Abstract

This study uses an associative-quantitative approach with a multiple linear regression model. Data collection was carried out by distributing questionnaires. The results of the study indicate that Work Discipline, Work Environment and Job Satisfaction have a positive and significant effect on the performance of employees of the Medan I-02 Military Court Office both partially and simultaneously. Work Discipline has a partial positive and significant effect on the performance of employees of the Medan I-02 Military Court Office, where the t-count value is 3.485 and t-table 1.676 with a significant value of 0.001 which means the significant value is greater than 0.05 (0.001 <0.05). So H1 is accepted. Work Environment partially has a positive and significant effect on the performance of employees of the Medan I-02 Military Court Office where the t-count value is 3.687 and t-table 1.676 or t-count> t-table with a significant value of 0.000 which means the significant value is greater than 0.05 (0.000 <0.05). So H2 is accepted. Job satisfaction partially has a positive and significant effect on the performance of employees of the Medan I-02 Military Court Office, where the t-value is 4.745 and t-table 1.676 with a significant value of 0.000 which means the significant value is greater than 0.05 (0.000 <0.05). So H3 is accepted. Work discipline, work environment and job satisfaction together (simultaneously) have a positive and significant effect on the performance of employees of the Medan I-02 Military Court Office where the f-value is 102.824 and f-table or f-count> f-table = 102.824> 3.10 with a significant value of 0.000 which means the significant value is smaller than 0.05 (0.000 <0.05). So H4 is accepted

Abstract

The Indonesian National Police Forensic Laboratory plays a crucial role in supporting the disclosure of firearms abuse oriented towards firearm fingerprint analysis. Fingerprints on firearms are one of the most important forensic evidence in criminal investigations. In the context of firearms abuse, fingerprints found on weapons can provide critical information about who has held or used the weapon. This study aims to analyze the role of fingerprint-based forensic laboratories in supporting the disclosure of firearms abuse cases in the North Sumatra Regional Police. The research method uses a qualitative method with a normative legal approach, and data collection is done by conducting interviews with laboratory officers, as well as reviewing documents and case reports. The results of this study conclude that fingerprint analysis on firearms, bullets, and cartridges allows for the identification of perpetrators in a scientific and accurate manner. Then, there are several obstacles that affect the role of firearm fingerprint-based forensic laboratories in the North Sumatra Regional Police, namely the challenges in managing evidence that may be damaged or contaminated, as well as the need for technological and technical updates even though the facilities at the North Sumatra Regional Police Bidlabfor are complete. In addition, the lack of coordination between the forensic laboratory and the investigation unit can slow down the examination and analysis process.

Abstract

This article aims to analyze the relevance of Ibn Khaldun's thought, specifically through his work Muqaddimah, in explaining contemporary social dynamics from the perspective of Islamic sociology. Ibn Khaldun is known as one of the early Islamic thinkers who developed unique social concepts, such as asabiyyah (group solidarity) and civilizational cycles, which became the foundation for the social analysis of society. This study uses a qualitative analysis method with a descriptive-analytical approach to trace the integration of Ibn Khaldun's theories into the context of modern social issues, including social change, poverty, and the sustainability of civilization in the era of globalization. Through this study, it was found that Ibn Khaldun's thought is still very relevant in understanding the dynamics of social groups and the factors that affect the collapse or revival of a society. The concept of asabiyyah, for example, can be applied in analyzing community solidarity in the face of global challenges, while the cycle of civilization offers a critical perspective on sustainable development. This article concludes that the integration of Ibn Khaldun's thought into contemporary Islamic sociology is able to provide a deep theoretical framework for understanding social change in modern society, as well as enriching the approach of Islamic sociology in facing the realities of the times.

Abstract

The rapid advancement of artificial intelligence (AI) in corporate data security presents both opportunities and challenges, particularly in ensuring employee compliance with security policies. This study aims to analyze the influence of corporate policies on employee adherence to AI-driven data security measures, focusing on how well-implemented policies can enhance awareness and compliance. Using a quantitative survey approach, data were collected from 200 employees working in companies that integrate AI into their security systems. Multiple linear regression analysis was employed to examine the relationship between corporate policies and employee compliance, with employee perceptions of AI serving as a moderating variable. The findings reveal that clear policies and comprehensive training programs have a significant positive impact on employee compliance with data security regulations. Furthermore, employee perceptions of AI moderate this relationship, indicating that those with a more positive understanding of AI are more likely to comply with established security policies. The study concludes that AI implementation for data security must be supported by strong corporate policies, effective training systems, and clear communication between management and employees. Companies must ensure that AI adoption not only strengthens data security but also addresses ethical and privacy concerns to foster trust and compliance among employees.

Abstract

The Health Center Management Information System (SIMPUS) is a service for managing patient data starting from the registration stage, examination to patient treatment. The application of SIMPUS needs to be evaluated in order to improve the quality of health services which can be done using the PIECES and HOT-Fit approaches/methods. The PIECES method consists of six assessment indicators including performance, information, economy, control, efficiency and service. The HOT-Fit method consists of four assessment indicators including human, organization, technology and benefits. The aim of the research is to evaluate the implementation of SIMPUS using the PIECES method and the HOT-Fit method at the Limboto Community Health Center. This type of research is descriptive with quantitative methods. The population is all health workers who use the SIMPUS application at the Limboto Community Health Center, totaling 62 health workers. The number of samples is the same as the population, namely 62 people, which was obtained using exhaustive sampling techniques. The data was analyzed descriptively and then presented in the form of a frequency distribution table. The results of the research show that the evaluation of the application of SIMPUS using the PIECES method was obtained by the majority of respondents (53.2%) stating that it was not good, while the majority of respondents (64.5%) also stated that it was not good for the HOT-Fit method. It is recommended that the Limboto Community Health Center improve the quality of SIMPUS by focusing more on routine evaluations, improving HR skills, strengthening integration between applications, as well as improving infrastructure and system security.
