Abstract

Setelah perairan Teluk Tiworo ditetapkan sebagai kawasan konservasi melalui SK Bupati Kabupaten Muna No.157 tahun 2004, pemanfaatan sumberdaya ikan oleh nelayan lokal sedikit terganggu. Penelitian ini akan mencoba menganalisis kesesuaian perikanan pancing dan strategi pengembangannya sebagai alternatif pemanfaatan di lokasi. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian terdiri dari analisis karakteristik lingkungan, analisis kesesuaian, dan analisis hireraki. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan suhu permukaan perairan Teluk Tiworo berkisar 26,5oC – 29oC, salinitas air berkisar 29‰ - 33‰, logam Hg berkisar 0,00045 – 0,0008 ppm, dan arus cukup tenang. Nilai pH-nya berada pada kisaran pH optimal (7,0 - 8,5) untuk pertumbahan ikan, sehingga sangat cocok dijadikan daerah penangkapan ikan. NKgab pancing dengan fungsi kawasan, potensi kawasan, kebutuhan masyarakat, dan perangkat hukum berturut-turut 3,64, 3,25, 3,24, dan 3,33 pada skala 1-4, sehingga mempunyai kesesuaian tinggi untuk dikembangkan di perairan Teluk Tiworo. Pengembangan perikanan pancing berbasis zonasi (rasio kepentingan = 0,278 pada inconsistency 0,04) merupakan strategi prioritas untuk pengembangan pancing secara berkelanjutan di perairan Teluk Tiworo

Abstract

Fishing effort become the dominant (about 80%) of the fishing economy and society in the Bali Strait. This situation quiet long when fishing effort is not well managed and there is no balance in financial terms. This study will assess the condition of investment, operational, and financial feasibility of the fishing effort. The method used consisted of investment analysis, NPV, IRR, ROI and BCR. The analysis showed that investment needs purse seine OBS, purse seine TBS, gill nets and payang is $ 287,750.000, Rp 476.25 million, Rp 313,250,000 and Rp 261,150,000. The annual operational needs OBS purse seine, purse seine TBS, gill nets and successive payang is $ 261,965,000, USD 408.87 million, Rp 234,550,000 and Rp 188,717,500. While the annual revenue purse seine OBS, purse seine TBS, gill nets and payang is Rp 992,928,000, Rp 1,998,132,000, Rp 673,292,000 and Rp 636,290,000. These four fishing gear are 'very feasible' developed in Bali strait, because it has the value of NPV, IRR, ROI, and B/C ratio is better than required. Purse seine OBS have Rp 1,755,080,046.41 NPV, IRR of approximately 102.55%, ROI around 21.22, and R/C ratio of about 1.40. Purse seine TBS has NPV around Rp 4,070,067,018.54, IRR around 140.15%, ROI around 25.80, and R/C ratio about 1.50. Gill net has a NPV about Rp 918,548,267.25, IRR about 53.08%, ROI around 13.66, and R/C ratio about 1.27, and payang have NPV around Rp 982,670,737.88, IRR of approximately 66,25%, ROI around 14.98, and R/C ratio about 1.34.

Abstract

Seaweed has a high economic value in terms of its considerable use in various industries of sweets, cosmetics, ice cream, flavourings, bakery, sauce, silk, meat/fishery canning, medicine and iron-rod welding. In 2005, Indonesia has declared that seaweed as one of the leading commodities to be prioritized and revitalized. To produce quality of industrial-scale seaweed has necessary a serious handling, start from harvesting process, uploading, washing, drying, up to manufacturing caraggenan.This study has tried to produce a seaweed washing machine that capable to improve the quality of the seaweed in the washing process. This washing machine is based on hybrid technology that can be operated using energy from pedal-powered and electrical-powered generated from solar panels.The washing machine resemble three-wheeled transport vehicle using pedal-powered for mobility. Activity of seaweed washing process using plastic drum that rotated. There are two different size of plastic drum used in washing machine, the bigger size for static water storage containers and the little one for dynamic (rotation) using pedal-powered or electrical motor.The rolled chain transmission that connected with integrated toothed gear is used to ratate a dynamic drum. The different between pedal-powered and electrical-motor powered lies in process to rotated dynamic drum. Pedal-powered use manpower to rotated dynamic drum but electrical motor powered from electrical that generated from solar panel. Washing machine with pedal-powered similar like pedal powered that contained in bicycle. Solar panel systems which is the source energy for generated electrical motor consists of solar panel itself, controller, battery and DC to AC converter. Overall the machine has works well butt need improvement in terms of manueverability.

