Abstract

Critical for rural development, village land assets often trigger disputes due to ambiguous boundaries and competing claims. Despite legal frameworks like Permendagri No. 1/2016 and Book C of the Village, consensus-based deliberation (musyawarah) frequently fails, necessitating court intervention. This study investigates the causes of unsuccessful non-litigation resolutions and formulates justice-based optimization strategies for deliberation in Larikrejo Village, Central Java. Using interviews and observations, empirical legal research with qualitative analysis was conducted to examine socio-legal dynamics between the Village Government and communities. Disputes stem from historical boundary ambiguities and power asymmetries, with mediation failing due to entrenched distrust. Courts provided binding solutions, but hybrid models (deliberation + litigation) are proposed to enhance fairness and efficiency. The study advocates for institutional training in mediation (BPD), legal empowerment for villagers, and cross-regional comparisons to refine hybrid dispute resolution, balancing local traditions with legal enforcement.

Abstract

Emergency Department (ED) nurses are critical in delivering rapid, life-saving care, requiring continuous competency updates through training (e.g., BLS, ACLS) to enhance technical skills, decision-making, and stress management. However, delays due to triage inefficiencies, high patient volume, and staffing shortages undermine patient satisfaction, necessitating systemic improvements like Urgent Care integration. This study aims to (1) evaluate the impact of simulation-based training on ED nurse competency and (2) assess how Urgent Care implementation (e.g., digital queues, structured referrals) improves patient outcomes and workflow efficiency. A quasi-experimental design will compare EDs with and without interventions. Pre- and post-intervention data will be collected from 100 nurses (convenience sampling) via skills tests, stress metrics, and patient satisfaction surveys. Validity and reliability will be ensured through expert-reviewed instruments and Cronbach’s alpha (>0.7). Data analysis will use SPSS v.26 for t-tests and regression. Expected outcomes include improved nurse competency (20% faster decision-making), reduced wait times (30%), and higher patient satisfaction (15% increase). The study offers evidence-based strategies to optimize ED performance by integrating training innovations and systemic reforms, addressing both skill gaps and operational bottlenecks.

Abstract

Road damage on K.H. Zaenal Arifin Cikulak–Cibogo, characterized by potholes, crocodile cracks, and flooding, disrupts traffic and safety and is exacerbated by heavy vehicle loads and poor maintenance. This study analyzes damage factors (vehicle load, traffic volume) and assesses pavement conditions to recommend repair methods. A quantitative approach with field surveys, visual documentation, and PCI analysis was employed, supported by traffic volume conversion to passenger car units (smp) and ESAL calculations. The PCI score of 42 ("fair") reflected significant damage, with ESAL values indicating excessive axle loads (407,188). The key contributors were peak traffic (1,971 vehicles/hour) and inadequate pavement thickness. The study advocates for immediate repairs (e.g., patching, 7 cm overlay) and policy interventions to regulate vehicle loads. Future research should integrate sustainable materials and dynamic load modeling.

Abstract

This study evaluates Instagram’s effectiveness in enhancing brand awareness and purchasing interest for Lien Cakes, a culinary business, amid Indonesia’s growing digital marketplace. Employing a quantitative approach with a correlational design, data were collected via questionnaires from 100 active Instagram users, including employees and consumers, to analyze engagement patterns and promotional impact. Findings reveal that 59% of employees purchased via Instagram for convenience, while 81% reported satisfaction, underscoring the platform’s sales potential. Visually creative content and influencer collaborations significantly boosted engagement, though low employee adoption (53% used Instagram for <1 year) highlighted training needs. The study contributes practical insights for optimizing Instagram strategies in niche culinary markets, emphasizing demographic-specific content and employee upskilling. Implications suggest that businesses integrate Instagram’s interactive features (e.g., Stories, UGC) with targeted training to maximize reach and loyalty, while future research could explore AI-driven personalization or cross-platform comparisons.

