Abstract

The Integrated Health Service Post (Posyandu) is a form of Community-Based Health Effort (UKBM) that is managed by, from, for, and with the community. Its primary aim is to empower the community and facilitate access to basic health services. This study aims to identify the completeness of available health services and to assess the level of community satisfaction with the services provided at Posyandu Melati Asri. The research employed a qualitative descriptive approach, with data collection methods including observation, interviews, and questionnaires filled out by 14 respondents. Data analysis was conducted using the interactive model approach. The survey results indicate that Posyandu Melati Asri is divided into two units Melati Asri 1 and Melati Asri 2 due to the extensive coverage area of the kelurahan. The services offered include child weighing, health counseling, nutritional status monitoring, vector control activities, diarrhea prevention, and immunizations. Community satisfaction data show that 43% of respondents rated the services as “good,” while 57% rated them as “fair.” In conclusion, the majority of the respondents considered the healthcare services at Posyandu Melati Asri 1 to be in the “fair” category.

Abstract

Health literacy is an important foundation in shaping healthy behaviors from an early age. This study aims to analyze the role of PAUD teachers in building healthy behaviors in early childhood in Gunungpati sub-district. The research used a qualitative with multiple-case design. The research subjects involved 30 teachers from 10 PAUD in Gunungpati Sub-district who were selected using purposive sampling technique. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, lesson observations, and documentation analysis. Data were analyzed using thematic analysis techniques with the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results showed that PAUD teachers act as learning facilitators, healthy behavior models, motivators, and health educators. Learning strategies carried out in this study include play-based learning activities, health storytelling, clean living habituation, and demonstration of healthy practices. Supporting factors for implementation include school commitment and children's enthusiasm, while inhibiting factors include limited teacher knowledge and lack of learning media. This study concludes that the role of PAUD teachers is very important in building early childhood health literacy, but requires increased competence and infrastructure support to achieve optimal results.

Abstract

Diabetes mellitus is generally suffered by the elderly age group, but currently diabetes mellitus can also occur in adolescence. The main cause of type 2 diabetes mellitus in adolescents is an unbalanced lifestyle, including an unbalanced diet. The study aimed to find out the relationship between adolescents knowledge and attitudes about a balanced diet and preventive measures for type 2 diabetes mellitus at senior high school 10 Yogyakarta. The research design uses a quantitative method with proportionate stratified random sampling technique. The sample of this study was 93 respondents. The data were analyzed univariate and bivariate using Kendal's tau-b Test. The results were obtained between adolescents knowledge about diet with preventive measures for type 2 diabetes mellitus with a p-value of 0.010 (p?0.05) with a positive correlation of r=0.264 (0.2-0.399) and results between adolescents' attitudes about diet with preventive measures for type 2 diabetes mellitus with a p-value of 0.013 (p?0.05) with a positive correlation of r=0.300 (0.2-0.399). Interventions for preventing diabetes mellitus can be carried out, especially healthy living behavior. Future research can examine other factors, such as physical activity.

Abstract

Stunting is a chronic nutritional problem that is still a public health challenge in Indonesia. This study aims to explore the role of parenting in toddler nutrition practices amidst the implementation of government programs to prevent stunting in Candi Village. This phenomenological study involved 15 parents of toddlers selected by purposive sampling. Data collection was conducted through in-depth interviews and participatory observations for 6 months. Data analysis used the colaizzi approach with triangulation of sources and methods. The results of the study identified five main themes: (1) parents limited understanding of toddler nutrition, (2) traditional feeding practices versus program recommendations, (3) gender roles in parenting and nutritional decision-making, (4) the influence of extended family social support, and (5) adaptation to government program interventions. The findings indicate that although government programs have been implemented, parenting practices in providing nutrition are still influenced by complex cultural, economic, and social factors. This study recommends a more holistic intervention approach by considering the local context and involving all family members in nutrition education.

