Abstract

The discussion about the outbreak during the current pandemic is quite interesting and has always been the main topic on several online media sites. Among the online media websites talking about the outbreak is Republika.co, Akurat.co and Islam nu.or.id. Information related to the outbreak in news streams on the Republika.co, Akurat.co and Islam nu.or.id websites always brings pros and cons. This is influenced by the level of public literacy of all forms of information circulating in the media. Because as we know that every information must have a specific purpose. Among those who often echo their aspirations in cyberspace are positivists and constructionists. This study aims to understand the positivist and constructionist ideologies contained in the plague tradition spread on the Republika website, Akurat. co, and Islam.nu. or.id and the level of public literacy awareness in consuming all forms of information that have an impact on the learning process and quality of education during the pandemic. This research uses descriptive qualitative research. Based on the analysis of the data, the following conclusions were drawn: First, the ideology that accompanies the hadiths about the plague in the Republika.co publication is Constructionist ideology. Based on the researcher's analysis, he found several constructionist characteristics, which stated that the news was the result of the construction of media interests and in the submission of the article also included authentic and doif hadith as comparisons. Second, the ideology that accompanies the hadiths about the epidemic in the Akurat.co media is a positivist ideology. Based on the researcher's analysis, most of the hadiths about the plague published on Akurat.co are about steadfastness in facing difficult times, all of which are blessings for those who are patient and punishment for those who despair. Third, the ideology that accompanies Islam.nu.or.id is a positivist ideology. Based on the results of the analysis of researchers who found that most of the published hadiths about the plague were about how the attitude of Muslims when exposed to the plague was to be patient and trustworthy.

Abstract

Honesty is one of the basic forms in shaping a person's character, both from the family, school, and community environment. However, as time went on, the value of honesty began to erode. Corruption, cheating, plagiarism are one form of the erosion of the value of honesty. This paper will discuss the value of honesty by referring to the Hadith Bukhari no. 5629. This writing uses the ma'anil hadith method, examining the hadiths from takhrij hadiths, criticism of sanad, rawi, matan and understanding the meaning. The result of this writing is that Bukhari hadith no. 5629 regarding honesty is a valid hadith, both in terms of sanad, rawi, and mind. Understanding the ma'na with the language approach has also explained the essence of the ma'na contained in the hadith. The results of the implementation of the hadith show that the value of honesty in character education is formed from habits. Therefore, always speaking and being honest will lead to harmony and social order. Meanwhile, the habit of lying will lead to social conflict, both from real life and in cyberspace

Abstract

The development of the digital technology era makes educators have to provide extra character planting in children. Character education as a character / moral shaper of a child. The COVID-19 pandemic has changed the pattern of human life, one of which is in the field of education which has turned into online learning. This study aims to describe the character education of elementary-aged children in online learning in the digital era. The research method used is library (Library Research). The results of the study show that to instill character education in elementary age children in the online learning process in the digital era, it is necessary to optimize all aspects of both educators, students, parents, and the learning curriculum. Thematic-integrative in the 2013 curriculum can be used as an alternative character education. During the COVID-19 pandemic, character cultivation in children can still be taught, especially on the value of spiritual, responsible and independent character.

Abstract

The background of this research stems from the interest of researchers about the importance of the role of principal leadership in strengthening character education. This study aims to determine the type, role, and implementation of the character education strengthening program at SMAN 1 Yogyakarta. This research is a qualitative research taking place at SMAN 1 Yogyakarta. Methods of data collection are done by means of observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis techniques by transcript, coding, comparing and contrasting. Checking the validity of the data by means of triangulation of sources, triangulation of techniques, and triangulation of time. The results showed that: (1) the type of leadership applied by the principal is a type of democratic leadership where the principal always provides encouragement, motivation and innovation for teachers, employees and students to continue to excel and continue working. (2) The implementation of the character education strengthening program using the habituation and culture methods of 5S (Greetings, Smiles, Greetings, Polite, and Polite) character education strengthening programs are supported by school members so that the program has been implemented optimally. (3) the principal acts as an educator, manager, administrator, supervisor, leader, innovator and as a motivator.

