Abstract

This study's main goal was to determine the effect of the school's organizational climate and administrator's leadership styles on the teacher's level of performance in the selected Apostolic Vicariate of Bulacan (AVB) Parochial Schools. The teachers at six chosen AVB parochial schools served as the study's primary respondents. The tool utilized was a four-part questionnaire about the culture of the organization, the leadership style, and the effectiveness of the teachers. Frequency distribution, standard deviation, descriptive measures, and standard linear regression analysis were the statistical techniques utilized to quantify and infer the relationship between the relevant variables. The findings showed that gender and the highest educational degree are important predictors of instructors' performance levels at the 0.05 significance level. It was also determined that leadership style and organizational climate had no significant impacts on the teachers' performance. Suggestions on a collaborative effort by the administration, teachers, and students should be looked into and evaluated for the further enhancement of this study.

Abstract

This chapter provides an overview of several topics relevant to constructing an approach to teaching educational administration and leadership in Muslim countries. First, it places the topic in the context of the changing nature and critiques of the field that argue for a greater internationalization to both resist some of the negative aspects of globalization and to represent countries’ traditions in the professional curriculum. The study of education administration and management theory is a part that provides direction and views on how an educational administrator carries out his duties based on truth values, both practical and theoretical values. This journal will explain the theory of management and administration which is very important and influential in an institution. In its application, management and administration are a mutually sustainable unit so that an institution can achieve its goals if its leaders can manage the administration properly, be it the management of Human Resources, Finance, Infrastructure and so on. If the administrative arrangements can run well, then the management in an institution will automatically be organized by itself.

Abstract

Social media has emerged as a contemporary form of media with diverse attributes and characteristics. It serves as a means of instruction, and the younger generation frequently engages with it for various social interactions and communication purposes. While social media offers features not limited to education and is readily accessible to students, it can also impact certain academic aspects through this new digital medium. This study investigated the association between social media exposure and grammar proficiency among junior high school students, specifically spelling and punctuation marks usage. The researchers employed a correlational design and collected quantitative data. Through, total population sampling method, students from Grades 7, 8, 9, and 10 in a laboratory school in Eastern Visayas were chosen. The questionnaire included a spelling and punctuation examination, and the results were analyze using statistical methods such as mean, percentage, standard deviation, Pearson correlation (r), and Eta – correlation. This study's findings indicate no significant relationship between the grammar proficiency of the respondents and their social media exposure, as there is a relatively low correlation and association between the time spent on social media and grammar proficiency test scores. However, the study also revealed a positive correlation between age and grammar proficiency, implying that the older the respondents, the higher their knowledge about correct spelling and punctuation marks usage. Furthermore, the study also suggests conducting further research to explore the relationship between other components of grammar competency and specific social media platforms, such as TikTok, which has the highest hours of exposure.

Abstract

The fashion business is regarded as one of the most important industries in the world and contributes significantly to the world economy’s benefits. In the era of technology, applying the right management techniques for advertising is very important to succeed among commercial competitors in competitive markets. Even though advertising has so many positive effects, it also has a negative side, such as it could create unrealistic beauty and body standards due to the marketers using attractive, slender, and tall models which promotes the ideal body image in culture. The purpose of this research is to determine how impactful body diversity in advertising affects consumers' attitude toward advertisements and their desire to buy clothes, to determine what kind of models to utilize in fashion goods commercials to strengthen consumer perceptions of advertisements and buy intent, and to explore the effects of size inclusivity as the moderating variable of diversity in advertising and attitude toward the advertisements. The methodologies used in this study were qualitative and quantitative. As a result, the purpose of this study is to determine whether or not advertising that promotes body positivity has an impact on how consumers feel about advertisements and their intentions to buy from fashion retailers, which type of model's body, a larger or slimmer one, has a greater effect on the consumer's perception of the advertising and their desire to purchase according to the customer's body type and sizes, and how size inclusivity becomes the moderating variable between advertisements and purchases.

Abstract

The study aimed to determine the effectiveness of Differentiated Instruction strategy using selected Multiple Intelligences activities on the students’ performance in Science 10 (Physics). The researcher employed quasi-experimental research and a descriptive method utilizing questionnaires as the principal tool to gather the data. The respondents involved in the study were the One Hundred Twenty (120) Grade 10 Junior High School students of Bagong Nayon II National High School, Antipolo City, during the school year 2022-2023. They were grouped according to their dominant Multiple Intelligence. The study revealed that among the first five dominant multiple intelligences of the students, the majority of the students are more on intrapersonal intelligence rather than the other. This implies that some of the respondents perform more in intrapersonal tasks and skills which would then indicate that teachers should assess each learner's multiple intelligence to know and enhance students' performance in academics. The use of Differentiated Instruction in teaching Science 10 (Physics) greatly improved the performance of the students in terms of their academics. This was shown on the pretest and posttest performance of the students in which their posttest performance increased greatly after the utilization of differentiated instruction in teaching Science 10. It can also be noted that the Intrapersonal Group of students got the highest increase in mean score. The average mean score in the pretest is 19.49 and 35.69 in the posttest with the mean increase of 16.20. This implies that although the students were given different activities, they all performed well. Based on the findings of the study, teachers can use differentiated instruction for the purpose of enhancing the academic performance of the students. This also implies that the prepared activities intended for these groups of students were effective. Therefore, a student-focused approach of teaching fosters an effective learning environment and excellent academic performance.