Abstract

Penggunaan drifter untuk penelitian di bidang oseanografi telah cukup lama dilakukan, namun perancangan, dan pengembangan dari instrumen ini masih terus dilakukan. Rancangan yang murah, ringan dan stabil merupakan beberapa syarat yang dituju oleh para perancang drifter. Di Indonesia penggunaan drifter sebagai alat penelitian oseanografi masih jarang dilakukan dan drifter yang dilepas oleh ARGOS pun hampir tidak ada yang memasuki perairan Indonesia, sehingga penelitian dan analisis data berbasis data drifter inipun masih jarang dilakukan di Indonesia. Ohlman, (2007) mengembangkan drifter yang dirancang untuk perairan pesisir. Beberapa syarat yang ditemukan yaitu drifter pesisir harus memiliki resolusi spasial beberapa meter dan sampel posisi dilakukan setiap beberapa menit. Pengukuran near-real-time data telemetri diperlukan sehingga drifter dapat dilacak dan dipulihkan. Dalam makalah ini diuraikan hasil desain dan konstruksi sistem drifter, serta hasil ujicoba lapang. Diharapkan dari data pengamatan drifter dapat dikembangkan lebih lanjut drifter yang handal dan berkualitas.

Abstract

Indonesia has the potential fishery resources of large marine fish. One of the potential of marine fisheries is small crab (Portunus pelagicus). Small crab is one Crustracea and its existence almost spread all over the waters of Indonesia. This study aimed to: 1) Describe the swimming crab net consists of construction of fishing gear, methods of operation, and productivity of swimming crab net, 2) Determining the influence of resource utilization activities of small crab on the level of biomass, production and sustainable levels in Banten Bay waters. Data collected in this study consisted of primary data and secondary data. Primary data was obtained directly by researchers with direct interviews using a questionnaire to fishermen in Banten Bay. Secondary data obtained from Fishery Port Beach (PPP) and the Marine Fisheries Department in Karangantu. Research using time series data of 2000-2008 are processed using Microsoft Office Excel. Swimming crab net construction consists of corporate nets, rope line, float, float line, lead sinker, sinker line, float marking, float marking line, stone sinker, and stone sinker line. Productivity of swimming crab net in 2008 was 209.37 kg per unit, while in 2010 was 320 kg per unit. Productivity of swimming crab net in 2008 of 10.72 kg per trip and in 2010 of 5.33 kg per trip. Productivity swimming crab net operating costs in 2010 with 0.0000676 kg/rupiah. The number of optimum swimming crab net to operate in Banten Bay waters is 178 units.

Abstract

Fishing effort can be regarded as a total mobilized capability made by fishing fleet to produce catch. There are 8 types of significant fishing units operated in Makassar Strait, off west coast of South Sulawesi Province; these are boat seines, beach seines, purse seines, drift gillnets , encircling gillnets, set gillnets, boat liftnets and fixed liftnets. Annual total fishing effort made by the 8 types of fishing units over a period of 30 years (1977-2006) were calculated after standardization considering variability in capture capacity among them. An analysis was carried out to identify fishing effort dynamics in three predefined fishing sub-areas: around Spermonde Islands (zone A), off Polmas and Pinrang District (zone B) and off Majene and Mamuju District (zone C), especially to concidering capture fisheries condition within four predefined development periods: (1) motorization program (1977-1982), (2) credit loan program (1983-1990), (3) coastal community empowerment program (1991-1997), and (4) desentralized fisheries management (1998-2006). Abstract

