements to the mental workload of mixing operators at PT Cosmotech Multi Mandiri. Mental workload is measured using the NASA-TLX method subjectively. Primary data was obtained through interviews and questionnaires to nine mixing operators. The results showed that the mental workload of mixing operators was classified as high to very high, with the Own Performance and Effort factors being the main contributors. This research provides suggestions for improvement focused on improving work performance and reducing the effort required by operators to reduce mental workload. This research uses qualitative research methods by conducting field studies. The results of this study are expected to contribute to the company in maintaining the quality of employee work by balancing the workload given. Keywords: Mental Workload, NASA-TLX, Mixing Operator

Abstract

In government agencies, especially in the field of human resource development which provides community facilities and services, the quality of the services provided must be taken seriously. The quality of this service has a big influence on government agencies, especially in the field of human resource development. This research takes a case study at BPSDMP Kominfo Surabaya regarding service quality assessment using the Service Quality and Importance Performance Analysis methods. The aim is to find out people's expectations and perceptions based on services attribute on digital training. The service quality of BPSDMP Kominfo Surabaya has an average value of 1.43, where the value is close to 1, which indicates that the service provided by the agency has met customer expectations and indicates good service quality. Corrective steps for attributes that do not meet customer expectations include improving the attitude and behavior of the committee, improving the quality of materials and training modules on a regular basis, and ensuring that the food provided is fresh and not stale by re-checking its availability and quality.

Abstract

Keamanan dan kesehatan merupakan faktor penting yang harus diperhatikan dalam berbagai hal termasuk tempat wisata untuk memastikan bahwa pengalaman yang diberikan kepada wisatawan adalah aman dan nyaman. Faktor-faktor tersebut akan menjadi hal penting dan daya tarik untuk para wisatawan. Mengingat tingginya angka kecelakaan yang terjadi di tempat wisata, Kawasan wisata religi X dianggap memerlukan evaluasi menyeluruh terkait isu tersebut. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi berbagai faktor yang berkaitan dengan keselamatan dan Kesehatan di tempat wisata religi X yang terletak di Jawa Barat serta membahas berbagai risiko kesehatan dan keselamatan yang mungkin timbul disertai dengan beberapa rekomendasi pencegahan yang dapat diterapkan oleh pengelola dan wisatawan. Untuk mencapai tujuan tersebut, dilakukan observasi langsung di lapangan serta wawancara guna memperoleh data yang relevan. Dengan demikian, diharapkan risiko yang ada dapat diminimalkan sehingga mampu menciptakan lingkungan wisata yang lebih aman dan nyaman.

Abstract

Bahan baku menjadi komponen penting dalam proses produksi perusahaan manufaktur yang bergantung pada supplier. Oleh karena itu diperlukan hubungan yang baik dengan supplier melalui Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) yang meliputi evaluasi kinerja supplier. PT. XYZ mengalami beberapa kendala pengadaan bahan baku sehingga perlu menerapkan SRM. Proses evaluasi pemasok menggunakan metode Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) yang melibatkan pemberian bobot pada berbagai kriteria dan alternatif pemasok. Bobot akhir dari setiap pemasok kemudian dihitung untuk menentukan klasifikasi pemasok ke dalam tiga kategori: bad, good, dan excellent supplier. Dari evaluasi yang dilakukan kepada keempat supplier yang ada diperoleh 2 kategori kelompok supplier yaitu PT. A dan PT. B yang termasuk dalam kategori Excellent Supplier, kemudian PT. C dan PT. D yang termasuk dalam kategori Bad Supplier. Output dari evaluasi supplier digunakan untuk mengelompokkan supplier sesuai kinerjanya dengan menggunakan supplier relationship assessment. Hasil pengelompokkan supplier dari keempat supplier, terdapat 2 kelompok strategi yaitu prime group dan improvement group. Framework SRM dibuat untuk meningkatkan hubungan pemasok-perusahaan melalui evaluasi dan seleksi pemasok.

Abstract

PT Pamapersada Nusantara KPCS menghadapi kendala dalam pencapaian target On Time In Full (OTIF) untuk distribusi sparepart lokal unit remanufacturing. Ketidaktercapaian ini berdampak pada efisiensi rantai pasok dan layanan terhadap user internal (departemen remanufacturing).Hasil yang diperoleh menunjukkan bahwa dengan adanya penurunan hampir 78%/110 range A item stock yang dipilih dari total stock awal ABC (496 item), maka berdampak pada penurunan efektifitas, efisiensi proses pengadaan, penghematan waktu. Berdasarkan perhitungan penentuan nilai ROP-ROQ, persediaan dapat dikatakan efektif karena hasil output status pergerakan tidak ada yang berstatus dalam kategori “Slow Moving” maupun “Dead Stock” dan dari segi prediksi lead time kategori pergerakan, nilai maksimal dalam waktu 3 bulan masih dikatakan efektif untuk dapat dimanfaatkan oleh user. Pemilihan metode VHS dan Centralized Local Stock merupakan metode kombinasi persediaan strategis yang berdampak pada proporsi distribusi yang seimbang terkait okupansi own stock dan VHS stock. Pada akhir proyek, nilai readiness tercapai di atas target KPI yaitu 99% dan kinerja OTIF tercapai di atas target KPI yaitu 90% dari tahap antar proyek hingga akhir proyek.Kata kunci: OTIF, Readyness Stock, ROP, ROQ, ABC, Moving Status

Abstract

This research aims to minimizing waste and improve product quality is the key of success in business. PT. Romi Violeta is a company industri Manufacturing that engaged furniture based Making To Order. The problem that become a foundation research conducted these are it is known that the percentage of defect product in PT. Romi Violeta the most dominant is product wardrobes with the value of precentage as 13%. The purpose of this research to minimize waste and improve quality process production wardrobes in PT. Romi Violeta by giving improvement recommendations. Through the application of approach Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Failure Mode and Effects Analtysis, as well as Fault Tree Analysis, waste can minimized and quality improvement. Results of this study reveals at PT. Romi Violeta found two waste the most effect namely waste defective product that get score of 3 and waste of delay that get score of 2,3. Solution fixes to minimize waste and quality improvement, by giving managerial implications against damage on the engine rip saw, and operator less scrupulous improvements that carried out effects occurrence non value added wardrobes of 6,25% become 3,59%.
