Abstract

Abstract: Arabic in its use is divided into a variety of fusha and 'ammiyah. Arabs use fusha as an official language as well as a written language. While the language 'ammiyah is the language used in everyday conversation. Fusha Arabic is an Arabic language whose fushah is maintained and in principle is the same as the Arabic language used during the Jahiliyyah and early Islam. Fusha Arabic is used as the language of education, the language of the mass media, official writings, and in this case Arabic has become the lingua franca that extends throughout the Arab world (Arab World) to this day. The purpose of this research is to find out the role and urgency of fusha Arabic in people's lives in Arab countries. The approach used in this study is a qualitative approach. The research method used is descriptive analytic method. This method was chosen with the aim of describing the object to be studied, namely Fusha Arabic as a unitary language. The data that the writer collected in this study was in the form of qualitative data, namely data in the form of words, schemes and pictures. The conclusions obtained from this study include the diversity of Arabic, be it in terms of language, use, or other matters. Arabic fusha is the unified language for all Arabic speakers and is made the official language of twenty-six Arab countries. Abstract

Abstract: Arabic comprises four abilities and four components, namely speaking, reading, writing, and listening. The aim of this study is to knowledge the effect of using Arabic cartoons to improve listening skills of children in Grade 2 at Tsanawiyah Islamic Boarding School in Tandem Hilir, North Sumatra. The researcher use quantitative approach with experiment method. This study compares the students' listening abilities before and after the application of Arabic cartoons. According to the study's findings, pupils overall scored 1853 on the pretest. The average score is 61.8; pupils who receive the predicate pass 9 individuals while those who do not pass 21 individuals. The posttest exam had a total score of 2663, but the average was 88.76, with 30 students receiving the passing predicate and none receiving the failing predicate. The influence of Arabic cartoons on listening skills is another factor. The value of 2,04<17,197>2,75 indicates that to is greater than tt. Ha is therefore accepted but Ho is refused. Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to know the self-concept profile and speaking skill proficiency and a relationship between both of them on the first-grade female students in secondary school at Imam Muslim Sei Rampah. The research methodology used is a quantitative correlational method using statistical data with the Spearman rank formula to obtain the research results. The result of this research is known the level of self-concept among the first-grade female students in secondary school at Imam Muslim Sei Rampah is classified as good, with a percentage of 43%, which means 13 students. The level of speaking skill proficiency among first-grade female students in secondary school at Imam Muslim Sei Rampah is classified as good, with a percentage of 50%, which means 15 students. There is a significant positive relationship between self-concept and speaking skill proficiency among the first-grade female students in secondary school at Imam Muslim Sei Rampah, with a correlation coefficient of 0.693, representing 69%, indicating a moderate and positive correlation. Abstract: The importance of the research lies in achieving two basic purposes. The first is the status of the Arabic language and Islamic culture in the region. The second revolves around the emergence of Chadian Arabic literature and its impact on spreading Arab-Islamic culture represented by the presence of Islamic kingdoms in Chad. The paper aims to show the role played by Chadian writers and traditional scholars who made a great effort in spreading Arab and Islamic culture through the poems they composed and educational poems that are a starting point for spreading science around the Lake Chad Basin region. The researcher followed the descriptive analytical approach in his study of this topic, and finally the study focused on: It addresses the following main topics: the Islamic cultural situation and its manifestations, the Arabic language and its status, and the emergence of Shadi Arabic literature, then a summary that includes findings and recommendations. Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to determine the effectiveness of audio-visual media in “maharat al-istima”. To get an understanding of this research, it was carried out using descriptive method and citations from several references because this research tries to describe a growing phenomenon. This method is intended to assess effectiveness. The result of this research is to know the meaning of “maharat al-istima”. So “istima” is a basic human ability that is possessed at the beginning of this birth until throughout his life. But at its level, language learning result in low student learning interest in istima’ learning. The purpose of using audio-visual media is to increase theacher creativity in the learning process in the implementation of istima learning using the audio-visual method has changed the learning atmosphere more interesting and increased student activity in learning. The concept and principle of using visual-media need attention so that the process of using audio-visual media in learning becomes more effective and optimal. Keywords: Audio-Visual Media, Learning Arabic, Maharat al-Istima’ Asbtrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan efektifitas media Audio-visual dalam meningkatkan Maharatul istima’. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan metode deskriptif dan pengutipan dari beberapa referensi, karena tulisan ini berusaha menggambarkan fenomena yang berkembang. Hasil penelitian tersebut yaitu dapat mengetahui pengertian “maharatul istima’” serta keefektifan penggunaan media audio-visual dalam pembelajaran “maharatul istima’”. Jadi istima’ merupakan kemampuan dasar manusia yang dimiliki pada awal kelahirannya sampai sepanjang hidupnya. Namun pada tatarannya, pembelajaran bahasa terjadi rendahnya minat belajar mahasiswa pada pembelajaran istima’. Tujuan penggunaan media audio-visual adalah untuk meningkatkan inovasi dan kreatifitas guru dalam proses pembelajaran Dalam pelaksanaan pembelajaran istima’ menggunakan metode audio-visual ini telah mengubah suasana pembelajaran lebih menarik dan meningkatkan keaktifan mahasiswa dalam pembelajaran. Konsep dan prinsip penggunaan media-visual perlu diperhatikan, agar proses penggunaan media audio-visual dalam pembelajaran menjadi lebih efektif dan optimal. Abstract

