Abstract

Medical records in hospitals are a crucial aspect that reflects the quality of service, measured through the completeness of information filling. The purpose of this study was to identify the function of the assembling process, understand the implementation of the main tasks of assembling, and analyze the inhibiting factors in the assembling process at Rumah Saki X Purwodadi. Descriptive qualitative method was used in this research. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. Data processing with source triangulation involved four informants. Data analysis used the Miles and Huberman method for reduction, data presentation, and conclusion. The results showed the excellence of the medical record assembling process at Hospital X, especially in form preparation, information documentation, document control, and patient identification supervision. Challenges were found such as form filling errors and constraints in supervision, which could affect the integrity of medical records. Analyze assembling tasks such as the efficiency of re-assembling forms and the importance of careful examination of medical record data. Improvements were needed such as medical record form filling errors. Constraining factors included staff attitudes affecting service quality and low motivation due to high workload. Suggestions involve periodic training, increased staff motivation, and adoption of medical record technology.

Abstract

Fraud in health insurance significantly burdens the financing of health services. One of the fraud prevention innovations that has been developed and implemented by health service providers is the use of fingerprints. This research uses a qualitative method with a case study approach, aiming to explore the use of finger prints in legalizing BPJS Kesehatan patient guarantee letters as an effort to prevent fraud. The research was conducted at RSIA X Kupang City. Researchers carry out assessments, determine diagnosis, plan actions and initiate actions that have been taken. The case with the initials Mrs. I came with a referral from FKTP to carry out a pregnancy check, but it was indicated that She has used another participant's JKN-KIS card. Results of the evaluation, it was found that fraud was able to be prevented by RSIA. The actions taken by officers in the outpatient registration section at RSIA based on SOP, which is a derivative of the cooperation agreement between RSIA and BPJS Kesehatan. However, participants who do not meet these requirements have received services at FKTP as proven by the reference letter. This is indeed a challenge for BPJS Health and FKTP to innovate to overcome this problem.

Abstract

The informal sector is one of the sectors that has not yet implemented many aspects of Occupational Safety and Health (K3). This is due to the lack of awareness of workers and supervision from various parties for the implementation of K3. K3 needs to be implemented in the informal sector including rice mills because this environment has the potential for danger and risk that can cause accidents and work fatigue. Work fatigue needs to be prevented to prevent work accidents. The purpose of the study was to determine the prevention of work fatigue in the informal rice milling sector. The research method was a literature review. Literature review was carried out using the Google Scholar search engine. The results of the literature search obtained 7 articles related to work fatigue factors and prevention of work fatigue. The article recommends that work fatigue needs to be prevented to increase work productivity in rice mill workers. The conclusion of the study is that rice mill workers need to prevent work fatigue by stretching their muscles while working, consuming enough water to prevent dehydration, and improving work postures to be more ergonomic to prevent work fatigue.

Abstract

The lifestyle and dietary habits of Indonesians have undergone substantial changes, even in rural regions such as Grobogan Regency. Housewives play a crucial role in selecting and preparing meals for their families, making it essential to understand junk food consumption patterns in this demographic for improving nutritional status and preventing non-communicable diseases. This study aims to assess the correlation between junk food intake and nutritional status among housewives in rural settings. It employed an analytical observational approach with a cross-sectional design, conducted from January to February 2025. A total of 44 participants were selected using purposive sampling. Junk food consumption data were collected through the Food Frequency Questionnaire (FFQ). Bivariate analysis using gamma correlation was applied to examine the relationship between the variables with a significance level of p < 0.05. The analysis indicated no statistically significant association between junk food consumption and nutritional status (p = 0.972, p > 0.05), with a very weak correlation coefficient of 0.009. The absence of a relationship may be influenced by factors such as the frequency of consumption and physical activity levels.

Abstract

Cervical cancer is one of the leading causes of death among women worldwide, making early detection through effective screening crucial. This study aims to compare the efficacy of three cervical cancer screening methods: HPV DNA testing, pap smear, and liquid biopsy. The method used is a systematic review based on the PRISMA 2020 guidelines, with literature searches conducted in PubMed, Scopus, ScienceDirect, and Google Scholar from 2019 to 2025. Out of 657 articles, 17 studies met the inclusion criteria and were analyzed descriptively and comparatively. The results indicated that HPV DNA testing had the highest sensitivity (73–96%) and negative predictive value (90–99%), but its specificity varied (39–97%). Pap smear had lower sensitivity (30–64%) but good specificity and positive predictive value (65–92% and 63–89%). Liquid biopsy offered very high specificity and positive predictive value (89–100% and 70–100%), but its sensitivity was still limited (27–78%). A combination of the three methods is recommended to improve diagnostic accuracy and the effectiveness of cervical cancer screening. HPV DNA testing excels in early detection, Pap smear is suitable for resource-limited areas, and liquid biopsy holds potential as a confirmation or monitoring method.

Abstract

Diabetes mellitus is one of the chronic diseases that is no longer limited to the adult age group but is also increasingly found in the child population. Modern lifestyle changes, especially the consumption patterns of high-sugar but low-nutrient beverages, have become the main factor contributing to the rise of diabetes mellitus cases at an early age. Data from the Indonesian Pediatrician Association (IDAI) shows that as many as 1,645 children in Indonesia have been diagnosed with diabetes, spread across 13 major cities. This study aims to explore the consumption habits of sweet beverages and assess the nutritional status of students at MI Pondok Saffiyan Haffiya. The research approach used is descriptive quantitative with a cross-sectional design and total sampling technique. The findings show that as many as 3 students (5%) are in the overweight category. The consumption habits of sweet drinks in the last week include: boxed milk consumed by 26 students (74.3%), soft drinks like Coca-Cola or Sprite by 8 students (22.9%), sweet tea by 15 students (42.9%), ice cream by 16 students (45.7%), and boba drinks by 10 students (28.6%). Obesity in children is generally caused by an imbalance between energy intake and expenditure, especially due to the consumption of high-sugar drinks without sufficient physical activity. Therefore, interventions through nutrition education and the promotion of healthy lifestyles from an early age are crucial strategies in efforts to prevent diabetes mellitus in children.

Abstract

Normal delivery care is a form of midwifery care that prioritizes cleanliness and safety throughout all stages of labor, from the first to the fourth stage. Maternal and neonatal mortality rates are important indicators in assessing the quality of delivery services, particularly by midwives. This study aims to determine the relationship between midwives' knowledge and attitudes with their compliance in implementing normal delivery care standards for mothers giving birth at the Pattingalloang Community Health Center, Makassar, in 2024. This study used an analytical design with an observational cross-sectional approach. The sample consisted of all 15 midwives working at the community health center. Data were collected using questionnaires and standard operating procedures for normal delivery care, then analyzed using the chi-square test. The analysis results showed no significant relationship between knowledge (p=0.371) and attitudes (p=0.57) with the level of compliance in implementing normal delivery care. Need for other strategies to improve the quality of delivery services, one of which is through more intensive education such as counseling and classes for pregnant women. In addition, it is important for pregnant women to actively seek information from trusted sources, including social media, to broaden their understanding of health.
