This research aims to analyze the effectiveness of the Regional Regulation Formation Agency in Producing Initiative Regional Regulations in the DPRD of North Sulawesi. This research uses the theory of Richard M. Steers with measures of effectiveness, namely goal achievement, integration and adaptation. This research used a qualitative descriptive method with 4 informants consisting of the deputy chairman of the DPRD of North Sulawesi, the chairman of BAPEMPERDA (Regional Regulation Establishment Agency), members of BAPEMPERDA, and BAPEMPERDA staff. The results of this research show that the performance of BAPEMPERDA is still not optimal, seen from the lack of effectiveness in making regional regulations, to the point that they do not reach directly to the community. Based on research findings, several things that need to be suggested to the DPRD (Regional People's Representative Council), especially BAPEMPERDA North Sulawesi, are the need for commitment from DPRD members so that a regional regulation can be effective, not only in terms of quality, but can be felt by the constituents, namely the community.

Technological developments and increasingly fierce competition for private hospitals have forced private hospitals to innovate with each other to promote their services through social media. The research aims to measure how effective the implementation of social media marketing activities is in building brand awareness, brand image, brand equity, and trust from private hospital patients and their influence on visit intention. This study uses quantitative methods, and the data obtained will be processed using CB-SEM with the IBM AMOS application, analyzing 264 questionnaire responses. The study results show that social media marketing activities affect brand awareness, brand image, and trust but do not affect visit intention. Meanwhile, trust and brand equity have a significant impact on visit intentions. However, brand awareness does not affect brand image, yet both significantly impact brand equity. This study shows that collaboration between variables is needed to impact patient visit intentions positively. It is hoped that this research can help the management of private hospitals and other health facilities in forming marketing strategies through social media activities.

The creation of parks as a significant endeavor to enhance the worth of tourism sites has emerged as a prominent phenomenon that garners global attention. The Raja Ampat Geopark has initiated branding efforts to position itself as an exceptionally distinctive tourism attraction in Indonesia. Collaboration amongst stakeholders is essential and cannot be disregarded. This research seeks to ascertain the branding activities involved in establishing the Raja Ampat Geopark, as well as the specific roles played by each partner, utilizing the Penta helix model and collaboration theory. The constructivist paradigm is employed to comprehend the process of knowledge generation inside the Penta helix model. The research findings indicate that successful geopark branding relies on a strong partnership between the government, universities, the tourism industry, local communities, and digital media. Integrating promotion with the preservation of nature and culture in a branding plan effectively enhances awareness and fosters a favorable perception of the Raja Ampat Geopark in a sustainable manner. While the Raja Ampat Geopark has experienced a notable increase in tourism, there are difficulties in effectively managing the balance between this growth and the preservation of the environment, which is crucial for ensuring a sustainable future. This study enhances the progress of geopark development and sustainable tourism by emphasizing the significant role of collaboration and branding based on the Penta helix model. Additional study is required to offer efficient recommendations for the establishment of parks in the future.

High academic pressure, personal obstacles, and the challenges brought by the pandemic can lead to stress and diminished self-confidence in students. In this context, self-efficacy and subjective well-being emerge as crucial factors influencing the learning process. Barriers such as a lack of outlets for expressing emotions and difficulties in overcoming problems can impede students' academic journey. This research conducted at SMA Negeri 1 Bangun Purba aims to examine the impact of expressive writing therapy on students' self-efficacy and subjective well-being. The study involves the development of an expressive writing therapy module, incorporating a scale with validated and reliable measures. The application of this therapy to students follows a quasi-experimental method using a nonequivalent control group design. The research sample consists of two groups: an experimental group subjected to expressive writing therapy and a control group. The results indicate that in the control group, there is no significant difference in self-efficacy (Wilcoxon test, p=0.0798) and subjective well-being (t-test, p=0.3691) before and after the post-test. However, in the experimental group, a significant difference is observed in both self-efficacy (t-test, p<0.05) and subjective well-being (Wilcoxon test, p<0.05). Simultaneously, both aspects can be enhanced through expressive writing therapy (MANOVA, p<0.05). This research highlights that the developed expressive writing therapy module effectively improves students' self-efficacy and subjective well-being.

This research analyzes the impact of investment and bauxite downstream activities by PT Bintan Alumina Indonesia (PT BAI) on the Indonesian economy using the input-output method applied to the Riau Islands Province, West Kalimantan Province and Indonesia. The imposition of stimulus on sectors related to the construction phase and operational phase of the alumina and aluminum industry in the Galang Batang SEZ is the concept that underlies how final demand in other sectors is affected. Economic improvement is characterized by increased output, GDRP, people's income, and the creation of job opportunities. During the construction phase of PT BAI (2016-2029), it generally had a positive impact on the increase in output, income, average GRDP, and average job creation in 52 industrial sectors in the Riau Islands Province. During the operational phase, calculated through three scenarios applied to the Riau Islands Province, West Kalimantan, and Indonesia, with the assumption of full downstreaming of PT BAI's products into the domestic market, shows the greatest impact. The impact includes the increase of Indonesia's output value until 2030 reaching IDR 547.07 trillion, an average annual GDP growth of 0.099 percent, a national income increases until 2030 reaching IDR 74.22 trillion, and an average job creation of 107,105 people per year in 52 industrial sectors in Indonesia. To achieve the optimal target of PT Bintan Alumina Indonesia's (BAI) presence in the domestic bauxite value chain, strengthening the downstream process and downstream industries of alumina and aluminum domestically is needed. Fiscal incentives, the establishment of pro-downstream regulations, and investor protection are crucial to implement.

The low level of taxpayer compliance in reporting tax obligations greatly affects state revenue. The decreasing level of taxpayer compliance is a bad impact on the state because taxes are an important fund for the state. This study aims to determine the factors that influence Micro small and Medium Enterprises taxpayer compliance at KPP Cilegon. The research method used is the survey method. The results showed that the variables of Taxpayer Understanding, Service Quality and Tax Sanctions had a positive and significant influence on Taxpayer Compliance. While the perceived effectiveness of the tax system variable has a positive and insignificant effect on taxpayer compliance. Therefore, to increase taxpayer compliance, the government needs to make efforts such as the government should increase Micro small and Medium Enterprises taxpayers' understanding of tax regulations through various education and socialisation programs through various media such as seminars, training, and social media. The government needs to improve the quality of services to Micro small and Medium Enterprises taxpayers, both in terms of speed, accuracy and ease of access. The government must be careful in applying tax sanctions so as not to have a negative impact on the economy. The results of this study are expected to provide information to policy makers as a basis for consideration to improve taxpayer compliance.

The epistemic modality in detective story helps to build the mysterious atmosphere since its linguistic feature deals with the speaker’s assessment toward the assumptive truth. Readers of detective stories can be captivated by the uncertainty and probability that hinder them from uncovering the truth until the stories end. Thus, this research aims to describe the degree or value of epistemic modality in Poe’s The Murders in the Rue Morgue and its Indonesian equivalent. A descriptive translation approach is used, and a comparative analysis is employed in this research toward the source and target texts. The results show that the modal markers of low degree dominate the English original story, and of the high degree are for the Indonesian translation. However, consistency in translating the degree of epistemic modality is shown by the domination of similar value combination: High-High, Median-Median, and Low-Low. Meanwhile, the types of modal markers presenting the degree of epistemic modality are similarly used in both English and Indonesian versions of the story, except for the relational attributive clause. The English epistemic modality mostly happens in form of positive modal auxiliaries (46.8%) and the Indonesian Epistemic markers are dominated by modal adverbs (27.7%).
