Abstract

Stunting is caused by multidimensional factors and not only caused by malnutrition experienced by pregnant women and children under five years. This research is library research. The results of the study stated that the stunting problem occurs starting from the womb and will be seen when the child reaches the age of two years, some of the effects of stunting can be seen, among others, impaired child height and weight growth, child growth and development is not optimal, does not have a good effect. on children's intelligence and learning abilities, and children are susceptible to disease. The most decisive intervention to reduce the prevalence of stunting, therefore, needs to be carried out in the first 1,000 days of a toddler's life, including good nutrition for pregnant women which of course is also needed by the baby in the womb, healthy food intake and nutrition as a complementary food for breast milk for children - children (make sure children get good nutrition, especially during pregnancy until the age of 1000 children), maintain a clean environment and most importantly provide awareness to parents, especially mothers to have the knowledge and apply good parenting for children.

Abstract

Covid-19 outbreak has led to many changes in social life, one of which is education. At present, classes have been replaced by digital media as a space for the development of students' skills and personalities. PAI learning is substantively a subject that emphasizes value cultivation, but we are now facing the problem of the Covid-19 pandemic, which has undermined values. As a result, it is critical to reintroduce disrupted values, particularly through moral education. The great Indonesian cleric, Haji Abdul Malik Karim Amrullah, served as the lens through which the research was conducted. This study uses a qualitative approach with the literature research method. The results of the study show that, from the perspective of Buya Hamka, values or morality are not only limited to students, but also by educators. PAI learning should have an important role in creating an ethical environment. Although technical education can change from offline to online learning, values and substances must be fixed and precise. In the end, values must be transformed into digital communities today through online education, especially through the subject of PAI.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the integration system of pesantren education with school education in SMP and Pesantren Bumi Cendekia Yogyakarta as an effort to find out how the education model combines pesantren education with school education. This research uses qualitative methods, namely in-depth case studies of individuals or groups, that are carried out over a relatively long period of time, continuously and with a single object. Data collection techniques were carried out through observation, interviews, and documentation. Test the validity of the data using triangulation of sources and techniques. The data analysis technique was done by transcription, coding, grouping, and comparing and constrating. The pattern of integration systems in SMP and Pesantren Bumi Cendekia is divided into three, namely the concept of an integrated vision and mission, institutional integration; integration of curriculum and learning; and management related to planning, implementation, and evaluation of the integration of pesantren education with school education in SMP and Bumi Cendekia Islamic boarding schools in Yogyakarta.

Abstract

Student problems related to planning for further studies require career guidance services from guidance and counseling teachers at schools. Tumbuh High School, through the Education Fair program, seeks to assist students in the process of planning further studies. This study aims to describe and analyze the application of education fair as a career guidance service in planning for further studies for Tumbuh High School students. This study uses descriptive qualitative research methods, data collection through interviews, observation, and documentation. The subjects in this study were school principals, guidance and counseling teachers, parents, and Tumbuh High School students who were involved in and affected by the education fair program. The results of this study indicate that the education fair held at Tumbuh High School begins with an in-depth assessment to determine the talents and interests of students, the selection of universities or partner institutions according to the results of the assessment, the implementation of the educational fair by partner institutions attended by students and their parents; and evaluation of implementation. Students are more mature in planning a career related to studies based on their talents and interests.

Abstract

Assessment is not only seen as giving value through a series of tests, but also must be an integral part of learning. This paper tries to explain the development of an assessment model that can be used by teachers as a measuring tool after the learning unit is completed. This is also supported by several studies which reveal that assessment can improve learning. In this case, the assessment model is summarized into assessment for learning, assessment of learning, assessment as learning, and authentic assessment. This research uses a literature study approach with qualitative methods. The data obtained were obtained from the search results of various works of literature, namely books and relevant journals. After collecting the data, then analyzing the data results and focusing on the problem points. In addition, in every writing, every reference is always checked. This study describes authentic assessment in learning. The results of the assessment of Islamic religious education learning have emphasized what part must be assessed, namely the demand for competence in Islamic teachings that can be applied in everyday life. We can see this in the dominant aspects such as attitudes, skills, and knowledge, based on these aspects the teacher can collect student data using authentic assessment where student learning outcomes are shown based on achievement and learning outcomes in the form of abilities in real life.