Abstract: Terms derived from foreign languages are no longer strange things in people's lives in urban areas. Terms in foreign languages are increasingly spreading and perched in language markers in public spaces such as public infrastructure, shop signage, signage of an inn business. This study aims to determine the phenomenon of life of the people of Malang City who have Arab characteristics, who have an interesting background because of the Arab Ethnic Community. This use of Arabic in linguistic and semiotic landscapes has something to do with cultural patterns and the perspective of the people of Malang City towards the use of Arabic to be maintained. Linguistic and semiotic landscapes are used to study Arabic elements found in public spaces in Malang, East Java. Descriptive qualitative methods were used in this study to describe the results of the analysis conducted on the data. The data used is in the form of interviews that summarize the mindset and perspective of the community towards Arabic used in public spaces. From this study, 16 data from 3 sectors were found, including: (1) Education Sector, (2) Culinary Sector and (3) Economic Sector. These three emerge that the use of Arabic in the linguistic landscape of Malang City shows the function of symbols and the function of information. In addition, the semiotic pattern finds that there is a public mindset towards using Arabic naming is considered more unique, fashionable and has more selling points because the more unique the name or sign will be more attractive to the community even though people do not fully understand the meaning of naming in these various sectors.

Abstract

Abstract: Film is a literary work (prose) that contains the life story of a person or various characters packaged in imaginative works, so that it attracts the interest of many readers, where in the film itself there are various elements that can be used as life lessons in real life. This research includes descriptive qualitative research with the type of literature research (library). The data was taken from several journals, books, e-books, newspapers and others. This data set was processed using triangulation, where the data was sorted and adjusted to suit this research. The film Capernaum by Nadine Labaki is one of the films on the realization of children's rights which is part of a literary work, where the film contains extrinsic elements that show the life of the author (Nadine Labaki) which includes: the author's background, society's background, and values. contained in the film. background regarding the film's author, Nadine Labaki, a film director who lives in a heterogeneous Lebanese society, asked him to voice the human rights of children, by casting non-professional actors to make the film feel more alive and real. The civil war resulting from friction between groups who wanted to maintain their existence caused long chaos in Lebanon which sacrificed the human rights of children who lived in suffering, injustice and oppression. Abstract

Abstrac: Imam Syafi’i is known for his eloquence in the Arabic language and his ability to use metaphors, similes and other literary styles to convey spiritual messages in a beautiful and effective way. One of his poems is about the weaknesses (faults) of human beings. The author aims to analyse “Al-‘Aibu Fiina” poem to understand its depth and uniqueness. The theory used in this analysis involves a literary structuralist approach, which emphasises the intrinsic elements of the text. In structural analysis, it is important to observe how the use of language and literary styles reinforce the themes addressed in this poem. The author uses library research methods to collect data related to the discussion. The results of the analysis indicate that the structure of the poem consists of harmoniously arranged verses, using rhyme in the science of eloquence, describing the author's spiritual journey from darkness to divine light. Religious and wisdom themes are implied through the distinctive use of metaphorical language, making it easily digestible for readers. These findings provide a deeper understanding of the brilliance of Imam Syafi’i's literary work and it's relevance in the context of Arab and Islamic culture. Abstract

Abstract : This research aims to determine the effect of word guessing games on the daily speaking skills of class II at junior high school students Maarif Singosari Malang. because most of the students' problems are the lack of memorizing vocabulary, so word guessing games are a good way to develop linguistic skills, especially speaking skills. This research was conducted to determine the extent of the influence of word guessing games on students' daily speaking skills. The approach used in this research is a quantitative approach and the type of research used is experimental research, and the results of the research are : 1) There is an influence of word guessing games on students' daily speaking skills of class II at junior high school students Maarif Singosari Malang, Because students' abilities are better than before. Considering the post-test result of 1550 is greater than the pre-test result of 1140. This shows the difference between the two tests, By using the T test the results were 2.83<17.943>2.08. It was found that the T test was greater than the t table and the magnitude of the effect of the word guessing game was -5.78. This has a very big influence on the use of word guessing games on students' daily speaking skills of class II at junior high school students Maarif Singosari Malang. Abstract

Abstract: Pesantren as a traditional Islamic educational institution still has a vital role in preserving the literacy tradition, especially in writing Pegon Arabic. Arab Pegon is the result of the acculturation of Arab intangible culture with Javanese culture through a writing system. Following the customs of the Muslim community in Java, where Arab culture is present, Pegon Arabic writing is written in various languages such as Javanese, Sundanese, Madura, and other regional languages in Indonesia. This reality gave birth to a literacy tradition that continues to grow. However, not many pesantren use Pegon Arabic script writing in Indonesian. The tradition of Pegon Arabic literacy in Islamic boarding schools in Java generally uses the local language, but the practice of writing Pegon Arabic script in the Singosari Islamic Boarding School uses Indonesian. The purpose of this study is to determine the role of Pesantren Ilmu Al-Qur’an Singosari in the preservation of the tradition of Arabic Pegon writing in Indonesian. This study uses qualitative research methods which include the collection of documentation, interviews, and observations. The findings of the study show that the Pesantren Ilmu Al-Qur’an Singosari is accustomed to the practice of Pegon Arabic writing in almost all religious literacy activities. This habit has been proven to be able to increase students’ interest and understanding of Pegon Arabic writing. This article concludes that pesantren play a strategic role in preserving the heritage of the Pegon Arabic writing tradition. In addition, it is important to teach Pegon Arabic writing literacy in Indonesian to students to attract their interest in studying Islamic books by classical scholars.
