Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of audit complexity, time budget pressure, and auditor competence on audit quality at the Inspectorate General of the Audit Board of the Republic of Indonesia (BPK RI). The research employs a quantitative approach using a survey method involving 96 internal auditors at the Inspectorate General of BPK RI, with data analyzed through multiple linear regression using statistical software. The results indicate that audit complexity has a significant negative effect on audit quality, auditor competence has a significant positive effect, while time budget pressure has no significant effect. These findings suggest that audit quality can be improved by strengthening auditor competence and managing the complexity of audit tasks, even though time pressure is not a directly determining factor in audit implementation. These results are expected to provide useful strategic input for BPK RI in improving internal audit quality and serve as a practical reference for auditors and other supervisory institutions in managing the various factors that influence the overall quality of audit outcomes

Abstract

The conceptual issue of sustainable marketing is still a challenge, although this topic is increasingly discussed in the marketing literature. Terms such as sustainability marketing, sustainable marketing, and green marketing are often used interchangeably, causing confusion among academics and practitioners alike. This research aims to clarify the concept of sustainable marketing through discourse analysis of leading articles while identifying various approaches in its application. The research method used discourse analysis on 166 selected articles from the Scopus database which included the most influential publications. The analysis was carried out by categorizing theoretical and practical perspectives based on the framework of Hopwood et al. (2005). The findings of the study reveal three main approaches: Auxiliary Sustainability Marketing (ASM) which focuses on refining conventional marketing practices, Reformative Sustainability Marketing (RSM) which drives sustainable lifestyle changes, and Transformative Sustainability Marketing (TSM) which demands systemic transformation in social and economic institutions. This research makes an important contribution by presenting a clearer conceptual foundation for the development of sustainable marketing theory. For practitioners, the results of the research can be a guide in choosing an approach that is in accordance with the organization's sustainability goals. Going forward, further research is needed to test the effectiveness of each approach in a variety of different business contexts.

Abstract

Mathematics learning motivation in elementary school-aged children is an important aspect in supporting their academic achievement. This community service activity aims to improve mathematics learning motivation in children aged 9–13 years through an intervention program based on educational activities at RPTRA X, West Jakarta. As an initial stage, a pre-test was conducted using the Elementary Motivation Scale (ESMS), which had been adapted into Indonesian and validated by experts, to measure learning motivation in reading, writing, and mathematics. The pre-test was conducted on April 13 and 26, 2025, and showed that mathematics learning motivation had the lowest score compared to the other two domains. Based on these results, the intervention program was designed based on Self-Determination Theory (SDT), with an emphasis on enhancing autonomy and using extrinsic motivation through giving rewards as a form of positive reinforcement. The intervention was carried out in four sessions on May 17–18 and May 24–25, 2025, using participatory and contextual approaches to enhance mathematics learning motivation. The evaluation was conducted through a post-test on May 25 and 31, 2025. The analysis focused on 21 children who consistently participated in all activities. The results showed a significant increase in mathematics learning motivation scores, indicated by a decrease in the number of low-motivation children from 15 to 2. These findings indicate that educational activity-based interventions and the application of SDT principles can have a positive impact on improving children's mathematics learning motivation in the RPTRA environment.

Abstract

Chitosan as a biodegradable polymer extracted from crustacean waste demonstrates significant potential as an innovative excipient in pharmaceutical formulations. This systematic literature review aims to analyze recent developments in chitosan utilization as pharmaceutical excipient based on scientific evidence from 2021-2025. Research methodology employed PRISMA 2020 approach with comprehensive search through PubMed, ScienceDirect, Scopus, and Web of Science databases. From 309 identified articles, 10 articles met inclusion criteria for in-depth analysis. Results indicate that chitosan possesses multifunctional advantages as excipient with superior mucoadhesive, biodegradable, and biocompatible properties. Chitosan applications in nanoformulations, tablets, mucoadhesive systems, and inhalation powders demonstrate high flexibility across various dosage forms. Co-processed excipient technology combining chitosan with other excipients produces optimal pharmacotechnical characteristics. Integration of chitosan in 3D printing technology and nanocarriers provides innovative solutions for controlled release and targeted drug delivery. Despite showing promising prospects, chitosan implementation as excipient still requires regulatory standardization and comprehensive method validation for large-scale industrial applications in pharmaceutical green chemistry

Abstract

The rapid development of the fast-food industry in Purwakarta has led to intense competition among restaurants, including CFC Toserba Yogya. Service quality is one of the key factors in maintaining and enhancing customer purchasing power, particularly among students. Good service creates satisfaction and loyalty, which encourage repeat purchases and recommendations from customers. This research aims to analyze the influence of service quality, food quality, and price/value on the behavioral intention of students toward CFC Yogya Purwakarta, specifically focusing on factors that drive student purchasing decisions in the competitive fast-food market. This research used a quantitative approach with a survey method through the distribution of questionnaires to 50 student respondents who had visited CFC Toserba Yogya Purwakarta. Data analysis techniques included SPSS 23 with validity, reliability, descriptive analysis, classical assumption tests, and regression tests. The statistical analysis reveals significant findings: service quality demonstrates a positive and significant influence on behavioral intention (p = 0.043 < 0.05); food quality shows a strong positive correlation with purchase intention (r = 0.785, p < 0.001); and price/value perception significantly affects behavioral intention (p < 0.001). The demographic analysis indicates that 90% of respondents are female students aged 18–20 years with monthly expenditures below Rp 500,000, who prioritize cleanliness, service speed, and the value-for-money ratio in their dining decisions. The research concludes that integrated improvement in service quality, food quality, and price perception creates synergistic effects on student behavioral intentions, with service quality being the primary driver of repeat purchase behavior among polytechnic students.