Abstract

Pondok Pesantren Tremas is one of the Pesantren that is consistent in internalizing the values of Pancasila in education, both educational activities, such as those visualized in wetonan, roan and so on. Pondok Pesantren Tremas Arjosari, Pacitan, East Java, especially in educating Pancasila values by strengthening the basis of activities, both formally, non-formally and informally, which contain the substance of Pancasila values. Such as the activities of the santri ceremony, ngipa, roan and several other activities. As well as those that contain the values of love for the country, the value of tolerance, togetherness, divinity, mutual cooperation.

Abstract

This research will discuss SIMPATIKA as a basis for decision making and policies in the Ministry of Religion Yogyakarta. SIMPATIKA has a role in supporting all government needs in capturing PTK data, as in the Education and Madrasah Sector (DIKMAD) Regional Office of the Ministry of Religion DIY maximally utilizes SIMPATIKA data as a means of decision making. This research is descriptive qualitative research. This study's population was the head of the field, the head of the Kasi, the staff/operator of SIMPATIKA Kanwil, 3 SIMPATIKA operators of the institution. Sampling is based on 3M's criteria of knowing, understanding, and experiencing by using data collection techniques, namely observation, interviews, and documentation. The results showed that: 1. SIMPATIKA data management in the DIKMAD area of DIY Ministry of Religion's regional office was by the central SIMPATIKA operator's procedures. Judging from how SIMPATIKA management starts from the format, data collection, and data presentation, SIMPATIKA can be used to make accurate decision-making. 2. Decision making related to Educators and Education Personnel in the DIKMAD sector is currently firm and committed to following the established system regulations because the basis for decision making is based on SIMPATIKA data analysis. 3. SIMPATIKA's strengths include: (a) Real-Time Online Transaction (2) Rule by System (3) Self-Service Technology And Paperless, while the weakness is that the Ministry of Religion does not have a SIMPATIKA patent, this is an obstacle for the Ministry of Religion in its development.

Abstract

The principal's leadership becomes a reference for managing other school resources for school development. The role of the principal is very important for school quality control work. This article aims to provide a specific description of the principal's leadership strategy in sustainable quality assurance. The method used is qualitative with data collection techniques in the form of interviews, observations, and documentation. The research was conducted at the Islamic Achievement Middle School in Bantul, Yogyakarta. This school is interesting because it tries to combine the concept of multiple intelligence with the pesantren-style school system. The results of the study indicate that the strategy used by the principal can have an effect on school development. Although in practice it has not yet reached the level of activity in the theoretical structure of PDCA (Plan Do Check Action), the principal continues to develop school quality.

Abstract

Changes in the form of education assessment in Indonesia is currently one of them is the implementation of based assessment HOTS (Higher Order Thinking Skills). The purpose of applying based assessment HOTS is to equip the ability of learners in facing their future in the 21st century, which includes skills as learners are required to think critically, creatively, innovatively, communicatively and collaboratively. Therefore, the purpose of this research is to find out the development of HOTS-based questions in the 2013 curriculum which includes the understanding of HOTS, hots characteristics, and steps for drafting HOTS Problems as well as examples of HOTS problems. The method used in this study is qualitative research with documentation data collection technique. The results of this study show that HOTS characteristics or High-level thinking skills include critical, logical, reflective, metacognitive and creative. The characteristics of HOTS are measuring the ability to think at a high level, using contextual-based problems, diverse questions, not familiar or routine and descriptions. Then, in the preparation of the questions, there are several steps, namely analyzing the Basic Competencies that can be made into the question, compiling a grid of questions, choosing a contextual and interesting stimulus and writing a question item that corresponds to the question grid as well as making rubrics or key answers.

Abstract

Covid-19 has many negative effects on education. The government took an emergency policy in the form of school from home. Because of this policy, online teaching and learning activities are carried out from home. However, the reality in the field, such as what happened in SDN 2 Bantarwuni, there are several obstacles such as what happened in the psychomotor domain assessment process in reading surah al-Maidah verses 2-3. This study aims to: (1) Understand how the psychomotor domain assessment process in reading al-Maidah verse 2-3 at SDN 2 Bantarwuni; (2) Understand the conditions and constraints faced in the assessment of the psychomotor domain in reading al-Maidah verses 2-3 at SDN 2 Bantarwuni. This research is a qualitative field research. The method of data collection was done by observation at SDN 2 Bantarwuni and documentation. The results of this study: (1) The assessment process was carried out according to the procedure, except that there were some students who did not submit the assessment assignment; (2) The obstacles faced are the lack of effort from students and parents to collect assignments via the WhatsApp application or directly carry out face-to-face assessments at school.
