Abstract

This study evaluates the sustainability impact of the Creating Shared Value (CSV) program implemented by PT Pupuk Sriwidjaja in Tebat Benawa Village, South Sumatra, focusing on social, economic, and environmental dimensions. The research targets the Kopi Ringkeh Social Forestry Business Group operating within the Mude Ayek Customary Forest, South Sumatra's first legally recognized customary forest. A mixed-methods approach was employed, combining survey-based Likert scale analysis with in-depth interviews. The census sampling covered all group members, enabling comprehensive data triangulation. Results demonstrate improvements in social cohesion, community participation, and knowledge capacity. Economically, income diversification and emerging employment opportunities signal local economic revitalization. Environmentally, increased awareness of sustainable practices is observed, though waste and water management require further intervention. The Social Return on Investment (SROI) analysis revealed a favorable ratio of 1.99, indicating that for every unit of investment, nearly twice the value was generated in social and environmental benefits. These findings align with several SDGs, notably Goals 1, 8, 12, 13 and 17. The study concludes that CSV programs, when integrated with local wisdom and inclusive partnerships, can serve as a scalable model for sustainable rural development and long-term resilience. Strategic policy replication is recommended for similarly profiled communities. Abstract

Coffee plantations in South Sumatra face productivity problems that are not optimal. This opens up opportunities for PT Pupuk Sriwidjaja (Pusri) Palembang to develop product innovations, namely NPK Coffee formula 18-8-18 fertilizer specifically for coffee plants. Manufacturers need to know the level of consumer brand awareness to determine the right strategy in marketing their products. This study aims to analyze the level of brand awareness of coffee farmers in Semende Darat Laut towards NPK Kopi Pusri fertilizer and formulate a marketing communication strategy carried out by Pusri in increasing brand awareness with SWOT analysis and analyzing the most optimal marketing communication strategy implemented by Pusri based on the level of brand awareness of coffee farmers in Semende Darat Laut. The results of the analysis showed that the level of brand awareness of coffee farmers in Semende Darat Laut District towards NPK Kopi Pusri fertilizer was in the high category, with the majority of farmers calling this brand spontaneously (top of mind) and most others were able to remember it (brand recall). The strategy that can be implemented is to aggressively expand the market by increasing production capacity, expanding distribution to remote areas, and strengthening promotional activities based on extension and demonstration plots in order to build farmer trust, increase product adoption, and strengthen the brand position in the national coffee fertilizer market.

Abstract

Entrepreneurship is a strategic means for students to develop their potential, practice independence, and apply their knowledge directly in the real world. Entrepreneurship not only serves as an alternative source of income but also as a medium for learning important skills such as leadership, decision making, and creativity. This study is motivated by the market potential in the traditional culinary sector, particularly traditional snacks, which still have a wide customer base in society. Additionally, this entrepreneurial initiative aims to empower local agricultural products such as peanuts and spices, which are easily obtainable from nearby farmers. The type of business developed involves production and marketing in three flavor variants—original, balado, and barbecue—with attractive and informative packaging to enhance competitiveness. The objectives of this activity are to create an independent and sustainable business, optimize the utilization of local raw materials, and contribute economically and socially to the surrounding community. The implementation of the activity was carried out through an entrepreneurship approach based on market research and product innovation. The results indicate a positive response from consumers toward the development of flavor variants. This entrepreneurial activity has the potential to grow as a model for local agribusiness-based enterprises that are not only profit-oriented but also promote sustainability and community empowerment.

Abstract

Cheesecuit D&E is a micro business in Makassar that produces desserts made from cheese and biscuits. This study aims to create a prototype food product, a dessert, according to consumer needs and preferences. The research method used a qualitative descriptive approach, involving market surveys, identifying consumer needs and preferences, designing the product, and testing the prototype. The results showed that data and information were collected from a target market consisting of 27% males and 73% females, with an average age of 30 years and mostly students. The most preferred flavors were cheese and chocolate. The initial stage of developing the “cheesecuit D&E” dessert prototype involved conducting market surveys, designing the product, creating the initial product, conducting organoleptic tests, and finalizing the product. The product resulted in a product design that was in line with consumer preferences. Organoleptic tests showed a significant improvement in taste and visual aspects, especially for the cheese variant.

