Abstract

This correlational quantitative research aims to determine the relationship between the duration of listening to BTS music and the psychological well-being of BTS fans in Indonesia (known as Army Indonesia). The study included 102 participants who have been fans for a minimum of 2 years, and data was collected using a Google Form provided by the researcher. The measurement tools used were an interval scale to assess the daily duration of listening to BTS music and the Ryff Psychological Well-Being (RPWB) scale to measure psychological well-being. The research results indicate a significant positive correlation between the duration of listening to BTS music and the psychological well-being of BTS fans in Indonesia, with an "r" value of 0.171 and a significance value of 0.043 (p < 0.05). This implies that the longer the duration of listening to BTS music, the higher the level of psychological well-being among fans, and vice versa. The duration of listening to BTS music contributes to fans' psychological well-being by 2,9%. In summary, this research suggests that there is a statistically significant positive relationship between the amount of time spent listening to BTS music and the psychological well-being of BTS fans in Indonesia, with longer listening durations associated with higher levels of psychological well-being.

Abstract

This article provides an overview of the current conditions of digitalizing public services in Indonesia. Rapid transformation in information technology has created opportunities to simplify bureaucratic processes through digitalization. This research analyses public services through digitalization and their potential in the future, comparing them with successful stories in South Korea. Through a comparative study, this study aims to identify best practices in overcoming the gaps and challenges in digitalizing public services. This study uses a qualitative approach by collecting comprehensive literature review data, government reports, and other relevant secondary data. A comparative analysis of Korea's digitalization efforts was conducted to gain insight into potential lessons and best practices. The research results show that the digitalization of public services in Indonesia has large ambitions. However, it still needs to catch up to Korea regarding implementation strategies and the design of digital government principles. Prioritizing digitalization in public services increases the effectiveness and efficiency of public services and equalizes society's quality of life.

Abstract

This study presents an in-depth analysis of patient rights protection, focusing on medical record confidentiality and the information disclosure system in Indonesian hospitals. The research utilizes a normative juridical approach, employing primary and secondary legal materials and combining statute and conceptual approaches. The analysis highlights gaps in the existing legal and policy frameworks that compromise patient rights, and the challenges healthcare providers face in maintaining medical record confidentiality and disclosure of information. These issues are further illuminated through a review of relevant academic literature, and corroborated by empirical evidence drawn from real-world case studies. Findings reveal a dichotomy between theoretical principles of patient rights and their practical implementation, accentuated by resource limitations, variations in law enforcement, and gaps in understanding among healthcare providers. The study concludes with recommendations for legal and policy reforms that can bridge these gaps, improve patient care, and strengthen trust in Indonesia's healthcare system. These reforms present both challenges and opportunities. While resource constraints and resistance to change may pose difficulties, the potential for improved patient care, enhanced public trust, and socio-economic development makes the pursuit of these reforms a necessary endeavour. This study contributes to a deeper understanding of patient rights protection and sets the stage for ongoing dialogue and action towards healthcare reform in Indonesia.

Abstract

This research aims to examine the validity of land and building sales and purchase agreements between residents at the Taman Duren Sawit Housing Complex (buyers) and developers (sellers), due to a lawsuit by a third party. This research is normative juridical, which uses a statutory approach (statute approach) and a case approach. The results of this research indicate that the developer as the seller has violated the objective conditions for the validity of the agreement, especially the conditions of "a certain thing" and the conditions of "halal causes", by selling objects whose ownership is still in dispute and there is no transparency regarding the legal status of the land of the sale and purchase object, which is still in dispute. Therefore, the agreement made is considered null and void by law. The legal remedy that can be taken by the buyer is to file an unlawful act lawsuit with the local district court based on Article 1365 of the Civil Code. This research concludes that the land and building sale and purchase agreement entered into by the parties is null and void because it has violated the terms of "a certain thing" and the terms of "halal causes" while the legal remedy that can be taken by buyers in good faith are to file a lawsuit. unlawful acts to the local district court.

Abstract

This study investigated the impact of bureaucratic conduct on promoting community involvement in village development and evaluated and analyzed the behavior of bureaucrats. This research employs a qualitative descriptive design. This study gathers data via four distinct stages: pre-field, field work, data processing, and report writing. Community participation at every level or process of development is crucial for achieving success, as shown by the study findings. Community participation is a crucial aspect of development and serves as an indicator of its efficiency, but it often remains insufficient. The lack of community participation in the development process may be attributed to the ineffectiveness of bureaucratic leadership, communication, and education, resulting in poor operation of the process. The coordination between District Heads, Service Branches, and District Level Agencies has not been in accordance with the work program. The community in Wasior District lacks education, rendering them devoid of authority and unable to make informed decisions on development programs that align with their specific requirements. There has been a deficiency in the implementation of efficient village administration and direction for community institutions. Government-led development initiatives have overwhelmingly overshadowed ongoing development efforts in the last 5 years, neglecting the aspirations and requirements of local communities. Community property ownership policies impede both economic progress and community involvement.

Adaptation skills in a cultural context, including the ability to adapt to new languages and cultures, enable students to build close social relationships and boost self-confidence. Social support from peers with similar cultural backgrounds also provides crucial assistance in overcoming challenges and difficulties in adaptation. However, the research also identifies several challenges, such as language and communication difficulties, as well as pressure to conform to group norms. The findings of this study can offer valuable insights for educational institutions and policymakers to develop more effective support programs for female students originating from Eastern Indonesia in the university environment.