Abstract

Early marriage persists as a common issue in developing nations, particularly in Indonesia. This practice elevates the risk of several complications during pregnancy, delivery, and the postpartum period, primarily due to the underdeveloped reproductive systems of young women. This research aimed to determine the significance and nature of the connection between early marriage and the prevalence of prolonged labor and low birth weight (LBW). A correlative descriptive study with a retrospective design was conducted, utilizing secondary data from medical records within the Kedungjati Health Center's operational area, encompassing labor details and maternal age. The Spearman correlation test was employed to analyze the strength of association between the variables. The findings indicated a moderate correlation between early marriage and both prolonged labor (r = -0.326, negative correlation) and LBW (r = 0.440, positive correlation). These results suggest that early marriage is associated with a higher likelihood of these adverse health outcomes. Consequently, the study concludes that the health consequences linked to early marriage can be substantial, emphasizing the necessity for enhanced monitoring and intervention by relevant stakeholders.

Abstract

Special officers who manage medical devices delegate their duties in each area so that the officers do not know which devices are still functioning or not, and officers are still concurrently with other duties concurrently. The study aims to determine the logistics management of medical devices at Community Health Center X, Tegal Regency. The study used a qualitative method with seven informants, including the general administration section and holders of facilities, infrastructure, and medical device applications, technical officers, laboratory sections, dental and oral sections, delivery rooms, financial holders, and the head of administration. Data collection was carried out using observation, interviews, and documentation methods. The results of the study showed that there were still obstacles 46% for facilities and infrastructure, and 14% for medical devices. Human resources managing medical device logistics were mostly still concurrently held by general administration officers. The use of medical devices at Community Health Center X, Tegal Regency, has been running well, but for maintenance, there is no special officer tasked with maintaining equipment with routine checks. It is hoped that future researchers can conduct more in-depth research to obtain supporting data and avoid gaps during interviews.

Abstract

Mutu pelayanan kesehatan merupakan alat ukur yang digunakan untuk menilai pemenuhan kebutuhan serta harapan pasien dalam menerima pelayanan kesehatan. Penelitian ini untuk mengetahui mutu pelayanan kesehatan terhadap kepuasan pasien JKN poli penyakit dalam. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan purposive sampling yaitu sebanyak 100 responden. Hasil penelitian pada dimensi efektif 70 responden menyatakan rumah sakit sudah efektif, dimensi efisien 58 responden menyatakan petugas sudah efisien, dimensi dapat diakses 75 responden menyatakan rumah sakit dapat diakases, dimensi berfokus pada pasien 81 responden petugas berfokus pada pasien, dimensi adil 78 responden menyatakan petugas bersikap adil, dimensi aman 61 responden menyatakan rumah sakit aman dan dimensi kepuasan pasien 58 responden menyatakan puas terhadap pelayanan rumah sakit. Uji normalitas menggunakan uji kolmogorov-smirnov menunjukan data terdistribusi tidak normal dengan signifikasi < 0,05 yaitu 0,000. Hasil penelitian ini menggunakan uji chi-square dengan hasil tidak ada hubungan antara variabel efektif (p=0,0289), efisien (p=0,577), berfokus pada pasien (p=0,297), adil (p=0,066), aman (p=0,566) terhadap kepuasan pasien pasien JKN. Dan tidak ada hubungan antara variabel dapat diakses (p=0,035) terhadap kepuasan pasien JKN. Rumah sakit diharapkan dapat meningkatkan pelayanan kesehatan dan dapat memberikan pelayanan tanpa membedakan jenis asuransi yang pasien gunakan. Abstract ____________________________________________________________ The quality of health services is measuring tool used to assess patient needs and expectations in receiving health services. This research is determine mutual health services on satisfaction of JKN poly internal medicine patients. Sampling technique used purposive sampling 100 respondents. Research on effective dimension 70 respondents stated that hospital was effective, efficient dimension 58 respondents stated that staff were efficient, accessible dimension 75 respondents stated that hospital was accessible, patient-focused dimension 81 respondents stated that staff focused on patients, fair dimension 78 respondents stated that staff looks fair, safe dimension 61 respondents hospital was safe and patient satisfaction dimension 58 respondents they were satisfied with hospital services. The normality test using Kolmogorov-Smirnov that data is not normally distributed with a significance of <0.05, namely 0.000. Results of study used chi-square test there was no relationship between variables effective (p=0.0289), efficient (p=0.577), focused on patients (p=0.297), fair (p=0.066), safe (p =0.566) patient satisfaction of JKN patients. And there is no relationship between accessible variables (p=0.035) and JKN patient satisfaction. Hospitals are expected to be able improve health services and be able to provide services without distinguishing type of insurance used by patients.

