Abstract

This research is motivated by the land dispute between the people of Banjar Sari Village and PT Bumi Gema Gempita which has been going on since 2006 and until now has not been resolved fairly. This conflict is rooted in the difference in claims between the community that controls the land for generations and the company which bases its activities on the formal legality of the 2010 Mining Business Permit (IUP). This study aims to analyze the causes and dynamics of land disputes using an environmental political perspective. The research method used is a qualitative descriptive approach with data collection techniques through interviews, observations, and documentation. The results of the study show that land disputes are influenced by three main factors, namely inconsistencies between AMDAL data and the determination of IUP (science factors), the dominance of the company's economic interests in land that has mining value (economic factors), and the weak application of the principles of justice, transparency, and social responsibility (value and ethical factors). In addition, this conflict also has significant social impacts on society, such as the emergence of a sense of injustice, a decrease in the level of trust in the government and the legal system, and the disruption of social relations in the community. Thus, it can be concluded that this land dispute reflects the inequality of power relations in the management of agrarian resources, so that its resolution is not enough only through a formal legal approach, but also requires an approach that considers social justice and recognition of the rights of local communities.

Abstract

This research is entitled "The Role of Tour Leaders in Providing Comfort for Umrah Pilgrims at PT Bina Insani Madinah (BIM Group) Tour & Travel". The background of this research is based on the complexity of operational challenges such as peak season density, extreme weather, and the diversity of pilgrim backgrounds that demand professionalism of mentoring. This study aims to describe and analyze the role of Tour Leader (TL) in providing comfort to Umrah pilgrims, as well as to find out how this role contributes to the dimension of comfort of pilgrims while in the holy land. The research method used is qualitative descriptive with a case study approach on the Umrah Plus Thaif group departing for the period of December 16, 2025 consisting of 41 pilgrims. Data was collected through in-depth interviews with operational managers as well as Tour Leaders, field observations, and official company documentation. The data analysis techniques applied include data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing based on the Miles and Huberman interactive model. The results show that TL plays a strategic role through personal aspects (emotional stability), behavior (two-door communication and proactive attention), position (facility coordination authority), and expectation (professionalism in compensation management) which contribute directly to the comfort types of Relief, Ease, and Transcendence. The findings prove that TL's professionalism is able to meet four contexts of comfort: physical, psycho-spiritual, environmental, and socio-cultural. In conclusion, the quality of Tour Leader assistance is a key instrument in creating a comfortable worship experience in a holistic manner for pilgrims in the holy land.

The purpose of this research is to identify the da'wah values contained in the Bid'ah film and analyze the perception of students of the Da'wah Management Study Program of UIN Raden Fatah Palembang towards these values. This study uses a qualitative approach with the type of field research. Data collection techniques are carried out through observation, interviews, and documentation, which are then analyzed through the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawn. The results of the study show that the Bid'ah film contains da'wah values that include aspects of faith, sharia, and morals. Students' perception of the film is divided into three dimensions, namely cognitive, affective, and conative. In the cognitive dimension, students are able to understand the message conveyed; In the affective dimension, there is a response in the form of acceptance and critical attitudes; Meanwhile, in the contive dimension, some students are encouraged to be more selective in understanding religious teachings. Thus, the film Bid'ah can function as an effective da'wah medium, even though it causes various perceptions among the audience. Therefore, critical understanding is needed so that the message conveyed can be received appropriately.

Abstract

Banana ( Musa paradisiaca L.) is one of the local foods that has a high carbohydrate content and has the potential to be developed as an alternative energy source. Carbohydrates act as the main source of energy for the body. However, processing processes such as steaming can affect the carbohydrate content due to changes in starch structure during gelatinization and reshaping starch structure. The formulation of the problem in this study includes what is the difference in carbohydrate content in 2 variations of steaming time, as well as the most optimal steaming time in maintaining carbohydrate content. This study aims to analyze the effect of steaming time on the total carbohydrate content of kepok bananas and assess its potential as an alternative energy source. This study also fills a research gap related to the effect of specific steaming duration on carbohydrate stability in local foods. The research uses a laboratory experiment design with a post-test only design. The sample was in the form of physiologically ripe kepok bananas steamed at a temperature of ±100°C with a time variation of 30 and 35 minutes. Carbohydrate content analysis was conducted using the Luff-Schoorl method (SNI 01-2891-1992) and tested with Mann-Whitney (?=0.05). The results showed average carbohydrate content of 36.66% (30 minutes) and 35.85% (35 minutes). The statistical test showed a value of p = 0.05 which was at the limit of significance, thus showing a tendency for difference but not statistically strong enough. It was concluded that 30-minute steaming tended to better maintain carbohydrate levels, although further research with larger samples is needed.

Abstract

The implementation of a good queue system can help manage the flow of services so that waiting time can be minimized and the service process becomes more orderly and efficient. This study aims to analyze the effect of the efficiency of the implementation of the queue system on the quality of administrative services at the Hulonthalangi Health Center. Type of quantitative research, analytical survey research method with cross sectional approach. The research population of all patients who performed administrative services at the Hulonthalangi Health Center in November was 867 patients. The number of samples using the Lemeshow formula was 236 respondents. The sampling technique in this study uses accidental sampling techniques. Data analysis was conducted using a Simple Linear Regression test. Based on the results of data analysis, a p-value = 0.000 (P<0.05) was obtained, so there was an influence between the implementation of the queue system and the quality of administrative services at the Hulonthalangi Health Center. The correlation coefficient value (R) of 0.897 shows a very strong influence, while the determination coefficient value (R²) of 0.805 shows that the implementation of the queue system contributes 80.5% to the quality of administrative services. In conclusion, the implementation of the queue system can have a positive effect on the quality of administrative services at the Hulonthalalangi Health Center. Suggestion to the Puskesmas to continue to improve the management of the queue system so that administrative services to patients become more efficient.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the application of cognitive dissonance in persuasive communication of leaders in education staff at SMK Negeri 1 Belida Darat. This research is motivated by the difference between the personal beliefs of education personnel and the policies or directions implemented by school leaders, thus causing psychological discomfort that encourages adjustments in attitudes and behaviors. In these conditions, persuasive communication by leaders is an important factor in helping education personnel accept policies and adjust to organizational demands. This study uses a qualitative research method with a descriptive approach. Data collection techniques are carried out through observation, interviews, and documentation. The informants in this study consisted of school principals, teachers, and education staff at SMK Negeri 1 Belida Darat. Data is analyzed through the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawn. The results of the study show that the application of cognitive dissonance in persuasive communication of leaders can be seen through four indicators, namely the desire for consistency, psychological inconsistency, dissonance driving change, and efforts to achieve consistency. When there is a discrepancy between personal beliefs and school policies, education personnel experience psychological discomfort in the form of doubt, confusion, and decreased morale. However, through persuasive communication that is carried out openly, clearly, and gradually, education personnel are able to adjust and accept the policies implemented. Thus, persuasive communication by leaders plays an important role in reducing cognitive dissonance and encouraging changes in attitudes and consistency in the work of education personnel in the school environment.