Abstract

Mediation is one of the methods of alternative dispute resolution that has been integrated into the Indonesian legal system to handle civil cases in court. Through mediation, the disputing parties can reach an agreement peacefully without having to rely on binding judges' decisions. This study aims to evaluate the role of mediation in the resolution of civil disputes in Indonesian courts, including the effectiveness, challenges, and legal implications of mediation outcomes. The study used normative legal research approach, which emphasizes the analysis of legal norms, statutory regulations, and relevant legal doctrines. The findings of the study show that mediation has the potential to speed up the dispute resolution process, save costs, reduce the burden on the court, and maintain good relations between the parties to the dispute. However, the success of mediation is influenced by a variety of factors, including the competence of the mediator, the willingness of the parties to negotiate, and the existence of supportive regulations. In the legal aspect, mediation has been regulated through Supreme Court Regulation (PERMA) Number 1 of 2016, which is a guideline for the implementation of mediation in court. This study recommends improving the quality of mediators, broader education on the benefits of mediation, and strengthening regulations to encourage the implementation of mediation as an effective dispute resolution method.

Abstract

This study aims to identify and analyze the factors that cause learning difficulties in mathematics in Junior High School (SMP) students. The research method used is qualitative with a case study approach. Primary data were collected through observation, in-depth interviews with students, mathematics teachers, and parents, as well as documentation of student learning outcomes. The results of the study indicate that learning difficulties in mathematics are influenced by internal factors such as low motivation, anxiety towards mathematics, and weak understanding of concepts; and external factors such as less varied teaching methods and an unsupportive learning environment. These findings provide important insights for teachers and schools in designing more effective pedagogical interventions.

Abstract

ABSTRACTAnxiety during the third trimester of pregnancy is a significant concern, especially among primigravida women with no previous childbirth experience. This research explores the influence of emotional intelligence and social support on anxiety levels in third-trimester primigravida pregnant women. This research employed a quantitative method and purposive sampling, collecting data from 71 respondents who met specific inclusion criteria. Standardized instruments were employed, including the Pregnancy-related Anxiety Scale (PrAS), the Wong and Law Emotional Intelligence Scale (WLEIS), and the Social Provisions Scale (SPS). Multiple regression analysis revealed that emotional intelligence and social support together accounted for 18.2% of the variance in anxiety (p ≤ 0.01). Individually, emotional intelligence contributed 11.9% and social support 12.2% to the reduction of anxiety, suggesting that social support had a slightly greater impact. These findings highlight the importance of enhancing both internal and external coping resources in maternal care. The study contributes to developmental and clinical psychology by refining the understanding of psychological determinants of prenatal anxiety and reinforces the role of social networks in maternal mental health. Practically, it underscores the need for tailored emotional regulation training and structured support systems for first-time mothers. Future studies are recommended to explore additional psychological and contextual factors influencing prenatal anxiety through longitudinal or intervention-based designs.

Abstract

Indonesia is the country with the second highest burden of Tuberculosis (TB) in the world. It is estimated that there are 845,000 new cases of TB every year with a death rate of 98,000 cases or equivalent to 11 deaths/hour. Tuberculosis control is directed to accelerate TB elimination by 2030. The transmission and development of TB disease is increasingly widespread because it is influenced by social factors such as poverty, urbanization, less active lifestyles, tobacco use, and alcohol. This research uses the literature review method and obtained 7 relevant journals. The results of this study show that the implementation of TB control programs in several health centers still faces various obstacles, especially in terms of funding, limited human resources, lack of SOPs, and not optimal technical implementation such as the discovery of active cases and the involvement of cadres.

Abstract

This study examines the influence of financial literacy, risk tolerance, and trust on cryptocurrency investment decision-making among the millennial generation in Jabodetabek. Cryptocurrency adoption in Indonesia has surged, with millennials as the dominant investor group, despite the inherent risks such as price volatility and regulatory uncertainty. Using the Theory of Planned Behavior (TPB) as the theoretical framework, this research investigates how attitudes, subjective norms, and perceived behavioral control, alongside financial literacy, risk tolerance, and trust, affect millennials’ decisions to invest in cryptocurrencies. A quantitative approach was employed, surveying 325 millennial investors across Jabodetabek. The findings indicate that attitudes, subjective norms, perceived behavioral control, risk tolerance, and trust significantly influence investment intentions and behavior. Contrarily, financial literacy showed no significant direct effect on investment intentions, suggesting that even investors with limited financial knowledge are inclined to invest due to positive attitudes and social influences. Risk tolerance and trust were found to play critical roles in shaping investment decisions, highlighting the importance of psychological factors in navigating cryptocurrency markets. These insights provide valuable implications for policymakers, financial educators, and cryptocurrency platform developers to foster more informed and responsible investment behaviors among young investors