Abstract

Provinsi Jawa Timur merupakan salah satu penghasil padi terbesar di Indonesia, dengan kontribusi mencapai 17,44% terhadap produksi nasional. Namun usahatani padi sering menghadapi berbagai tantangan, seperti fluktuasi harga, kenaikan biaya produksi, dan penyempitan lahan akibat alih fungsi. Kondisi ini menyebabkan pendapatan dari usahatani padi menjadi tidak stabil, sehingga banyak petani mencari pendapatan tambahan dari sektor non-pertanian untuk memenuhi kebutuhan rumah tangga. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kontribusi usahatani padi terhadap pendapatan rumah tangga petani. Lokasi penelitian berada di Desa Cangkringsari, Kecamatan Sukodono, Kabupaten Sidoarjo, dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Sampel penelitian sebanyak 65 petani dipilih menggunakan metode stratified random sampling berdasarkan tiga kategori luas lahan yang dikelola. Data dianalisis menggunakan perhitungan analisis kontribusi, Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kontribusi usahatani padi terhadap total pendapatan rumah tangga tergolong rendah pada petani dengan luas lahan <0,50 ha (15,70%) dan 0,50-0,86 ha (29,89%). setya tergolong sedang pada petani dengan luas lahan >0,86 ha (32,06%).

Abstract

Agro-edutourism is a form of ecotourism that offers an interesting opportunity to develop regional tourism. By utilizing the potential of nature and biodiversity and combining it with the agricultural sector, agro-edutourism can provide an interesting and educational experience for tourist. This study aims to analyze the opportunities and challenges in the development of agro-edutourism in Waimital Village, Kairatu District, West Seram Regency. A descriptive approach is used to collect data in the form of words. The data collected after being analyzed is then described so that it is easily understood by others. The method used is AHP (Analitical Hierarchy Process). The AHP method is a decision support model this decision support will describe complex multi-factor or multi-criteria problem into a hierarchy. The result of the study showed that Opportunity as the best Alternative with the highest priority score of 0,003417, the second priority is the Actor Party with a score of 0,002907, the third priority is Challenges with a score of 0,002181, and the last is Improvement with a score of 0,001133. Waimital Village has a very high opportunity for agro-edu-tourism development, due to the existence of agriculture, plantation, fisheries, livestock and many other agricultural and livestockindustrial productions that can support the development of agro-edu-tourism in Waimital Village in the future

Abstract

Penggunaan benih bersertifikat merupakan salah satu upaya penting untuk meningkatkan kualitas dan produktivitas kopi nasional. Namun, tingkat partisipasi petani dalam sertifikasi benih kopi masih rendah, sehingga perlu dievaluasi faktor - faktor yang memengaruhinya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi pengaruh faktor ekonomi, sosial, lingkungan, dan peraturan terhadap minat petani dalam menyertifikasikan benih kopi. Penelitian dilaksanakan di Kabupaten Malang dengan melibatkan 194 petani kopi sebagai responden. Pendekatan kuantitatif digunakan melalui metode Structural Equation Modeling–Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa faktor sosial, lingkungan, dan peraturan berpengaruh signifikan terhadap minat petani, sedangkan faktor ekonomi tidak memberikan pengaruh yang signifikan. Faktor sosial menjadi variabel paling dominan, menunjukkan pentingnya dukungan kelompok tani, pengetahuan bersama, dan jaminan mutu dalam mendorong minat terhadap sertifikasi. Nilai R Square sebesar 0.804 menunjukkan bahwa keempat konstruk mampu menjelaskan 80,4% variabel minat petani. Hasil ini menegaskan bahwa upaya peningkatan partisipasi petani dalam program sertifikasi benih perlu difokuskan pada pendekatan sosial dan kelembagaan, serta penyederhanaan akses terhadap regulasi dan edukasi lingkungan. Sertifikasi benih kopi tidak hanya berfungsi sebagai jaminan mutu, tetapi juga sebagai instrumen strategis dalam meningkatkan daya saing dan keberlanjutan agribisnis kopi rakyat