Abstract

Communication is important for establishing relationships, especially in the healthcare industry. particularly for front office staff who are the first point of contact for patients. In March 2024, X Hospitals Balikpapan received 168 reviews with one out of five rating on Google Customer Reviews. The common complaint was the lack of communication by the front office staff. This research aims to determine the relationship between effective communication among front office staff at registration department and outpatient satisfaction at X Hospitals Balikpapan The research utilized a correlational analytic approach with a cross-sectional design, encompassing a sample of 96 outpatients out of 45,985 population at the polyclinic from April to June 2024, using a quota sampling technique. The data analysis included univariate and bivariate analysis. The results revealed that 49% of respondents perceived the communication of front office staff as effective, and 49% reported satisfaction with the services provided. The correlation analysis using Kendall's Tau-B yielded a coefficient of 0.427 with a significance value of 0.000, indicating a significant relationship between effective communication by front office staff and outpatient satisfaction. Based on these results, it is recommended that the hospital enhance front office staff's communication skills by providing training.

Abstract

Halodoc merupakan salah satu aplikasi telemedis yang populer di Indonesia, termasuk di Kota Semarang. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis hubungan antara kualitas sistem dengan kepuasan pengguna aplikasi halodoc di Kota Semarang. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif dengan pendekatan survei analitik dan desain cross-sectional. Sampel penelitian sebanyak 106 responden yang dipilih menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner daring berupa google formulir dan dianalisis menggunakan uji korelasi Kendall Tau. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa mayoritas responden menilai kualitas sistem dalam kategori “cukup baik” (67,9%) dan kepuasan pengguna dalam kategori “cukup puas” (69,8%). Uji statistik menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan positif yang signifikan antara kualitas sistem dengan kepuasan pengguna (koefisien korelasi 0,804; nilai p 0,000). Semakin baik kualitas sistem halodoc, maka semakin tinggi pula kepuasan pengguna. Perbaikan pada aspek keandalan sistem, keamanan, dan responsivitas layanan perlu terus dilakukan untuk meningkatkan pengalaman pengguna.

Abstract

The importance of basic health services is because posyandu plays an important role in reducing maternal and infant mortality rates. The research aims to analyze the relationship between the quality of health services and compliance with visits by mothers of toddlers at Posyandu Balita Makarti 4. The research uses a quantitative analytical design, and correlational description with a cross-sectional design. The population includes all visits by mothers of toddlers in Sumowono, Semarang Regency, in June 2023. Sample selection used a total sample of 34 respondents. The validity test uses the product moment formula, the reliability test uses Cronbach's alpha formula, the normality test uses the Shapiro-Wilk formula, and the data is analyzed using chi-square. The research results show that the service quality of Posyandu Balita Makarti 4 is considered good. The dimensions of health service quality which include tangibles (0.003), reliability (0.01), responsiveness (0.015), assurance (0.001), and empathy (0.001) show that they have a positive and significant relationship with compliance with visits by mothers of toddlers at Posyandu Balita Makarti 4. Research suggestions emphasize the importance of improving the quality of services at Posyandu as an effective strategy to increase participation and compliance with visits by mothers of toddlers.
