Abstract

Online learning is learning that uses the internet network with accessibility, connectivity, flexibility and the ability to bring up various types of learning interactions. Ineffective online learning due to limited facilities, supporting facilities and infrastructure in online learning such as cellphones, laptops, internet networks and also quotas for accessing the internet can cause psychological disorders, namely stress. Stress experienced by students that occurs at school/college is called academic stress. The design of this study used a correlative design with a cross sectional approach. The research population was 111 undergraduate nursing students at Stikes Maharani Malang and the research sample was 88 respondents with calculations using the Slovin formula with determination using Stratified Random Sampling. The data collection technique used instruments in the form of an online learning questionnaire and an ESSA (Educational Stress Scale Adolescent) academic stress questionnaire. The data analysis method used is the Spearman Rank test. The results showed that most of the 51 (58.0%) respondents experienced poor online learning and most of the 58 (65.2%) respondents experienced very severe academic stress. The results of the Spearman Rank test show that there is a relationship between online learning during the Covid-19 pandemic and the academic stress of undergraduate Nursing students at STIKes Maharani Malang, the p value = (0.000) < (0.05), meaning that someone who experiences online learning is not good then can cause severe academic stress. The suggestion of this research is that further research is needed to determine other factors that cause academic stress such as family economic status and the ability to use electronic media.

Abstract

Background and Aim: The state of malnutrition or chronic malnutrition that occurs in toddlers aged between 0-60 months, characterized by short stature and delays in growth and development is called stunting. The reported stunting rate is generally global, not differentiated by age range, so the exact number for each of these age ranges cannot be known. However, the average cases discussed were cases in groups of children or toddlers that received less attention. This condition causes toddlers to be very vulnerable to stunting. Toddlers who have experienced stunting are of particular concern, especially in fulfilling their nutrition. The family Coaching Support nursing intervention program is very important to increase the nutritional adequacy of these toddlers Methods: The research design uses a correlational design through a cross sectional model. The population used by the researchers was 64 children with a sample of 52 children using a proportional stratified random sampling technique. Bivariate analysis using the Spearman Rank correlation test. Results: The results of the study obtained a p value of 0.0005 <α 0.05 with a correlation of 0.3244 which means that the study has a moderate relationship between the coaching support nursing intervention model and the fulfillment of nutritional needs in children. Conclusion: The role of nurses, especially in community and family nursing, can be as a counselor assistant and as an educator related to understanding the form of family coaching support to preventing stunting or malnutrition in children according to family expectations in achieving the appropriate stages of child and family development Keywords ; nursing intervention, Coaching support, family, toddlers

Abstract

The World Health Organization (WHO) estimates that Mycobacterium tuberculosis, the single agent causing pulmonary tuberculosis (TB), infects 1.8 billion people, or around one-quarter of the world's total population. In Indonesia, there are an estimated 969,000 cases of pulmonary TB, including 443,235 reported cases. Prison is a high transmission site for pulmonary TB. Prison circumstances, such as high occupancy capacity, inadequate ventilation and nutrition, difficulties accessing health care, inadequate treatment, and weak patient immunity, are some of the variables influencing this. Knowledge on the origins, transmission, preventative strategies, and early diagnosis of pulmonary TB infection is essential for the prisoner in order to change attitudes toward pulmonary TB infection. This study used a descriptive approach to generate a description of the prevalence and risk factors for the spread of pulmonary tuberculosis in the Prison of Jember Class IIA. Based on the WHO-recommended screening technique, 4 male prisoners in the Prison of Jember Class IIA (8.5%) tested positive for pulmonary tuberculosis. There are various aspects that are difficult to include into environmental health standards, particularly infectious diseases like pulmonary tuberculosis, such as the density of people in a single cell room and the construction of the building and the services housed inside it. Policymakers must pay attention to the requirement to create appropriate isolation rooms and, at the very least, satisfy room standards for patients suffering from pulmonary tuberculosis.

Abstract

Surgical wound infections are the second most common cause of nosocomial infections and have high morbidity and mortality rates. The use of antiseptic skin preparations is effective in preventing surgical wound infections. There is still insufficient evidence to evaluate the type, concentration and method of use of antiseptic agents for skin preparation in cesarean section. The aim of the study was to determine the effectiveness of skin preparation using chlorhexidine 7.5%, cetrimide 15%-povidone iodine 10% and povidone iodine 10%-alcohol 70% against Wound Infections for Caesarean Section Operations in RSUD Dr. Haryoto Lumajang. The research design used is quantitative research with a quasi-experimental approach, post test only-control group design. The population in this study were patients who underwent cesarean section at RSUD Dr. Haryoto Lumajangl. The sample was selected by accidental sampling from 27 February 2023 to 25 March 2023, and 66 respondents were found who met the inclusion and exclusion criteria. The samples were divided into 2 groups: the test group (33 samples) received a combination skin preparation of 7.5% chlorhexidine, setrimide 15% - 10% povidone iodine and the control group (33 samples) received a skin preparation combination of 10% povidone iodine - 70% alcohol . Observation of the surgical wound was carried out on day 3 and day 10. The results of this study indicated that there was no incidence of surgical wound infection on the third day. Surgical wound infections on the 10th day in the 7.5% chlorhexidine skin preparation group, setrimide 15% - 10% povidone iodine by 2 respondents and in the 10% povidone iodine skin preparation group - alcohol by 4 respondents. But statistically it was not significantly different from the value of p = 0.395, meaning that Ho was accepted and Ha was rejected, so there was no significant difference between skin preparation using chlorhexidine 7.5% setrimide 15% - 10% povidone iodine and 10% povidone iodine - 70% alcohol on the Incidence of Wound Infection by Caesarean Section at RSUD Dr. Haryoto Lumajang. With the difference in the incidence of surgical wound infection, it can be considered and an alternative for Dr. Haryoto Lumajang to use skin preparation using 7.5% chlorhexidine, 15% setrimide-10% povidone iodine Keywords: Surgical wound infection, skin preparation, chlorhexidine, povidone iodine, alcohol, cesarean section.

Abstract

Injectable contraception does not cause problems but still has drawbacks and side effects. A 3-month injectable birth control acceptor, some time after using the contraception, sometimes experiences several problems such as headaches, menstrual disorders and weight gain or loss. Zumba exercises have movements that are able to move the abdominal and gluteal muscles with light abilities, up to 60 minutes in duration. can break down fat stores in the body. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of Zumba gymnastics on reducing the side effects of weight gain in 3-month injectable birth control acceptors. The design used in this study was quasi-experimental. The research design used was one group pre-test-post test design. The sample in this study was 44 respondents. Data analysis in this study used the Wilcoxon test. The results of the Wilcoxon test above show that a significant value <0.05 with a Zcount value of 3.051 > Z table 0.208 means that H1 is accepted and Ho is rejected, that is, there is an effect of giving Zuma gymnastics on weight loss in 3-month injection family planning acceptors at PMB Muslikhatun.