Abstract

The growth of urban agriculture has driven an increase in demand for healthy vegetables such as hydroponics in the city of Surabaya. Despite the increasing trend of consumption, consumer loyalty is still a challenge affecting the sustainability of the market. This study aims to analyze the influence of satisfaction and buying interest on the loyalty of hydroponic vegetable consumers. The study was conducted on 103 respondents using the purposive sampling technique. The data was analyzed using the Structural Equation Modeling–Partial Least Square (SEM-PLS) approach to measure the relationship between latent variables. The results show that both consumer satisfaction and buying interest have a positive and significant influence on loyalty, with buying interest being the most dominant factor. An R² value of 0.745 indicates that the model has a high clarity of power over the loyalty variable, while a Q² value of 0.676 indicates the predictive power of the model. This research has a strategic impact for hydroponic agribusiness players to focus their marketing strategies on increasing purchase intention and satisfaction through education, product quality, and emotional approach to consumers. Theoretically, these findings strengthen the study of consumer behavior in the context of sustainable agribusiness in urban areas.

Abstract

Jagung merupakan komoditas unggulan dan sumber pendapatan utama penduduk di Kabupaten Lombok Tengah. Petani di Kawasan ini menghadapi tantangan ketahanan produksi akibat perubahan pola cuaca dan ketidakpastian iklim. Kondisi ini membuat petani harus beradaptasi dengan berbagai risiko yang mengancam produktivitas dan keberlanjutan usahatani jagung. Tujuan Penelitian ini adalah; (1) Menganalisis rasionalitas petani dalam budidaya jagung di Kabupaten Lombok Tengah; (2) Menganalisis ketahanan petani jagung dalam menghadapi Dampak Perubahan Iklim di Kabupaten Lombok Tengah. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode kuantitatif dengan pendekatan survey. Penelitian dilakukan di Desa Mertak, Kecamatan Pujut, Kabupaten Lombok Tengah. Teknik pengambilan data menggunakan wawancara dengan responden yang dipandu dengan kuesioner terhadap 40 petani jagung yang dipilih secara purposive sampling. Analisis data yang digunakan untuk menganalisis rasionalitas dan tingkat ketahanan petani mengguanakan analisis method successive interval (MSI). Hasil analisis menunjukkan rasionalitas ekonomi menunjukkan nilai tertinggi (3,05) dalam budidaya jagung, sedangkan rasionalitas infrastruktur menunjukkan nilai paling rendah (2,55). Tingkat ketahanan petani jagung dalam menghadapi dampak perubahan iklim di Kabupaten Lombok Tengah masuk kategori sedang (3,36), dimana variabel paling kuat yang mendorong ketahanan petani dalam menghadapi dampak perubahan iklim adalah keyakinan petani akan adanya perubahan iklim dengan nilai 4,21 (tinggi), selanjutnya adalah variabel kapasitas adaptif petani yang masuk kategori tinggi dengan nilai 4,11. Variabel mitigasi perubahan iklim menjadi faktor paling rendah dengan nilai 2,33.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis perilaku ekonomi rumah tangga buruh tani di Desa Selorejo, Kecamatan Baureno, Kabupaten Bojonegoro, dengan fokus pada karakteristik buruh, alokasi waktu kerja, pendapatan, pengeluaran, dan dinamika ekonomi rumah tangga. Metode survei dengan pendekatan kuantitatif dan kualitatif digunakan pada 35 rumah tangga yang dipilih secara purposive. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) buruh tani bekerja secara musiman dengan rata-rata 50,36 hari kerja per bulan—35,07 hari untuk usaha tani dan 3,69 hari untuk kegiatan non-pertanian; (2) sumber utama pendapatan berasal dari pertanian, rata-rata sebesar Rp6.983.866 per bulan atau 97% dari total pendapatan; dan (3) pengeluaran rumah tangga mencapai Rp3.311.920 per bulan, terdiri dari 48% untuk pangan dan 52% untuk non-pangan. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa rumah tangga buruh tani menerapkan strategi ekonomi adaptif seperti diversifikasi pekerjaan dan efisiensi pengeluaran untuk memperkuat ketahanan ekonomi keluarga.