This study aims to identify up to, local, seasonal fishing, fishing equipment productivity tenggiri, marketing of the catch and determine patterns of utilization of resources yellow tail fish in a sustainable Kabupaten Bangka. Research method used was the descriptive survey method of case study (case study) and the sampling is done purposively. Data analysis includes the analysis and bio-engineering techniques. Analysis of bio-engineering approach using model CYP. Tenggiri fish in the waters of Bangka Regency arrested with using gillnet catch and pacing overextend. Gill nets in Kabupaten Bangka included in jaringi gill away (drift gillnet) and his fishing nets with the net tenggiri term. Kontruksi catching equipment consists of selambar ropes, nets, rope and buoy up ris. Overextend rod for fishing tenggiri have construction that consists of the Reel (rooler), swivel (swivel), string (line), ballast (sinker) and the rod (hook). Fishing season in the month at The Bangka-month fishing season which occurs on the March, May and June and August and October with the IMP more than 100%. Regional utilization of fishing ground catching fish tenggiri at The Regency Bangka is catching on line 1 (in the coastal waters of up to 6 miles). Utilization of fish resources in sustainable tenggiri can be done with the regime to know the management of fish resources optimally tenggiri where the alleged biological biological overfishing has occurred with the actual effort is 798 more than the trip management of fish resources optimally tenggiri trip of 379. Tenggiri local marketing of fish is done by traders and merchants and retailers sold to consumers, while the export is done by marketing companies. Selling price, marketing margins and profits earned with the short channel with Fisherman share the same akan provide for share traders and the larger fishing companies

Abstract

Pemanfaatan sumberdaya ikan di perairan Teluk Tiworo cenderung destruktif dan hanya mengejar manfaat ekonomis, meskipun perairan tersebut telah dinyatakan sebagai kawasan konservasi laut berdasarkan SK Bupati Kabupaten Muna No. 157 Tahun 2004. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui kesesuaian sero berkantong dengan karakteristik perairan, pola dinamis optimasi penggunaannya, dan kelayakan pengusahaan sero berkantong di Teluk Tiworo. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian meliputi analisis kesesuaian (Jusuf, 1999 dan Mustaruddin, 2005), analisis sistem dinamis (Muhammadi, et. al, 2001), dan analisis usaha (Gaspersz, 1992). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan sero berkantong sesuai dengan sifat alat tangkap ramah lingkungan (NK=3,4), potensi sumberdaya ikan kawasan (NK=3,0), kebutuhan masyarakat (NK=3,3), perangkat hukum terkait (NK=3,2). Jumlah optimal sero berkantong yang dapat dioperasikan secara dinamis di perairan Teluk Tiworo sekitar 15 unit. Pengusahaan sero berkantong dapat mendatangkan keuntungan bersih (Ï€) yang positif, yaitu sekitar Rp 70.716.800 per bulan. Bila nelayan anggota pengelola sero berkantong berjumlah 15 orang, maka setiap anggota akan mendapat bagi hasil sekitar Rp 4.714.453 per bulan

Abstract

Produksi ikan merupakan salah satu indikator kinerja armada penangkapan. Ukuran upaya penangkapan akan menentukan produksi tersebut. Dinamika perikanan tangkap dapat digambarkan dari fluktuasi upaya penangkapan ikan, produksi dan produktivitas penangkapan ikan. Perikanan di pantai barat Sulawesi Selatan dibedakan menjadi 3 perikanan menurut perairan di hadapan provinsi tersebut, yaitu zona A (perairan Kepulauan Spermonde), zona B (Teluk Mandar), dan zona C (perairan Kabupaten Majene dan Mamuju). Penelitian ini bertujuan membandingkan kinerja perikanan tangkap pada ketiga zona perikanan setelah melakukan standarisasi upaya penangkapan dari 8 delapan jenis unit penangkapan ikan, serta mempertimbangkan kebijakan pembangunan perikanan dalam kurun waktu 30 tahun (1977-2006). Armada penangkapan ikan dari ketiga zona perikanan menunjukkan tren signifikan menurun hubungan antara upaya penangkapan dan CPUE (catch perunit effort) untuk kurun waktu tersebut. Kinerja perikanan tangkap sesuai periode kebijakan pembangunan perikanan di ketiga zona perikanan menunjukkan zona A dan B telah optimum dibandingkan zona C. Pengelolaan perikanan tangkap disetiap zona perikanan harus memperhatikan karakteristik dari masing-masing zona perikanan

Abstract

The purpose of this research are to explore the indian mackerel fisheries on Buyat Bay by the appearance time and the fishing locations. Daily data of Indian mackerel catching was collected during period August 2004 to May 2009. They were caught by fishermen using handline, drift gillnet and beach seine. The Indian mackerel were caught in Buyat Bay consist of Rastrelliger neglectus and R. kanagurta entered the fishing location in enourmous numbers by three months in every year. The fishing season was occurred in every six months. The fishing location was around Buyat Bay to Racun isle.
