Abstract

Ground water or well water is the largest source of clean water used. The most common obstacle in using groundwater is the problem of iron (Fe) and calcium (CaC03) content in raw water. This research aims to determine the effectiveness of slow sand filtration to reduce Fe and CaCO3 levels in water. This type of research is a pure experimental study in a re-treatment design (One Group Pretest Posttest). The samples of raw water were taken from water pump wells owned by residents on JI. Datu Adam, Lere Village. Sample testing after slow sand filtering was carried out at the UPTD Laboratory of the Office of Environment, Donggala. The filter was carried out with a medium thickness of 45 cm sand, 5 cm gravel sand, 7 cm gravel and 5 cm high puddle water. Before filtering the test results Fe 0.4mg/L and CaCO3 546.37mg/L. Based on the effectiveness test of slow sand filtration with 3 treatments, it was found that the levels of substances after filtering were iron (Fe) 0.29, 0.21 and 0.I2 mg/L respectively, while calcium (CaCO3) was 273.41, 241.35 and 210.11 mg/L respectively. From these results, slow sand filtration is effective in reducing Fe and CaCO3 levels in water. The community is expected to be able to use simple filtering media such as slow sand filters to reduce iron (Fe) and calcium (CaCO3) levels in water. It is also expected to provide additional knowledge studies in the field of public health, especially environmental health.

Abstract

This study aimed to prove whether the Reading Aloud Strategy can empower the disaster literacy of Al-Khairaat II Junior High School students. This research design is pre-experimental, in which researchers use one pretest-posttest group. The characteristic of this design is that it can only have pre-test and post-test groups without a control group. The sample of this study was students of class VIIIB of Al-Khairaat II Junior High School, Palu, a total of twenty people. The results of the data analysis showed that the alternative hypothesis is accepted, proving that the mean value of the post-test is greater than the mean value of the pre-test. In addition, the t_count value (4.7) is higher than the t_table value (2.024) with a significance level of 0.05 and (20-1) degrees of freedom (df). It is proven that the Reading Aloud strategy can improve the disaster literacy reading skills of students in class VIIIB of SMP Al-Khairaat II Palu.

Abstract

The research aims to determine whether there was a correlation between vocabulary mastery and reading comprehension. The study used a simple random sampling technique, namely, taken 30 students in class VIII B. However, the correlation criterion between 0.60 and 0.80 was considered very high. The researchers concluded that rxy = 0.797 and N 30 at a 5% correlation significance is 0,361. Therefore, based on the Pearson Product Moment formula, compared to the rtable, the study found that rcount higher than rtable (0.361), the average Ho was rejected, and Ha was accepted. To sum up, the final results exhibited a correlation between students' vocabulary mastery and reading comprehension.

This research involves needs analysis, content design, video production, material processing, and integration with multimedia elements. The research method used is development research by following predetermined steps. The results of this study indicate that PowerPoint-based Bandicam learning media provides a more interactive learning experience for students. Through screen recordings using Bandicam, students can see demonstrations of art techniques, explanations of concepts, and examples of works of art in an attractive format. Integration with multimedia elements such as images, audio, and animation also enhances visual appeal and helps students understand fine art concepts better. Surveys and observations of PGSD Fine Arts students and teachers showed positive results. Students reported that this learning media helped them understand visual art techniques visually and in depth. They also feel actively involved in the learning process. Teachers also reported that this media helped them convey material in a more interesting and interactive way. However, some students indicated a need for more practice and independent use of the media to deepen their understanding. Therefore, it is important for teachers and schools to provide adequate support and guidance to students in using this learning media independently. In conclusion, the development of Bandicam and PowerPoint-based PGSD Visual Arts learning media provides significant benefits in increasing students' understanding of fine arts. This media presents material in an interesting, interactive, and visual way, which helps students gain a deeper understanding. For further development, it is suggested that more practice and self-support be provided for students to meet their needs in deepening their understanding of art.

Abstract

This research consists of primary data and secondary data; First, primary sources, namely data collected by researchers or data takers directly from the source in the form of verses of the Koran relating to human nature. The secondary data is the result of academic research that discusses human nature. This research use desciptive qualitative approach. Theoretically, this approach is used to investigate circumstances, conditions, or other elements related to the research subject. findings in this study, humans have two dimensions: material and immaterial. The Qur'an shows that the human concept consists of five categories, namely: (1) al-insan, (2) al-ins, (3) al-nas, or unas, (4) al-basyar and (5) ) bany Adam. Despite the fact that these three words stand out the most in a human context, each has a different meaning. Allah, Who created everything in the best way possible, started the creation of man from a clot of blood and created his offspring from lowly water as a kind of essence, then perfected the process of his creation. Death destroys the elements of the body, but the elements of the soul will remain and rise again at the end of time. He is composed of a combination of two elements; spirit and body. If someone only knows the land part and ignores the part that is breathed by God's spirit, then they will not understand the basis of human beings. Ibn Arabi often expressed this idea by using the terms "small world" and "big world" or "microcosm" and "macrocosm". Usually, Ibn Arabi calls small humans with the term "microanthropos" and large humans.