Abstract

Government policies to prevent the spread of Covid-19 makes teaching and learning activities carried out online. However, after the spread of the corona virus subsided, offline learning began to be reinstated. This habit change raises several problems in the learning process. This is because students are used to online learning which has time flexibility and the limited assistance provided by educators. This study aims to analyze the problems of learning loss in students and recovery strategies for learning loss problems in students. This study uses a qualitative method. The data collection method used is through observation and interviews. The results of this study indicate that there are several learning loss problems in students, namely problems of learning enthusiasm, literacy, discipline, and politeness. Furthermore, recovery strategies that can be carried out are through socialization, parenting FGDs, literacy assistance, monitoring, and evaluation.

Abstract

One Islamic boarding school in Surakarta concerned with the elderly is the Izzah Zam-zam Islamic Boarding School in Surakarta. Elderly people handled by this Islamic boarding school are santri (elderly) muqim and santri (elderly) ghoiru muqim. The problems of the elderly are very complete, both from declining health factors, psychological factors, and weak religious understanding, these are internal factors, not to mention external factors also approaching, from the places and facilities of Islamic boarding schools that are not adequate. This spiritual tarbiyah mentoring for elderly students uses the PAR (Participatory action research) method, it can be identified and found problems, including contributing factors, causes, leading problems, and core problems. Problem). The results of this assistance show that there is positive progress in carrying out the way of worshiping elderly students, also positive progress in reading & memorizing the Qur'an is increasing and there are always options and solutions to the psychological problems they face.

Abstract

This research aims to improve student learning activities and outcomes after implementing the Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) learning method in learning Arabic for class XI-MIPA at MAN Kendal. This research is classroom action research. The subjects of this study were 34 students of class XI-MIPA-6 in the academic year 2021/2022. The research procedure includes 3 stages, namely: the preparation stage, the implementation stage, and the report preparation stage. Cycles 1 and 2 include planning, implementing actions, observing, and reflecting. Students who score above the KKM or who score more than 75 in accordance with student learning mastery, namely before the action was taken, 21 students (62%), in Cycle 1 rose to 26 students (76%) and in Cycle 2 it increased to 30 students (88%). Applying the CTL learning method combined with group discussion interactions can generate student learning activities. The achievement of student learning activity scores in cycle 1 reached 81% (very high) and in cycle 2 it reached 84% (very high). Based on the results of the analysis of student activities in group discussion interactions and student learning outcomes in providing actions with the application of the CTL learning method, it was found that there was an increase in learning activities and student learning outcomes.

Abstract

Improving the quality of learning in madrasas depends on several factors. A very important factor, among others, is the application of madrasa culture towards quality improvement. Madrasa culture is a positive thing that must be maintained and implemented by all madrasa residents without feeling forced. One of the madrasa cultures that must be maintained is the issue of discipline, including the discipline of teachers in class attendance in the teaching and learning process. To improve the discipline of teachers can be pursued in various ways. This research is school action research. The action being tested is the application of reward and punishment for teachers at MAN Kendal. This research was carried out in two cycles, because from the results of research and data analysis, it turned out that in cycle II, teacher discipline in class attendance in the teaching and learning process increased and met the predetermined indicators of 75%. From the results of this study, it can be concluded that to improve teacher discipline in class attendance in teaching and learning activities can be done by applying reward and punishment to teachers.

Abstract

The Hangudi Bawana Tata Lahir Batin Association has consistently nurtured its character through several rituals and activities. However, this association often gets stigma and rejection because it is considered contrary to the character of Islam. Therefore, there is a need for research that describes the concept of Character Education in the Society in the Perspective of Islamic Education. This research is qualitative research. The subject of the research is the Chairperson, the administrator, and two people (members) in the Hangudi Bawana Tata Lahir Batin Association Yogyakarta. Data was collected by interview, observation, and documentation methods. The data analysis technique uses the Miles Huberman model, which consists of data reduction, data display, verification. The data validity technique uses triangulation of sources, methods, and time techniques. The results of the study show that there are three characters of Islamic perspective developed in the Paguyuban, namely: 1) Divine character. 2) Human Character. 3) Natural Character. In its application, all the characters developed are implemented into activities carried out by the Paguyuban. Regarding character habituation, this association has several methods used, including Qishah and Hiwar methods, uswah methods, refraction methods, promises and threats methods and ibrah and mau'idah methods.
